Rattlesnake Ledge [ Seattle Day 5 ] Today was the day I discovered my fear of falling. I was literally in tears for a moment because of the thought. The height of this mountain is around 2,000ft, and the cliff at the top was too much for me to bear. Folks were taking photos near the edge, moving all fast, climbing over rocks and I was getting horrible anxiety just watching everyone. It was a memorable experience to see so much landscape from that spot, but the prospect of seeing someone fall didn’t allow me to enjoy the view as much. Still, I’m glad I went. And yes, I sat down the entire time.
