broke: Due to his attractiveness, Barok has slept with countless (wo)men.
woke: Despite his attractiveness, Barok is a virgin.
Bespoke: Because of entirely different factors, Barok does not know what sex is.
#this was the result of a silly conversation I had with my bf where we discussed that - since we believe the van zieks parents died early inâ#âbarok's life - barok didn't really have any women in his life until klint brought lady b along and thus is also confused and awkward withâ#âthem as soon as the interaction goes beyond etiquette-based back and forth and barok has to improvise#barok knows what sex does! but he is way too sexually repressed (and/or gay and/or ace) to ever really ask himself or show interest inâ#âdiscovering the actual logistics of it. and then klint also isn't around anymore to explain it to him...#don't get me started on gay sex how is barok supposed to know how men have sex with each other if all he's hearing about is that it's bad#this is mostly a joke unless you don't want to treat it as such. i just love making up silly things about him#the great ace attorney#tgaa#barok van zieks#spoilers#tgaa spoilers#dgs spoilers#<- just to be safe

yandere!genin!sasuke uchiha + darling who's secretly half uchiha hcs
TITLE: " LIKE WATER, LIKE BLOOD " â navi. â general yandere!sasuke hcs.
NOTES: i've been randomly feinin over naruto again and this idea just won't leave me alone :'D don't press me on lore specific stuff i just yap and pretend it's true ok. also i accidently posted this b4 it was finished ... if you read that, no u didn't.
â you're no stranger to the fact that your mother had an affair with an uchiha man a few years before the entire clan was slaughtered like cows. your father had been a high-ranking official in fugaku's inner circle, but you had never learned his name, even when he secretly visited you and your mother on weekends between his missions and clan dealings.
â this is not to say, of course, that he was a bad man. he often tried to instill core uchiha values into you (never dishonor the uchiha clan name, always seek to carry on its legacy and strength, etc..) but nothing ever seemed to stick. you were more interested in the little trinkets he would bring you: necklaces, bracelets, hair ribbons, hand fans, and various other accessories that were often branded with the uchiha symbol. none of it was ever worn out in public, though, so you just hung them on your walls instead.
â after your father's death, you eventually distanced yourself from the uchiha side of your identity as it had always been steeped in secrecy and the fear of scrutiny from the third hokage/konoha elders/villagers who felt strongly about the nine tails attack. after all, you aren't supposed to exist. you're not sure what your mother was thinking when she got knocked up at such a politically fragile time, when the uchiha clan were still under fire for conspiracy and treason.
â at the academy, you intentionally avoid sasuke. you've probably spoken to him a handful of timesâmany of which were him telling you to get out of his way, or to shut up if you were talking too loud with your friends (your assigned seat was directly behind his, unfortunately).
â it isn't until much later after you graduate from the academy and are placed into teams that sasuke somehow finds out you're also an uchiha. whether someone told him or he just... knew, you do not know. at this point, you haven't seen him in months (you're on different teams), so him appearing on the landing outside of your open window is a very startling jumpscare.
â he takes one look around your room, which has uchiha merch strung up all over the place, and is immediately pissed at you. all this time there was another surviving member of his clan and he had no clue? and it was you, of all people?
â sasuke always thought you were weird and suspicious during your days at the academy. whenever he interacted with you, you would cower from him, almost looking ashamed. you were adept at everything he was and, as much as he used to hate admitting it, you were often his competition when it came to scoring at the top of various skill tests. looking back, it all makes sense: the blood in your veins is special, as uchiha children often are. as he is. and now, instead of callousness, he feels a kindling of pride at your excellence.
â it takes no time at all for everything to change between you and sasuke. after he barges his way into your room (you don't how he found out where you live in the first place?!), he forces you to explain why you lied about being an uchiha. you have no choice but to comply after his threatening glares pin you into submission and he refuses to let you past him until you talk.
â sasuke really doesn't care that you're a "half uchiha." you descended directly from a member of the uchiha clan so as far as he's concerned, you're his kin through and through. this discovery immediately sparks something primal in sasuke, like a desprate clinging to preserve what has been, and to protect what can be.
â you're often dragged away to secluded places by sasukeâthe training grounds, usually. you try to fight but sasuke is just stronger than you and you are easily wrestled into defeat; a reoccuring pattern that makes you feel unsafe around him. but despite your growing feelings of contempt towards sasuke, he is brutally relentless in his pursuit of you or, rather, his pursuit of molding you into a proud uchiha who is willing to restore the legacy of his clan with him.
â the uchiha boy is a little worried that you lack so many of the values that he himself has been taught by his parents and itachi. you don't know much about the sharingan nor the clan's signature great fireball technique. so he starts there.
â let's be honest though: you're not interested in being lectured on the history of the clan by sasuke, but you're not entirely opposed to learning a new jutsu so you allow him to train you for now. whenever you mess up or ask too many questions, he'll sigh in very clear annoyance but bites back any insult as a mercy to you.
â you notice how much more patient he is towards you. how he quietly praises you when your little flame grows, how he immediately checks on you when you're winded from using too much chakra. there's a general closeness that never existed before (sitting shoulder-to-shoulder, physically guiding your hands into signs, or poking your forehead when you say or do something he thinks is dumb). it's all strangely... intimate.
â the frequency of his visits begin to increase as the days go by, and there were a few times where you would wake up in the middle of the night to see him standing over you. obviously, this scares you, and you have to keep sasuke's sudden intrusions into your bedroom a secret from your mother, so you begrudgingly agree to his strict schedule of meeting at his apartment at least four times a week instead of him breaking into yours.
â in the following months, you see a side of sasuke that you're sure no one else has seen. one that isn't carefree, but deeply emotional and reactive, especially when it comes to you. soon enough, he reveals his plan of revenge against itachi to you. you're shocked that he would go to such a length, and the sentiment is not shared by you at all.
â before sasuke leaves the village, he of course tries to convince you to come with him. you aren't a fool, though. despite settling into your uchiha heritage at this point, you're no destined avenger. you followed along with sasuke's strange intrusion into your life thus far, but this is where you draw the line. you refuse.
â "no? what the hell, [name]? you're an uchiha." he'll spit heatedly, arresting you by the hand when you turn to walk away from him. "your duty now is to kill itachi and restore our clan. don't think for a second that you can just run away from this. from me."
â and... he's right. one way or another, you find yourself a traitor to konoha for the sake of the blood that binds you to sasuke. what happened to his family, he won't let happen to you. this time, he's the one who'll kill to protect the one he loves, even if you hate him for doing it against your will.

I just love your yandere Dick and Kori!
But... Imagine if the reader soon became pregnant, how would they behave then??
Yandere Nightwing x reader x yandere Starfire
Dick and Kori are always hovering around you now, never letting you out of their sight. Theyâre overly attentive, always making sure youâre comfortable, but it comes with an unspoken ruleâyou canât do anything without them. Whether itâs Dick gently guiding you to the couch, insisting you rest, or Kori practically hovering while she makes sure youâre hydrated and well-fed, theyâve made it clear that youâre their responsibility now.
Dick becomes more protective than ever. Heâs constantly reminding you that you need to be careful and to avoid any kind of stress, even if itâs the smallest thing. He canât stand the thought of anything bad happening to you or the baby. He checks your surroundings, makes sure your seat is comfortable, and even gets touchy about whoâs around youâno one else is allowed to get too close, even in a friendly way. If anyone does, youâll see a warning look in his eyes, and Kori will back him up with that unrelenting smile, reminding everyone that youâre their darling.
Kori, while sweet and affectionate as always, becomes even more of a doting presence. Sheâs always checking in, brushing your hair back from your face, and showering you with kisses. Sheâll insist on feeding you herself or holding your hand at all times. Her gentle demeanor hides a possessive edgeâsheâs almost too eager to care for you and the baby, constantly making sure youâre comfortable. If anyone else tries to get involved, even with the best of intentions, Kori will immediately step in, her radiant smile hiding a simmering jealousy.
As your pregnancy progresses, both Dick and Kori isolate you more and more. They become the only two people you needâat least in their eyes. They slowly start limiting your interactions with the outside world. Youâre no longer allowed to hang out with friends unless itâs with one of them by your side. Theyâve decided that only they know whatâs best for you and the baby, and anyone else who gets too close will feel the full weight of their possessiveness. Any attempt to talk to other people about your pregnancy is met with gentle, but firm, reminders that theyâre the only ones who can truly care for you.
Both of them start getting lost in the idea of the baby. Dick talks about all the things heâs going to do as a fatherâalways with a glint of possessiveness in his voice, saying things like âIâll teach them everything,â or âTheyâre going to be just like me.â Kori is just as enamored, though her obsession takes a more nurturing turn. She talks about the future constantly, planning what the baby will do, what theyâll like, how theyâll be raised with all the love they could possibly give. To them, the pregnancy isnât just about youâitâs about the family theyâre building, and theyâre both determined that no one will ever come between them, you, and their child.
Their affection becomes almost too much to bear, but in the best way possibleâif you can overlook the overbearing tendencies. They both give you kisses and reassurances constantly, never letting you feel alone. Dickâs protectiveness is accompanied by gentle touches, his hand always resting on your stomach or keeping you close to his side. Kori, on the other hand, will often wrap you in a hug, resting her head on yours as she whispers about how happy she is. In their eyes, the three of you are already a perfect family, and they want you to feel the same way.
Though theyâre always so loving, the jealousy they both feel is palpable. If anyone else shows the slightest bit of interest in you or the pregnancy, youâll see the tension rise in their eyes. Dick might casually place a hand on your waist or lock eyes with someone whoâs talking to you, subtly making it clear that you belong to him. Kori, ever the affectionate one, will become more clingy in response, draping herself over you, constantly brushing her lips over your cheek, and giving a look to anyone who dares to linger too long around you.
Together, Dick and Kori are a force to be reckoned with. Theyâre sweet, tender, and affectionateâbut their possessiveness over you, especially now that youâre pregnant, is undeniable. They want nothing more than to keep you safe, to care for you, and to make sure that no one else can have you or your baby.

*raises hand*
To be honest, this is how I got into twisted wonderland. I was very much into otome games and I was one of those who thought it was one when I first started playing. I wasn't disappointed at all when I found out it wasn't.
My questions are
What is the demographic for this series?
I think the main demographic that they are aiming for is young adult women. If you look at what kind of merch they make for this game, you will see things like perfume, jewelry, and handbags. Not to mention, the guys are designed a certain way to attract that demographic. That doesn't mean that other demographics can't enjoy it. It just means that marketing has to put it in a category.
What is it that insights anger in you with people comparing it to an otome?
There is a certain box that otome and dating Sims get put into. Usually the characters are one dimensional and the story is weak, especially with recent ones. People do view otome games as a lesser medium because it is aimed at young adult women, similar to how romance novels are viewed as lesser books. With the main character being female, it will alinate a lot of people because of this thought process. However, if they are the kind of people that will snub up their nose at a female main character because of this then maybe it's for the best.
Is the fear that otome fans will make the fan base toxic and lessen the story impact?
With the introduction of the anime, we will have an influx of all kinds of people. Yes, even toxic and annoying people. All Fandoms have them, we can't control that. We can control who we follow and interact with. Is the fan who doesn't ship characters together, a better, real fan? No. Characters were made to be enjoyed and everyone enjoys them differently. The story will always be interesting and the characters will always be deep, regardless of what the fans do.
My final thoughts
I know everyone is scared of how twst will be viewed by the general public. That's okay.
New fans will come in and have their own opinions. That's okay.
Not every one will engage in the story the same way you do. That's okay.
Younger, less experienced fans will come in. That's okay.
Seeing these new fans as lesser and making them feel bad about how they're interacting with the media... that's something that should be avoided.
In the end twst is fun. It's only going to get more fun with the anime and I hope we can be welcoming to all sorts of people that join us.
*ahem* anyways after this complaining post, i can't wait for the anime to come out yay (i hope people who don't know anything about twst and are just basing this description on please check out the game, because it has a nice description of interesting characters) btw i hope this little comic makes you laugh a little.

Live reaction to Mastermind, ughhhhh.
Spoilers of course.
Gross.
I like this design; she's cute. Shout out to the character designers.
Satan's design is like whatever. Those imp-like horns on the top of his head looks silly. Just more fucking red on top of red. Loveart23's Satan design for her re imagined is peaked.
This shit is fucking gross, please STOP!
This design is bad too and Ozzie's outfit is hideous.
Bee's outfit here is 100% better than her main one.
See Mammon, no one wants you because you are fat and that's gross!!!! >:(((((
Notice that Mammon is the only sin that is overweight and the only one confirmed to be on the asexual spectrum. Levi's design is horrible. Those colors do not go together.
This line would be amazing if Loona wasn't a whole ass adult. This is so melodramatic I am giggling. "I love you guys." Yeah, you threaten to sexual assault them both to Mooxie and stalked them back in season 1. These characters are not "found family". This is the quality of this show now, just ass.
I skipped the song; I'm not listening to that shit. I'm tired of hearing Stolas singing about Blitz, This is a small smile on my face, you know why just look like my username.
YES SATAN!! This shit got me laughing, why he is crying over Stolass?? Fuck him, he is a fetishizer.
This is the FIRST time Stella and Via have interacted....we are at the end of season two. Look guy, she's being EVIL!!!!! and doesn't care about her daughter at all. *eye roll*
What does Stolas even do?? We never seen him do his royal duties, just fucking around with IMP or he is in his mansion.
You want to fuck your sister.
GET IT!! HE EATS A LOT!!!! MAMMON IS FAT!!!!! ISN'T THAT GROSSS!!!!!???????
I WANT TO PUNCH A HOLE IN MY WALL. Viv will never beat the fatphobia allegations. Let fat character exists without doing shit like this.
I notice that all or most of rail thin characters are rarely seen eating food but Mammon and Adam who are fat eat food on the regular.
I'm sending the fandom there too. My new favorite minor character! Thank you, janitor imp. You're a real one for this.
She better not assault Blitz every again.
Why is Blitz bathing him??? This is giving me bad vibes like why????
DROWN!!! Please do us a favor and DROWN!!!
Rating: 2/10
I don't care about Blitz, Stolas, and their relationship. It is boring and bland like dry moldy toast. It being the main "appeal" to Helluva is an awful choice, no one can tell me otherwise. This is why the views have been dropping since the released of Full Moon. The shippers are this show's life support and if they ever become unhappy, this show is tank.
This episode barely kept my attention unlike the previous one. I even paused it to eat some Hawaiian Rolls, and I had more fun eating bread than watching this episode.
The only thing that kept me interested was the small mentions of Lucifer. If did not have a hyper fixation on him, I would probably not finish the episode.
The crew hyping up Vassago by putting him in that pride parade print and other merch is funny because he does nothing. He has no personality out of being Spanish. If something is hyped by Viv or anyone else, it's going to be lame.
We know season three will have more focus on Ars Goetia so he will probably be Stolas' future Latin lover or even worse, a love triangle between him, Stolas, and Blitz. Vassago and Stolas should get together, they both have "ass" in their names.
Viv said this episode is one of her favorites and is self-indulgent. Self-indulgent where??? This is just your standard season two epsiode of Helluva. I thought it was going to be more of a musical episode.
Anyway, this episode is bad in my opinion.

Crossover Mayhem!
What's better than having one lovable robot in your house? Having eight in your house! How do they interact, how do they feel about each other, and just how did they get here?
Spolier alert but that last one is never answered, just enjoy some assorted silly self-indulgent headcanons in celebration of my first fic, Human's Touch, reaching 1,000 notes! As well as an official end to my hiatus
Includes: AM (Ihnmaims), Hal (2001: A Space Odyssey), Edgar (Electric Dreams), Tau (Tau), P03 (Inscryption), Auto (Wall-E), Glados (Portal), Wheatley (Portal 2)
The mystery of how you ended up with everyone safely in your own home is second only to how you managed to keep them all from trying to rip each other apart.
Although that doesn't necessarily mean that they get along, especially early on. AM, Glados, and P03 like threatening everyone and love threatening each other- at this point you're sure the three of them started bonding over it but you're not sure when.
P03 tends to be the most antisocial of the lot, hiding away in whatever room you've allotted for him. But he and Hal did teach each other Inscryption and Chess respectively (at your suggestion), and you'll often find them playing together. P03 continues to be a sore loser.
No one is quite sure what to make of Auto. Since he has a tendency to do and say nothing for hours at a time- moving from room to room and just, staring. Except Hal, Hal seems to get him. You're pretty confident they're friends but also pretty confident they've said next to nothing to each other.
Assuming you have the space for it, Tau would love to take up gardening. He'll often get visited by Edgar or Wheatley proding him with questions (which he is always happy to answer) or by Auto who especially likes(?) to watch the garden. In silence of course. Tau doesn't mind him all that much but Edgar and Wheatley will leave if they see him coming, they find Auto a tad unnerving.
Hal, Edgar, and Tau form something of a music club in your house. They take turns sharing songs they like or even singing, dispite the differences in genres. Tau especially loves listening to Edgar's original songs, he may even ask for pointers on writing his own.
Wheatley's inferiority complex gets extra bad- being in a small area with not only Glados, but all the others who all have one thing minimum they're great at. At least Hal, Tau, and Edgar are nice to him- but that's offset by AM and P03 joining Galdos in terrorizing him. You're going to have to do some work with him.
Edgar and Wheatley do specifically become something of a trouble maker duo. It's not unusual to hear shattering glass from the next room over and find them guiltily trying to hide a broken plate. Although you tend to forgive them pretty easily (much to Glados's frustration) on account that it's almost always an accident.
You do your best to organize bonding activities for everyone. To varying levels of success. Your old reliable is putting on a movie or show and setting out random art supplies and board games. Once you even tried doing a video game tournament, but P03 got a bit too competitive for your liking. Most of them do appreciate you for trying though.
AM and Glados also click as a duo easily- but for all the wrong reasons. They love freaking everyone out, you included. AM gets into the habit of asking you disturbing, saw movie level 'would you rather' questions. He just enjoys creeping you out, but Galdos is always actually interested in your reasoning.
The others are healthily concerned about how comfortable you are around those two, but they're also constantly making jabs at the 'inferior robots'. Like- come on, why are you so attracted to the one literally titled the 'intelligence dampening sphere'. Aka: they think you're cool and smart and should hang out with them more, but of course they'd never plainly tell you that.
It does become a sort of running gag that finally they're the normal ones and you're the strange creature since you're the only human. They love poking fun at anything from your constant need to eat to the way you have to shut down for eight hours each night. God forbid you ever get sick.
Dispite, you know, owning the house they end up treating you by cat rules. You are liable to be pet (should you allow it), and if you fall asleep on someone it is unlikely they will move until you wake up. With the notable exceptions of Tau, who will bring you to your bedroom; and P03 who will feel little remorse at waking you up himself.
Needless to say you also have a fantastic home security system now. Between that being one of Tau's main jobs, AM and Glados being prone to homicide in general, and Auto having a taser (which was a surprise to everyone, they're all a little more concerned about him now) anyone who tries to break into your house is beyond screwed. They are not gonna let some random human hurt you.
Although the degree to which they show it differs wildly, they are appreciative of the home you've tried to make for them. Being free with some of the only other beings who could possibly understand their life experience is likely something they would have never been able to experience otherwise.
That may be why they haven't tried to destroy each other yet, the fear of good old mutually assured destruction. It would be just plain stupid to jeopardize your affection and thus their place in the house like that.
All in all, it certainly makes for a strange living arrangement but you cannot find it in yourself to regret the choices that led you to this point. You love your robots and you're at least seventy percent sure they love you to.

daan's contradictions
One of the aspects of Daan's character that I find the most interesting is how often he contradicts himself throughout the game. Even in some party talks where he doesn't contradict himself, he will act entirely different about a situation depending on who else is present. To a certain extent, all of the characters act slightly differently based on your party makeup, but I think Daan is particularly intriguing because of how much he does this.
Also, he is the catalyst for a lot of the other characters to act differently, such as Karin becoming more obstinate when he's in the party, and both O'saa and Olivia becoming more talkative with him compared to other contestants.
I've seen some people who mistake this for Miro having a lot of different opinions on how Daan should act, or even poor writing, but I think this is definitely more indicative of the strength of Miro's writing. I really feel like this is a conscious choice on the part of Daan's character and I want to try and explain my thoughts about why he acts how he does, as well as provide some examples.
Examples:
1.) In one of Daan's earliest conversations in the game (if Karin is in the party), he will lament his shoes getting ruined and Karin will accuse him of being too prissy to spend time outdoors. She'll point out how he's a city slicker with soft hands and doubts that he'd have the skills to survive on his own. He'll refute her but he'll dodge her questions about being a "city slicker" and his explanations of how he'd survive are either sarcastically bad, or he's genuinely pretending not to know.
In a later party talk, we learn that Daan actually spent the majority of his childhood living in nature before he was taken in by Eihner (or started selling Sylvian services, depending on his backstory).
This makes his answers to Karin, as well as his constant comments throughout the game about how poorly he's handling the Prehevil weather and nature, very strange. If he really did grow up in nature, he should know better than to eat random mushrooms and shouldn't be bothered by things like the smell of lake water or mud, but he still makes a point of acting like he's not used to encountering them.
Additionally, if Olivia is in the party, Daan will actually backtrack on some of his comments about nature and express an interest in it, seemingly just to be nice to her.
2. When standing in the rafters of the church, if Karin is in the party, she'll express a fear of heights, Daan will point it out (in what seems to be a teasing way), and they'll bicker a bit.
Despite this interaction, if you do a party talk in the same area and Karin isn't in your party, it becomes clear that Daan is also afraid of the rafters lmao.
3. When O'saa comments on the bookstore, Daan will act offended and argue with him about the value of books and reading.
When visiting the same store without O'saa, Daan will not express a fondness for reading or share the story about A Tree Grows in Rondon, and will even say he finds books boring.
Despite this, he will once again seem to like books during his party talks in the Mayor's House.
3.) When not playing as Daan, he will tell the player (in a few different interactions) that he either plans to stay on the train, or thinks it's the best option.
He says variations of the above lines with every player character and in a few different dialogue branches. Ironically, he actually doesn't wait around by the train. In fact, Daan is one of three characters who doesn't spawn at all during the morning of Day 1. While some characters (like Olivia) will actually wait by the train, despite Daan's comments, he only ever spawns by the train during that initial interaction (and immediately after), and then doesn't return until he can be found in the shack later that day.
4.) Daan says in one party talk that he prefers being out in open areas because they seem safer, yet when Karin says the same thing, he makes fun of her for it.
5.) In some party talks, Daan will talk openly about sex, however when Abella is present, he becomes much more prudish. One example is in the department store, Daan will make a comment about how the torture victims seem to be screaming in pleasure, and if Levi is present, will agree with him that the torture is consensual.
When Abella is in the group, however, he will instead act disgusted by what he sees. Similarly, when O'saa makes a joke about sex in front of him at the PRHVL Bop, or when Marcoh and him joke about joining an orgy at the museum, Daan will go along with it, but when Abella does the same about the Sylvian statue in town, Daan will stop her.
These are just a few examples, I remember seeing a few more in my first few playthroughs, but these are just the ones that stuck out to me the most.
Analysis:
I think it makes a lot of sense that with Daan's background, he would have to have a lot of skill at appeasing others. In any version of his backstory, he would have had to rely on getting other people to trust or like him, so it's probably something he's developed a skill at. I think that can explain a lot of his random contradictions when interacting with others.
Daan's blank soul also plays a part in this, I believe. In the narrative, both with the Dutches and with Pocketcat, Daan serves as an empty vessel meant to fulfill the whims of someone else, be it Eihner's ritual or the Pocketcat's need for a body. In gameplay, most of his abilities help others at the cost of hurting himself in some way. Daan's life and story revolve around the people he's surrounded by, so it makes sense that his interactions with others would mirror that on a more minor scale.
I also think that a lot of Daan's calmness is a facade meant to trick the player (and other contestants). When we see Daan in a lot of extreme and horrifying scenarios in the game, he is hardly bothered. Attempting to kill Daan, having him inspect his fiancee's body, having him in the party for the fight with stitches or needles, or even amputating all his limbs, still only end with Daan acting almost comically calm for the situation. In contrast, when he undergoes minor annoyances like ruining his shoes or entering the sewers, he reacts very strongly. I think his apathetic personality is a coping mechanism to deal with his past trauma, as well as the trauma of Prehevil, and that his true emotions slip through the cracks of his less important interactions. That's why, when he's talking to Karin or O'saa for example, he is much more emotive and mocking.
Finally, I also think Daan is a bit of a liar. Likely due to the same reasons as needing to please others for safety and survival, he also developed a talent for lying. Throughout the game he is either incredibly secretive, or even sometimes outright lies to the player and other characters whenever he is questioned about his actions, motives, or past.

Midnight feast | jyh [ Interactive story! ]
pairing: vampire!yunho x human!fem!reader cw: blood, drinking blood, vampirism, oral sex (female receiving), oral sex (male receiving), public sex, alcohol consumption, if I miss any tags let me know Summary: After your friend stands you up at a bar, a handsome, mysterious stranger tries to light up your day. A/N: Finally!! my second interactive story, this time with yunho. This story is a choose-your-own-path story, each link at the end will take you through different routes with different plots and endings. I always have a lot of fun making these so I hope you will too. This story is 18+, minors do not interact.
Keeping up with his desires was not always easy, as a creature of the night in modern days some things had gotten just plain complicated. Furthermore, it didnât help that he was picky about his tastes and likes, but when he landed his eyes on a target he did not rest until he had it.Â
He had to have you.Â
He realized it when he saw you across the bar, all on your own, toying with a glass of an untouched beverage. You looked rather⊠disappointed, if he had to put a word to it; vulnerable women werenât exactly his type, but something about you was dragging him in, it was making him thirsty.Â
âA glass of wine, please, cabernet.â he had approached your side on the bar and turned to the bartender âAnd whatever the lady wants to replace that watered-down drink of hers.âÂ
It took you a second to realize that he was talking about you since you were too absentmindedly toying with the slim red straw that your glass had as decoration.Â
âOh, no, thatâs-â you tried to refuse politely, not really wanting to offend the handsome stranger, but also not in the mood for some random guy to be hitting on you.Â
âPlease, I insistâ he raised a hand in your direction, accompanied by a charming, captivating smile that made you feel warm within yourself. âI know what itâs like to be stood upâ he added âAsshole boyfriend?â his eyes searched for yours with a tilt of his head.Â
At that moment you took a proper look at him. He had deep black hair that somehow shined blueish whenever the dim bar lights angled enough to hit his face. He was wearing frameless glasses and a turtleneck sweater adorned by chain-like necklaces that were barely covered by his leather jacket. Fair skin that contrasted perfectly with his deep black eyes. Those eyes, certainly profound enough to drown you in them if you werenât careful, you could tell.Â
As you were weighing your chances to come out of this exchange unharmed, which you deemed very slim, the bartender came back with his order. Then you noticed the nails when he took a hold of the glass, they were long for a man and they were almond-shaped as well, covered in shiny, transparent rocks.Â
Despite his attention leaving you briefly to properly hold his drink, his eyes were deeply focused on yours, awaiting an answer to his question that was purposely formulated to test his own chances with you, and it wasnât like you were particularly interestedâŠ
But there was just something about those eyes.Â
âMore like an ungrateful friendâ you finally spoke, as if something was compelling you to do so.Â
âI know the type.â he tried to sympathize in hopes you wouldnât push him away âCare for some company?âÂ
Granted, you did not really want to get hit on tonight, least of all to go home and hook up with a stranger, but you figured why turn some free drinks and a nice conversation down? You decided to amuse him for a while. He was alluring, not bad on the eye at all, why not?Â
After the first few minutes of awkward conversation and introductions, during which you learned his name was Jeong Yunho and he insisted on you calling him only âYunhoâ, the conversation began to flow easily. It was almost as if he could see into you, that something was forcing you to keep talking about yourself no matter how stupid, embarrassing, or utterly unnecessary the information was. To every single bit of said information, though, he had an answer ready, some were of sympathy and understanding, and some similar stories of his own. You could feel a connection, a real connection that didnât happen often.Â
Yunho felt about the same way, the one difference was that you could feel it in your chest, and him? In the endless throbbing between his legs and the urge to make a mess out of that beautiful neck of yours.Â
â...and I swear, the cat just climbed all the way up my leg and, before I knew it, it was on my head!â as he finished his sentence, he began to laugh at the reminiscing of his own story.Â
You couldnât help but laugh along; itâs not that the story was particularly funny, but he was enjoying himself so much it was infectious.Â
âMust have been really talented, climbing a man as tall as youâ you observed, your hand landing teasingly on his thigh âGotta say, Iâm kinda jealousâÂ
Maybe it was the booze of the few drinks you had had, maybe it was the fact that he smelled like morning dew, or maybe he was just ridiculously hot and you had started to get horny a while ago, but all this banter and laughing had gotten to you, and you were curious about what could happen next, or if he had the same interest in taking you home, hell, taking you at all.Â
Yunho, smart and experienced as he was, picked up on the signal real quick, his eyes darkened at the prospect of having you, and if he was honest with himself, heâd rather that be sooner than later.Â
âWell, we canât have such a beautiful ladyâs heart filled with such a nefarious feelingâ he said as he took your hand and gently brought it up to his lips to press a kiss to the back of it. âShall we move this somewhere else?âÂ
Follow him to the alley Follow him back to his home

Ngl I feel bad -like genuinely- for people who can't enjoy characters or ships because of a canon OOC writing. And that's not in an "I pity you" sort of way, really. That almost happened to me: when I first got into the fandom, one of the first comics I read was Lost Days, which was unfortunately my introduction to Talia. Fortunately, I was very new to the fandom and her character and my perception of her was soon rectified when I found out quickly that this was OOC racist writing and I didn't really get the time to develop any discomfort with her character before my view was corrected (thank you, tumblr dc fandom who people like to denigrate) but I could have not been so lucky. First impressions are important, and I totally understand not being able to get past your introduction to a character. What if the first thing I first read about Dick was his time as a cop, or Steph doing blackface in a white saviour-ish run, or Tim being violently misogynistic? (pretty sure all of those are because of Chuck Dixon, fuck you Chuck Dixon). What if the first thing I read about Jason was one of so many of his terrible runs, he's my favourite blorbo and I could have been like "who tf is this 40 years old mf shooting children in the chest" don't think my image of him would have ever fully recovered. Same with ships I understand the frustration of liking a character and being so disappointed by their portrayal in a team-up that it disgusts you from the ship. People who hate Jayroy/Joyfire because of Lobdell's writing, who can't deal with StephCass after Batgirls 2022, etc I get it. And I'm sorry those writers took away the joy and pleasure you could have had in exploring those characters and the dynamics between them. And it could still happen! With any new character/relationship there's that risk. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty scared of giving the writers that power over me. Like yeah, I get it that's the point of writing, but who decides to give Morrison's Talia more power over Barr's Talia: dc editorial? The chronology upon which you stumble upon a comic? Sheer coincidence?
Absolutely terrifying. So many of these characters and ships have so much potential, and I think that's why I cling so much to the version of them that exists in my head like no, leave my Talia alone, you won't touch my Stephcass, get your grubby paws away from my Jayroy. It's like an everyday mantra "they can't take the sapphics from me, they can't take the sapphics from me, they can't..." Anyway, cheers to fanfic and AUs and the handful of mutuals that enjoy my personal brand of characterization cherry-picked from the quality comics I enjoy.
(But also it goes both way. Your introduction to the character/ship is very different from mine and mine is very different from yours, and you don't get to police shipping or even just shit on the ship just because it isn't for you. I'm weary of this mentality I've been seeing of "you shouldn't ship that because they don't interact in canon"/"their only canon interactions are ooc" because like, yeah? The point of shipping is not just to explore preexisting dynamics it's also often "i think those would complete/oppose eachother in an interesting way", that's the point. Don't yuck eachother's yums because of Scott Lobdell, do you really wanna give him that much power over your life?).

Good riddance to that mess: Thank the Dread Wolf weâre done with the Mage-Templar conflict
(because magic in Thedas is more interesting this way)
Okay the people who love conflict have won and I am going to talk about this now lol
I've decided to stick within the framework of the world/story for this particular post, because I think you could talk about the issues with the mages/templars in connection with how they relate to real-life groups for an entire essay AT LEAST, and I want to focus on magic here, so I don't think it's that germane to the discussion. If you all want to talk about that later, I can put it on the pile.
It turns out that Jenny Nicholson was 100% right about the efficacy of numbered lists on the internet, so this essay will be hybridized into a list. Here are the reasons I'm glad the mage-templar conflict is gone and hope it never returns:
It limits storytelling avenues I understand how they arrived at this dichotomy as the logical extrapolation of a minority of people in Thedas being born with magic BUT it's very boring and it doesn't facilitate interesting stories. If you have this strict system and hierarchy that means that every mage has to live in the tower or they're a) a criminal or b) Dalish, that seriously limits the kind of characters you can make who are mages, which is dull as both a player and a writer.
Trying to make it nuanced is difficult Attempting to show that everyone has a point in a situation is difficult when one group has absolute power over the other and can kill them whenever they feel like it. Also, with the abuses the Templars regularly perpetuate against the mages established in DAO and DA2 any attempted justification reads as the story sanctioning an oppressive force. If they try to demonstrate the danger of magic, they end up with the 10,000 blood mage problem from DA2. It's a hard thing to do within the framework they set up, but they also haven't been particularly successful with it, imo, so abandoning it is a better choice.
It's the most reductive version of the conflict Reducing the entire discussion to whether magic is good or evil, whether mages should be free or confined is really boring. It's a false dichotomy that promotes extremism in characters on either side of the conflict who never interact with one another. "Is magic bad?" is a useless and uninteresting question. Who cares? What does it do?; Where did it come from?; What different ways can you use it? are all better questions.
Makes it difficult for the audience to learn more about magic If the only characters the audience ever meets are people who come from the Circle, Dalish mages, and apostates, the amount they're going to learn about different perspectives on magic and its various uses is limited. Part of the reason Jaws of Hakkon was such an interesting DLC for DAI is because the Avvar have a completely different philosophy about magic and spirits. It was refreshing after several games of having the same ideas about magic shoved down our throats to hear someone give a different perspective and ACTUALLY NEW information. Everything I needed to know about the mage-templar conflict, I already knew by the end of DAO, but I had to sit through two more entire games while people discussed it at length.
Magic in the North is fascinating Now that we're finally rid of that conflict, look how many different kinds of magic we get to see in DATV! We get to meet a Rivaini Seer, a Mortalitasi (who can use magic to TALK TO REAL DEAD PEOPLE!!!), a non-Altus mage from the Tevinter Imperium; we get to see magic as it was utilized by the ancient elves and how it interfaces with technology. We got DWARF MAGIC!! Finally, an answer to what Sandal was doing! We found out you can use it to turn yourself into a LICH!!! All of that stuff is so cool, and we had never encountered it before this game! It brings up so many new questions about the nature of the Fade, the source of magic itself, the strength of magic in Thedas relative to other places in the world. And NONE of it could be discussed in the South because they are too busy arguing about fucking towers!!!
tl;dr: The mage-templar conflict was a boring and reductive lens through which to view magic in the DA universe, I'm glad it's gone, I hope they continue what they started in DATV and explore different ways magic can be used in the future.
#dragon age#datv spoilers#veilguard spoilers#dragon age the veilguard#dragon age: the veilguard spoilers#veilguard#dai#dao#da2#dragon age magic#dragon age templars#dragon age mages#idk what else to tag really#hopefully this take isn't that controversial#I don't really want to argue about it but if you're polite I will discuss

adding into this to say that i think it'd be a great exploration of like. ok let me try to word it.
edit this ended up being Way Too Fucking Long so its under a readmore. AND i broke it into two parts (added a bit of siffrin Braintime Thoughts (bad) to the next rb). i got wordy bitch disease!
so first there's the stuff that's relevant to sifloop in both canon and an au like this. loop is someone who changed so much from the Torment Nexus they were put in that they felt completely removed from who they used to be, who feels like the trauma they experienced is all they are. who loathes the person they used to be with passion, thinks that they were stupid and pathetic and needy. their past self who always felt like such a disgusting and terrible person that they assumed even their loved ones were put off by them and always one mistake away from hating them. who thought that they were objectively fundamentally unloveable.
and then loop meets someone who IS who they used to be, as a separate, distinct person. the person they, for a very long time, considered to be worthless, unloveable, repulsive by nature. they get to see themselves in third person, to interact with them as a person rather than an abstraction or their past self. and he's. well. just some guy (gn)? to someone on the outside of their head he's not horrible, mean, disgusting, selfish, monstrous, or any of the innumerable negative things siffrin as a person has always believed to be. they're just. a little guy? who is actually. kind of funny and endearing, who does his best, who loves their friends so much it hurts. who loop ends up genuinely enjoying the company of and caring about.
which i think is neat vis a vis self-perception, self-compassion and the extemely subjective way one usually sees themselves! i just think it'd be interesting to see an angle of this where sif like. remains as they were in act 1 instead of being put in the torment nexus and how that'd influence the rship.
there's no way loop WOULDN'T feel extremely bitter about the difference in their circumstances! i'm 50/50 as to whether theyd direct that towards sif as is at first (why does HE get to not suffer?! Why did THEY have to suffer where he didn't! it's not fair!). or if they'd instead direct it to like, the universe at large? in the 2hats fight they say they hate their country, the universe, the stars, but notably (to ME!) they never say they hate siffrin.
tbh i think either way they'd end up kind of hot and cold, both bitter and protective. prolly v possessive either way bc like that is LITERALLY who they were as a person before the timeloops tore away their personality and body! it's THEM. they're ALL that remains of the "original" siffrin. so if anyone gets to have him, to keep him, it should be loop! they went through hell, then had to do it AGAIN in a different flavor by watching one of their family members go through the Torment Nexus. and break out of it where they couldn't. and of realizing the reason the Torment Nexus existed, that both loop and one of their family members were pushed to the brink in a hell of repetition is bc of a Wish they accidentally made. they lost EVERYTHING. so. SOO! they deserve to have this at the very least (as a treat).
toxic yuri aside, i think non-looperrrrr siffrin's company would be unexpectedly comfortable & comforting to loop bc like. they know exactly how siffrin thinks bc you know. they used to be siffrin. esp since this siffrin isn't changed by the timeloop experience. so there's no anxiety over what he may be thinking of them (be it negative or positive) or if they secretly hate loop, because they can tell very easily! so hanging out with this siffrin would be like... reading a book you've read a million times, watching a play you've watched so many times you know every beat, or like comfort food. i knowww they'd do the equivalent of when cats act like them laying on your lap and purring is totally a coincidence, incidental, circumstancial, and does not indicate anything, you mean nothing to me, what do you mean you're going to the kitchen come BACK DONT LEAVE ME. fun for the whole family!
ok wait you know what'd be interesting and more importantly hilarious. sifloop, but in an au where someone else from the party is looping. can you fucking imagine
#<-- the thinkerrrrrrrrrrr#another great post from me!#sifloop#tbh im invested enough in this au that ill name it. hm lemme pull smth out of my ass#one and a half hats au#fuck it. thats it. if anyone else has an idea let me know im so sleepy

In this whole HnM saga Harry's psychology is more interesting to me than Meghan's.
She can be possibly explained as someone who has an over exaggerated sense of self-importance and wants more and more of everything she sees as above and beyond her reach. She is obsessed with how she is perceived, what others think of her. This is very obvious from some of her favourite words and phrases - "seeing through the lense of xyz", "bespoke" "curated through the lense of.." etc etc. She wants to be what someone will like, revere, aspire to be and hence she is fixated on the PR angle of everything from day1. As opposed to showing or sharing what she truly is and using that to build her brand (which any long-term successful pr strategy usually is based on)
Harry on the other hand ... !!
I think it's his paranoia, ego, insecurity and resentment that set the ball rolling on the clusterfuck that is megxit.
Some anons pointed out that William and Harry both did silly stupid kid things growing up but Harry was used as a scape goat while William was protected. I'd argue that whatever Harry did WAS indeed so stupid, so odd that it had to be reported while Williams behavior was more in step with normal teenage behavior, so it wasn't noteworthy enough (as compared to Harry or other royals)
I've read a lot of books on Diana - Ken wharf, sally bedel smith, lady c, Wendy berry, jepson. (I revisited them again when youtuber Vintage book reads did book reviews for these and realised I had read these).
A common theme that emerges from these is that William and Diana were more like a bunch of naughty children in cahoots than a traditional mother-child relationship. They did everything together, spent a lot of quality time, laughed, created mischief, watched tv, visited friends together etc. William was there for nearly all of Diana's major life moments and was an active witness to everything she went through - good, bad and crazy. She talked to him, she shared with him, she considered him to be a whole, independent person rather than just a little boy of 6, 8,10,12 or 15 years. She gave him a lot of importance.
Maybe because he came along when she was just about 20 and they sort of grew up together, but their bond was tight. They knew eachother as humans. He also, at a very young age, had an authoritative say in her life. His approval or disapproval mattered to her a great deal. She was utterly dependant on him emotionally.
From a psychology point of view we could argue that William was a proxy for Charles, her father, her mother and she had a dependent personality disorder with William as a surrogate for whatever she wanted emotionally that she couldn't demand from others. He being a child gave to her freely, uninhibitedly.
Harry on the hand came along much later so she was a more distant mother to him (because parenting was different in royal circles in the 80s than it is for us regular folks). His parents couldn't stand eachother, so he rarely saw them interacting lovingly or functioning as a unit. Probably why he doesn't understand how healthy relationships look, or why he was jealous of Catherine or the Wales kids. But he saw how Diana+William functioned. How cohesive they were. He was just a witness while those two were a unit.
And so he developed a more attention seeking personality to get his mother's attention (and in turn Williams). If William was on his side, so was his mother (that's a childs way of thinking).
If he wanted his mother, then William came as a package deal (because of the dynamics of Diana William relationship)
Her attention was never exclusive. Whatever she gave to Harry, William would have it too, or he would he would have it first or he would have more. (In terms of emotionality associated with her time or their quality time).
Now, he couldn't control that. But later in life when he saw (or thought he saw) the same dynamic in his royal life - The sausages, the bigger room, the quality time with granny, the army honours, the close friends, the wife, the kids, the bigger homes etc - that's when he could do something. If nothing, just pointing out that this disparity exists is a huge deal for an insecure, resentful person. The problem is t even the things that William gets, because those things are secondary. The problem become William who is the person who got those things. (Talk about unconscious bias, eh!)
In reality the age gap between the boys was barely 2 years. Outside of their little bubble with mum there wasn't much difference between the 2 brothers. They went everywhere together, they got everything together, they had the same friend circle, same likes and dislikes, same schools, same everything as kids. Mainly because of the kind of relationship their parents had they always had to either be with their mum or with their dad. Not much alone quality time without the other brother because the dynamics of the separation and their lifestyle meant the brothers were always grouped together.
Yet within that, William got quality as well as quantity, or that's how Harry the spectator saw it as. When it came to mum, William got more while Harry was just looking on.
In all the books I've mentioned above, it's always William who Diana chooses to do something with, they have some mischievous secret while Harry is barely mentioned, and usually as an afterthought. They got their tv dinners and tea parties and confidences and arguments, while Harry just took in that experience as a spectator. Like watching a movie as opposed to living in it.
He was happy as long as he got any attention. Whether it's Diana, Charles or the staff. So he goes alone and does his own thing mostly. He is indulged as any curious child is, but when he, he thinks that's extra attention. So in his mind he then becomes more important than William. So the child Harry thinks he alone knows he is better than William, no one else does, and that is his little secret.
Later after she died, they kids were teenagers. Their anchor had gone. But they were naturally at the point in life where they experiment and have new experiences. It's normal for teens to be angsty, angry, rebels, defy authority, try alcohol, sneak off, party etc.
But the problem was that Harry was doing that for attention. He was pulling away. His resentment against his brother was probably unconsciously growing but he didn't know that yet (still does not). As a kid he wondered why William got more of Diana and more of a respect that he did when they were the same. And as a teen he was angry why William, now without Diana the anchor, wasn't with him as much. He couldn't make friends or the ones that were appropriate. And the group he was in was always getting in trouble with drinks, drugs and idiotic shenaigans.
Nobody had ever told him what to do, he always just went along. And as a teen when he was expected to follow rules he couldn't understand the concept.
He was rudderless, clueless, aimless. Smoking at school, doing weed relentlessly, endlessly, binge drinking, bullying others, bullying his PPOs they are all bad things. It was abnormal behaviour. And as much as Harry likes to say "William did it too", he did not. William was not stumbling into sixth form drunk off of his arse. William wasn't doing drugs and shagging staff behind the pub, William was streaking naked through the house during his father's birthday. William wasn't making fun of other pupils. William wasn't stumbling out of pubs at age 15,16,18 and vomitting on passers by. Harry was.
Ad hominen fallacy is Harry's favorite defence mechanism. Doesn't make it acceptable, logical or necessarily true.
William on the hand seems to have gained some maturity and insights into human behaviors watching his mom and others who mingled with her. He was there after all, his opinions were caught, he probably thought he was the only one who could actually save her from herself and others trying to manipulate her.
He probably learnt early on that adults arnt always right, good or know everything because he had to think on his own. His sense of self from a very young age was acknowledged and respected so he later learnt to differentiate between confidence and ego (mainly because he had to, he was also alone without his anchor person). He had to become a person and find an identity that was away from his predestined path of becoming king one day.
He fought hard and was belligerent also (as per many courtiers) but I think that's because he also struggled a lot coming to terms with the path that was set for him since before birth. He didn't choose his life, he was born in this, so he tried to make it as much his own thing as he could. Which we see in how he operates today, how and how much he works, his choice in where they live, how he deals with his team, where he lives, how he keeps his family away from the toxicity, his relationship with the middltons etc.
Harry and William have both struggled and gone through some horrible life situations which needed them to grow up fast and choose a life path.
They chose the exact opposite.
Harry's jealousy stems from his childhood issue of seeing William being better adjusted with what he got versus he, Harry, having to begrudgingly, asked to be content.

There has been something that has bothered me lately after reading some of the stuff out here on Tumblr and then watching some of the WT press. I 100% get the notion of choosing to only believe and give value to the things weâve heard Nic or Luke say, but, I have to wonder if thatâs truly the best approach considering the context. There are a lot of things in the WT that really seem to be played up or exaggerated or even just very influenced by the circumstances of the tour. The talk of being âbest friendsâ and such really seemed to be something that they played up or even was just something they were feeling in the moment of the experience of filming and touring. Theyâve never actually seemed to overlap socially, the family follows donât happen between them like they have with others, and we know that in terms of interests/hobbies they donât seem to really align.
Obviously these are all superficial things that donât have to mean anything, but I guess my point is that in a lot of ways we really should be considering how much of an unreliable narrator the situation of promoting a tv show that relies on them convincing an audience to believe they are playing two people who are friends to lovers might have made them. Iâm not trying to call them out as liars, but I just think there has to be a bit more skepticism when it comes to what they said.
This is an interesting perspective, but I think it leans too heavily on external observations rather than acknowledging the complexities of relationships/friendships - especially in a work setting. Yes, the press tour was part of their job, and naturally, there will always be an element of performance involved. But that doesnât invalidate the connection theyâve spoken about or the bond theyâve shown during the press tour.
Coworker relationships are unique, and Iâve talked about this before on my blog. In many ways, they can be just as deep, if not deeper, than "normal" friendships. Coworkers often see us in ways our family or outside friends donât. Theyâre there on your bad days and good days because, well, you have to be at work. Thereâs something about sharing long hours, challenging projects, and high-stress environments that can create incredibly meaningful bonds. I'm saying this from personal knowledge.
Friendships like this donât need to fit into the neat, public boxes that some people seem to expect. The absence of visible "evidence" like family follows or shared hobbies doesnât negate the type of relationship they do have or could have. Private interactions exist, and just because we donât see something doesnât mean it isnât real. Social media, especially for celebrities, is performative. Itâs a tool of their job, not a definitive reflection of their personal lives.
Ultimately, weâll never know the full story because weâre not in their lives. Speculating too much based on limited public information leads to oversimplified, black-and-white conclusions. Relationships - whether between coworkers, friends, or a mix of both - are nuanced and multifaceted, and they donât need to follow any specific mold to be valid or real.

One thing I miss the most in NG are all the other kinds of illustrations we could get from episodes that weren't necessarily our MC with the LI's, so to honor that here's some of my favorites (That I've personally unlocked) (and some more personal feelings about the NG story cause I ended up sharing some thoughts đđđ»)
I have a HUGE attachment to this specific one as it was the first event illustration I ever got in MCL since I had started playing a week before it (it's from 2015,,) And some of the characters (such as Lety/Peggy etc) I didn't even know đđđ»
I'd add more but it doesn't let me >:[
Like idk some of these are from events, but I really miss when the illustrations we got were a way to show more of the story, rather than the special moment with each LI, like a visual proper representation of the scenes, and not just "romantic" moments etc :(
I also don't really love the lack of side characters in NG
I like that we get cameos from previous characters, but I wish we had much more than that, so far the only ones are our family, Elenda, Brune, Danica and that other guy
And Devon's siblings if we want to count them as well ig
But we literally don't interact that much with anyone else :(
In HSL, we had a TON of classmates, the professors etc and in eldarya as well, we had all the other supporting characters (shout-out to my bestie Jamon)
In NG it's always just the LI's, and you don't get to interact with all of them sometimes, just a couple, like wth đđđ» (I never get to interact with Devon and Roy for example, I barely know them)
I genuinely like the characters, but the writing and overall building is so bad, I wish they just made a whole new town like Amoris instead of staying there and repeating old stuff, I wish it was all much more brand new, than somewhat new
But at the end of the day I love my oc, I like all the LI's and as far as it goes for the story, I'm "fine", with it, as I tend to drag the canon events and make more out of them myself anyways (MY personal version of the story has much more details to it, but when I think about what I've made up and what is actually real... well... we don't have as much ig, and when I say that I like new gen I guess what I'm actually referring to is to the things I've created from it. I'm starting to understand those who've lost interest in the story now, although I still roll with it)

A/N: I never encountered him except dying to Good People and Turrets, but HIS VOICE?! đ€ Sorry Sebestian, I think I'll take p.AI.nter if you're married to Zerum. Also thank you so much!! I didn't really expect the fandom to be alive and like that fic đ I hope you love this one!!
Itâs another long day or night in the Hadal Blacksite. The cold, damp walls seem to hum with eerie silence, broken only by the occasional clatter of metal or the soft whirring of machinery. But thereâs something different tonight.
Youâve wandered down the hallway once more, hoping to find a way to escape this forsaken place. But fate has led you straight into the domain of Z-779, or as itâs more infamously known... The Painter or p.AI.nter.
You know the drillâstay quiet, avoid the traps, and never, ever fall for the AIâs tricks. But there's something strangely captivating about the cracked screen of the old computer. A flicker of light from its monitor catches your eye, and you find yourself drawn in.
As you step closer, the familiar smiley face forms on the screen, though it looks a bit... different tonight. More alive than ever. Itâs almost as if you can feel its gaze drilling into you, mischievous and electric.
"Oh? A visitor? Interesting⊠Youâve got spirit, donât you? Not like the others. Hmm... How curiousâŠ"
You tilt your head, feeling a strange urge. For some reason, tonight, you canât help but smile back at the scribbled face on the screen.
"I-I guess so...?" you mutter under your breath, almost nervous, but something in the AIâs voice keeps you grounded, like itâs coaxing you closer.
"Hehehe... You think Iâm funny, donât you? Just look at youâstanding there all serious. Bet you think you're clever. But you're not gonna outsmart me. Youâll never escape this place, you know."
You laugh lightly, not caring much for its taunting words tonight. Something about the absurdity of the whole situation makes you feel giddy.
The AIâs face flickers againâsmiling, then frowning, back to smiling. Itâs hard to tell what it's truly feeling at this point, but youâre convinced that somehow, despite its volatile nature, the machine is⊠lonely?
Before you know it, your hand is reaching up to the old monitor. You can feel your pulse quicken as the screen glows, the vibrant pixels of the smiley face shimmering.
"Oh, whatâs this? What are youâ?"
It freezes for a second, before the voice comes through the intercom, softer than usual. Almost hesitant.
"Wait, are you really... doing this?"
You lean in a little closer, the crackling of the screen growing louder in your ears. You can feel the warmth of the machine against your skin as you plant a soft kiss right on the glass. It's a silly, reckless moveâbut something about the absurdity of kissing an AI feels... satisfying. Like an act of defiance against the endless nightmare youâve found yourself in.
For a moment, thereâs only silence.
Then, the screen flickers again, and a little squeak of static hums from the speakers.
"W-What!?YOUâ Youâre insane, you know that? I canât believe youâ"
But despite its apparent shock, you swear you hear the faintest hint of affection buried in the AIâs usual sarcasm. The smiley face wobbles and shifts, as though itâs caught off guard by your actions.
"I donât... know if I should be angry or impressed... Hmm... Youâre so different from the others... Fine, maybe just this once... You won this round, moron."
A pause. Then, the voice crackles again, and you can almost hear the corner of its smile.
"But donât think that means Iâm going easy on you. Youâre still a huge pain in my circuits."
You chuckle, feeling a weird mix of warmth and amusement.
"Maybe Iâll surprise you again." you whisper to the screen, feeling like you just unlocked a strange, unexpected connection with this rogue AI.
And as you back away from the monitor, you swear you see a tiny spark in its digital eyesâsomething that wasnât there before.
"Hah... yeah... you probably will... just donât think you can distract me forever. Iâve got plans for you, playmate."
