Gunnm “Rusty Angel” OVA VHS(1993) . . “Rusty Angel” The first half or episode one of the Gunnm OVA, the second half or episode two being “Tears Signs” Nobuteru Yūki with the cover art!! . . Brought last month, and now I have both the Rusty Angel VHS and the Tears Sign VHS which I brought a year or so ago. Took a pic of both together along with the Laserdisc counterparts! With this latest pick up, I now have 5 Gunnm VHS tapes! One English dubbed version, one Eng subbed version, one Japanese full length version and now the two separate episode versions!! Would’ve added a pic with all of them but ran out of the 10 img limit… Super stoked to add it to the little collection! 塩山紀生さんが今朝方火事で亡くなられたとの事。。。 訃報が続くなぁ（泣）

ダイターン３の最終回の作画は衝撃的で、ザクザク描くあの荒いタッチで全動画とかしびれました。画像はLD-BOXに描かせていただいたもので、自分が唯一塩山キャラを描いたもの。

"Alita: Battle Angel" Director Explains What's Going on with Those Big Eyes

Last week, Fox presented their trailer for next summer's live-action adaptation of Yukito Kishiro's sci-fi action manga Alita: Battle Angel. Rosa Salazar is playing the title character, and Robert Rodriguez (Machete, Desperado, Spy Kids) is directing the live-action adaptation, produced by James Cameron (Avatar, Terminator, Titanic). Rodriguez subsequently spoke to Empire Magazine and explained those eyes that were prompting so many reactions. 

  "It was always Jim's intention to create a photo-realistic version of the manga eyes that we're so accustomed to seeing. We really wanted to honour that tradition and see that look standing next to any human character. To have the right person to emote behind it was really essential. Her origins are in the film and you understand why she looks that way. If the eyes are the windows to the soul, we have some pretty big windows. You can see a lot going on in there! When it gets to the emotional scenes it's really uncanny and striking. And captivating!"

  Also, of note: Nobuteru Yuki, character designer on the Alita OVA, reacted to the trailer... mostly to share the speculation that Cameron's lengthy hold on rights were why the anime has been unavailable for so long. He did also smirk about the eye-size when one of the responses brought up the subject (also suggesting that Rosa Salazar deserves some of the credit).
