By 1. empowering each member with accurate information 2. empowering the food co-op members to change their own operations so that they have a sense of control over their health and 3. connecting members so that they may pray and care for one another if someone does get sick. @foodsecurityforamerica • When FSA participants can feed themselves, and their families with healthy food, they can turn to the other (equally as important) aspects of family. In these cold winter months, having heat and power are crucial to survival. When food insecurity fears are off the table, a Father can pay his heat, gas and power bills so his children can sleep well and thrive. This leads to a participants ability to have choices, respect and empowerment which addresses Principle 2 of @nationalalliancetoendhomlessness Homeless Prevention Guide.
