your post about love interests reacting to their partner being made tranquil and the comment about cass reacting to a romanced tranquil inq knowing how seekers are made and the possibility of reversal made me wonder how varric would react to a tranquil hawke. like i know its not really a love interest but whatever they have going on goes beyond a platonic/romantic bond, i think he'd go a little crazy. and if He found out what cass knows about tranquil....oh how the turns tabled. would love to hear your thoughts if you have any

personally i think he’d be one of those people who absolutely can’t be around a loved one made tranquil, though. there’s a small chance of him aggressively pretending nothing’s wrong but varric needs a reaction from people and i think at the loss of that from someone so crucial to him he’d immediately break down. it’s not really a subject you can dance around or write into a story that made sense, not when hawke is still right here but wrong
