Zootopia has done irreparable damage to the perception of beastars bc for some reason people think they're trying to talk abt the same thing when if u actually watch/read beastars you'll know that's not it in the slightest

#not to mention how HARMFUL it is to see it that way 😭#Like “yeah let me just equate the group that consistently exploits and kills the other to minorities! Surely this is what was intended!”#Like idk what world ur living in where oppressors live their lives in genuine fear of the oppressed but that's kinda crazy to imply and jus #-say ur okay with #when the carnivores literally seem to represent privilege more than anything #which like. idk doesn't exactly scream minority to me.#no wonder u think beastars is bad if ur taking it SO the wrong way 😭#this was probably worded bad but I did just wake up
