It’s kinda hilarious how casting people of color in “Viking” roles is controversial when so many of the actors who play those roles are British, the Vikings’ historical enemies.

#norsemen watching thor would probably only accept heimdall because he's black #idris elba is english but not anglo-saxon so he gets a pass #loki is a jotun so MAYBE tom hiddleston can stay #but anthony hopkins is straight out #also all of them are from different norse cultures that hated each other as much as the british so stellan skarsgard causes a full on brawl
