With the blockade imposed by Israel, it is extremely important to support grassroots organizations. They provide aid to multiple families on the ground. The Sameer Project is one organization. It is led by 4 Palestinians in the diaspora and Gazans are risking their lives while distributing the aid to ensure families are accommodated.

The Sameer Project provides food and shelter. As you know, the rainy season is persistent and many families have been displaced by the sea. The high tide has caused many to lose their tents, the only shelter they have. So please donate to the Sameer Project! With your support, they can branch out to families across the Strip!

allow me to introduce you once again to the ayyad's. they are a wonderful family of 8. all of them led beautiful, rich lives-- here are some of their stories:

I took a little break from Tumblr for about a month (I think? maybe?) (I had exams around that time and had to take some time to deal with that)

Like actually the man makes me smile anytime he says anything other than the usual. I wish I could mend his broken heart. But regretfully this is not an RC story so instead I just go to legion areas and we have fun adventures killing them all.

Leaving my house to stay someplace else for the evening because it’s Election Day, my parents and I do not agree politically, and I am unfortunately fearful for my safety due to previous incidents with them.

Alexei Navalny has died. If you're not familiar with the man, you should take the time to become so. He was commitment and bravery personified and he deserves to be remembered.

I know this was expected; there was no way a murderous POS like Putin would allow him to live. But it's still devastating. He was one of the few people I truly admired. Our world has so few people who are true heroes, and now it feels a little darker (as if it isn't dark enough) knowing he is gone.

To the people of Russia, my heart goes out to you. It seems there are so many good people who are living under the tyranny of monsters. People forget that PEOPLE in a nation are not their corrupt, evil leaders.

This truly breaks my heart. My faith in this world ever becoming a better place diminishes daily.

May he rest in peace. 😢

no one should have to showcase their suffering for others to care. sadly, people only seem to mobilize after something truly horrific happens. i am begging you all not to wait for the next tragedy. there is no pause button, no reprieve, no escape from the suffering these families face on a daily basis. they all need your help now.

if you don't know her already, shahed is a 21 year old who used to be a student at al-azhar university before the genocide began. with both her parents having taken ill, she is the sole provider for her family right now, including her five siblings, youngest of whom is just a baby.

shahed is currently trying to put together an evacuation fund for her younger sisters (who have hepatitis and are severely ill.) they were recently removed from the clinic where they were getting treated due to overcrowding/because there were more pressing cases to be attended to, likely because of the massacres that took place days ago and are still happening today.

there is no room left for people's complacency-- it's okay if you're unable to donate right now-- what's not okay is assuming others will pick up your slack. just because your dash is full of 🍉content doesn't mean that's the case for others. you taking a second out of your day to spread shahed's campaign brings her that much closer to her goal. please do whatever you can to help her out.

Been seeing a lot of terfs and radfems in the lesbian sphere lately and it's making my skin itch. I feel like I've outgrown the term lesbian anyway so I'm wondering if I change my username it would make me feel better. But what should I change my username to? I think I'd like to incorporate Mx in there somewhere...what do you guys think? Feel free to brainstorm with me.
