So I went into this on the original post but I think it's time to come out and say it for everyone: The Ten Commandments, at least as taught to Christians, are TERRIBLE as a moral guideline.

Disclaimer: I'm talking here about Christianity, because we get taught these rules as children as an end-all be-all set rather than part of the whole book. And it's Christian politicians who think they should be posted in schools and courthouses. I know that Jewish people have a lot more context to this stuff.

In a list of rules, generally the most important rule is the first. And the first here is "I am the Lord thy God, you shall have no other gods before me." That one goes ABOVE "Don't murder."

That's right, "You are all MY bitches and don't be looking at other gods" is Number One. Above "Don't murder."

Further down the list we have TWO commandments about FEELING envious of your neighbor. One of them explicitly says not to covet your neighbors slaves. There is no commandment that says "Don't have slaves."

There is also no commandment that prohibits cannibalism, and you can bet if Zeus put out 10 Rules for Morality there'd be a prohibition on cannibalism. Jewish people have tons of food laws, granted, which come after this stuff so they have that covered but most Christian churches just read or post this top ten list and go on... and there's nothing in this about ethical eating, let alone not eating other people.

It also states to "Honor thy mother and thy father" with no qualifications on what thy mother and thy father are doing, and some people's parents get up to some real bullshit and tell their kids to do so. So basically, if your parents are cannibals, there is NOTHING in the 10 Commandments that permits you to stop them from cannibalizing. And people call THIS god more moral than Zeus, who specifically stopped his father from doing more cannibalism!

"Oh but we look down on Zeus because we believe in consent!" Except there's no prohibition against sexual assault. The only prohibition against sexual anything is a prohibition against adultery, which occurs between two consenting adults, so we have a really fucked up view on sexual morality here too.

There is nothing telling you not to perform non-sexual assault, this god was fine with hitting your neighbor in the face as long as you weren't coveting him or lying about him.

We also have some stuff against stealing, so property crimes are covered but not most crimes that physically hurt people.

Having one holy day a week, and not making any idols of gods makes the list, above "Don't murder" and "Don't murder" is the LOW bar for moral guidelines.

And I'd like to give a special shoutout to "Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain" which many Christians take to mean "Don't say gawddammit" which is an ESPECIALLY stupid rule to put in the top ten what the hell. It's better when it's seen as a prohibition against false oaths, but combined with adultery and false witness against your neighbor that makes THREE commandments about oathbreaking and not one about slavery, rape or cannibalism and I'm sorry it's just not a good ""How to be a good person" list.

And it's not "Well, that's the time and this is historical and--" blah blah blah or else there'd be SOMETHING about not eating people, which they knew not to do then. And it would have some caveats on honoring your parents because they knew you might have shitty parents back then. And there'd be less emphasis on morally neutral cultural specifics like who you worship or taking a day off.

akjdwiga okay so i don't have a name for her yet but i'm gonna call her manti for this because she's a manticore-

when manti would first show up in the story, she'd be in the cookies of darkness, one of the few cookies that could legitimately rival pomegranate's loyalty to dark enchantress, with manti's loyalty being about as blind as pure vanilla or dark choco

and her devotion is to like, cultish levels in the worst way possible if i'm gonna be honest- think catnap and the prototype dynamic, or in other words; de had saved manti from the brink of death when everyone else had left her behind, that spawned a false/one-sided feeling of love from manti, alongside idolization, and boy oh boy did dark enchantress decide to use that to her advantage

manti would be a good foot taller than de so she'd always be like leaning over or kneeling to be lower than her, to be able to look up at her "savior", girl was constantly feeding into de's ego at all times unknowingly

during her time with the cookies of darkness she was NOT in good physical condition, be it because of de making sure she won't be able to fight back when she's no longer useful and needs to be disposed, or simply because she kept forgetting about all the important stuff to her health outside of eating and drinking enough to get by

i imagine she'd have her own entire chapter where the story crew go around chasing after her and whatever hellfire she creates in de's name, trying to explain to her that de is really bad, and especially seems to be bad for her looking at her current state

throughout the entire chapter she's constantly trying to brush them off but as things go on she gets progressively more distressed, like she's seeing their points and realizing that yes de does this stuff and yes it does have this effect but she's also trying to reason with herself that it's just because de wants to keep her safe, that de does feel the same for her she just expresses it differently

nearer to the end of the chapter de does actually like show up, manti ends up collapsing onto her knees in front of de after being beaten the living shit out of by gingerbrave and the others (very much against their will they did not wanna fight her), looking up at de and frantically asking de if what the story crew said was true, asking if she truly loved her or if she was just toying with her

"Please...my dear, you love me, right?...They're- they're wrong, aren't they?..."

"Of course...I will, always, love you-" as de says this she's raising one of her hands, with whatever cake monster she summoned behind her, and she goes to slash down at manti's face

the slash does end up connecting, but gingerbrave tackles manti out of the way of the cake monster's mimicking slash, which would have ended up yeeting her into a wall and probably killing her- the moment manti manages to lift her head, her own jam is spilling from the claw marks on her face, and her eyes are practically waterfalls with tears as she stares at de with her cake monster, realizing that the story crew were completely right

she ends up just kinda sitting there in silence while the story crew take care of de about as efficiently as they always do, and when the fight is over, gingerbrave goes to check on her, sitting with her while the others get bandages for her wounds

"...Hey, I'll be honest, you did some messed up stuff, but you did it because you cared about her, right? You wanted to help."

"...I'm a monster..."

"Don't think like that! You were manipulated by someone that had helped you at your lowest point! Of course you were so loyal to her!"

"...I killed people, for her...don't you think I'm evil?..."

"I'd kill for my friend if I had to, even if you didn't know you had to do it to survive, you did. Yeah, you're messed up, but evil? No. Never. Maybe misguided though!"

"...Heh, you're rather optimistic one, aren't you?..."

"Of course!"

"...Thank you, Gingerbrave..." after that conversation strawberry and wizard help to patch her up, with little custard doing his best to hype her up as well, and then they go their separate ways, with manti promising to pay them a visit once she's done some self-reflecting and gotten a bit better physically

that then leads into a side story within the crème republic where she meets oyster and healing yuri ensues <3

manti's relationship with oyster ends up a very long slow burn because manti keeps telling herself that she's just delusional, she doesn't actually feel these ways about oyster, meanwhile oyster is mentally screaming because "oh my god massive lion woman help what do i do AAAAA"

they meet in a similar but far less severe way than manti and de, with manti having tripped on a pebble or smth and scraped her knee as Oyster was passing by, and Oyster being the extrovert she probably is, went over to help her up and noticed how in shambles Manti looked, because by then she was still recovering and hadn't exactly set herself up with a stable income, so food was somewhat scarce

Manti is feeling butterflies the entire time as Oyster helps her up and then offers her a place to stay until she can properly get on her feet after a little bit of explaining about her situation, but she ends up pushing down those butterflies as much as possible, trying not to let them fester and grow into anything because of what happened last time she loved someone for helping her, which is a far more severe case than would be considered normal

So for like a few months Manti is just living with Oyster trying to adjust to a more normal life, heal, and get herself a job, and she ends up getting a job at a bakery after a little while! She's getting better a bit faster with having something to occupy her mind, but she's also still on the fence about Oyster, unsure if she should trust her or not (later decides she's fine to trust after a particularly bad day where she spills everything in a fit and the next day Oyster acts as if not a thing happened, going as far as to say she doesn't know what she's talking about, because Oyster knows she has no business butting into other people's trauma if they don't wanna talk about it), meanwhile Oyster is in absolute pining central watching Manti's growth as a person like "oh she is so beautiful" and those thoughts getting Oyster progressively more smiley at Manti as she gets healthier and more social

it's probably a year or two later before Manti finally acknowledges that no these feelings for Oyster are not just flukes, they aren't seeds for her own destruction, she does actually feel this way, but it ends up being another half a year before she says or does anything out of fear, Oyster is completely patient with it though, more than willing to let Manti take her time and adjust to the idea of a proper relationship

it ends up being around the 4 year mark of them knowing each other that Manti finally opens up, explains absolutely everything in a moment of proper calm, and then they go on their first date and the other elders finally get a break from Oyster's ranting about her not yet girlfriend girlfriend

Manti's true proper colors are out by that time, absolute sweet heart with of course some trauma and maybe some flavor of neurodivergent, but either way she's a gentle giant and strong af too now that she's eating well and getting to work out more (working at a bakery is a work out in it of itself), so big buff lion wife Oyster's beloved (and mine too)

In between that time she does go to check on the story crew, and they hardly recognize her until they hear her voice, and then they're all immediately super excited to see her and are showering her with compliments telling her how proud they are that she's doing better, chili even getting in on the pride train with a little compliment or two

alright i think that's all my rambling- for now at least, glad to finally get those words out onto something-

America (as a nation, as a set of controlled systems/institutions) cannot stop (or is unwilling to prevent, not sufficiently motivated) HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS, basically a million Children for disappearing, going missing every single year. America (as a nation, as a set of controlled systems/institutions) is not stopping their own babies from being murdered to profit the medical mafia.

IF YOU IMAGINE that you can build ANY kind of meaningful goodness, virtue, or blessing ON TOP OF THIS , then you are smoking some potent spiritual CRACK. You're in delusion and disconnected from fundamental realities. If there is no "Fear of the Lord" then the foundation for valuing human life is eroded, up for grabs, or negotiable.

God says that America started so good and ended so badly. Yes, I know there were occultists and Mason occultists woven into the founding fathers. But when the Puritans were SERIOUS and mad a COVENANT with God, God listened and took it seriously! Parts of America PRETEND to hate slavery, but then shop at WalMart which EMBRACES slave labor. And do secret sex slavery in every city. We have so many WILLFUL blindness, and more contradiction. We only have the corruption that we TOLERATE or are unwilling to address and get serious/firm about!

We have churches that LOOK all virtuous, but are they? Are they going door-to-door in their own communities praying WITH THE POWER OF GOD, against poverty, disease, broken relationships, against Fatherlessness, etc. If they are not doing this, they are severely out of alignment with the Kingdom of God. Are they effective CHANGE AGENTS at the family level, the community level? Without this, the rest of the CONSTRUCT of America is a facade, full of meaningless virtue signaling. We will never be great when, in reality, our highest commitments are all SELFISH. God did want to use America as a world example against the idol worship, the godlessness, and the corruption in so many other nations. But we are CORRUPTION-FRIENDLY. We are the FORM of religion, without the GOD POWER to be unselfish and loving.

God cannot and will not bless structures that are from the Kingdom of Darkness. Pretend goodness never fools God. American worships money and elevated lifestyles, not heroic love. We cannot clean up anything without a RIGHT HEART as the foundation. So forget about the political circus, and its endless lies and peacock posturing, full of fancy PLUMAGE but no fierce commitment to purity and truth. We are a mess. We as a nation LIE to ourselves, let alone the other nations. Stating these facts is not to hate on America; this is to hate on what is evil in any nation, but not to SUBSCRIBE TO FALSE SOLUTIONS. So many GOOD LOOKING things our there are full of semi-covert and fully-covert agendas.

Pray for a heart of wisdom, discernment and understanding. And pray for a heart without guile, and sincere love. Love is willing to do what is INCONVENIENT in order to bless those around it. There is nothing worth participating in or having in America, without this foundation.

America has a serious addiction… to many things, but I'm thinking of its addiction to PREMATURE SELF-CONGRATULATION. Let's be in reality. Let's not be teamed up with situations designed to look good, sound good, but lack God's selfless love. You are judged by your heart. Choose wisely. Pray fervently.

Admit the contradictions, the hypocrisies and the shortcoming that each of us have and deal with - so that we can be honest, be in reality, and welcome in God's power to save. God can work with your honesty, but never with pride.

Now, the subject I'm going to discuss might be a little delicate, but it needs to be said. But it's important to understand these three points.

I DON'T HATE JENNIE (Please, she's so kind, how can you?)

Although Jennie is of legal age and free to act as she pleases, it is always preferable to use caution when acting in front of others.

She could not have understood that her activities could not be done in front of the public; they were only blunders.

People are considering not attending Jennie's concerts due to the unmet expectations surrounding their shows due to recent claims that she is a lethargic dancer. However, even the females are only human, and none is flawless.

Let's be honest; no human being is flawless, and that is what unites us all. And Coachella 2019 was the most significant performance (before to the BP global tour). The girls had to have required some time to acclimatize as it had been a good three years since then.

As of right now, a video of Jennie dancing has been going around the internet. She was spotted "lazy dancing" throughout the last half of the dance.

She routinely danced with the other group members, but by the conclusion of the performance, it was obvious that she was having trouble keeping up with the choreography.

The allegations of her twerking were simply false since Jennie must not have understood that it is not permitted to do so in public. Let's be honest, how would you feel if ANY IDOL (male or female) twerked at a performance that families had a good possibility of attending?

Additionally, Jennie didn't engage in any "lazy dancing" or wear shorts during their most recent show. I believe that a staff person or another individual ultimately informed Jennie that Asia did not really support it if a lady or guy twerked on stage in front of the people.

On a random Thursday in December I re-realized I was going to die. I first fully realized my mortality when I was 13, which led to me believing I could communicate our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through spotify shuffle and attempted to meet him in aisle 7 of the sainsburys local down the street. Of course, i didn't find Jesus there, but a month later i my knee did spontaneously break which I then believed to be a sign from god to stop with the false idol stuff. i went to hospital to get my knee sorted (which took a full 8 months!) which led to me being put on anti-depressants because I'd moved onto the sad emo phase of being a teenager. and for the next five years I wasn't plagued by any thoughts of death. or any thoughts whatsoever, if I'm being honest. ...Buut now i'm 18 and the thoughts are back…accompanied by the all-consuming fear that i wasted my teen years because of my broken knee followed by covid really putting a damper on the whole teen experience. I think the whole reason im back im my embarrasing mania-depression spiral era is because i kept forgetting to take my meds at uni which led to many-a-misadventure such as me accidentelly getting high on the beach and crying in some random crackhead's arms. but staying on meds all the time is boring boring boring because i just feel numb and its fucked me up hormanally or something because I dont want to have sex and wanking is kind of just a chore that i do to fit in with my friends. and they dont even work sometimes! i still feel sad a lot especially when its dark and dull like it is in the winter. so to say fuck you to the thoughts of me wasting my life and ending up being dead and forgotten ive decided to create a 2023 bucket list! i aim to complete so i don't waste my teen years, and become a person so memorable that my death will hit the news. so memorable that when aliens come to earth in like a thousand years on an archaeological dig they decide to resurrect me for their cultural studies program with their sci-fi ressurection powers. me and beyonce of course. and maybe shakespeare? though they could probs just ask me or beyonce about shakespeare and get the jist of his whole thing. Ok so this is the third time that I'm sending you an ask tonight. (or is it night time in your country?) I'm being annoying right now but whatever. So I've been cackling about those salt fics you wrote because they are just amazing. I have a request, though it is up to you to write it or not. So, can you write a salt fic where someone got an interview with Ladybug (probably Aurore) and then they ask her why they replaced the old heroes like Rena Rouge, Carapace and etc. and LB is just like I don't work with dumb shits or somethin'. Then there is also a new Black Cat (Probably Luka, Felix, or Damian) because Adrien here is an asshole and this fic is saltier than salt water. Then LB also insults Alya's blog and their school. Those foolish mortals get some lawsuits and the rest is up to you. (This request is probably messed up since it's already midnight here and I can't sleep.)

A one on one interview with Ladybug was basically unheard of if you weren't the Ladyblog or Nadja Chadwick. Ladybug had made it firm that she wasn't a celebrity, she was a hero. She wasn't there for clout, for attention, for fame or fortune. She just wanted to keep Paris safe.

That's was Aurore admired about her. And why she felt queasy as she sat across from the heroine, who had given her of all people an interview. But she got ahold of herself, taking deep breaths as the cameraman began counting down. And when he hit 'one', she put on her best smile and straightened in her seat.

"Hello Paris! Welcome back to 'Latest Buzz'! I am your lovable host, Aurore Beauréal. Today I am here with a very, very special guest, our very own heroine of Paris; Ladybug!"

Ladybug beamed right at the camera, but gave a shy little wave, giving away the nerves she obviously had.

"Now, Ladybug, I'm so glad you requested to be on the show. You know, I initially thought I had misheard when Estelle told me. Usually you're not big on personal interviews." Aurore gave her full attention to Ladybug, but keeping the bright, friendly smile and perfect posture.

"Well, I tried a few times actually. But when I did, none of them were really great experiences." Ladybug admitted and both girls immediately thought of that disastrous Face-to-Face interview. It left a bitter taste in their mouths. "My issue is that misinformation has been spread around a lot recently. It's made me realize that I need to find more trustworthy sources."

"Ladybug. I vow on my integrity as a host and Estelle's reputation as a journalist that we are people who research facts. We don't ambush our guests, we respect them." She said, placing a hand on her heart. Ladybug saw an honesty in her eyes that she hadn't seen in such a long time. It honestly made her feel.. Respected. "Now, Ladybug.. We both know you have a lot of fans. A lot of admirers. False information can be spread so easily these days, which sources specifically are you telling people to avoid?"

"Well.. With Face-to-Face, I found that I was entirely ambushed in that interview. I wanted to speak about my hero work, but instead Nadja kept trying to needle her way into my personal life. That picture she had shown in largely out of context; when Dark Cupid attacked and Chat Noir was under his spell, it was the only way to get him free."

"Yes, I remember watching that. I'll be honest Ladybug, I felt bad for you." Aurore bit her lip, but smiled a bit when Ladybug nodded. "I mean, Chat Noir wasn't helping either. He seemed to be trying to push this narrative forward that you two are a couple."

"And we're not!" Ladybug burst out before she could stop herself. Everyone in that studio could hear the utter stress and frustration in her voice. "I've begged and begged Chat Noir to stop with the flirting, the 'telling people we're dating', everything! I just wanted him to focus and he couldn't seem to do that!"

"Is that why you replaced him? Because of his slacking off and refusing to take anything seriously?" Aurora sat up an bit straighter, her eyes going wide.

".. Not exactly, no. It was a bunch of issues that eventually piled up and boiled over." Ladybug made some gestures with her hands, trying her hardest to find the words but just letting out a long and pained sigh in the end. "I do enjoy my new partner now. He is more serious, more stable. I know he won't go off and pout if I deny something he wanted. I needed an entirely new team, as a matter of fact."

"Well I am going to say, on behalf of everyone here, that we're glad. We swear on our integrity as journalists that if such rumours were to ever surface again, we will do our proper research." Aurore beamed and many of the staff and crew behind the cameras nodded and gave Ladybug their thumbs up. Honestly, it warmed Ladybug's heart to see such support.

When had been the last time someone had supported her like this? Sure, her parents supported her, but her friends..? Her peers? No, none of them had supported her in a long time.

"Speaking of research, I'd say to stay away from the Ladyblog." It burned to say it but it had to be said. Alya had crossed so many lines it wasn't even forgivable at this point. She had gone too far, had betrayed too many.

"Wait, what?" Aurore nearly jumped out of her seat but quickly composed herself, taking a deep breath. "Pardon me Ladybug, but the Ladyblog has been a vital source of information since the very beginning."

"And I'm not denying that!" Ladybug quickly held up her hands, her eyes desperate now. "But please let me explain. The Ladyblog was amazing in the beginning, but like all things, it started to go astray. It was things like trying so hard to find out my identity. Trying to push that narrative of that whole superhero couple thing.. Ladyblogger Alya Césaire has proven time and time again that she is not trustworthy. I mean, I thought she was my biggest fan. Why does she keep pushing my words aside?"

Many people who watched the interview would agree. If you idolized someone, respected someone, truly looked up to them.. Why would you push aside their words, their wishes to try and push the narrative you're so convinced is true, but isn't there?

"And don't get me started on the whole Lila Rossi craze she seemed to be on now." At Ladybug's mention of Lila Rossi, both Estelle and Aurore had to keep from rolling their eyes. They knew all about the girl.

"You speak as if you are quite frustrated, Ladybug. What an odd reaction to your best friend." Aurore leaned forward a bit in her seat. Everyone else got to the edge of theirs. Ladybug only shook her head, looking utterly defeated.

"That's the thing, she isn't my best friend." It took everything to keep from satin that she hated her, that she had taken away her friends and her life. "The only times she's met Ladybug is when she's been akumatized, which has been around six or seven times at this point. And the other things she's claiming are so outlandish! Saving Jagged Stone's kitten from a airport runway? Clara Nightengale stealing her dance moves? And the Ladyblog just posts it out there, claiming every single story is true. I'm just scared that people are taking this one hundred percent seriously. That's why I had to drop Rena Rouge and Carapace from the team as they believed Lila Rossi over me. They didn't even try to confirm these rumours! And it hurts to think that one day, someone will take Lila's words seriously and get hurt. What if she says it's safe to dip strawberries in bleach? Or tells someone that she found a way to tame some kind of wild animal? Someone would get hurt because they believe her story and try it out for themselves!"

"My goodness, I can definitely see how that is a problem. Misinformation is very easy to spread thanks to the internet, so you being worried is a very relatable thing." Aurore nodded, then tilted her head ever so slightly. "Ladybug, do you know anyone who has taken her word seriously? This is besides the Ladyblog of course."

Ladybug closed her eyes briefly, mentally debating with herself before finally giving in. These things needed to be said.

"Collège François DuPont. Now I wasn't there personally, but I heard about this situation and looked into it. The entire situation was appalling. Apparently a student was found to have cheated, assaulted another student, and commited thievery. But the thing that stuck out is only one person saw her do all of these things; Lila Rossi. No investigation was done, no questioning other students. This student was then expelled immediately. Her teacher and her principal didn't even give her a chance. And from what people have been saying, Miss Rossi's behaviour is actively encouraged in that school. She misses countless days, no, months of school, claiming she's traveling. But when she was supposedly in Achu, doing whatever it was she was claiming with Prince Ali, I was fighting her akuma here in Paris on Heroes Day!"

"I was at school the day that happened. I knew the student that happened to. They're the nicest person in that school! Never a bad thing to say about anyone, always willing to help! I agree with you on how things were handled, it's a level of incompetence that is baffling." Aurore's hands slowly curled into fists as she remembered it all. She slowly shook her head. "The principal, their teacher, their class who backed up Rossi. It must have hurt them so much, made them feel so alone."

"That's why I want people to be more careful with what information they take as fact. It's so important, because stuff like that can lead people to a desperate place. They feel alone, like the entire world is against them. I wouldn't have let the principal and the teacher get away with that gross negligence in their jobs." Ladybug leveled her gaze directly to the camera. "People of Paris, please listen to what I am saying. I am here to be a hero, to protect you from the terror of Hawkmoth and to defeat him. But please, do not be like Principal Damocles, do not be like that teacher and her class at DuPont. Do your research, look up your facts. The interview rocked Paris. Ladybug speaking so openly about her frustrations, about the discrepancies in the Ladyblog and Lila Rossi had many people double checking the sources of everything they learned from that blog.

Alya could barely show her face as she made her way though the school hallways. Her reputation as a journalist had gone down the drain. People had basically started boycotting her blog, harrassing her, or trash talking her on other forums and sites. Even a lot of news outlets picked this up.

What hurt the most from that interview last night was Ladybug's words towards her, both as Rena Rouge and as Alya. Surely the heroine had to be mistaken, she had never beytrayed Ladybug! And that Oblivio incident, it was just to show Chat Noir and Ladybug that they were meant to be together!

Her family was upset with her. No, upset was too tame of a word. They were pissed.

"I can't believe she lied to us.."

"Well what do you expect from someone who keeps harrassing Ladybug?"

Alya flinched when she heard the whispers and rushed into Miss Buster's class. The entire class was there, all seated, all looking utterly miserable. Many of them looked as if they had been crying all night. A lot like she had.

"W-where's Miss Bustier?" Alya asked when she eyed the empty desk. Many of her classmates shot her glares, but didn't say anything about the interview last night. After all, they had no room to talk.

"She and Principal Damocles are with the school board now. We're getting a new teacher." Adrien was the one that spoke up. He looked utterly miserable. So unlike his usual self.

"Lila isn't coming back. She was pulled from school when her mother found out what happened." Alix muttered from her seat, arms crossed and shoulders hunched.

The class went quiet as they all internally contemplated how things had gotten like this. Their eyes focused on the door when it abruptly opened and Marinette came strolling in, carrying a box.

"Good morning everyone!" She said brightly, pretending not to notice the downcast expressions on their faces. She set the box on the teacher's desk before she turned towards them. "Oh? What's wrong everyone?"

".. Did you not watch the interview with Ladybug on 'Latest Buzz'?" Alya stared at Marinette, a bit dumbfounded by her friend's lack of awareness of the situation. She had been expecting Marinette to rush in with support and a fiery vengeance against those who had humiliated her best friend, maybe even a fresh pastry. But instead she was greeted with empty hands and a cheerful hello?

"Oh, well I haven't really had the time to watch much television. I mean, with my transfer papers, needing to plan out my new schedule with all of those new classes. Busy as a bee, that's me!" Marinette just beamed, giving Adrien a playful wink that had his stomach churning.

"Wait, transfering?" It was Rose that spoke up, her large eyes seeming impossibly large now. "Transfer what?"

"To my new school, of course." Marinette giggled and clasped her hands together. "I start on Monday."

"New school?!" Alya was on her feet and rushing towards Marinette. The others quickly followed, crowding around her. "What do you mean new school?! When did you ever say you were going to a new school?"

Marinette blinked, as if stunned, then tilted her head ever so slightly.

"I told you all last week, don't you remember?" Marinette tapped her lower lip, seeming to be wracking her brain before she abruptly snapped her fingers. "Oh! I forgot, you all were deep in conversation with Lila about her upcoming event with Jagged Stone and Clara Nightengale. You know, the one she said she'd be attending with Ladybug, since they're such good friends. Did she ever say how it went?"

All of the students shifted uneasily, suddenly seeming to refuse to meet her face.

Alix murmured something so barely audible, Marinette held a hand to her ear and leaned closer.

"I'm sorry, what was that?"

"Lila was lying to us!" Alix snapped as her cheeks went a flaming red.

"About everything! She never knew Jagged Stone!" Juleka spat out in fury.

"Or Prince Ali!" Rose sniffled.

"And she wasn't friends with Ladybug? They were barely acquaintances!" Alya wailed out as tears welled up in her eyes.

But Marinette hardly reacted the way they were expecting. She just gave them a small smile and nodded.

"Oh, yeah. I know."

Alya sucked in a breath sharply.

"You knew..? But why did you never..?"

"Oh Alya, you silly forgetful thing. I told you the day she returned from her long 'trip', remember? I told you she was lying." Marinette gave Alya a smile that said 'oh you silly thing'. "But you told me that I should really check my sources. And I got tired of trying to bring up any lies, since that was always your response. So I decided to just stop. I mean, since you're such an inspiring, honest journalist you must double and triple check every source you come across and found every story to be true!"

Alya flinched and looked away, feeling the churning feeling in her gut again. No, the Ladyblog had been the only source for the stories. The. Only. One.

"And I'm sure all of you knew what you were doing! I mean, it makes sense; trusting the words of a complete stranger over someone you've known for a while now. Some of you since we were in diapers!" She focused her gaze on Nino and Kim, who had the grace to at least look ashamed.

"Marinette, you really should-" Adrien began, reaching out for the girl, but was cut off by her clapping her hands together.

"But it's alright! I decided that fighting with you all wasn't worth it, so I took Adrien's advice and took the high road! Don't bother exposing Lila, she isn't hurting anyone!" Marinette announced brightly, giving her hands a little wave.

The temperature in the classroom dropped by several degrees.

".. Adrien, she's kidding, right?" Nino glanced over at his friend, his eyes pleading for him to deny it all. But the sight of the blood draining from the model's face and the sweat starting to bead at his forehead told him everything he needed to know. "Dude.."

"How could you?! You knew this entire time and didn't even try to tell me?!" Alya rounded on Adrien, fury in her eyes.

"Now, now, don't get mad at Adrien. I'm sure he knew you all were going to do you research. Besides, it's not like this did anything bad for anyone." Marinette pressed a hand to her cheek, still grinning. "I mean, it's not like you all took her advice without doing any research. You didn't try the things she suggested without actually checking them out to be true, right? No one lost any scholarships or job opportunities. No one's relationships were ruined. No one was hurt."

The nauseous feeling spread to all of the class as the reality of everything caught up with them.

"I'm sure everything will go back to normal, right? I mean, I'm sure that that woman from the education bureau isn't here to fire Damocles and Bustier for their severe neglect in their duties. Expelling me with the most mediocre and shaky proof. Surely that's a school I should feel safe in! That I should be proud to be a part of. But alas, my preparations for my new school are already done, so oh well."

Marinette shrugged and adjusted her purse strap.

"Anyhow, I wish you all luck with the amazing things Lila has helped you to do! I know it must have been worth ignoring me and convincing me I was crazy. With all of the free time I've had, with you guys practically replacing me with Lila in the group, I've had tons of time to spend with my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?!" Alya's eyes went owlishly wide as she gaped at Marinette. "But what about Adrien?!"

"Oh Alya, I fell out of love with Adrien forever ago." Marinette shook her head in an almost patronizing way that had Alya's cheeks burning with embarrassment. They didn't even pay attention to Adrien's noises of surprise. "I mean, you claimed I was jealous of Lila getting close to Adrien, that I should let the jealousy go. And you know what? You were right! So I decided Adrien wasn't worth the stress, the embarrassment.. I mean, I couldn't even talk to him straight. I thought he was the most perfect guy in the world! Goodness, did I learn my lesson!"

She giggled as if she found the entire thing amusing. She then beamed at the class.

"Well, ta-ta! I need to get back home and make sure everything is ready to go. I wish you all the best, I really do!"

They all watched, shellshocked as Marinette breezed out of the classroom like it was nothing. Like she wasn't leaving her friends, her school, her life behind. And they all would wonder exactly how badly they screwed up, if she could walk away do easily, without a care.

Are y'all sure this isn't some outrageous satirical series about delulu kpop stans and their fave idols?

Girl, I couldn't get past episode 1 of Secret Crush On You (I didn't even finish it). I was literally holding my pillow in front of my face the entire time 🙈. The only good thing about it was the cheerleading choreography, that was actually really good and well done and it lured me into a false sense of security before it suckerpunched me in the face with the whole can picking with the gloves and the stick scene 😭. I've heard people say it gets better after episode 1 but I was feeling attacked the entire time i was watching it and I'm not sure I want to watch more 😔😬.

I'll be honest, to me it doesn't really get better until like ep 4. And by better I mean that we learn that Nuea is very much into Toh's obsessive and stalkerish behavior. Toh's obsession doesn't really change as the eps go on. Even though he is actively spending more and more time with Nuea, he's still obsessing over him and taking items Nuea has touched.

So the cringe and embarrassment for some of his actions still continues on throughout the series, but then you'll start to see that Nuea is aware and enjoys seeing Toh's reaction to his presence. And then you'll get to see how Nuea kind of creates situations for them to be alone together because he does like Toh and being obsessed over, but not like in a sadistic or toxic way. It seems like curiosity and happiness that his feelings are being reciprocated tenfold, although it is in secrecy.

They are cute together in a very, very different way that I have only seen once and it's quite interesting to explore a couple that is different from the norm. Also the way these 2 are matching each other's horny energy is pretty great to see too. It's good to see that Nuea is just as gaga over Toh as Toh is for him even though they don't seem to belong to the same social group.

That's another thing I'm enjoying about the series. It's focusing a lot on image. Nuea and his friend group are popular on campus and Toh and his friend group aren't popular at all and to see these 2 groups merge into friendships and romantic relationships is a treat because we get to see characters dealing with doubt and insecurities constantly while characters on the other end are treated like celebs.

The 2nd pairing featuring Nuea's friend Sky and Toh's friend Jao and is dealing more with insecurities of body image because Jao is supposed to be the "fat friend" and he's very resistant on being together with Sky because of how it may appear to Sky's friends but Sky is really, really, really into Jao and he's trying hard to be together with him. So I'm excited to see how they go about getting together.

The 3rd pairing features Toh's friend Daisy who uses she/her pronouns and is very loud and flamboyant. She starts getting attention from another popular student named Intouch. Intouch seems genuinely interested and taken with Daisy. He addresses her properly and he just seems so sweet to her and I'm looking forward to this ship a lot.

really very few english speakers know who the fuck aira mitsuki is so here's a brief listening guide based entirely on my opinions

i'd go chronological as i suggest with literally every single artist just because my style is to start at their first album to see where they go with their sound and get a full picture. if you don't want to do that i'd start actually with the sayonara technopolis single/set and then move on to plastic if you liked it

copy: the first full album. there are two versions of it, i've only ever heard the 16 track version so that's all i can tell you about. it's kind of generic, as are most first albums released directly under a label as they want their artists to prove success before they allow them more creative freedoms. tracks on copy can range from okay to painfully mediocre. i don't really even recommend sitting through copy if you have something better to do if i'm being honest. listen to high bash, swallowtail dance, and definitely beep count fantastic. don't bother with the rest unless you feel like it.

plastic: listen to plastic it fucking RULES. like i said before it'll start out girly and cutesy (but FAR better than copy imo) and if you like girly and cutesy (i do!) you'll love it. then it'll punch you in the nose. sayonara technopolis is one of her best songs and it's for sure my favorite on the album, with the closer, re:†, coming in close for 2nd place (though it's really hard to decide and my opinions on these tracks change all the time. not on sayonara technopolis though. my baby girl sweet wonderful song

???: really really pulled back on production for this one, honestly i like the low(er)-fi sound and less polished mixing! this album really moreso benefits from its song composition. there are some really really nice tracks on here. i personally think these tracks work better as a unit on an album rather than on their own (though they do work on their own). one thing you'll find about aira's stuff is that it's A) very VGM inspired, and B) heavy on the bass as a main instrument, this album is a really good example of just how much emphasis is put on the bass instruments in a lot of aira's music. it's not my favorite thing in the entire world ever but i do think you should listen to it. shoutout to rainbow for how much it recycles from sayonara tech. i like that song a lot i don't know if it was clear. my favorite from ??? is actually probably love re:, though. this album does also do the right thing and completely shed the false pop idol persona of aira's previous works to just focus on being.. what it is. also did jin steal the progressions from the title track ??? on outer science? scholars remain divided

6 force: this ones an EP/mini album so you can skip if you want, not that groundbreaking really. if you do choose to give it a go, it's alright. it's basically a natural expansion of her sound up to that point. the track yellow submarine will always have a special place in my heart because i listened to it constantly when i was little, so that's probably my favorite, for good reason too because it actually rocks. only thing i can really strongly say is that uhhh good luck sitting through fake because it is seriously awful and not in a good way. it's like her only truly just bad bad bad song.

park of the safari: this is a collab album with saoridestiny and i think it works really really well. tracks like damage and last song feel very nostalgic and sweet. i feel like this is probably my second pick after plastic if you feel like going out of chronological order, with the third after this being ???. most of the tracks here range from really strong to "oh uhhh holy shit that's wonderful" in my opinion, with the exception of gate or exit and theme of safari, which are the obligatory "why'd they do it like that" tracks. so. play it on the aux for your friends, nobody's ever heard this one ever, especially animal daydream, which may be a very early vapor-subgenre track now that i think about it (unintentionally of course)

i'll be back: look i'll keep it real with you, i have no fucking idea where you find this outside of apple music. i've heard maybe 2 tracks off of it. is it worth it? no actually i don't think so. unless there's a hidden gem on here, i'd skip it, with the exception of butterfly, which is good. i just don't know if i'd listen to all of i'll be back for it it.

pyramidal: aira's most recent work as well as her comeback. not every song on here works, but i was pleasantly surprised! some of the tracks on here are a little on the generic side, though. my rule is basically if i would hear it on a commercial for an app it's too generic. plenty of listening and re-listening value here, though, and i think it's one of her stronger releases if not her most conventional to-date.

if you choose to listen to other works of hers like aira's science CD and whatnot, i'd do that last if not chronological, since they're harder to find. i'm not an enormous aira fan, but some of her work is really worth at least one full listen and her music influenced me a lot as a little kid. godspeed and happy listening.

Love that you're being vocal and defending ot4s so well here, I just wanted to add something to that ask wondering whether the other members knew stuff etc: I don't think anon meant this as an attack and even if they did, there is some truth and good advice in them saying "we don't know" because at the end of the day we truly don't. We don't know these men. Of course it makes more sense to give the four the benefit of the doubt that they would not be okay with something we find so horrible, but I think bs has made it hard for a lot of fans to give any idol that kind of trust ever again. I think that's valid. Your stance is as well, don't get me wrong. I just think it's important to remain at a healthy distance to our idols. So we won't end up like the ot5s if something were to happen or come out. How distant you choose to remain is subjective. If anon doesn't feel comfortable trusting the members anymore and that doesn't have to be a bad thing as long as they remain peaceful and kind about it. I had the impression that the ask came off rude perhaps with the way they worded it. If that’s the case then my mistake in return. hard at times to determine the tone sometimes in these questions. We are pretty close to being aware no one else knowing just seungri and his gang with the involved non-idol businessmen. We can’t always focus on the ‘what ifs’ making us worried daily. If they happen to be then it will come out one day, just like if the other members from FT Island, CN Blue, Highlight, Hyoyeon herself, and even other idols who were friends with Seungri were invoked. The chance is pretty low if I’ll be honest.

The actor has also described her doomed attempts to merge into the background as a student at an American university, where she found herself being trailed everywhere by British photographers. After the recent New York premiere of Noah, she tweeted a photograph of the array of cosmetics – and a guardian angel pin – that she said were essential aids to her flawless appearance, and another of herself in a backless dress captioned: "I did NOT wake up like this." The actress said she is better at taking criticism these days than she once was. "As a younger woman, that pressure got me down, but I've made my peace with it. With airbrushing and digital manipulation, fashion can project an unobtainable image that's dangerously unhealthy. I'm excited about the ageing process. I'm more interested in women who aren't perfect. They're more compelling." Watson became famous playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies and has been constantly in work since. She is about to start filming a thriller, Regression, by Alejandro Amenábar and is also trying to complete her degree at Brown University, Rhode Island. She enrolled in 2009 for what would have been a four year course, but has taken several breaks for film work, and spent a year studying at Oxford. "After Harry Potter, all that mattered was university," she said, in an interview with the Sunday Times. "It wasn't always easy to break down barriers, as having men from the British press following me with cameras didn't help my mission to integrate. GUARDIAN COMMENTERS SAY: So something like this Burberry campaign she did a few years ago? Hypocrisy at its finest. She flaunts with the fashion industry and enjoys its perks all the time, but hops on the 'female beauty' bandwagon and enjoys a moan when it suits her. I'd find her socially conscientious pleas convincing if she hadn't profited in the hundreds of thousands (if not millions) from the big, bad, evil fashion/beauty industry. A few years ago, Emma Watson appeared in high-profile advertising companies for posh Paris fashion house L'ancome. I'm guessing she was handsomely remunerated for her 'work'. Certainly she was not forced into letting her photo shopped image be used to market expensive cosmetics and perfumes. Did she only discover how 'oppressive' the fashion industry is when L'ancome cancelled her lucrative contract? Ms Watson is essentially a third-rate actress, and her pronouncements on large and complex issues, such as the pressures on women, are so idiotically vapid that one is brought to conclude that she really can have very little aptitude for higher education. I mean, her comments are hardly indicative of an educated person, or even of a moderately literate or intelligent person. By the way, I understand that she spent a year at Oxford as a visiting and/or exchange student while enrolled at Brown. How come? She is a British national, and so by rights she should not have gone to Oxford on a visiting/exchange student programme, irrespective of whether she happens a student at an American university. If I am wrong about this, then I should like to have some explanation as to her status at Oxford, and how she came by it. Otherwise, I suppose that one might be forgiven for thinking that it is yet another case of a once respectable academic institutions bowing down before the false idols of celebrity and money. (This is quite apart from the fact that all that one has read about her since she began life as a student concerns her acting career, her modeling and her various boyfriends.) Here's what I think As for what she is saying about Brown it's a complete 180 from how she described it before 2013. In 2013 she started to elude to the fact it was not as great as she made it out to be. She gushed how wonderful her experiences had been to so many magazines. Now I think she's looking for pity and to have excuses why she never stayed at Brown. She preached how she was staying put. I am so fucking tired of having to post quote after quote proving my point with this when she lies time after time. She is not honest! What the truth is doesn't matter because she always lying. It's a constant thing with her. As for the pressures on women she is really a piece of work. The guardian commenters summed it up nicely. She had no problem attaching herself to Burberry and Lancôme. She's had no problem giving them praise and talking about fashion and make-up in just about every interview. That part where she talked about photo shopping and air brushing. Just wow! Did she see the Wonderland magazine she edited? Some photos it didn't even look like her. She'll continue allowing her image to be manipulated no matter what. She thinks she’s aging? She still looks 15 without all the make-up and photo shopping. Last year she was stopped at JFK because they thought she was a unaccompanied minor. Did you know one of the product she pushed when modeling for Lancôme was an anti-age cream? That's the dumbest comment in her entire interview. But really she's said this kind of stuff the last three years and most notably in 2011 where she had a various quotes about body image and being comfortable in your skin. I wont bore you with those quotes since I have before. She gets lauded for those comments and people place her in role model status but when you closely look at it they were just words that meant nothing at the time other than to make people think, “Emma is so anti-Hollywood!! She’s a role model for women and young girls” but meanwhile she never believed in any of it in the first place. At the time she said those things she was at a more healthier weight than she ever was. In 2011 you can tell she either stopped working out or ate more. I thought she looked her best then. Now she’s back to stick thin and even surpassed it a way IMO is unhealthy. 1) most larries don't have an issue with jeff as far as i know, in fact he's given more freedom to harry than prior management did

2) at least for me, not liking camille or lizzo has literally NOTHING to do with larry. All of their arguments are completely false. Absolute fallacies. They've made up their own version of larries and have villainized us in their heads to justify their own behaviour. They sexualize harry themselves and have some of the same behaviour that we like to call/point out and they're using this hatred towards a fictionalised version of this side of the fandom to justify their own shitty actions.

And I do believe in the addiction to k-dramas it is addicting and does something to you. But tbh I prefer the artistry, the pacing, the cinematic direction and structure in pacing of K-dramas to American style direction of regular shows. Empire, that black drama was soooo widely popular for it's debut because I secretly believe that was a rare first to have a mainstream urban show let any american show follow the exact forumla of k-drama delivery. Empire was like a black urban Korean Drama to me and that's why everyone was so addicted to it before Power came along. I even bought the physical CD for it for no reason LMFAO. buying a physical soundtrack cause it was that damn popular. It was condensed, great time flow, the characters felt like characters and not their actors, it wasn't in your face deadpan realism lame boring crap American shows give, the story had it's main plot and it revolved around that plus the fight for a company was basically black chabeol realness lmao. Empire strayed cause tbh It felt like they only expected it to be a fast fashion sort of consumption of a 1-2 season short lived show. Once they had to keep going due to demand they ran out of ideas as the entire premise and main point of Lucious health issue was solved, they ended up making 3323323 sub storylines, dialouge that wasn't central to the end game of the plot idea and flowed to keep everyone moving at the quick yet steady pace.

K- dramas are good with short storytelling and 95% of all k-dramas would be a flop no matter how iconic if they had multiple seasons and unessarcy bs going on to expand the story like american shows. Some k dramas DO NEED and DESERVE at least a season 2 or 3 but thats it.

hello :) i don't know where else i could, like, type out my feelings regarding this lucas situation so i'll just send this in here.

i thought i wouldn't be so affected by all these, after all, i don't personally know him. but to be honest, the news has been kinda plaguing by personal life. everytime my mind drifts away somewhere in my day it just mostly goes to those allegations.

lucas was among my favorites in nct, his content always made me smile, i really liked his personality a lot(if, well, that was a genuine one).

so being hit by the fact that this bubbly, radiant personality of him could all be just a big facade and what could be true is the complete opposite of what he portrays himself as is so, so disturbing, to say the least.

i can't process it, i'm still trying to.

he appeared to be such a sweet and nice guy, all those interactions between him and the other members, every content of his, they admittedly made me doubt the alleged victims' statements for a little while.

but then again, if i'd to take some examples from my personal life, i did witness very similar situations, people who could take a whole 180 turn when no one was looking, so that really made me think again. all of this could be possible, i'm trying to remind myself.

i don't know what i'm trying to get at here honestly, i'm just really conflicted right now. all this could be false, and if that was the case i don't even want to think about what lucas must be going through right now, but if the allegations are true, then i'm really beyond disgusted and disturbed.

I understand what you mean. These idols make me happy when I feel down and I’ve experienced some of my fave celebs either get dragged down by a scandal (whether it was true or not) and turn out to be bad people.

We can’t help but get affected by it because they were a part of what made us smile.

I, too, have experienced personally people ending up being who they portrayed themselves to be. (It’s even worse when you’re the only one who knows their real personality).

This might sound mean, but remember that no matter what any public figure appears like, it’s filtered. Even when they’re making you happy, just remember that the possibility of them being “fake” is always there.

Personally, I’m pretty good at observing and reading people so I catch onto things. I combine all these things I notice and slowly piece together what I personally think they’re really like. (I’m talking about people in general). And then what I assume turns me off a bit from them.

The sad reality of the world is that lots of people are fake and it gets worse when they’re famous.

i'm already forgetting to search for the idols, i'm already getting paranoid about if i need to start making alliances instead of just enjoying the really cute convos i'm having with ruthie lily and kevin (max is kinda dry and annoying but... we'll try to make it work ig).... and i'm already hating every challenge we do especially this one although i actually really liked the challenge it was so creative and fun, i just hated that i have bad luck and am stupid with the deduction things, HENCE why i havent looked for the idol yet. LOL. so.... tl;dr - things are going perfectly! this hufflepuffle is workin exactly as he should!

I just wanna say we really are the hufflepuffs. 114 moves in like 5 hours, but we did it.  Really proud of Ruthie, Landen, Kevin, Max, and I! Sending positive vibes to slytherin. Hope they are okay in this madness.

Yo my tribe? Kinda dope. I think that everyone worked really well together today! I think Joanna kinda took the lead and some of her ideas were... a choice. But! It got us first place! I think that this tribe has a good shot of getting to swap unscathed.

With Slytherin going to tribal, I really hope that someone I don’t know goes, but at the same time I’d be okay with Jess going? I feel like she’s such a sleeper threat in most games I’m in with her and I really just don’t want to compete with that this time around.

I kind of snapped and got myself an idol good until final 6 teehee.

I knew that the Snape's letter or writing or whatever that freak was up to was SOMETHING. Did I get lucky... hell fucking yeah.

A crackhead like me SHOULD NOT have all this POWER.

I also gave Jacob literally the worst clue ever because we are sharing clues ladies xoxoxo

BOTH ARE HALF TRUE. Just in case he doesn't put 2 and 2 together and now I went from place to place on purpose. He's gonna think now I gave him something of value and I know he's gonna think "No way someone go an idol on day fucking 3".

CONFESSIONAL 1.1 — Walking into the Great Hall, I saw a few familiar faces... for not good reasons!

First Jacob, who I know from tengaged. He and I were in a similar friend group for a short period before he left it, but we had a rocky relationship. We flirted a bit (blame 16-year-old Nicholas), but that is in the past.

Secondly, Jess... who I just directly sent home in Eve’s The Challenge: Fresh Meat. She did not have great words to say to me (such as I’m condescending), so I was very wary and, honestly, unhappy with her being here.

But, as Kylie Minogue says, it’s better the devil you know.

Flash forward to the Sorting Ceremony, and I’m so happy to be.. Slytherin? I told Mister Vintage (Sammy) and Mister Heinen (Caeleb) that I’m either a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, but I suppose I’ve been lying to myself.

Then, I see my tribe: both Jess and Jacob are present. This is a curse wrapped in a blessing wrapped in an enigma. And, I love it.

I hate, hate, hate conflict and bad vibes, so I directly spoke to both. Jacob did not easily recognize me, but remembered me fondly; so, a successful reacquaintance. Jess, on the other hand, was definitely more apprehensive (as was I), but I made one thing clear: the past is the past, and I am declaring my loyalty.

I have been hurt in previous games by shoving the past aside while the other is still grudgingly aiming for revenge, but I feel Jess is different. She apologized to me about her words, which did hurt, and I apologized to her. What I said was honest, so I’m glad to see a fateful blossoming.

The first reward challenge is revealed, and honestly, I’m really bad at participating in pre-merge competitions, because I do not mind tribal. However, I do want to, since we are such a small tribe, focus on maintaining our numbers in case of a swap. We came in second this reward, and honestly, I’m glad to have eaten cupcakes (although I hate cherry). The fact we all chose a dessert and were privately messaged makes me assume someone received an advantage, but who knows...

What I DO know is that I had two separate relationships, so I wanted to lock a trio down (Me, Jess, Jacob), but I obviously did not want to gamebot this early and make the chat day one. So, naturally, i waited until after immunity.

Speaking of immunity... I took charge, because I like it, but also, I wanted to be able to take blame if we lost. I hate the whole “let’s vote someone out cuz they cost us a virtual challenge” this early in the game, it’s a cheap way to vote. I want to vote on loyalty and activity instead. That’s why I am probably going to target Jessie or Vi, but I‘m unsure as to which will be my vote. On one hand, Vi is much less social, but she also contributed a lot to the challenge. I do not want to judge a book by it’s cover, so I will reach out to her and assess her vibe.

I like going to tribal first, because my philosophy is that it’s better to test loyalties now, rather than guess loyalties later.

Regarding other players, Jules and Juls just played in a mini with me and sheeped the majority alliance to screw me over, so I’m not feeling them right now. Bitterness doesn’t exist in my mind: play well and I respect it; sheep and be stupid, and I will gladly dish out the karma. 

I’m satisfied with the happenings of this game so far, and I hope to make it further!! This is one of my first real orgs so, I’m em definitely excited. x. nick

Yay we won immunity. Raffy do be carrying our tribe though!

WELL WELL WELL!!!!!!! as far as my relationships go which is where i left off last round, really nothing much has changed about how i feel about or view my tribemates, but in exciting news... we won immunity!! i am not going to be first boot that is so nice, and im hoping that we can keep winning immunity until a swap so I can feel more secure. I think I could stand a shot if we lost on this tribe but i think if so the vote would split 3-2 i dont think i can get a unanimous vote on anyone unless its myself which is NOT WHAT WERE TRYNA DO HERE !! if anything i feel like i have the best chance to wiggle myself in with the girls (lily and ruthie) Max would probably be my ideal first vote if we ever lose an immunity because I know landen can be useful in challenges, but he YET AGAIN addressed me with a name that does not sit well with me he called me a "challengewhore" yet another reference to TS 2020, so this is not a good sign. Ideally I could get landen out and still be set but i know he has a relationship with juls who i also have a relationship with and wish to continue to have in this game, and us going against each other could make that more stressful than it needs to be because i know landen avenged beck for voting juls out maybe juls would do the same for him? Much to think about, but thankfully i dont have to think about it all that hard because yet again we ARE SAFE !!! woo, anyways thats pretty much it hopefully we can keep winning :D

Ahhhh safety feels so nice, I’m glad that I’m not in danger of being the first boot. Also I love the fact that ravenclaw won the first challenge with so little moves HAHA!

I want to go far in this thing with lily and with kevin, my goal right now is to get to merge and owen be alive so I can work with him!

I am very happy to have won this immunity challenge. We barely won, but I managed to pull my tribe to a victory. Emphasis on the "I" part. I am very frustrated with my tribe's lack of challenge activeness and ability. If the time did not work for them, then I do not know why they even suggested doing it at 2 PM. This challenge would have gone faster if I had done everything myself. In the end, though, I hope this helps in me staying in the game because I am a necessity if they want to ever win a challenge in first place. I highly doubt that they could do it without me.

So I’m currently writing this with one hand because my cat decided to lie on my other one  anyways Nobody is really talking about the vote which means it’s probably me going but I’ll see what I can do to change that

Here's a breakdown of my first few experiences since I am writing this a few hours before the first tribal council.

FIRST I was cast in this game along with a BUNCH of people that are icons across different formats of Tumblr Survivor - so that's intimidating. Mostly because my play style is kinda vanilla in comparison. I gotta find a way to stand out or I'm going to be thrown out fast.

SECOND There's a twist that will probably have some major effect at some later point in the game where everyone is added to the Great Hall. I think that it's for convenience of posting things like results and challenges so it only has to be sent to one chat... but also so that we can feel THEMATIC which is a lot of fun.

The game started in the Great Hall and we got sorted into our houses and the implication was that it's random but.. I don't think it's entirely true if I can read into what the hosts said to me once I was sorted into Gryffindor (something about running out of room in Hufflepuff) - because I definitely didn't say Gryffindor in my application.

THIRD My tribe has the following people: Joshua, Juls, Raffy, Autumn, and myself. 

I do not know how many of theme said Gryffindor when they applied but also did not want to bring it up to them as I am masquerading as a brave idiot. :D

Anyway, I started conversations with all of them and they all seem very sweet!!

I've played in a game before with Raffy where he was super snakey but also a great ally until he tried to snake me. So there's that... he's also an "over the top" type of person so he takes charge a lot of the time and voices his opinions about everything. I hope we can create some sort of working relationship in the game, but I think that he will tell me the truth if he does align against me.

Autumn is super chill and super strategic-minded. She puts lots of thought into all of her decisions and makes calls that benefit her getting to the end while trying to align with the right people. If I can't get to the FTC of this game... TBH I want to make sure she gets there. I played with her in one game and we both were tossed out one after another when the game turned on our "side". I don't think that relationship will factor into this game as it was forever ago and we both kinda play "new" every time we start a game but I'm hoping she will want to try and play with me just because I've seen how great she is at the game.

Juls is a very fun person who seems to always be having a great time! I found out she lives in Texas too and that she was excited to get to know me because we are from the same state. I was like.. do I know you? Because when she messaged me the way she did implied that she knew who I was and I was thinking OH NO what have people said.

Joshua seems really sweet. He hasn't added incredibly much to conversations so far with him but he has contributed some fun things. I love that he tries to be entertaining, but as I see it so far he's the first person I'd be willing to vote out if it came to our tribe going to council... though of course, having said that I bet they've all declared me their first choice.

FOURTH The reward challenge was the Letter plus Number challenge so as predicted...

I did terribly and earned 0 points for our tribe and was SO happy it was not for immunity.

The immunity challenge was a Choose Your Own Adventure Puzzle.

We got a slow start in that I feel like everyone was afraid to make a move because that would put a target on whoever "failed for the team". Then me and Raffy kind of got things rolling with him taking the main leader role and me taking on a secondary role either agreeing with his suggestions or contributing a suggestion for what we should do.

There was a misunderstanding with the competition and we ended up making a whole bunch of extra moves because it was unclear to us that the letters we found at a later part of the challenge were able to be changed into numbers at a lockbox so we did a bunch of extra stuff... and I was resigned to the fact we were going to the first tribal when we go surprised that Slytherin... DID WORSE!!! O_O

Anyway... I still have no alliances or confirmed "working game" relationships and I really don't feel like starting those conversations at the moment so if I am out of the ones established or on the bottom of one that will add me to "pick me up" for later votes then I blame myself for not trying hard enough in that category.

FIFTH I definitely didn't just now search for the idol and waste two days that I could have searched other times. Nope! Not me!! :)

Anyway I went on a trip to Hagrid's Hut because I love me some Hagrid and I figured he'd let me in since I"m a Gryffindor and he loves us the best (you know, like a reverse Snape)... I dug through all of his junk and found his umbrella. Apparently I liked that it was pink and then left his hut. 

To be honest, I probably should have taken his dragon's egg and turned him in... maybe could have gotten him fired.

Someone finally got me to come out of retirement- can you believe it

It's been cute so far and I have no complaints, probably cause the hosts wisely put me, Owen, and Dan in separate corners lmao. Yooo if we all make it to merge?? Hell hath no fury. But we will cross that bridge when we get there! And for now I enjoy the calm before the storm. I deadass forgot how to be an org so I need all the time I can get to socialize and reacclimate. Me checking Skype more than once a year? Don't remember ever doing that. I love Raffy, it's always good to see Chips, I think I like Juls, and I'm not sure how I feel about Joshua but it's fine. I like Gryffindor cause we have no beef and I hope it stays that way.

ok so my tribe lost :( big sad. but im def ok bc jess is soooo close to me and we made a threesome with nick so. i think jessie is an easy first boot bc shes not around as much as vi. but really its our decision at the end of the day!

here’s the hot goss.. i’m a little upset i didn’t get anyone i Know on my house/tribe but also grateful HSBSNSNN all i know is that so far i’ve been doing pretty solid in securing relationships with those on my team (at least.. i hope so :flushed:) and i’m hoping they all like me hehe. kinda praying to just mist my way to merge where i can be united with people who like me enough to keep me around still.. >:D
