no sound in calls fix and other android audio problems
#nosound #androidaudio #callercanthear
Android sound problems can be a real pain, but with some fault finding and maybe the help of an APP you might be able to fix the problem without an expensive repair or worse a new phone!
Most Android audio problems are caused by either the headphone jack or APPs not releasing the mic or speaker to the APP you are trying to use. Sometimes just cleaning the headset port can fix the problem, but sometimes it is necessary to dig a little deeper to get things working again. Follow some of the tips in the video and you should get back up and running.
Some of the App i use are Soundabout Audiorouter headset toggle
there are others that claim to help fix the problems but i haven't used them yet so i won't recommend them.
If the steps in the video haven't helped, then get in touch using the contact details below, or let us know in the comments section.

NO SOUND In VOICE Calls Fix Android 9 PIE
NO SOUND In Calls Fix Android 9 PIE Caller can't hear you or you can't hear caller! #nosoundincalls #androidpiefix #androidmicfix
This is a constant problem with a lot of Android devices and has spanned the Android versions from Marshmallow, Nougat, Oreo and now Pie. There seems to be an issue where the Google Voice Assistant hooks into the microphone and when a call comes through the mic doesn't automatically switch to the Phone app.
A easy and quick fix is to disable the Google Voice Assistant from listening for your voice commands. And this will also hopefully stop Google listening in to your private conversations!
When the feature is disabled there should not be any hooks into the mic and subsystems so calls can be taken normally and callers should be able to hear you as you would expect.
So go into your settings cog and look for Google settings and services.. In the Google settings scroll or swipe until you find search, assistant and voice. next choose voice. Now select Voice match. disable access with voice match and lock screen personal results. You can also disable while driving option. For a full erase of the voice model you used click on delete voice model.
Now exit the settings and reboot your device and you should now be able to enjoy both incoming and outgoing calls.
If your problem relates to the earpiece or loudspeaker you can try some of the methods here.

No sound in calls on Android phone? Using Nougat or Oreo?
Here is a workaround or fix that seems to work nearly 100% of the time. You do lose the listening "okay Google" feature from the lock screen and from driving mode, but this is better than having a useless cellular phone!
Follow the instructions to disable the feature, you can enable it again easily just do the reverse.
I hope this helps anyone who is suffering from this constant problem. Hopefully in future upgrades or releases this won't be necessary, but for now for some of us it most definitely is!
