Okay I got Curious and was wondering what day the cast found out about Ian and Anthony buying Smosh. And here’s what I figured out.

The Demon skit was filmed on the first on June(which we know from the Directors slate in the BTS) and we know that by then the cast did not know about them buying it. Now the robbery video was filmed on the 13th(Which we know again from the slates in the BTS video) We know the cast did know by then bc we know that Josh and Erin were on set for that skit. That gives us a general span of time for them to learn.

Now in today's Smoshcast Shayne mentioned that they told the cast about them buying Smosh 3 days before the Reddit stories video with Ian and Anthony was recorded. That was recorded on a Friday. Which means it was announced on a Tuesday. Now in the span of 1st - 13th. There is one Tuesday it could be. The 6th

reminder to myself and whoever else needs it to stop feeding the machine. I'm aware I'm yelling into the void but look at the past couple years of games. They're pushing $70, $80, $100!!! for games that are completely unfinished, unpolished, and sometimes completely unplayable. Yes the game showcases were cool. The doom game looks sick and I don't even go there, but they're shaking the shiny keys to distract you and get you swept up in the hype. They're going to push so much fomo marketing to get you to jump for it full price.

Wait for sales. Wait and buy a used copy. Hell, wait a couple days (even hours!!!) after launch and reviews and breakdowns will start coming out. Our game backlogs are already packed, and mr big AAA studio can deal with some of us waiting to see if they actually delivered what was promised.

About that one Mr mime card where they're playing imaginary chess, do you think it could be a test of strength for them? Not only do they have to stay focused on the charade for however long the game lasts they also have to correctly envision the amount of squares on the board, remember the positions of their own pieces and their opponents pieces, and know the actual rules of chess, WHILE nothing is actually there. There are no chairs there is no board and the pieces don't exist. It all comes down to who can pretend better
