Name: Nokrotepth Age: Ageless Gender: Genderless Pronouns: He/Him Species: Deity Place of Origin: Outside the Universe
Revered as a god of death and famine (and, seemingly contradictorily, of fertility) in many ancient cultures, and the centre of a cult in the modern day. Nokrotepth bargains with lost souls, offering them second chances at life in exchange for someone else. These reanimated people rarely -if ever- come back exactly as they were, however. In the past he was often called upon to bring fertility to farmlands, although this came at the cost of other settlements being plagued by disease and famine. Often thought to be the husband of Vethylthym.

Is there a hierarchy among the Bargainers of Reality? Do they interact with each other very often?
It's a very loose hierarchy, and they'd all tell you a different story (varying depending on how much they like/tolerate the other Bargainers). But my official hierarchy is: Z'yxs is undeniably the most powerful, then Vethylthym, Nokrotepth and Tempora, then Solaris and Lunaris
Solaris and Lunaris are the only Bargainers to regularly interact with each other and have a good relationship, as their source of power comes from setting themselves up as deities and receiving worship and offerings. They consider themselves sister and brother.
Vethylthym and Nokrotepth are like an extremely old married couple. They have a tense but civil relationship, as they often cross paths whilst observing humans. Their opinions often clash, but they keep meeting up.
Tempora often interacts with all the Bargainers, mostly to keep them from making deals with humans she already holds sway over. She doesn't necessary like any of them, but they pass the time when she's bored.
Z'yxs almost never crosses paths with the other Bargainers. He keeps to his own corner of the space between dimensions.

Name: Vethylthym Age: Ageless Gender: Genderless Pronouns: She/Her Species: Deity Place of Origin: Outside the universe
One of the Bargainers of Reality, taking the form of a veiled woman. Many who have experienced near-death experiences claim to have seen her, as do those who have been eyewitnesses to great tragedy. She bargains in second chances, offering those close to death another chance to live, although like all offers made by the Bargainers, this deal comes at a price. She is sometimes known as the Wife of Nokrotepth, due to their association as death gods.

Okay so I think we're actually just gonna be leaving the Bargainers as Z'yxs, Vethylthym, Nokrotepth and Tempora. Chaos, life, death and time, it's a good quartet I feel.
I did consider K'no Agu-Knoss for a candidate, and if I had to include another member it would probably be him. But he's really more of a "giant primordial creature worshipped like a god" than "ancient unknowable thing from outside the universe".
I've got a post in the works explaining the hierarchy and pantheon of the gods, as it gets a bit complicated given they not all from one set religion and have a variety of scattered cults and worshippers.
We're rearranging the Bargainers of Reality. Solaris and Lunaris aren't as suitable for the role anymore.
