1.) What did you want to do with your life when you were younger? What would the child version of yourself think about the path you paved for yourself?

as a child all i ever wanted was to follow in my family's footsteps- to become a career military man, decorated, and to retire in the highest rank possible. obviously, life had other plans. while my younger self would likely be disappointed and confused with where i have ended up, however overall i am content.

2.) What is your proudest accomplishment? Don’t be afraid to talk about what it took to achieve it and how you feel about it as well.

graduating with my Ph.D. the process was long and difficult, as well as tedious to say the least. however through determination and hard work, i was able to achieve the goal.

3.) If you could do anything you wanted for one whole day, what would it be and why?

i already do precisely what i want to each day.

after his unceremonious exit from dalton academy hunter was forced back into a military academy by his father. due to the strings his father pulled as well as the weight his family name carried he was able to avoid jail or juvenile time, though he was required to complete hefty amounts of community service, pay a fine, and attend both drug and anger management classes. once he had graduated high school and paid his debt to society he went immediately into college, where he followed an accelerated program to earn his BA in History in three years. Following graduation he enlisted in the military and attended bootcamp, quickly finished, and rose through the ranks. his time, however, was cut short when he was involved in a helicopter crash overseas. he survived, though not uninjured. during his recovery he earned a Masters in Anthropology, after which he moved to nyc and began working for the museum. climbing through the ranks he began earning his Ph.D and upon graduation was offered the position of curator.

You spent the day working in the gardens. It was a very rewarding day and left you feeling utterly content.

Content, but also very exhausted and very dirty. So you hopped into the shower for a quick rinse off and while you did, let the bathtub fill with the hottest water. You used  some of the lavender oil you made with your flowers and then lit some candles to set the mood. Ten minutes later, you were boiling in your little lavender soup, getting rid of all the tension in your muscles.

It is another ten minutes later when a faint knock on your door rips you out of your relaxation.

“Yes?”

“It’s me”, Yoongi says.

“It’s open.”

The door opens and in steps Yoongi. 

“Oh? Sorry”, he gasps, turning around, “why didn’t you say something?”

“Why are you turning away? You’ve seen me naked a million times before.”

“I don’t know, just don’t wanna be rude.”

You laugh, “you’re so weird”, you chuckle, “what’s up? Do you need help with something?” 

“No it was…no it’s fine, it was dumb”, he dismisses you. 

“No, it’s okay. Tell me.”

“It’s nothing, I’m dumb, just wanted to ask for, you know…”, he lowers his voice to a whisper, making it unable to understand him. 

“I didn’t get the last part.”

“I just wanted to…”

“Yoongi, you are talking too quietly. I can’t understand you.”

Yoongi whips around, “I just wanted to ask for cuddles!” he blurts out and pouts, “it’s dumb, okay?” he adds in a shy mumble and his eyes flitting to his feet.

“Aww my love, it’s not dumb. You’re so cute”, you coo, resting your chin on the edge of the bathtub, “do you wanna hop in here? The water’s so nice.”

He rubs his tummy, inspecting you with his head tilted to the side.

life + music update

heyyyyy to everyone reading this!! I made this tumblr so that I could document my progress and process as an artist so that I (and the future enjoyers of my music that I don't have a fandom name for yet) could look back and be like wow... we came so far fr.

my first release NOPOINT has been out since May 10th. We're at around 3400 streams (although like 800 of those streams randomly showed up after I was added to a botted playlist smh) and around 400 listeners (180 of which are bots from Finland, Helsinki).

I'm saving up to get a new mic so I can get a new release out ASAP. More music would have already been dropped if the guy that had the studio arrangement with my bf/producer wasn't a complete fraud and asshole. And also a white guy that says nigga and God knows what else. But that's a story for another day!!

I have been feeling stressed out, because I'm slowly getting back into making content but it feels like I'm starting all over again. All the momentum I had before has died down and it feels impossible to gain reach on TikTok and especially Instagram. I'm not giving up though, I feel like I can get back on track with consistency, but damn is it hard to keep recording, editing and posting for 200 views.

I've also been noticing those of my friends that actually support, and those that only support to fill the assumed quota. I've been pondering if I should try to make new friends online, but that might also prove to be difficult bc I have social anxiety!! (surprise surprise)

Anyway, I've been barely writing... definitely not as much as I should. I've been doing a lot of producing because I really want to grow my LISSYWAV page. Wish me luck! My song link is below vvvv

Milestone Celebration Masterlist

Thunder rumbles as your boyfriend unlocks his apartment door. You enter behind him, dripping muddy water all over his kitchen tiles. “Ah, sorry!”

“Don’t worry about it,” he calls over his shoulder as he wanders down the hall to his bedroom. “Let me grab you something clean.”

The two of you had been enjoying an invigorating Saturday morning run when a freak thunderstorm suddenly cut things short. Your mad scramble to return to his place before you got struck by lightning took a bad turn when you tripped and slid down a small hill, landing in a nasty mud puddle at the bottom.

Namjoon hands you some clothing before he wraps you up in a big fluffy towel, hugging you, pretending to squeeze all the water out while you giggle. You change in the kitchen, not wanting to track filth everywhere. When he returns from throwing your dirty clothes in the washer, he chuckles softly.

“You look better in my clothes than I do.”

You glance down at yourself. His t-shirt and shorts aren’t quite your style. They fit well enough, but they look much better on his large, muscular frame.

You snort. “Hardly. But… maybe I should keep some spare clothes here? For the future?” you add hesitantly. Although you’ve known each other for years, you’ve only been dating for three months and haven’t had any serious discussions about your relationship yet. Don’t want to jump the gun. “Just in case.”

He rifles through the fridge, handing you a coffee milk. “Or maybe you should just move in.”

“What?” And here you were afraid of getting ahead of yourself.

“I’m just saying. You could keep some clothes here, or you could keep all your stuff here.” He grins. “You practically live with me anyway. When’s the last time you slept in your own bed?”

“Uh…” He’s being a little hyperbolic - you don’t stay over every night. True, it has been a few days. And shuffling back and forth to your apartment to grab things is annoying. But still. Blinking rapidly, you shake your head. “Okay, you’re still on your runner’s high. Euphoria makes people say funny things.”

Namjoon laughs, looping his strong arms around your waist. “It’s not a runner’s high! This isn’t adrenaline, I want to spend my life with you. Why wait?” His nose nuzzles yours. “I love you. Move in with me.”

This isn’t how you’d imagined your Saturday would go. This is far beyond any of your expectations - or your dreams, honestly. You feel electrified.

Cupping his squishy cheeks in your hands, you practically shout, “I love you too!”

He dips his mouth against yours, and you can’t contain the joyful giggles that bubble up. Neither can he. Your laughter mixes together in a jubilant harmony. “So you’re moving in?”

“I’m moving in,” you confirm, brushing a lock of his platinum hair from his face. He kisses you again, and the storm booming outside is a dull roar compared to the thundering of your heart.
