Norton Motorcycles Becomes First Motorcycle Brand Available at Williams Automobiles
Norton Motorcycles expands sales partner network as it becomes the first motorcycle brand available from Williams Automobiles. Norton Motorcycles has begun a new sales partnership with established automotive dealership Williams Automobiles in South Gloucestershire. The announcement marks another significant step in Norton’s sales partner strategy, with Williams Automobiles becoming the twelfth location from which the Norton model line-up is available in the UK. Norton Motorcycles is the first motorcycle brand sold through Williams Automobiles, with the full product range on offer: the Norton Commando 961, the V4SV and the recently launched V4CR. Visitors to the dealership will be able to view, test, and buy their Norton motorcycle on site via the dedicated Williams team, as well as organise servicing and repairs, and purchase parts and accessories.
Henry Williams, Director of Williams Automobiles, said: “We’re delighted to begin our partnership with Norton Motorcycles and make them our very first motorcycle brand available from Williams. It’s a brand with an incredibly rich heritage – much like us – and has a very exciting product range. We’ve wanted to offer motorcycles for some time, so to have something truly British joining the rest of our made in Britain range is a joy. “Our conversations with Norton have made it clear from the outset that the company shares our values and our passion for quality, and I look forward to seeing what the future brings as we join their sales partner network.”
Robert Hentschel, Chief Executive Officer at Norton Motorcycles, said: “Like Norton, Williams Automobiles has a rich history and is dedicated to showcasing the very best in British engineering. “We look for sales partners that share our purpose to provide the highest quality products whilst delivering the very best customer experience. Williams is the perfect candidate, and we’re delighted to be working with Henry and the team as we become their first motorcycle brand, joining their exquisite Morgan, Lotus and Caterham offering.”
Over 100 years of Williams Automobiles Established in 1911 by Harry Williams, Williams Automobiles remains a family business to this day. A specialist in Morgan, Lotus and Caterham cars, the dealership is now run by Henry Williams – the fourth Williams generation to do so. Based in a stunning rural location 30 minutes outside of Bristol, the Williams Automobiles dealership comprises three showrooms, two separate workshops and a large detailing bay. In the competitive world of automotive sales and service, staying ahead of the curve is essential. One way to do this is through the use of technology, particularly mobile apps. This is exactly what Steph, the marketing manager of Krazy Horse in Bury St Edmunds, realised when she decided to create a branded app for her business.
At first, Krazy Horse was reluctant to have their own branded app. However, Steph knew that the benefits could be game-changing for the brand. She persevered, and the app is now in its 4th year and has gone from strength to strength. It has become an essential part of Krazy Horse's marketing and customer engagement strategies.
One of the key features of the Krazy Horse app is the cafe loyalty program. Customers can use the app to collect loyalty points each time they visit the cafe, which can then be redeemed for discounts or free items. This is a great way to incentivise customers to visit the cafe and keep them coming back.
Another important feature of the app is the ability to book test drives and services. Customers can use the app to schedule appointments for these services, making it much more convenient for them to do business with Krazy Horse. This is particularly important in today's fast-paced world where people are often short on time and need to be able to book appointments quickly and easily.
In addition to these features, Krazy Horse also has a solid marketing strategy using the app to take customer details in the showroom and at shows and events. The app has an automated system to populate their database, making it easy for the team to stay in touch with their customers and send them targeted marketing messages.
One of the most powerful tools in the Krazy Horse app is the push notifications feature. This allows the team to engage their clients and showcase upcoming car/bike releases and events. It's a great way to keep customers informed about what's happening at Krazy Horse and keep them excited about the brand.
Overall, the Krazy Horse app has been a great success for the business. It has helped to increase customer engagement, drive sales and build brand loyalty. For any business looking to stay ahead of the curve in today's fast-paced world, investing in a mobile app is definitely worth considering.
If you want to increase customer engagement and retention, consider creating your own branded app and implementing a push notification strategy. By staying top of mind and offering personalized messages and promotions, you can build a community of loyal customers who will continue to come back to your business. So why not take the first step and start exploring your options today.

Norton Motorcycles launches the most powerful British café racer the V4CR
Norton Motorcycles has today launched its first naked sport motorcycle and the most powerful British café racer: the Norton V4CR. The rebellious younger sibling of the V4SV, the V4CR delivers artistic modern design coupled with a riding experience befitting its 185 brake horsepower. Priced at £41,999 and with just 200 set to be made, the naked superbike café racer is the first brand-new motorcycle produced by TVS-owned Norton, following on from the re-engineered V4SV and new-generation Norton Commando 961 launched last year. Meticulously hand built at the company’s Solihull headquarters, the new bike inherits all the hallmarks of Norton’s DNA with beauty in its flowing lines, the distinctive forward angle of the engine and the signature hourglass silhouette.
The stripped-back carbon-fibre fairing reveals the scrupulous attention to detail in the handmade aluminium frame, titanium exhaust system and precision welding. Exposed air intakes at the front, combined with the short body and compact tail unit, gives the V4CR its unique aggressive stance. By taking the exquisite engineering of the V4SV, the V4CR offers the same surefooted handling and pinpoint power delivery, only without the barrier between the rider and the ride. It is an experience without the filter, marrying design and beauty with the intoxicating thrill of the wind in your face and a road yet to be discovered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0KNskxzlNQ Norton’s first naked sport: About V4CR* Available in two colour schemes, Carbon or Manx Platinum, the superbike café racer features an under-seat carbon fibre 15-litre fuel tank, with Kevlar reinforcement, and carbon-fibre body panels. It is also the second motorcycle to be powered by Norton’s own liquid-cooled 1200cc, 72-degree V4 engine, which has been optimised to produce 185bhp at 12,000rpm and 125Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. The combination of a handmade exhaust system and sound of the V4 engine ensures that UK roads reverberate with the iconic snarling of a Norton engine once more.
A quick shifter and auto blipper system, adjustable Öhlins front and rear suspension, Brembo brakes, solid aerospace grade aluminium billet-machine yokes, a sophisticated lean-angle sensitive traction-control and three engine modes (wet, road and sport) are all featured on this British-made motorcycle. As standard, the Norton V4CR has a traditional single round headlamp fitted with a modern LED unit, keyless ignition and a full-colour six-inch TFT display. When it comes to the finishes, the Manx Platinum option presents platinum-coloured bodywork complemented by carbon panels, a striking orange seat and forged aluminium OZ racing wheels. The second option, the V4CR Carbon, features exposed carbon fibre bodywork, with a black seat and carbon fibre BST wheels.
Dr. Robert Hentschel, CEO of Norton Motorcycles, said: “The Norton V4CR is a raw expression of impeccable design and intoxicating performance. We’ve taken the engineering of the V4SV and stripped back the outer shell to ensure the rider gets a truly uninhibited motorcycling experience. “The V4CR is the first completely new model we’ve built. Our engineering and design teams have been meticulous in their approach, from initial sketches to concept production, through to the final finishing touches. The bike is the culmination of all our learnings and investment over the last three years and we’re delighted that we can now share this taste of Norton’s future.” Register interest in the bike at Norton V4 Cafe Racer (V4CR) | Norton Motorcycles
