It wasn't that long since I started reading Korean manhwa/webtoons besides Japanese manga, and recently I got into the historical-fantasy genre webtoons/manhwa where out of all of them, The Fantasie of a Stepmother (A Stepmother's Märchen) is my No. 1 fav in the list. I just love the story and the characters and more so than that, I'm in love with the main male lead of the story, Norra Von Nurnberger.

I love Shuri and Norra's dynamic. I can see them in years time, when they're married, and they spend their days together. Imagine them sitting in the garden, him with a sketchbook or an easel, talking in easy rhythm with one another as he draws her. Shuri watching his expression settle into soft concentration, her heart so full, so glad of this second chance, that she got to live long enough to find herself home in this wonderful life. And when they're out or busy, or out visiting family, there are times when he'll go quiet during a conversation, caught by her smile, the bright happiness in her eyes thinking oh, I want to draw her. And she'll know by then what that quiet pause means, and she'll squeeze his hand in gentle teasing. And their house is filled with paintings and sketchbooks of norra trying to capture all the little moments of their beautiful life together.
