soo demons and blood magic. yes, demons teach it, it can be used to summon them & using a lot of it in one location thins the veil there, making demons' temptation stronger.

but when it comes to the "blood mages are more likely to be possessed by demons" thing we also must consider that most blood mages (outside of Tevinter) resort to blood magic out of desperation. and who is also most susceptible to possession? people in dire situations. as in, imprisoned and mistreated mages.

to show what i mean:

so, how many mages end up possessed because they were not only desperate enough to use forbidden magic, but also desperate enough to rely on a demon?

what i'm trying to say is that its more complex than "blood magic evil and makes you possessed". it depends on the person the mage is, how mentally strong they are, how desperate their situation. not merely on the fact that they draw power from blood.
