Micah just being a rat-faced peice of shit, just in a new world? Would the gang has still collapsed in a world without Pinkertons?

And also about their enviable encounters with the FGG? (I like the idea of them becoming like friendly arch-enemies).

I’m sorry to disappoint you Anon, but I feel like I don’t know enough about Red Dead Redemption to give you a good answer! I only watched one playthrough and it was many years ago. I barely remember any characters except Arthur and Sadie.

We see that Nolean is Europe inspired and Serkel is Africa inspired, both culturally and geographically. Which area is most Asian inspired, both in geography and culture?

I made Looming Gaia's map by taking an image of Pangaea and cutting it up randomly, so there are geographic elements that resemble the real world and some that are more fantastical.

As for culture, I didn't try to take inspiration from existing cultures, but instead designed new ones based on what I thought would make sense given the geography, fauna, weather, other peoples, and history in each area. Any resemblance to real-world cultures is coincidental, but since there are similar geographical elements as the real world, I think similarities are bound to happen.

I will say that Noalen isn't exactly Europe and Serkel isn't exactly Africa. Noalen is a diverse continent with many different biomes. There is the rainy Timberland Forest, which is similar to the Pacific Northwest (USA). The fertile Blue Valley, similar to the fields of Ukraine. The snowy Winterwood, similar to the birch forests of Scandinavia. The windy Frozenwind Pass, similar to the Swiss Alps. The wet Southriver Wood, similar to the marshes of the American south.

Serkel is even more diverse, with sprawling savannahs like that in Tanzania, barren deserts like Nairobi, humid jungles like Vietnam and the Amazon rainforest, snowy peaks like the Andes, scenic coasts like Hawaii, and much more. Basically every biome can be found on Serkel, and likewise, the peoples living on it have countless different cultures.

There are many aspects of Asia scattered around Looming Gaia. There are parts of Serkel that resemble the steppes of Northern Asia, the canyons of East Asia, the forests of Southern Asia, and the deserts of Western Asia, among others. The Crystalline Islands share similarities with Southeastern Asia, and so does the Jungle of Scales in Wokina. Because of this similar geography and climates, you will find a lot of the same plants and animals you would find in these real-world regions. But they are by no means exact copies, they just share elements, as well as a mix of elements from other real-world locations.

For example, in the real world, kangaroos can only be found in Australia. But there are kangaroos hopping around in Lorrowey, Serkel, and Wokina on Looming Gaia, and none of these locations are exact copies of Australia.

Culture-wise, I think there are countless ones that share similarities with various Asian cultures. The most obvious would probably be Zareen Empire's resemblance to modern China, India, or Japan, with its ultra fast-paced, consumerist lifestyle, huge industries, and advanced technologies. But there are also many elements that could be compared to the USA, Australia, and the UK, among others. So you couldn't say it's just a fantasy counterpart to Asia. I feel like that's not accurate at all.

Sorry for such a complex answer, but the truth is, there is no real counterpart to anything or anyone in the real-world. I made Looming Gaia specifically to get away from the real world as much as possible. I'm a very uneducated and uncultured person who doesn't know a lot about the world around me, so any similarities were not intentional on my part.
