hateeeeeeeeeeee the idea that it might not be helly. but it sounds SO plausible. like. how would that work with the rules of severance procedure as we currently know it? the easiest way would be to reverse the spatial trigger so that her innie and outie are reversed. then she could be a mole and helena would WANT to be a mole. to destroy her rebellious id's hard work fighting against her. meanwhile helly would be imprisoned somewhere most likely while they do fucked up brain experiments that just barely don't interfere with helena's ability to spy on the innies. which means that the helly who's just promised to help mark find his wife is going to do everything in her (helena's) power to sabotage him at every turn

#what other options are there for this scary thing to work. helly reset. the first helly is essentially dead and this is a SECOND innie #second innie personality who has been prepped much more thoroughly and is in line with helena's wishes #or first innie is killed? somehow? we know reintegration is possible but debilitating and maybe deadly #but it MIGHT be possible to remove a severance chip without reintegrating? in which case helena would be an ordinary #nonsevered person going down into the floor. sabotaging our heroes #report: I Am Scared #q
