sooo my babies @imalwaysaslutfordrag​ & @artificialortega​ tagged me to make my top 7 albums (both knowing i have the most basic music taste sdfghjk) and after serious deliberation here i am!! i’m only tagging @plastiquetiaras​ cause i LIVE for her music taste, but anyone else that wants to PLS do it and tag me! i love discovering new music!!!  Read me try to defend my most basic choices under the cut  ps. i was SO TEMPTED to just put Lorde & Lana up there lol 

Melodrama - Lorde 

surprising NO ONEEEEEEEEE, my fave album ever and I have a tattoo to prove it. and a phonecase asdfgh. is just so ugh, so perfect to me and it came in the right period of time in my life that i related to every single word on that whole record. the lyrics and the SOUNDS oh god the sounds, i discover new things on every listen i swear. so cohesive and artistic, a masterpiece! album faves: Sober, Sober II, hard feelings, Supercut, perfect places, Liability, EVERY SINGLE ONEEEEEE

Norman Fucking Rockell - Lana del Rey

it might be hard to believe but I wasn’t a Lana stan. yes i loved summertime sadness and liked a few songs but that was it. and then this album came and BOOM. I remember I didn’t fell in love at the first listen, or maybe even the second, but somehow this became the only thing i listened to for daaaaaaaaays. even know a year later i haven’t got tired of it, not even a little bit. is a very Timeless piece and a total mood. the poetry and visuals and just ughhhhh i’m so so so in love with it. still mad it didn’t win a grammy.  album faves: Cinnamon Girl, Mariners apartment complex, Happiness is a butterfly, The greatest, California, How to dissapear, ALL OF THEMMMM, the only one i ever skip is Hope is a dangerous thing and just because I think i listened to it so much when it came out as a single 

Dangerous Woman - Ariana Grande 

ok I was debating between this one and sweetner and thank u next but somehow this one won akskdkd. this era is Iconic and full of bops that just make me want to dance and in fact feel like a very dangerous woman so mission accomplished. 

album faves: be alright, bad decisions, leave me lonely, touch it, sometimes 

Ctrl - SZA

if you don’t have the pleasure of knowing SZA PLEASEEEEEE do. the little voice notes through the album are just perfection, it really tells a whole story. the lyrics are so deep and intimate, and just very very honest which i love. 

album faves: love galore, drew barrymore, brocken clocks, 20 something 

you ruined new york city for me  - FLETCHER

I LOVE FLETCHER SO MUCHHHHHH, she is a legend icon star, anyone that puts out an album called the S(ex) tapes is iconic to me kdkfglh. no but honestly i love her music so much, the level of ANGST AND UNRESOLVED FEELINGS AHHHHH, i love it here, is pretty much all i listened to lately.  album faves: is a short ep so literally all 5 of them, if you’re gonna lie, undrunk, all love, about you, strangers 

Lemonade - Beyonce

this albums remains iconic and i wasn’t planning to add it, but the fact that it’s been like 4 years and I still listen to it at least once a month? yep, lemonade is that bitch. 

album faves: hold up, daddy lessons, sorry, all night, formation

Fine Line - Harry Styles

this last spot was SO DIFFICULT FOR ME, I ended up choosing fine line cause I love how is very very clear the whole journey throught the album, how it begins from this one bright spot with Golden to end with Fine Line. it has great bops and great sad sad songs, and i’m sure a lot of you are tired of hearing about it but is really GOOD!! take it from me, someone who never listened to one direction.
