Hey! for anyone who read my mid-panic-attack post from before who was concerned, I calmed down pretty quickly using distractions and self-soothing sensory stuff. (although I then had a ghost of panic attack haunting me for the next few hours threatening to Rise Again, but all’s well that ends well, anyway!)

I decided to not go looking for the post to block it, since I’ve only ever seen it twice and it’d trigger me all over again, I am pretty sure. There’s not really a good way for me to blacklist it or posts like it, unfortunately - it’s a really cute post/video of a really sweet-looking dog - even if everyone tagged it as ‘cute dog’ and I blacklisted that, I’d miss out on all the other, non-triggering cute dogs, and I don’t think that’s worth it at this juncture.

Mutuals, if you have the spoons/memory/breed-knowledge to recognize and tag posts with photos/videos of norweigan elk hounds as ‘nope for mkp’s bls’, I’d greatly appreciate it, but I by no means expect it so please please please do not worry about it when reblogging cute dog posts, OK?? they are not a commonly reblogged breed and I am pretty sure most photos/videos would not be as triggering as this one particular one was/is - the dog in the video has?had? very very similar (almost freakishly so) body expression/language to my family’s deceased dog.
