OH … those artist teachers/YouTubers weren’t lying about ‘do thumbnails’ and ‘draw like a painter’ advice..
#I was watching a video on composition high and something in my brain clicked#for so long I’ve been drawing in a sketchbook and using that sketch as a base and cropping the image#and thinking that was ‘composition’#no… I really ought to create ‘frames’ for my sketchbook drawings now to practice#I’ve been in a progression slump for years and it feels like I finally have something to train in that I know I can do
