I have a little routine for Asra and Xiang's (My OC) birthday (My MC's birthday is June 18) It goes something like this:

Because their birthdays are very close, they choose to take a 2 week vacation, starting with Asra's birthday. Xiang insists on giving him A LOT OF attention and pampering all day. Along with this, Their closest friends and relatives usually organize a party for both of them, where they share a good time throughout the day. After that, they go on a trip, staying a few days in Nopal until Xiang's birthday, where it is here that Asra is in charge of pampering Xiang all day. Both of them cook each other their favorites foods in their bdays, and some other days, somehow are their form of sharing their love.

And idk i just get so soft and happy and i cry every time i think of them i love them so much omg

This is literally so sweet 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 this sounds a lot like a tradition I adopted from my best friend when we met! Which is what we call "Birthday Tyranny Week" lol. Around our birthdays, we designate anywhere from several days to a week or more for the birthday baby to take over total control of the household and all our activities during that time. Sure, sometimes it means getting to boss the other into doing your least favorite chore lol, but most of the time, it means going, "This week, we're going to have a delicious meal every single night. Beef bourguignon on Monday, salmon on Tuesday..." or "Today were gonna shirk our responsibilities and spend all day watching movies and cuddling, and there's nothing you can do about it, cause it's my Tyranny Weekend!"

Being able to just spend time reveling in the simple beauties of life with the person you love the most is one of the best ways to celebrate a birthday. And I know Asra would be sure to remind Xiang that their birthday is so important to him because it's a celebration of the day they joined the world and would someday become his forever ❤️
