ordinarily john winchester would be a character i dislike on account of my own shitty dad but the fandom is so annoying abt him that they made me like him :)
#nobody understands abusive dads like i do. my dad is more logan than john with 1 exception#logan is the type of Traditional Man who sleeps better at night bc he refuses to hit his daughter#the less said abt that the better#anyway dean is a MUCH more aggravating and dangerous character to me than john is bc everyone loves him#he can and has gotten away with murder#this is why i compare logan to dean rather than to john#but i will say that john and sam’s infamous arguments abt stanford/their lifestyle in general are so so dear to me#impacted me so deeply when i was a teen#sam is SO daughter of immigrants committing the unforgivable sin of breaking away from the family unit#love him to pieces forever he helped me so much
