You are exploring the forest and come to a clearing with many weird plants and animals. Echo, the Phantom Whisperling that's been following you around since you discovered it, chirps from under your hat, wondering why you stopped. You are an explorer and you are documenting many undiscovered flora and fauna of the Forgotten Woods. Certain plants an animals are hard to find. If this is your first time you can only find a limited number of plants - no animals. If you have explored before but not the Forgotten Woods, you can find all the plants - but only some of the animals. If you are a seasoned explorer and have been to the Forgotten Woods before, you can document all the plants and all the animals. Which plant or animal do you document first (if you can find it)?

— synopsis ;
„blessed we are, they all say, the ones who don‘t understand“, you whisper and trace the shape of his lips with your finger.
„blessed we are, say the stories of old, say our legacies, the mortals who only hear the glory and fame of the tales“, you continue, while he takes a shuddering breath. your words hit hard but they are the truth.
„i say we‘re cursed. cursed to be born painfully, cursed to life painfully and cursed to die, not only in pain but also alone.“ you lean closer, and it shouldn’t be allowed, when you utter so paining words, whisper the following so softly, as if you confessed him your love.
„and if we ever fall in love… then we shall love with all our heart and mind, until one of us dies. nothing else can destroy the bond we have, because i have given you my soul.“ and you pledge your words with a kiss.

— author notes ;
blue lock really has me in a chokehold. so here i am. once again 😭 starting to write this when i should be doing important school stuff... this series has my current obsessions put together, blue lock AND my returning pjo/mythology phase. please note that it will take some time for each piece to be written, as i want them to bit longer than my usual works (more than like 200 words lmao) and i'm in a rather studious phase in school rn. i should definitely not start another series, when i already have an event going on but spare with me. because i think this will just continue to grow and be definitely a longer series, spanning over several weeks. maybe i'll never close it.... requests are closed for this series (for now) until i put a notice on it. i don't wanna kill my currently insane motivation to write with restricting myself. other than that, i think everything has been said. enjoy!

Spotify: Discover This Podcast On The Eurovision Song Contest
The Eurovision Song Contest, often known simply as Eurovision, is an international song competition organized annually by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), featuring entries from primarily European countries. Each participating country submits an original song to be performed on live television and radio, transmitted to national broadcasters via the EBU's Eurovision and Euroradio networks, with competing countries then casting votes for the other countries' songs to determine a winner. Based on the Sanremo Music Festival held in Italy since 1951, Eurovision has been held annually since 1956 (apart from 2020), making it the longest-running annual international televised music competition, and one of the world's longest-running television programs. As of 2022, 52 countries have participated at least once. Each participating broadcaster sends one original song of three minutes duration or less to be performed live by a singer or group of up to six people aged 16 or older.
Spotify just released the newest episode of its podcast series, Spotify: Discover This and in this episode, listeners can learn about all things Eurovision that garners up to 200 million viewers (almost twice the size of the Super Bowl audience in the U.S.).
You can listen to the full episode here, and check out exclusive footage from on-the-ground in Liverpool on YouTube and Spotify. Last year, rap group Kalush Orchestra won the title representing their home country of Ukraine with a soaring power anthem. The contest winners are usually awarded the honor of hosting the following year’s event, but the continuing war meant the UK, as runners-up, was invited to host on Ukraine’s behalf. As this year’s competitors prepare to compete in the city of Liverpool this week, Spotify podcast host Lea Palmieri caught up with several artists, including Ukrainian music duo Tvorchi, UK’s Mae Muller, Israel’s Noa Kirel, Italian artist Marco Mengoni and Swedish superstar Loreen, who could become only the second artist to win Eurovision twice. Lea also speaks to the Editor-at-Large of Esquire Magazine, Dave Holmes, who offers light-hearted insights on the competition's popularity and peculiarities. Passionate Eurovision fans share what they are looking for in a Eurovision winner while Spotify’s Music Team Lead for Eastern and Southern Europe, Mateusz Smolka, reveals unique Eurovision insights from Spotify streaming data. See below for interview highlights in the episode.
Dave Holmes on how Eurovision Started “Eurovision started in 1956 as Europe was recovering from World War Two…trying to find activities to do together to sort of reunify. And how better to do that through music. It was just, you know, artists singing songs. There was a voting body. That was it. And over time, it got bigger and flashier and campier and it started to produce some stars. ABBA came from it in the early years…Celine Dion..and it became more of a camp Super Bowl.” Dave Holmes on why America has not caught on to the phenomenon yet “It's really difficult to explain how massive the Eurovision Song Contest is everywhere in the world, really but America. The best way that I can put it for an American audience is that it's like the Miss America pageant and American Idol and the Super Bowl, but sort of gay and just all together with just an extra little bit of glitter on top. America does not know what to do with the tone that Eurovision creates. It's sincere, but it's also like 10% making fun of itself at any given moment. It's just it's. It's a tone that we as Americans do not know how to do. We're either fully ironic or we're fully sincere. And it's just we can't do it.” Tvorchi band member, Jeffrey Kenny on what fans can expect from Ukraine this and a special shout-out to the UK for hosting. “Ukraine has been represented in the past years with folk songs, and it was a great representation. But this year we will show the country from another side with progressive electronic music, and we will show everyone how different Ukraine can be…we would like to say a huge thank you to the United Kingdom for hosting and all the support they've offered. They have really created a lot of initiatives to really bring the culture and feel of Ukraine into Liverpool, and they have done an amazing job with that.” Loreen on what Eurovision Song Contest means to her. “Basically, that was the community that accepted me for who I am. I was a struggling artist before that, you know, trying to find my space. And then I knocked on the Eurovision door, and they're like, You know what? We like you. We like what you're doing. Come on in, we'll give you a shot. That was where it all started.” Loreen on what it would mean to her home country of Sweden if she won again. “My performance has to have certain values. I think that's one of the reasons why they want me to represent them. The message is pretty clear. It's about nature. It's about hope, It's about love. All those things that I guess the majority of the Swedish people believe in and want to send out there.” Mae Muller on what it would mean if her home country of the United Kingdom won this year. “I feel like, especially in the last few years, there's been a change in tides and how people are seeing Eurovision in the UK. And I feel like we're taking it more seriously now, and I feel like, you know, a victory like that would just really like help, just like catapulting it in a different way. And I feel like Sam (Ryder) doing so well last year, like completely kind of changed the game.” Mateusz on artists that are proving most popular on Spotify ahead of the final. “In terms of Spotify streams, it's Swedish superstar Loreen and her song Tattoo. Actually Loreen already won Eurovision many years ago with her amazing track Euphoria. And that actually started her amazing career. And now she's back with another stellar song and is already having amazing numbers - actually twice as many streams as the second song in this list, Marco Mengoni…Marco is like an Italian artist. And then these two tracks are followed by Norway's song Queen of Kings…”

‘A Desecration of God’s Name’ Women of the Wall Demands Government Inquiry Into Violent Attacks at Western Wall
‘It’s important to ask who benefited politically from this show of force against Women of the Wall 34 days before the election,’ says group’s head after thousands of ultra-Orthodox youths were bused in to protest last Friday
The multidenominational feminist prayer group Women of the Wall is demanding that a national commission of inquiry be set up to investigate acts of violence against its members during a special prayer session at Jerusalem’s Western Wall on Friday morning.
“This needs to be investigated by independent bodies like the state comptroller and the police comptroller,” the group’s chairwoman, Anat Hoffman, told Haaretz on Sunday.
“They need to look at the events that preceded this to see that we were definitely not the ones that provoked this,” she said. “I’m sure they’ll find the police have tapes of all the conversations we held with them the day before.”
Major clashes broke out at the Kotel when thousands of ultra-Orthodox youths descended on the Jewish holy site to disrupt a special service being held to mark Women of the Wall’s 30th anniversary.
Young teenage girls from religious high schools around the country were brought in by bus, in an orchestrated attempt to fill the women’s section of the Western Wall to capacity before the feminist prayer delegation arrived.
“We looked at the buses and many of them were from West Bank settlements,” said Hoffman. “We would like this commission of inquiry to look at who exempted these kids from school, who decided that 6:45 A.M. was the right time for them to arrive at the Western Wall knowing that our celebration was set to begin at 7, and who paid for 200 buses at 2,000 shekels [$550] a bus. We think it’s important to ask who benefited politically from this show of force against Women of the Wall 34 days before the election.”
Hundreds of young ultra-Orthodox men — held behind police barricades to prevent them from attacking members of Women of the Wall at Friday’s prayer service — proceeded to target male supporters of the group who had come to show their solidarity.
Women of the Wall and their supporters were shoved, scratched, spit on and verbally abused by the ultra-Orthodox youths during the prayer service.
Women of the Wall and leaders of the Reform and Conservative movements in Israel accused the police of not fulfilling their obligation to protect them. However, the Israel Police charged that the group had provoked the violence and was to blame for the clashes.
Hoffman said representatives of Women of the Wall had warned the police a day before the event that violence was expected. “They basically told us their hands are tied and they take their orders from the Western Wall rabbi,” she added.
The clashes ultimately became so violent that Women of the Wall worshippers had to stop their prayer service midway through and be moved, with police escorts, to the egalitarian prayer space south of the women’s prayer section.
“This was the first time we ever had to stop our prayers in the middle and, let me tell you, we’ve prayed in unbelievable conditions in the past,” said Hoffman. “We’ve prayed when one of us was hospitalized. We’ve prayed when some of us were arrested. But never before did we have to stop.”
The fact her group had to quit praying in the middle, she said, “was a desecration of God’s name, and the Western Wall rabbi needs to do some soul-searching over that.”
She said it was “a miracle” there was no “major bloodshed” on Friday, although several individuals — including Rabbi Noa Sattath, director of the Israel Religious Action Center (the advocacy arm of the Reform movement in the country) — did suffer physical injuries.
Several days before the planned celebration, Women of the Wall submitted a request to Western Wall Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz — whose organization is responsible for protocol at the site — requesting that the group be allowed to use loudspeakers on Friday morning to accommodate the large number of supporters expected at the special prayer service. Many of them were coming from abroad. Rabinowitz rejected the request, saying it was a violation of local custom for women to use loudspeakers at the Western Wall.
In a follow-up letter on behalf of Women of the Wall, a representative of the Attorney General’s Office notified Rabinowitz that he was mistaken and it was not a violation of local custom for women to use loudspeakers at the Kotel. If he planned to prevent the women’s group from using loudspeakers during the service, the letter strongly urged Rabinowitz to ban the use of loudspeakers in the men’s section as well. However, the rabbi chose to disregard this recommendation and as soon as Women of the Wall began its prayer service, he allowed loudspeakers to be used in the men’s section, thereby drowning out the sounds of the women’s voices.
Haaretz asked Rabinowitz for comment, but no response had been received by press time.
The driving force behind Friday morning’s attacks against Women of the Wall is believed to be a religious, right-wing movement known as Hazon (Hebrew for “Vision”). The movement, founded by a group of West Bank settlers and rabbis, has specifically targeted the LGBT community, Reform Judaism and the Women of the Wall group.
Hazon is behind a controversial new billboard that equates the Reform movement with assimilation, calling to “Keep the Western Wall normal.” Its ad says “Reform Grandpa = Assimilated Dad = Goy Grandson
A progressive Jewish-American organization with the same name last week issued a cease-and-desist letter demanding that the Israeli group immediately stop calling itself Hazon.
The CEO of the American organization, Nigel Savage, said that his organization “works to create a healthier and more sustainable Jewish community, and a more sustainable world. We’re proud of our work and of our good name, and it is frankly distressing to see our name being attached to billboards and pronouncements that so radically stand against all that we have done, and all that we have tried to do, since our founding in 2000.”

GEOGRAPHICAL FOCUS 2021
The Epica Awards season just ended and after crunching the numbers, some additional facts emerged from the creative prize judged by the press. Key among them, the Independent Agency of the Year was Zulu Alpha Kilo, with three Golds, three Silvers and six Bronzes. It was followed in the indie top three by Rethink, then Cossette, all from Canada. As previously announced, McCann Worldgroup was Network of the Year, while &co./NoA was effectively Agency of the Year, closely followed by Zulu Alpha Kilo and Serviceplan Germany.
The Epica Awards Geographical focus, yearly ranking of agencies by country and region is now available here: https://www.epica-awards.com/news/geographical-focus-2021
This year the Epica Awards received 3184 entries from 64 countries, a dramatic increase on the difficult year before (1980 entries) and close to the 2019 level. The highest number of entries came from the United States (206) followed by Germany (200).
Mark Tungate, Editorial director commented: “The entries this year seemed to reflect a general feeling of positivity in the industry, at least compared to 2020. The jury seemed to feel it too: it didn’t surprise me that the two Film Grand Prix were both uplifting, from the humour of &Co./NoA with its funny road safety campaign - about a viking who refuses to wear a helmet - to the superbly choreographed “Festive”, by RiffRaff Films, for Burberry. Dance was one of the trends I spotted, by the way. The number of print entries has been slowly decreasing over the years, but I was pleased to see that the excellent print campaign by Leo Burnett for McDonald’s also got a Grand Prix. The general trend is away from traditional advertising towards experiences, events and digital solutions. Many of these are amazing, but I’m glad we can still celebrate a great film or an eye-catching poster.”

IND1: Research Hakari and in your own words describe what you find. Also, provide your own reflection on the potential or role of Kai in a celebratory context.Consider this from a Māori, Pākehā or other cultural or personal perspective. 200 WORDS.
I found the whakapapa of food was after rangi and papa earth mother and sky father where pushed apart by their children then Tāwhirimātea one of the sons defeated four of his brothers and used them as food thus creating food and feasts. Food is noa and can change a thing from tapu to noa.
In my research of Hakari I found how “Hākari is intended to neutralise tapu following a pōwhiri, tangihanga, or any event where levels of tapu are elevated (Mead, 2016).” It is the “ritual feast that lifts the tapu of death and allows mourners to incorporate themselves back into the common world.” I found that a Hakari is a place to reconnect with people and share what you have. It is all about seeing what and who you have around you and reflecting on what you’ve done or had. It's about appreciation and love for others. When you sit and have a meal with people you are sharing and connecting with people around you and moving to a noha state as you reconnect after that tapu event such as a funeral.
Kai is served to bring people together to celebrate the end of events and eras. Different foods signify different events in many cultures. Food acts as a vessel for socializing and reconnecting and acts as the center point for many celebrations. In my experience every aspect from shopping, making and preparing the food is a big part of a celebration. The biggest that comes to mind is Christmas. Going shopping for the food, figuring out what we are going to have, what we are making and what other friends and family are taking is just as significant as making and eating the food together. It's almost like food builds up anticipation for celebration. In my case I’m not a practicing Christian so I don't even believe in the thing I’m celebrating, unless you count the morals Christmas imparts like coming together and being grateful that I think most people believe in so this one feast everyone comes together for is the center point of the day. Food is something everyone can relate to. We all eat it so it makes sense that it's the easiest gift to give and way to show you care.

Animal Boyfriend Play Guide- General Politeness Tips
There’s several things in Animal Boyfriend that are considered polite and rude behavior. Most people follow the common courtesy of returning advice, recommendations, socializations, JIN, and comments (A/R/S/J/C), but there’s a few other nuances to keep in mind.
Memos
One big point for being polite is being mindful of memos. This applies to what you put in yours and taking the time to read what is in other’s. You’ll see lots of different things listed or requested in the student’s memos. Most of them will either list what they want/don’t want or have a role play going (RP) going with another player. A fair amount of the RPs that you’ll encounter are sexual in nature and have as explicit content as the game’s filters will allow, but some of them are PG13. If you are doing an RP with another player, please leave the sex out. The audience in Animal Boyfriend (AB) is varied and there are quite a few that are offended or too young to be exposed to this content. If you wish to have an RP that is sexual, simply take it to one of the many social media or messaging places. Aside from RPs, you’ll also see the various notes about what players want you to do with their students. These are very important to pay attention too. ‘Going too fast’ is NOT an excuse for laziness, disrespect, or inability to pay attention. There are several reasons why people will not want various things done. If you are trying to rank in the Daily Socializer Ranking (DSR), then please be sure to check the comment option (great, thanks, sorry) BEFORE you click anything else. If you break your habit of first clicking advice or rec, you’ll be able to catch the memo requests and people will be more likely to be happy with you and return your socialization.
Advice
The reason people get so upset over unwanted advice is because the game actually punishes you for missing it. If you don’t cheer your student before they finish work/study, their affection will drastically drop. Remember AB does not have notifications like the other Ambition Games do so people don’t know they received advice. When affection drops, you will miss level up events. If you miss a level up event, then your boy will not confess. The conversations also change when affection lowers, but missing the confessions is the number one reason why people do not want advice at certain times. Please, please be mindful of this and do not let advice be the first thing you click on when visiting other students. You’ll see memos like noA@200 or <10min, A@200 or <10min okay, noA@<10min, noA!, no advice!, and so on to indicate the type of advice people want. Also remember if you see busy, zzz, asleep, off, and things like this then the person is not on the game and may not be able to check their boy. Do not advice in this instance either.
Recommendations
One of the other things you’ll see in people’s memos are requests about how they’d like their recommendations (rec/s). There many people who are trying to level and will want a full rec and many people that do not like recs and can’t afford to buy the rec blocking. If you see a request for a full rec, please honor it. This is probably someone trying to level as quickly as possible, or someone who just likes seeing their boy dressed up. More frequently you’ll see things like ‘no face/hair rec’. This means they player wants an accessory only rec. The main reason for this request is they want their boys to look like the character they created, but they don’t mind seeing different outfits on them. A few people are like myself and can’t stand recs. To be mean for a moment here, I don’t like recs because many people just throw whatever items they recently got on their boys with no regards to aesthetics (i.e. they look like someone went to a thrift store and are trying to make themselves into an ugly clothes monster….). I can buy rec blocking every month, but not everyone can so please if someone has no recs in their memos, please don’t give them a rec.
One other thing on recs, giving one items recs is considered rude. Granted there isn’t a penalty for players that get or give one item recs like there is in Dream Girlfriend, but it’s still considered rude.
JIN
Another thing you might see is requests for JIN. Though most people anymore have hoards of the stuff (I’m sitting over 100,000 JIN…) you’ll see newer players asking for this. You don’t have to buy something off a student and give them JIN if you don’t want to, but it is considered courteous. Also, if someone gives you JIN, it’s considered polite to return the favor and buy something from them as well.
Socializations
The final things to keep in mind are around socializations (socs). There isn’t as much drama in the game around this as there used to be, but there’s a few things that are considered common courtesies and no nos. One that bugs me is don’t soc mule accounts (accounts that no one plays). You’ll see a lot of these guys on the DSR and it drives me nuts because those shiny gacha tickets can go to accounts that are actually played and not to accounts that no one uses. Also, it is polite to return socs. Granted if you are busy this might not happen (I’m really bad about returning socs just ‘cause I don’t have time for it). Some weird no nos about socing are called soc stealing. The DSR competition isn’t what it used to be and I haven’t seen as much drama around it as there used to be so I’m guessing this isn’t as much of a thing, but people used to get their garters in a bunch if you soc stole or soc stalked. Basically soc stealing or soc stalking is going through someone’s memos and socing everyone that gives them a soc, advise, rec, or comment. Silly yes, but at the time this was a big thing because you needed over 9,000 (no pun intended) socs to beat out the inactive accounts and get the top DSR slots. So competition like that made some people antsy.
Retaliation
So, if you’ve ever gotten that hateful player that changed their name to something to specifically insult you and called you out in their memos, chances are you were rude enough to ignore that hateful player’s memos and they are trying to get back at you. I consider both sides at fault here and both players to be rude, but you shouldn’t be too mean about the players that ignore other’s memos. Honestly there are people that will purposely do exactly what your memos say you don’t want. I’ve been given two ‘excuses’ for this behavior. One is ‘no one pays attention to my memos so I purposefully ignore other’s memos’ and the the other is ‘I only do it to rude players’. No matter the justification, don’t disregard memos. Aside from being disrespectful, there are in game penalties for missing things like cheering. Be nice everyone and respect one another.

Behaalotecha -Judaism Unchanged
This week’s parsha begins with instructions for Aharon the Kohen Gadol on how to light the Menorah (Candelabrum) in the Mishkan (Tabernacle).
Hashem tells Moshe to instruct Aaron: “When you kindle the lamps, toward the face of the Menorah shall the seven lamps cast light” (see Bamidbar 8:1-2). This means that the wicks in the three lamps on either side of the Menorah should turn toward the middle lamp.
Subsequently the Torah tells us that “Aharon did so”, i.e. he followed G-d’s instructions. Rashi quotes a Midrash which teaches that these words "Aharon did so" mean “to tell the praise of Aharon, that he did not change”.
This Midrash is difficult to understand because Aharon was an exceedingly righteous and holy person, and he would never consider changing and deviating from what Hashem instructed him to do! So what then is the great “praise” that the Midrash is telling us about Aharon that “he did not change”?
Much ink has been spilled by the great Torah commentators to answer this question. Two insightful explanations from the great Chassidic masters will help us to understand this episode:
The Kotzker Rebbe, Reb Menachem Mendel Morgenstern ZT”L (1787–1859), explains that the praise of Aharon the Kohen Gadol was that in all his years of kindling the Menorah in the Mishkan - he did it every single day for 39 years straight(!) - he “never changed” from the way that he lit the Menorah the very first time, when he was so full of enthusiasm and zealousness. This mitzvah never became a routinary task for him but remained fresh and exciting to him all those years.
Rabbi Meir’l of Premishlan ZT”L (1783–1850) offers a different interpretation of the Midrash. He writes that Aharon’s praise was that even though he was the High Priest and on a very high spiritual level, he “never changed” to become arrogant and haughty like so many others who attain high positions of authority but remained the same humble and beloved person that he always was.
In more recent history, this enigmatic Midrash has been used to eulogize a great Torah scholar and leader of the Jewish people - with a message that has profound relevance for our times.
Rabbi Aaron Kotler ZT”L (1895-1962) was one of the very few Torah giants who contributed mightily to the transformation of the face of North American Jewry in the middle of the twentieth century from one of Jewish ignorance and mourning over the Holocaust to significant progress in Torah knowledge and Mitzvah observance and rebuilding all that was lost in the war.
After world war two traditional observance in America was on the decline. Many said that Orthodoxy was doomed, that it was only viable in the Old Country but not here in the New World, and that its archaic and backward system of ideals and rituals would never survive and thrive in the modern era. Only by changing the Torah and making compromises to accommodate the new reality could there be any hope for observant Judaism.
But Rav Aaron proved everyone wrong. He dedicated his life, night and day, to the rebuilding of Yeshivot, the disseminating of true Torah values, and the strengthening of mitzvah observance in North America just like the way it was practiced in Europe before the war and going back thousands of years.
He chose Lakewood, New Jersey, as the site for his new Yeshiva in America, because its location, far from the distractions of New York City, would enable his students to concentrate on their studies. In 1943, Rav Kotler founded Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood Township, with only 15 students. Upon the death of his father-in-law, Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer, he inherited his father-in-law's position of rosh yeshiva of Etz Chaim Yeshiva of Jerusalem. In an unusual arrangement, he held this position while continuing to live in America, and visiting Jerusalem occasionally. Today, his grandson, Rabbi Zevulun Schwartzman, heads a kollel located at Etz Chaim Yeshiva. By the time Rav Aaron passed away, the yeshiva had grown to 250 students, and they were beginning to have a major impact on Torah education in America.
Rav Aharon once wrote, "The great benefit that a Yeshiva brings to the Jewish people accrues to the entire nation, even to those who have distanced themselves from the Torah's ways. For the Torah and its scholars are the heart of the nation..."
Rav Aharon's efforts ultimately made a deep imprint upon American Jewry. Many thousands received a solid Torah education in or because of the Lakewood Yeshiva and its many branches. [The Yeshiva is now headed by Rav Aharon’s grandson, Rabbi Malkiel Kotler shlit”a, and has well over 6500 students enrolled!] Today, due to the efforts of Rav Aaron and others, Orthodoxy is not just surviving but thriving, with many vibrant, Torah-observant communities all around the world, all of whom are following in the ways of their predecessors in prewar Europe without compromise.
Rabbi Aharon Kotler died in New York City on November 29, 1962. A funeral service for Rav Kotler at the Congregation Sons of Israel Kalwarier on Manhattan's Lower East Side drew 25,000 mourners, with 200 officers from the New York City Police Department assigned to the event, which was described by the congregation's president as the largest gathering of mourners in his experience. The 700 seats in the sanctuary were reserved for notables. In an atmosphere described as being reminiscent of Yom Kippur, eulogies for Rav Kotler were delivered by Rabbi Moshe Feinstein and by the Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Joel Teitelbaum, among others.
In his eulogy, the Satmar Rebbe evoked the words of the aforementioned Midrash - “to tell the praise of Aaron, that he did not change” - to describe the remarkable accomplishment of Rav Aaron Kotler in rebuilding Torah-true Judaism in North America after the Holocaust.
The Satmar Rebbe said, “I am here to tell the praise of [Rav] Aharon, that he did not change, i.e. in all Rav Aharon’s efforts to rebuild Torah, he never once compromised or tried to change the Torah or Judaism in any way, and always stayed true to the ancient and timeless observances and traditions that he brought with him from Europe.” Le Iluy nishmat Eliahu ben Simcha, Mordechai ben Shlomo, Perla bat Simcha, Abraham Meir ben Leah,Moshe ben Gila,Yaakov ben Gila, Sara bat Gila, Yitzchak ben Perla, Leah bat Chavah, Abraham Meir ben Leah. Refua Shelema of Yaacov ben Miriam, Gila bat Tzipora, Tzipora bat Gila, Dvir ben Leah, Elimelech Dovid ben Chaya Baila, Noa bat Batsheva Devorah and Dovid Yehoshua ben Leba Malka.
