Some good channels to follow in these upcoming times of uncertainty and strife.

The virus situation is getting bad but what’s 1,000 times worse are the shockwaves created by it.  The economy is shutting down, shelves are emptying, people are out of work, budgets are getting tight, and I’m sure many people are worrying about money more than anything.

Here are some cooking/food youtube channels that will help you prepare simple meals using simple ingredients for cheap.

Who are better survivors of hard times than the Slavs? The famous gopnik Boris has a whole cooking series.  Many of his vids involve cooking for cheap challenges like a full month of eating for 50 euro or “End of Month” recipes.  Also learn how to squat and listen to hardbass.

The Quaint Housewife

One hobby I used to do years ago was harvesting and eating wild edible plants, and I plan to take up that hobby again when Spring comes.  Learn to identify, harvest, and cook easy to find yummy and nutritious wild plants, many of which can be commonly found in your own back yard.
