honestly when i saw the term “cozy horror” i thought it just meant like. relatively lighthearted stuff with horror elements in it like the addams family movies or beetlejuice or something. or even a broad umbrella term for horror films that are comfort watches for you. but no its actually annoying white women talking about how midsommar and suspiria are #girlpower and more sophisticated than Those Dumb Slashers apparently
