"Could you at least pretend like you're watching?" Carlos said, gazing at you as you scrolled through your phone.
You clicked the device off and slid it into your pocket.
"I'm sorry Carlos I'm just not really as interested in this as you are..." you paused. "I mean if I want to make it into F1 I gotta train right? I should be on the sim right now."
"C'mon," he groaned. "You're a Sainz, of course you're going to make it. Relax a little. Enjoy the game, please?"
You rubbed your eyes and sighed, "I'll try."
You crossed your arms and watched the game unfold. One of the Barcelona players scored a goal and went sprinting past you into a knee slide. He really caught your eye and you couldn't help but watch him the rest of the match.

Open Arms
Two players, one last name. Only one of you is suffering from the legacy attached to it
Alexia Putellas x sister!reader
masterlist
Warnings: angst and/or hurt + bit of an inconclusive ending lol not happy or sad kinda just… 🫠
A/N: more alexia angst in the place of aapa pt. 4! heavily inspired by open arms by sza, and i highly recommend that you listen to it because this will make a whole lot more sense if you do + it’s amazing. this song is so dear to my heart and honestly one of my favourites ever, so i had to write something inspired by it because the meaning is so deep and interpretable in many ways. this is just one of them :)
You thought that playing for Barcelona was your lifelong dream.
It was a picturesque scene; two players sharing the same last name stepping onto the pitch in the same jersey. It had been your dream at one point, until you realised the influence of your sister was leading you to believe that.
This set something off in you, like it triggered a chain reaction of thoughts and epiphanies that led up to the inevitable.
It was so hard to shine as your own individual self, when all you were credited for was the name on your back and the uncanny resemblance you had to Alexia. You were good, you were so good, but nobody ever noticed. You knew it would stay like this forever if you didn’t do something for yourself.
You could remember your hometown of Mollet de Vallès to be a place that was rife with FC Barcelona pride; it would’ve been the ultimate betrayal to your neighbourhood if you hadn’t elected to play for the club. It would be the ultimate betrayal to leave them, as well.
You were born and raised in Barcelona. The culture, the people, the club, all of it was surely intertwined into your soul. That wouldn’t stop you from running away from every bit of it and breaking out of the manacles this city held you in.
If it wasn’t for your sister and the fact that all your years spent at the club was deeply rooted in the love you had for her, you would’ve been gone ages ago.
At first, you thought you were just having one of those days when nothing felt like it was going your way, but the feelings persisted and you became more acutely aware of the real problem — you were staying for Alexia, and her feelings were beginning to come above your career and self-esteem.
You could only spend so much time in the dark before you started craving the light. Living in her shadow was simply not good enough. You had spent enough of your life feeling hopeless.
Being on the same team as her meant that the closest you’d ever get to being called good is comparisons to your sister. Alexia was La Reina. Alexia was everything. You? Well… you were barely anything if not Alexia’s little sister, the other less impressive Putellas.
Talks with your agent made the decision you had to make crystal clear; you could continue to be downplayed as long as you stay at Barcelona, or you could leave the club and feel what it’s like to be appreciated for the skill you possess instead of your relations to Alexia.
The hardest part of this entire thing? Telling her.
You could pack your things and book your plane tickets, call your agent and tell him to start negotiating with clubs, let the board know that you’re leaving for good and never turning back, but breaking the news to Alexia was easier said than done.
When you were in her kitchen one night, bearing a burden on your shoulders, you hesitated to speak. The knowledge of your career at Barça coming to an end after one more match was severing your tongue, preventing you from speaking, and eventually you’d cave beneath it and keep it all to yourself until Alexia found out in the worst way possible. The deal was done, you put pen to paper, and you were set to join Bayern Munich. All that was left to do was tell Alexia.
Bayern Munich, so far away from Barcelona, it was perfect. You could restart and build a name for yourself, completely separated from your family name. Even if Alexia did get angry, you would be in Germany within the next month (give or take a week), so what did it matter?
Part of you had faith that she’d understand, recognise your intentions and not take it to heart. The entirety of you hoped and prayed for that.
“Alexia,” you started, turning around in your seat at the dining table to look at her while she poured herself a glass of water. She hummed in response to you, as to indicate that she was listening.
“I’m leaving the club. I’ve signed it — the contract — and it’s done. I’m going to Bayern.”
She turned off the faucet suddenly, standing at the sink with her back to you. Her grip on the glass tightened ever so slightly, and you could hear the deep breath she took.
“What?” she mumbled, turning around to look at you with eyes narrowed in disbelief. You glared at the table, nodding your head slightly.
“I’m going to Bayern,” you repeated, looking up to meet her now widened eyes as she placed her glass down. “I’m leaving Barça.”
She glanced at you, her eyes softening for a moment, and you could tell that she was barely registering the news.
“You can’t,” she responded, “Barça is your home, we belong here, both of us–”
There went any chances of her understanding you. That other part of you that knew she wouldn’t be rational about this, had been proven right. “You belong here, Alexia. I don’t,” you shot back, pointing at her with an almost accusing finger.
“What’s wrong with the club?” Alexia snapped. You glared at her, your angered façade crumbling away to reveal the true sadness that remained behind it.
“This club is your dream, (Y/N). I mean, I don’t get it,” she laughed, her expression seeping with disbelief, “You love it here, I love you here– don’t you remember? We used to talk about retiring here together, assisting each other and scoring from each other’s passes. Remember how you’ve always wanted to score a bicycle kick off one of my corners? Why do you want to leave, when we haven’t done all this, when there’s still so much for us to achieve?”
It wasn’t her fault that everyone kept you in the dark. Alexia would never want you at Barça if she knew this was going to happen. Still, you couldn’t cave now. There was no use in regretting anything, because it was done. Maybe if you had told her about your plans to leave, you would’ve felt this regret earlier, and things would’ve been different. Empty ‘what-ifs’ only reminded you that it was too late.
But still, her plea to make you stay was solely built on whatever regarded her. Not a single thing about what you wanted to do was taken into consideration.
“Tell me what made you want to leave, and I’ll make them change it. Just don’t ruin your career by leaving,” she continued.
“You know what?” you started, standing up so you were eye-to-eye with your sister, “I thought you out of all people would understand, but no. You’re selfish, Alexia. This is what’s best for me, I can’t stay here if I want to be any good!”
You were yelling, and you never liked to yell, but it felt like the only way to properly convey your feelings to the woman.
“I’m not even second best to you. Sometimes I feel like I’m only kept at this club to make you look good, and I am so, so sick of it. For years I’ve– I have no confidence left, no sense of pride in myself, I barely ever feel happy wearing this jersey because it’s always been your dream, not mine! I’m not the Putellas that belongs here, everyone knows that, so don’t try to make me stay because this is my only chance to be great. I want to be great, Alexia, and you should know better than anyone what it’s like to want that.”
It was only normal that you began to tear up amidst your words, and they trembled on your waterline as you spoke.
Alexia looked defeated.
More than anything, she felt unbridled amounts of guilt running rife through her. She wanted to reach out to you, hug you, tell you that everything would be alright and she never looked at you as a dim light that made hers look brighter, but she was glued to the spot, her muscles twitching and urging her to step forward with no avail.
“I love you, and I’ve stayed all this time for you. Honestly, I never even wanted to stay. You’re the only one that’s holding me down.” It was like a huge weight had been lifted off your shoulders, and in its place sat a mix of relief and guilt.
Alexia stayed silent, only a singular tear slipping down her cheek, the start of many that she would shed behind closed doors that night. It was more than just losing a teammate to her, and she wasn’t so emotional because her sister was leaving; it was the realisation that she didn’t know you very well in the first place, and the culpability of realising that she really had been holding you down.
That conversation was one of the last you had with Alexia in person. You played one last match for the Blaugrana, and then you left for Germany the following week.
Even weeks of knowing prior to your final match couldn’t soften the blow as Alexia stood on the pitch, clapping for you as you waved goodbye to the fans and teammates alike, tears brimming in your eyes that were akin to the ones rolling down her cheeks.
She walked up to you, and she embraced you like she never has before, like you were disappearing into nothingness instead of another country. You gripped her tightly, savouring the hug and trying to memorise the feeling, and when she pulled away, she had a pensive smile on her face.
“If you ever want to come back to me, I’ll always be right here with open arms. Cuídate, hermana.”

alexia x reader something... slips out accidentally. alexia is more into it than you expected. smut. 18+
cw: mami kink. breeding kink. thigh riding. fingering. strap on use. dom/sub dynamics. praise kink.
-----
Both you and Alexia had been busy beyond belief in recent weeks. So, when she slid out of bed early on the day you were both supposed to have off, you latched onto her shirt and refused to let go.
“Amor, I have to go,” Alexia whispered, although she slid back into the warm cocoon of blankets, and wrapped you back up in her arms.
“No. Stay.” You grumbled, tightening your arms and wrapping your legs around her too, for good measure.
“I have to go,” she repeated, kissing your temple and attempting to slide out of your grip. You were about to remind her that neither of you had training that day, when you remembered somewhere in your sleep-hazed brain that Alexia had mentioned coaching a game at the Barça academy that morning. An idea found its way into your brain, and you forced yourself to sit up, allowing Alexia to escape the bed. She looked at you suspiciously as she headed for the bathroom, never having seen you give in so easily. In fact, she still had 10 minutes to lay in bed with you, having set her alarm early because she knew you’d capture her for more cuddles.
“I’m coming with you.” You declared, smiling happily at your girlfriend when she poked her head out of the bathroom, a slight frown on her face.
“Bebita, you will be bored, and you will distract me.” Alexia was referring to your rather interesting habit of watching Alexia. There was a certain look you got on your face when Alexia took charge on the pitch that made her crazy. You both kept it under control when you played together, but when one of you was out injured or on the bench, there were few games that didn’t end in rather passionate sex once you arrived home. You both loved to watch each other, and you really loved to watch Alexia be in charge. This was why Alexia absolutely did NOT trust you to accompany her to coach this youth game.
“No, I won't, I promise. I’ll sit in the stands the whole time. No one will even know I’m there. ”
Alexia simply raised her eyebrow at you doubtfully, before turning away to head to the closet. You scrambled out of the bed and followed after her, wrapping your arms around her abdomen. She chuckled, but continued to rifle through her sweatshirts, picking out the right Barça one for the day.
You kissed her shoulder blade, peeking out from the small tank top she was wearing. “Please, Ale. We’ve barely seen each other these past few weeks. I miss you.”
Alexia melted, turning around and wrapping her arms tight around you. “Okay, bonita. If you promise not to distract me.”
-----
You’d had every intention not to distract your girlfriend, really you did. Watching her with the kids, though, was much more challenging than you expected. It wasn’t stern Alexia that you got; it was soft Alexia, and it was making something inside of you melt into a puddle.
Alexia with a whistle slung around her neck, leading the very little kids through some basic drills. Patiently directing them around the pitch. Very softly kicking the ball in their direction. Shouting words of encouragement every second, even when it was just in response to one of the kids falling down and getting up.
Alexia, standing on the side lines, whistle caught in her mouth, hands on her hips, taking the match just a touch too seriously.
Alexia in a tight pair of athletic shorts, ass on full display, although it always was, regardless of what she was wearing.
Alexia rushing onto the pitch when one of her players fell; it was nothing more than a scraped knee, but she carried the sniffling boy off the field and over to his parents, ensuring him that he was being very brave.
You’d never really gotten the appeal of being pregnant before. And sure, you wanted kids, but you’d never craved them, never desperately wanted to watch your partner turn into a parent with you. Sat in the stands, though, watching Alexia interact with these kids like she was born to do it, you rethought all of that.
You were staring, and you knew it, eyes firmly trained on your girlfriend as she turned around, bringing her shirt up to wipe at her face. It was a hot day, and she was standing directly in the sun. Her eyes caught yours as she did so, lips pulling up into a very small smirk, before she turned back around, taking a sip of water. You realized your mouth was, embarrassingly, hanging open. The things Alexia could do to you, without even trying; it wasn’t fair.
The midfielder could feel your eyes on her for the remainder of the match, and she struggled to stay focused. Her mind, too, was elsewhere, somewhere in the future. Where she was coaching your guys’ kid, with you watching proudly from the sidelines. She wanted it, desperately, and it caught her off guard. The rest of the match passed slowly as both of you were eager to get home. Even though you’d known what you’d been signing up for when you forced Ale to let you come watch, you couldn’t help but feel a little starved for attention. It was ridiculous, but you weren’t one to shy away from the things you wanted. So, when the match ended, and Alexia led the kids to shake hands with the other team, you headed down, impatiently waiting for her. The hug you brought her into was one that belonged at the end of a difficult match, not at the end of a children’s match where most of the goals were accidental.
“Hola,” she sang softly in your ear, feeling you inconspicuously press a light kiss to her neck. Your lips didn’t leave, though, and Alexia pulled you back, giving you a warning look.
“You are all red, amor, are you warm?” The question was paired with an adorable look of concern washing over her face; Alexia was always very aware of your less than impressive heat tolerance, and she grabbed the hat you were holding in your hand, placing it on top of your head.
You were warm, but the redness was due more to Alexia’s close contact with your body, when you were already very aware of her, than the heat, although it wasn’t helping.
“It’s warm out.” You agreed anyway, before smiling innocently up at her. “Can we go home, baby?”
Alexia’s lips twitched. “Of course.”
-----
Alexia had parked in a different parking lot than the rest of the attendees, and by the time you made it over there, you were debating whether you could wait until you arrived home for Alexia to touch you. The way she led you through the parking lot, hand in yours, body hovering protectively in front of you even when there was no one around, was only increasing the deep need for her to do anything to you.
You decided to take matters into your own hands, noticing that the area around you was devoid of other people. When Alexia opened your door for you, something she insisted upon even though you were completely capable of opening your own door, you smacked her ass, climbing into the car like you hadn’t done anything. Alexia jumped slightly, and her eyes narrowed at you as she shut the door behind you.
The minute your girlfriend was in the driver's seat, you were leaning over the center console, attaching your lips to her neck. Alexia exhaled sharply, minutely tilting her head to the side.
“You promised to be good.” She said quietly, and you noted the very slight shake to her voice that told you she was, in fact, feeling the effects of what you were doing to her. You pulled back briefly, nipping at her ear as you did so.
“Are you not enjoying this?”
“It does not matter. You promised to be good, and you are breaking that promise.” She warned, gently shoving you back to your seat. You blinked at her, not used to the hard edge her voice had taken on.
“Ale,”
“No. You will take what I give you at home.”
You couldn’t pretend the way Alexia was looking at you disapprovingly wasn’t filling you with arousal. As badly as you wanted to be good for her, you also desperately wanted her to make you be good for her. And it seemed this was her plan.
-----
You trailed into the house behind her, not quite sure what to expect when you were behind closed doors. It wouldn’t be the first time Alexia was rough with you, and you enjoyed it. Something seemed different, though, and there was a tension in the room you couldn’t quite identify. Or, if you could, you weren’t quite willing to admit it yet.
Alexia backed you up against the wall just inside the front door, her face mere inches from yours, capturing your wrists in her hands and pinning them behind you. She was looking at you, sternly, but also so… softly. Like she would take care of you, even if she made you work for it first. Your stomach was filled with butterflies, in a way it hadn’t been in a while around her. You were beginning to have an idea of what you wanted, you just weren’t quite sure she wanted it too.
“You have been very bad today, bonita. I do not know what I am going to do with you.”
“M- Ale, please, take me to bed.” You almost slipped up, and you blinked at your girlfriend, hoping to god that she hadn’t caught it.
Alexia leaned back and was quiet for a moment, her eyes searching yours.“What was that?”
“What was what?” You replied, feeling blood rush to your cheeks, avoiding your girlfriend’s gaze at all costs.
“You almost called me something… it sounded like it started with an M…” Alexia whispered, moving closer to lay kisses on your neck. She knew where your head was at, somehow, as she always did, and she was very on board. It had been something you’d both been thinking about for a while, but neither of you were brave enough to bring it up.
“Alexia,” you whined, struggling to form a single coherent thought.
“That is not my name, amor. Not right now.” She whispered, her teeth capturing your ear and tugging lightly. You went practically limp in her arms, a low keen escaping your lips.
“Mami,” you whispered, feeling Alexia’s grin against the skin of your neck. You realized that Alexia liked the title just as much as you did, if not more.
“There you go, bonita. Mi mala niña, you can listen, hmm?”
“I can, I am listening. I’m your good girl.” You argued, pressing your forehead to the blonde’s somewhat desperately.
Alexia tutted quietly. “You were not listening before. I am not sure you are mí buena niña.”
“I am, mami, I promise,”
You’d barely finished speaking before Alexia was capturing your lips in a heated kiss, her tongue licking into your mouth, her teeth nipping at your bottom lip, in a manner that was almost overwhelming. She pulled away from you with a wet smack, her smile beyond devious as she took in your blown pupils, the downright submissive look on your face.
“You want to prove to me you are my good girl?” She murmured, dragging her finger lightly down one side of your face, watching as your eyes fluttered shut, struggling to answer her.
“Sí, por favor. Let me show you.”
“Vamos, mí zorrita.” With that, Alexia swept you up into her arms easily, throwing you over her shoulder and heading for the bedroom.
It wasn’t unusual for Alexia to take full control, as she was doing as she carefully placed on the ground, removing her clothes and directing you to do the same before scooching up the bed to lean against the headboard. What was new, though, was the feeling filling your body, like Alexia didn’t even need to ask you to do anything; you’d just do it if it was what she wanted. Making Alexia feel good would make you feel good. And Alexia knew better than anyone on the face of the earth what you needed.
So, the minute she gestured for you to move on top of her, you were scrambling forward. Ignoring the slightly condescending smirk Alexia sent your way, and the blush that lit up your cheeks as she did so.
Alexia settled you on one of her thighs, the smooth skin hitting your core perfectly. You barely contained a whine at the contact, and Alexia smirked up at you.
“You are wet for mami, no?”
“Yes, for you, only you,” you stuttered, feeling incredibly turned on considering Alexia had barely touched you at this point.
Alexia’s voice was low and possessive when she spoke next.“You want to make a mess on my thigh, bebé?”
“Yes, please,” you begged, her hands still keeping your hips completely still, even as you tried to grind down against her,
“Yes please what?”
“Fuck, please mami, please,”
“Buena niña,” she replied softly, the quiet, affection filled tone she was using making you fall against her, wrapping your arms around her neck almost desperately. Your motions were stuttering, no rhythm to them. Your head was too empty, your body too aroused to get you where you needed to be. “You need my help, bebé? You need mami to do it for you?”
You thought you might be dying. Everytime Alexia said the word, you crumbled just a little bit more. You’d never felt this desperate, this needy before in your entire life. It was almost beyond words. You just needed her. And at the same time, you couldn’t do it yourself, couldn’t get yourself to move the right way.
“Need you,” you cried out. Luckily, Alexia seemed to take mercy on you, her hands beginning to guide your core to slide against her thigh. She leaned up, pressing her lips to yours in a slow kiss, almost as if she knew you could only take so much at once. It was intoxicating, being pressed up against her, feeling her wet thigh on your dripping cunt, her hands in your hair, her teeth tugging on your lip.
You whimpered pathetically into her mouth, encouraging her to speed her motions up.
“Am I making you feel good, princesa? Tell me.” She murmured, pressing her forehead against yours, her face so close you could feel her hot breath on your lips.
“So good, mami. You feel so good,” you whined, and Alexia almost moaned, too, at how entirely gone you sounded.
“You are being so good for me, hmm? Do you like it when I take control? When I help you get yourself off on my thigh like a needy slut? Does it make your pussy drip, princesa?”
“Jesus christ,” you replied, every word she spoke edging you closer and closer. It had been minutes, only minutes, and you were already about to fall apart on top of Alexia.
“I want you to come on my thigh, sí?” She said lowly, and suddenly, as soon as she said the words, you were teetering on the edge, just one perfect movement away from coming.
“Mami, fuck, please,” you gritted out, teeth clenching together as Alexia worked you harder and harder against her, until your body tensed for a minute, and you fell silent.
“Que buena, princesa, que bonita.” The blonde woman whispered, watching your face in awe as you collapsed against her, breathing heavily. Her hands slowed their movements, until you were left rubbing yourself against Alexia’s thigh very slowly, and very jerkily.
Alexia didn’t wait very long until she was easing you away from her, gripping your face in between her hands.
“I want to fuck you,” she whispered, watching as your breath stuttered. “Can I fuck you?”
“Yes, mami, I need your cock,” you begged, knowing you said exactly the right thing when Alexia rolled you off her with a smirk, and headed for the bedside drawer.
Alexia liked to fuck you from behind, more than anything. She loved your ass, loved to watching it as she fucked you, so you rolled onto your stomach, looking questioningly at her when she tapped your side.
She was kneeled behind you, gazing down with a hungry look on her face. “No, on your back. I want to see your face when I fuck you wide open,”
You barely withheld a moan, then, as you rolled over and spread your legs. Alexia roughly pushed them to the side, settling in between them, and plunging a finger into you without warning.
“Shit,” you cried.
“You are soaked, mi amor. You need mami to fuck you now?” She asked, quickly adding a second finger when it was clear you could take it.
If anything was hotter than calling Alexia mami, it was hearing her call herself mami.
“Need you, mami,” you repeated for what felt like the 8th time so far. It was all you could think or articulate. You just needed her.
When Alexia pressed her cock in, you knew instantly that you wouldn’t be lasting very long. You were already gripping the bed sheets in your hands, and Alexia was already starting an unforgiving pace.
Alexia fucked you harder than she ever had before, her hands pulling your hips to meet her thrusts, her thighs burning, her breath heaving as she worked herself in and out of you. She was getting worked up herself, watching the way her cock disappeared into your dripping cunt, the way your clit throbbed, the way you looked up at Alexia like she was the only other person in the world.
You were so far gone, so lost in the pleasure, and you knew Alexia was getting close too by the way she whimpered every few thrusts, a sound very un-Alexia, but one that made you bite your lip all the same. You wanted more from her, needed more. And what did you have to lose, really?
“In me,” you muttered, almost completely incoherent as Alexia moved herself in and out of you.
“Que?” she asked, not slowing down for even a second.
“Inside me, please,” you begged, blinking up at her with a look in your eyes that she’d never seen before.
Alexia was confused, momentarily. She was already inside of you. She watched you grow closer and closer, suddenly hit with your meaning.
She pressed her hand down on your lower stomach, and your back arched right off the bed. You threw your head back, practically screaming at this point at the sensation.
“Mami, mami, please,” you cried.
“You want me to come inside you?” She gasped, absolutely pounding into you now.
You nodded frantically. “Fill me up, mami, I need it”
“Mierda,” Alexia groaned, she was close too, suddenly, even though normally the friction of the strap wasn’t enough to get her off. Everything you were doing, though, everything you were asking for was almost overwhelming to her, and it was all she could do to keep pumping in and out of you, moving her free hand to circle your clit.
Your voice cut off abruptly, and your eyes slammed shut. You reached for your girlfriend, and she reached for you, too, removing her hand from your stomach and lacing her fingers with yours. Her forehead fell to your shoulder as she got louder than you’d really ever heard her.
“Gonna come, princesa, gonna come in your pretty pussy,” she managed, her words making you shudder underneath her.
It was the most intense thing you’d ever experienced. You felt yourself tighten around Alexia’s cock deep inside you, felt Alexia thrust one more time stop, frantically grinding herself against you as she, too, fell over the edge. Pleasure washed over the both of you, and you held tight to each other, as if your lives depended on it.
When it was over, you fell limp into the mattress, every clenched muscle unclenching as Alexia’s full weight dropped on top of you. It was the most comforting sensation, her hand shakily running through your hair, her hot and rapid exhales on your shoulder blade as she came down. You were still throbbing around her, and it was becoming too much, she was too big, too deep.
“Out, Ale, pull out,” you murmured. Alexia broke out of her mindlessness, sitting up and very delicately removing her cock. You whined deeply when she pulled it out all the way, brow scrunching as you squirmed underneath her.
If someone had asked you your name or what club you played for at that moment, you weren’t sure you’d be able to respond. You weren’t sure you could form words at all, really, only capable of reaching out for Alexia again, and sighing happily when she laid back down, pulling you to lay flush on top of her.
“Are you okay, amor?” She asked after a minute, when you still hadn’t spoken, and your eyes were still shut, face crammed into the crook of her neck.
You only hummed in response, barely registering that she was speaking to you. That was not good enough for your girlfriend, though, and she rolled you both over, until she was hovering over your body again, finger delicately tracing a pattern on your cheek. You opened your eyes, a faint smile on your lips.
“Bonita, are you okay?” She asked again.
“So good, Ale. My god. So so good.” You promised her, your smile only growing when Alexia’s face broke into one of relief.
“Muy buena,” she murmured, ignoring the annoyed whine you let out when she sat up off you. Alexia was undeterred, even when you reached out for her. The blonde left the room, briefly, and you felt your eyes inexplicably filling with tears.
When Alexia returned with a water bottle and granola bar in hand, she quickly grew frantic when she saw the tears dripping down your face. She dropped the items onto the bed, sitting you up and pulling you into her, your back against her chest.
“What is it, what is it?” She asked, panicked, wiping away the tears so gently, you almost started to cry again.
“I don’t know,” you cried, the words somewhere between a sob and a laugh. “I don’t know why I’m crying,”
Again, Alexia deflated, relieved, knowing that she hadn’t upset you. “Okay, that is okay. Drink some water for me please?”
The adorable grin on her face as she held the uncapped water out to you had you reaching for it without question, taking a few sips before handing it back to her.
“You too.” You reminded her. Alexia dutifully took a few sips, placed the bottle back on the table, and manhandled you until you were laying down next to her, her body wrapped around yours.
“Love you, love you, love you, love you,” she murmured in your ear, and you laughed in response, feeling happier than you think you’d ever felt in your whole life.
“I love you so much.” You whispered back, feeling Alexia smile hugely into your neck.
“Mi princesa,” she sighed. “How are you so perfect?”
“Because I’m with you,” you replied easily. “And you’re perfect.”
Alexia disagreed. In fact, she thought the opposite. She wasn’t going to argue with you now though, not after you’d made her deepest desire come true. Instead, she tugged you closer, kissing your neck repeatedly. There’d be time to remind you of your perfection later. Now, though, both of you were drifting closer and closer to sleep, and all Alexia wanted in that moment was to hold you close to her forever.
You’d happily let her.

this has been in my wips for actual weeks im im thrilled to be done with her i hope you like :)

Hey Lucy 🌷
I was wondering if you were open to do some boyfriend/ dating headcanons for the boys you want to write it for?
A/n: This is a headcannon all of the random ideas I came up with over the course of a few days there is no structure too it but I hope you enjoy it anyway
Gavi
- He is as passionate off the pitch as he is on it he always gives his all in everything in life and your relationship is no exception once he's in he's all in and that's what makes him a great boyfriend.
- Anyone that knows Pablo knows he's not much of a talker he's always been quite shy and for a while he was the same around you until he felt completely comfortable around you and he was able to open up. Once he opens up you almost don't recognise him as he will sometimes spend hours just talking at you without any breaks. You love it though as it means he feels comfortable enough around you to break down all the walls he's put up.
- Pablo is incredibly physically affectionate. That is how he shows his love as he often doesn't know how to find the words to express his love for you so he shows it in his own way. This way involves having his arms around you as much as he can and constantly giving you kisses. He probably gives you over 100 kisses each day and he won't settle for any less he makes sure he gives you kisses from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep. Any free time he has is spent with his arms around your waist as there is nowhere he'd rather be than enjoying your company.
- Jealousy is just something that comes with dating Pablo. He's very possessive he doesn't like any other guys flirting with you or even looking at you the wrong way. No matter how subtle these guys try to be he can always tell when they are trying to flirt with you and he will always give them a death stare until they back off. Sometimes he goes too far and tries to stop you talking to other guys but once his jealousy calms down he realises he can't control you and he has to just trust that you'll always come home with him.
- He is obsessed with seeing you wear his Barça or Spain shirts part of it probably comes from his possessiveness and liking you to wear his name on your back. He is always bringing you new shirts any time they are released so half your wardrobe is made up of football shirts. The shirts can't just be any shirts though they are always ones he's worn in matches as then they are special and sometimes he'll even write on the shirts if they are from a special match so that when you wear it you are reminded of that day.
- Pablo has quite a short fuse it doesn't take much to annoy him most of the time but he never gets mad around you. You can tease him like his teammates do but he won't get mad he'll just distract you by kissing you or he gets all shy until you stop. No one understands why he doesn't get annoyed at you but he just doesn't he can't bring himself to shout at you or playfully hit your arm to get you to stop. Something about the mischievous look on your face when you tease him stop any anger from building up in him he just can't bring himself to be mad when you look so cute.
- Pablo doesn't seem like the type of person to think too much about the future but he loves to think about his future with you. His injury reminded him that everything in life isn't a given so it made him appreciate everything he had including you a hell of a lot more. He really started to think about how he wanted to marry you and have kids with you he wants his whole future to be with you. At one point he seriously considered proposing but someone manage to talk sense into him and told him to wait a couple more years until he was back playing and you had finished your degree but it's still something he thinks about a lot.
Pedri
- For a while Pedri wasn't sure he was ready to settle down but as soon as he met you that changed. Suddenly all he wanted was you to be in his life and he knew you wouldn't accept a quick fling but he didn't want that either he wanted you and no one else. Once you two had started dating he couldn't be happier and he wondered why he was so hesitant to live his life that way beforehand but that doesn't really matter now he has you.
- Pedri's family is everything to him so it was important to him that they liked you but there was nothing for either of you to worry about as they all loved you. From the moment you met them his parents loved you like their own child so you became part of the family straight away. Over time you have become so integrated into the family that it's pretty much expected that you'll attend any family event with or without Pedri as the whole family sees you as one of them.
- There is nothing Pedri enjoys more than a quiet night in with you. He's not one for going out and drinking he much prefers to spend the evening on the sofa cuddling with you while watching a movie. Half the time he doesn't even watch the movie he just watched you as you are leaned against his chest while he plays with your hair. After a long day getting to unwind on the sofa with you is all he wants.
- Before meeting you Pedri didn't have the best style but once you got your hands on his wardrobe it improves. He liked seeing you wear his clothes so you had to tell him he needed to get better clothes if he wanted you to wear them and he takes that seriously. He happily lets you go shopping with him to find some new clothes that aren't the hideous skinny jeans he had before which he wasn't sure about but when he sees how much you love his new style he begins to like it more too.
- You were a football and barca fan long before you met Pedri so of course you are a fan of some of the older players. Being the great boyfriend that he is Pedri will get you signed shirts from some of your favourites because he remembers what it's like to be a fan of all these players and now he has the luxury of playing with or against them he likes to take advantage of it. He has managed to get you shirts signed by Busquets, Messi, Neymar and a few others which are proudly in your collection.
- Pedri sometimes gets jealous of you and Nilo, he knew you'd love the dog as you'd been talking about getting a dog for months but he didn't expect to lose his place in bed every night. When he comes home you are always cuddling with Nilo and when he tries to take the dogs place he usually gets growled at or pushed to the side. You do try to teach Nilo not to do that but he doesn't seem to grasp that Pedri was here before he was. Pedri does love to see how much Nilo loves you even though he brought him home and now he's been long forgotten your love for the puppy does make him smile.
- When you move into Pedri's place you can tell that he's the only one who lives there the place is completely devoid of character only what is necessary is there. You completely change that you bring lots of little decorations to have round the place so it feels more homely. To start with he hated it he thought the place looked cluttered but he soon got used to it and started to love seeing all your little touches around the home including your million hair ties and lip balms that you leave everywhere.
Jude
- Jude is very proud of your relationship he truly loves you and he wants to show you off if he can sneak pictures of you onto his Instagram either on his story or his photo dumps he will. Your relationship is private but it's not at all secret if you want to post together you will and if you want to go somewhere together even if you'll be seen you do. You are always at Jude's games wearing his shirt to support him because you supporting him means more than hiding everything from the media and fans.
- He is and always will be your passenger princess even if he learns to drive or you teach him he will still want you to drive everywhere. He just loves to sit in the passenger seat and watch you drive he has a whole album on his phone filled with pictures of you driving. You just have the cutest concentration face that he can't help but stare at as you drive.
- Jude loves to buy you gifts. He's alway coming home with things for you they aren't always big things more often than not it's simple things like flowers or your favourite chocolates but on occasion he will bring home jewellery or other things that he sees that he thinks you'll like. Anything that reminds him of you he will get for you as he loves seeing the smile on your face. Every time you tell him off for spending his money on things for you when you already have enough but he doesn't listen in fact he enjoys watching you try to be mad at him when you actually aren't.
- Since Jude went to Dortmund you made a lot of sacrifices for your relationship and Jude doesn't just sweep that under the rug he really appreciates everything you have done for him and to keep your relationship alive. For him to have his dream you've had to put yours aside but once you move to Madrid he really wants to let you have a go at yours dreams too. He makes sure to support you and help you as you are finally able to finish your education and work towards the career you want so you two can be a proper power couple.
- His family are all really close despite not living all in the same country which is something you really admire. They are all so kind and are willing to help whenever you need them they are truly like a second family to you. Even if Jude's not around they will treat you like part of the family in fact when you go home even if it's just for a day or two they always offer their spare room to you or invite you over for dinner. You always appreciate how they always treat you the same whether Jude is there or not as to you that shows that they really like you.
- Jude is always just the sweetest boyfriend ever. You can never feel insecure when Jude is around as he's always complimenting everything about you until you are a complete blushing mess. He always seems to know when you aren't feeling confident and he'll go to extra effort to make sure you know that you are perfect to him which usually makes you feel better. After realising that what other people say really seems to affect you Jude makes sure that he blocks any accounts that say bad things about you and filters comments on yours and his posts so you aren't as exposed to all the negativity and can be the happy confident person he loves so much.
- You and Jude really grew up together you were so young when you started dating that you really learned who you were and matured together. Jude really helped you come out of your shell as you got older you were always quite shy and would rather let other people do the talking but he encouraged you and helped you become more confident in yourself. It's thanks to him that you are able to talk to people at parties and events that you go to with him and you can stand up for yourself because his confidence rubbed off on you.
Joao
- Joao will be forever grateful that he found you you've been a constant in his life when everything else was changing. He finds comfort in your presence you are the one person he knows he can go to about anything as you always know what to say and how to make him feel better.
- After a few instances of losing you in a crowd he refuses to go anywhere with you without touching you in some way to make sure you are safe. In big crowds he will always have hold of your hand and stand in front of you to lead you through to wherever you are going. Other times he will just have a hand on your waist or your back to keep you close.
- One of the first things that told Joao you were the one was when you met Floki for the first time. Floki can be funny around new people he doesn't always like them and he seems to always be a good judge of character but the second you walked into Joao's place for the first time Floki was running up to you licking all over your face. That dog loved you probably more than him which told him all he needed to know about you as a person and how you would be the one for him if he could just keep you around which he managed to do.
- Joao bought both of you necklaces with your respective initials as sort of a joke gift one Christmas but now he doesn't take his off. Unless he's playing he always wears his necklace with your initial on it even though it's only a cheap necklace he bought as a joke he love always having a piece of you with him. While he's playing and can't wear his necklace you always wear yours as he thinks it brings him good luck and because you like to support him in your own way.
- If there's one thing Joao loves it's a trip somewhere warm when he has any time off and of course you have to come with him or the trip would be no fun. It doesn't matter where you go as long as there's a beach and you bring plenty of pretty sun dressed and bikinis as Joao loves to admire you when you have that sun kissed glow. Holidays with Joao are always great as they are the perfect mix of relaxation and getting to explore wherever you go and he always treats you like a princess the entire time.
- Any big life decisions that Joao has to make he will always tell you about before anyone else. Whenever his agent receives offers from another club or his contract was up for renewal he always discusses it with you as it impacts your life just as much as his. If you even so much as hunt that you aren't happy with him moving to a certain club or country he'll tell his agent to decline the offer because if you aren't happy then he knows he won't be happy. You two are a team and you always come as a pair no matter the situation as that's just how your relationship works.
- Joao loves to learn things from you. You are always leaning something new even if it's just silly little fun facts and Joao loves to hear them. He's learnt so much from you which he's always sharing with other people but he has to make sure they know the facts came from you. He loves when you get obsessed with learning about a new topic and all you do is passionately tell him all about it while you both lay in bed. Sometimes you realise that you are talking a lot and try to stop but he doesn't let you he always asks more questions to get you back talking as he never wants you to feel insecure about one of his favourite quirks of yours.
Ruben
- Ruben is all about commitment, once he knows he has feelings for you he won't talk to any other girls even if you aren't exclusive yet because he knows he wants you and he doesn't see the point in talking to anyone that's not you. Once you are officially together he is well and truly committed you won’t find him texting other girls or commenting on posts that aren't yours because he doesn't want anything to be able to be taken out of context and upset you as he loves you. He's fiercely loyal and you love him for that as it makes you feel much more secure in your relationship.
- He's all about keeping healthy and working out so when you actually agree to join him in the gym or for a run he loves it. On those days he usually gets less done as he's always watching you or spotting you as he teaches you new exercises to work different muscles. Working out is something he enjoys so he likes to do it with you as it's a part of his world he can actually share with you.
- Usually Ruben hates to do nothing he doesn't like sitting still and relaxing but when he's with you he will do it all day. If you want to lay in bed all day and relax he will be right there with you watching silly rom com movies and cuddling you. When he's with you he doesn't find it so boring to do nothing as he enjoys the way you comment on how idiotic some of the characters are and he enjoys just watching your face as you finally get to relax after a long week.
- Ruben will always at least attempt to try out any hobbies you pick up whether it's something simple like reading a book from a series your obsessed with or joining you at a painting class as you've decided you need to be more creative. He will try anything at least once because he likes to know what you do with your free time so when you talk about it he can understand a bit more. It's not often that he sticks with your hobbies as most of them aren't his thing but he also wants you to have things you can do without him he just likes to try them out as you do the same for him.
- Pretty much as soon as you are serious in your relationship Ruben asks you to move in with him. You already spend so much time together and more often than not you sleep over at Ruben's so to him it's a no brainier and it makes your life so much easier. He's so ready for you to move in that by the time you've got boxes together he's already cleared room in his wardrobe and chest of draws for your stuff. He also sets up his spare room as an office for you with no questions asked all of a sudden it's not longer a spare room there's a desk and a computer as well a little decorations he knows you'll like.
- Ruben is your biggest supporter because you are always his. Anything you do he will be right behind you cheering you on whether it's something small like finishing a big project at work or getting a promotion. He will always try to make time to come to your work events like the Christmas party as he knows these sort of events aren't your favourite things and he's more than happy to take over the conversation about how great you are. Of course he doesn't always have time but he will always support you the best he can as he wants you to feel like what you do is just as important as football.
- Some of the best memories you two have together are from your days spend back in Ruben's hometown. Quite early on you got to know his friends and family so whenever you go out there you always have lots of fun. That's not the main reason you love it though it's the getting to spend quality time together without worrying about you having work the next day or Ruben having training. It's not often that you get to spend that much time with Ruben so you always enjoy every second with him and the people he loves the most.

Leganés (Pedri x Reader)
warnings: lots of spanish, whatever last night was, angst because of the team's results, comfort, really short because I have to get back into the grind
Masterlist
"Te juro que me parece de coña ya esto" you watched as you boyfriend stomped around the room, face flushed and anger in his tone as he spoke. (I swear this feels like some sick joke)
Another loss for Barcelona, more dropped points, only 1 game won out of the last five, the perfect October run so far away.
They were in good shape in the Champions, but what did it matter when it felt as if they were throwing away La Liga?
"Y es que encima parece que siempre me toca a mí hablar tras toda la mierda de los partidos, ¿no me pueden dejar llegar tranquilo a casa para llorar?' (To add to it, it seems it's always my turn to speak after these shitty matches. Can't they just let me peacefully come home to cry?)
You hated seeing him like this, he loves Barça and it breaks him whenever things go like this.
He could have been the best on the pitch, yet he always blames himself.
"Si es que soy inútil, ni un gol puedo meter para ayudar al equipo, ¿de que mierda me sirven todos los pases si no puedo encarar a portería?" (I'm useless, can't even score a goal to help the team, what are all those shitty passes for if I can't serve when facing the goalie?)
"Pepi, sabes que no es tu culpa. Hay veces que no se da y no por eso tenemos que perder la fé, todavia queda mucha liga por delante" (Pepi, you know its not you fault. Sometimes things just don't go your way but it doesn't mean we have to lose faith. There is still so much of the league to look forward to)
"Joder pero si es que parecemos dos equipos completamente distintos aquí que en Champions" he sighed, dropping next to you in the couch, head resting on your shoulder "Encima verás Flick mañana, voy a llegar sin piernas a casa, encima nos lo merecemos" (Fuck but it's as if we were two completely different teams here than in Champions... You will see Flick tomorrow, I will be coming back home without legs, and it's worse because we actually deserve it)
"Solo os tocará dejar de confiaros tanto a veces, y dejad de veniros tan abajo, un gol no es el fin del mundo, y al final todos son capaces de remontar" (You all just have to stop being so overconfident, and also stop depressing yourselves, a goal it's not the end of the goal and in the end, everyone can do a comeback)
"Espero que sepas que me tendrás que hacer de portera en casa hasta que me veas metiendo 5 goles por partido" he burrowed his face on your neck, you knew that meant a topic change. (I hope you know you will have to play goalkeeper until you see me scoring 5 goals per game)
"Vamos a dejar a Robert sin trabajo" (We will leave Robert jobless)
You knew how hard it was all for him, he was finally coming back from all those injuries, was playing the best he had in almost years, and to see all his hard work not giving him the expected results, it was depressing him, harming him. You sometimes wished it could always be just you and him cuddling in your couch, no preoccupations to harm you.
You believed in your boyfriend, he only had to believe in himself too, because the problem with Pedri was just that.
Doesn't matter if he had the whole world praising him, if he lost, even if he was playing with a team in the seventh division of some lost country -not the case, you know the team just didn't have the night, Pedri would blame himself even if he scored 100 goals and they lost against 101.
You felt him sigh against your shoulder. His anger phage was over at least, grumpy one starting.
"...¿Querés jugar al FIFA tú como el Barça y yo como el Leganés y destrozarme?" (...You want to play FIFA you as Barça and me as Leganés and completely destroy me?)
"Si, por favor" (Yes, please)

hand-me-downs
a blurb set after GKTTSL and Part Two, though this makes sense without having to read them :)
Very brief warning! There's a hospital trip in here, some mentions of blood and dislocations (😵💫) but nothing terrible, enjoy :)
One of the greatest joys in Alexia’s newfound life as a parent was sharing her passions with her children and seeing them become almost as obsessed as she was. With Anaís, her six year old daughter, the two played and discussed football for nearly all hours of the day, seven days a week. Her relationship with her first child resembled the relationship she had with her father too, something she did not take for granted and most definitely did not tear up at quite frequently. She relished in Anaís’ appreciation for the sport, because she knew it might not last forever, no matter how much she desperately wanted it to.
Wth Oriol, he was a very affectionate, quiet, and caring young boy whose favourite thing in the whole world was being with his family, in any capacity. It was very rare for a toddler to be that way, but he had a lot of separation anxiety that meant having his family with him was the thing that brought him the most happiness. Along with dinosaurs, cars, story books and drawing, of course. The one surefire way to get him to sleep was taking him for a drive around the block, and he loved watching the world go by out the car window rather than whatever weird dancing fruits his parents played for him on their phones. He was introverted around most people, but with his loved ones and his family’s friends, he came out of his shell and it was one of the best sights in the world.
Alexia, who now only played for her beloved Barcelona after retiring from the national team, was happier than ever. Her children were growing into beautiful little humans, inside and out, and she had a woman at her side whom she adored more and more everyday, especially since you became the most incredible mother. Everyday, the now naturally brunette woke up with love bursting from her heart and a smile on her face, because there was no longer anything missing from her life. She truly had it all.
The day her daughter asked to join a proper football club instantly shot up the ranks of the best days of her life so far. She remembers the moment so clearly; laying in Anaís’ bed the night of her sixth birthday with the girl in her arms as they read a bedtime story together, a book named You Choose that you saw in a thrift shop and decided to buy for your daughter’s birthday. Alexia loved the idea of it when you showed it to her – the premise of it was to show young children that they could do absolutely anything they wanted with their life. Upon the first time of reading it, when Anaís got to the page titled ‘Is there a job you’d like to do?’ she pointed out the small drawing of a boy playing football. She pointed to it with determination, and stated that she didn’t want to be like him, but she wanted to be like her Mami. There were tears immediately present in Alexia’s eyes, to which she nodded, and before she could respond to her daughter, the little girl asked to join a club.
To nobody’s surprise, Alexia argued that she could easily get a place for Anaís in the Barça academy. But that wasn’t what you wanted, and parenting went both ways. Just because it was Alexia’s world that Anaís was entering, didn’t mean you couldn’t have a say in it either. There were a handful of frosty conversations, one in particular that featured a lot of colourful language, tears, and a night of going to bed angry at each other, but after some more talking that was handled in an adult way, you both came to a decision. And Alexia, in the end, was more than happy with it. She did a lot of grovelling, because she quickly realised it was definitely the better option. Anaís would join the local girls’ team at first, so she could get a feel for it, and in a few years’ time if she wanted to join the academy, there was a place for her there already.
Fortunately, you were able to be much more flexible with your job, which meant you could choose to work in the office or at home depending on what situation you were in. If your children were on a school break, you could work from home and still spend the day with them, even if it was with your laptop in front of you. If Alexia was away and they were missing her, you could still be there for them too. And Alexia pulled her weight too of course, it was far from one-sided; sending you to the spa whilst she took them for days out, treating you all to family holidays, she did as much as she could and more. Things had just fallen into place perfectly, and none of you would have it any other way.
That all meant you could quite easily take Anaís to training and to her games, whilst Alexia had to move heaven and earth to ensure she never missed more than one session at once. So far, there had only been one where she had missed two sessions in a row, a practice and a game in which Anaís had scored in, and the anger her daughter harboured at the fact the only other person she cared about impressing wasn’t there… well, it was enough for Alexia to never miss it again if she was in the city. Knowing her daughter was angry at her was one of the most gut-wrenching things she had ever experienced.
And that’s why, mere minutes before Anaís’ game kicked off one Saturday morning in February, you laughed with Oriol sat in your lap at the sight of Alexia running across the field, still in her training kit, to make sure she was there in time. She looked way too under-dressed in the freezing weather, that point backed up by the redness to the tip of her nose and her cheeks, but she didn’t care because she was here and that was all that mattered.
Just before she reached you, Anaís spotted her from her team huddle and waved emphatically at her number one fan, who instantly reciprocated the excitement before blowing a kiss and gesturing for her to listen. The young girl nodded, her face turning serious (and it looked just like Alexia’s game face) whilst Alexia made her way over to you and your son. In her hand was a cup of coffee, which she handed to you when she sat down.
“Hola amor, hola hijo.” Alexia kissed your cheek and then Oriol’s, quickly adjusting the woolly hat he wore before sighing and turning to the game.
“You didn’t get one for yourself?” You wondered, happily taking a sip of your drink as it helped to warm you up from the inside out. Oriol fidgeted a little, trying to move from your lap into his Mami’s. Alexia smiled down at him and transferred him over, standing him on her knees and hugging him tightly. He giggled into her ear and squeezed her back as best he could.
“No, just for you. I dropped mine in the car park.” Alexia huffed, wrapping an arm around your shoulders as Oriol sat back down on her lap, his beady hazel eyes looking around desperately for his big sister.
“Ahí!” Oriol pointed at her with a grin, to which you and Alexia both smiled at.
“Sí, Oriol, well done.” You kissed his forehead and he preened under the attention. You turned to Alexia then, offering your cup to her. “Have it, Ale. It will help warm you up.”
“I’m not col-”
“Yes you are. You’re shivering already, just take the drink. I have a blanket for Oreo here too if you need it.” You pushed the drink into her hands, which she instantly wrapped around the small cup, relieved to feel some heat back into her fingers, but shook her head at the blanket. She didn’t exactly feel like being spotted in public with a dinosaur covered blanket around her shoulders.
“I got it for you though.” She frowned, only for you to roll your eyes dramatically and kiss it away quickly. You raised an eyebrow at her, which she knew meant don’t argue back anymore. She couldn’t really fight that one, it was her favourite coffee after all.
The whistle blew then as the game kicked off. Alexia shouted some words of encouragement for Anaís and her teammates, but you had to stifle your laughter at the disapproving look on Oriol’s face at the noise. She grimaced at his unimpressed face and ducked down to kiss his cheek, whilst you smiled and shuffled closer to your wife and rested your head on her shoulder.
It turned out to be a pretty fierce game, considering it only featured children no older than eight years old, but Alexia half expected it. The opposing team was all boys, and even despite the progress that had been made in society’s view on football with all genders, some people still had a sour taste in their mouth at the thought of girls playing a 'man's sport'. That was evident in some of the calls from the parents of the other team, as well as how rough they played too.
You were sat there, wracked with nerves at the physicality on display in a game with such young teams, especially since Anaís wasn’t quite the tallest yet and was only six. Some of the boys nearly towered over her, at least a head or two taller, and whoever organised the match-up was most certainly on Alexia’s hitlist. The brunette was tense the whole game, hardly staying in her seat for longer than a few minutes at once. Oriol had moved back to your lap not long after the game kicked off, understandably. There were multiple points where you could hardly bring yourself to watch, and it felt like a matter of time before someone got injured.
Anaís played as a winger, she was very quick and like all kids her age, loved nothing more than scoring goals. That to them was much more important than any other aspect of football, and even though Alexia had tried explaining to her that it wasn’t the only key thing, you had to remind the captain that she was just a child after all. It would be some years before Anaís fully grasped the whole idea of the sport, so for now, it was all about scoring and nothing else. Fortunately for her, she was very good at it.
In the other team’s opinion, she was too good, because by half time, Anaís had scored one goal and assisted another to make it 2-0. Alexia was prouder than ever, as always, and she boasted and beamed to you throughout the short break about all the brilliant plays Anaís had made.
However, it seemed that the boys’ team weren’t happy at all. More specifically, their parents and coaches weren’t happy. If the first half was rough, the second half was bordering on dangerous. And for a reason you nor Alexia will ever understand, Anaís was the target of it all.
Her team got another goal, increasing the score to 3-0, and it was then that the other team finally lost it.
With the ball at her feet as she dribbled with outstanding control, Anaís ran as fast as she could down the left side of the pitch, past where you were sat watching. Her attack was cut short when one of the boys from the other team went in with a two-foot tackle, taking her to the ground instantly.
Your heart dropped at the sight as you froze in place, consumed with worry for your daughter. Alexia was on her feet and going over almost as soon as it happened, but Anaís was already back up and shouting at the boy who tackled her. That sight was a little relieving; she didn’t seem physically hurt after the tackle, just angry. Alexia went to the referee immediately, who stood between Anaís and the boy, and to no one’s shock, the brunette started arguing with the older man. You stayed off to the side, keeping Oriol calm in your arms who was a little upset by what had happened, whilst talking with Anaís’ team coach.
It was only when Alexia ended her rant at the referee that she noticed the quiver to her daughter’s lip. And the way she discreetly cradled her elbow close to her. The second Alexia caught wind that Anaís might be hurt, all the anger dissolved immediately as she crouched down in front of the six year old. Now that she had a good look at her, she saw the pain in her eyes and the blood seeping through her kit sock.
“Anaís, what hurts? Tell me, princesa, I need you to tell me.” Alexia said desperately, mentally kicking herself for not checking in sooner.
“My shoulder. And my ankle.” Anaís mumbled, her eyes filling with tears but doing her best to fight back all the overwhelming emotions she felt in that moment.
“Okay, okay. Will you let me carry you to Mama? Let's check you out, hm?” Alexia waited for the little girl to nod, which she did, before scooping her up into her arms whilst being mindful of her shoulder. She jogged carefully off the pitch towards you, her eyes conveying to you the concern she felt in just one glance. “Amor, she's in pain. She got hurt.”
“Sit her down.” You followed the pair of them to where you and Alexia were sitting earlier, watching with worry as tears rolled down Anaís' cheeks. Alexia crouched on the floor in front of her whilst you sat beside her, and that's when you spotted the blood soaking her sock. “Anaís, can we take your boot off?”
She nodded rather robotically, staying completely silent as she held her left arm close to her body still. The tears were falling, but she still made no noise. Her eyes seemed distant too, and all these were signs pointing towards her being in shock.
You kept your eye on her face closely as Alexia gently took off her boot as well as her sock, only to find quite a gash on the inside of her leg above her ankle. It was bleeding quite a bit and would most likely need stitches, meaning a trip to hospital. Alexia nudged you to urge you to look at it quickly, before the footballer bunched up Anaís’ sock and pressed it against the wound to try and suppress the bleeding.
“That boy was wearing metal studs. Increíble!” Alexia scoffed and shook her head. Then she took a deep breath to force down her anger, and turned back to her daughter. “Anaís? What about your shoulder?”
The brunette girl didn’t reply, like she hadn’t heard what Alexia said. That caught your attention in an instant.
“Ale, I think she’s in shock.” You told her, voice dripping with concern.
Alexia recognised your anxiety and knew she had to take charge of this situation. She needed to be strong for her family – when all was hopefully settled later, she could off-load her stresses then. For now, all three of her loved ones needed her to be a steady figure in all this worry.
“She’s okay, don’t worry.” She quickly squeezed your knee in comfort, before the same hand cupped Anaís’ cheek to try and bring her back to earth. “Hey chiqui, can you hear me? I need you to talk to me for a moment so we can make you feel better. Please.”
At her mother’s words, Anaís blinked slowly and met Alexia’s worried stare. She nodded twice, a few cries leaving her that she couldn’t quite hold back. Her mind was in overdrive, feeling totally panicked and scared. There was a lot of pain in her shoulder, she felt it pop after falling and again when she pushed herself off of the floor, and it wasn’t until about a minute after her fall that it really started hurting. And when the pain arrived, it arrived hard. She hadn’t felt anything like it, and it seemed like it was only getting stronger.
“Hurts, Mami. So bad.” She broke out into full-blown sobs then, which only caused her shoulder to throb more in absolute agony. Never, in her nearly seven years of life, had you or Alexia heard her cry so extremely. There were tears of your own brewing at the sight and sound, and Oriol was getting more worked up at it all too.
“I will fix it, mi amor, Mami will fix it.” Alexia hastily took off her quarter zip jumper and somehow tied it carefully around Anaís in a make-shift sling. Her heart broke at the especially loud cry Anaís let out when the captain moved her arm into the right position, but she knew it was a necessary evil and that’s what she focused on in that moment to ensure her confident demeanour didn’t crumble on the spot.
“Hospital?” You asked quietly, swallowing the lump in your throat when Alexia nodded.
With the adults and other children watching on, Alexia picked Anaís up and headed off in the direction of the car park. Yourself and Oriol followed along behind with your bag on your back, glad that your wife had driven in her car that day since you and your children had walked. Though it came too late for your standards, you slipped into auto-pilot parent mode then, allowing you and Alexia to work together like a well-oiled machine so you could care for your children. It was decided that you would sit in the back with them so you could comfort them both, despite being squished in between two car seats.
Oriol calmed down quite a bit during the car ride, to your relief though not to your surprise, whilst Anaís sniffled the whole way there with tears still falling steadily. Alexia drove quickly but safely there, and though it wasn’t convenient for all four of you to go, there was no way you weren’t going to be there for your daughter, and your son definitely wouldn’t have wanted to leave you three after the chaos that had occurred.
That meant you were seated in the waiting room with Alexia to your right and Anaís curled into your chest, her legs in Alexia’s lap whilst Oriol entertained himself with the toys in the kids’ area. The cut to the six year old’s ankle had been stitched up already, only needing three, and now you were all waiting for an x-ray to her shoulder. It had been near enough confirmed that she had dislocated her shoulder, but she had somehow put it back in place herself when she got back up off the ground. Alexia turned a sickly pale colour at the sound of it, to which you knew you would tease her about some point in the future, though the main thing now was that Anaís was a lot calmer after being given some strong painkillers, thankfully.
Her head was tucked under your chin as you ran a hand soothingly up and down your back, yourself exhausted by the day’s stress, even if it had only just turned midday. Alexia had an arm around your shoulders, having pulled you in slightly to lean against her, and her index finger drew comforting circles around Anaís’ knee. The little girl soon caught on to her Mami’s actions, smiling shyly at the woman she idolised which brought a similar smile to the older woman’s face. It turned into a game then, Alexia drawing or writing words on her daughter’s skin as the younger Putellas tried to decipher what had been traced. You watched on in admiration whilst keeping an eye on Oriol, who was lost in his own imagination as he played with some of the cars they had there.
“Mama, Mami, did you see my goal today?” Anaís wondered out of the blue.
“We did, nena, it was so good. We are so proud of you for it, you played really well.” Alexia answered immediately, smiling brightly at her daughter.
“Well, that boy said girls can’t play football. But I scored, and he didn’t.” Anaís shrugged her good shoulder, and her words changed Alexia’s smile into a smug smirk.
“That’s my girl.” Alexia held her hand out for a high-five that Anaís accepted with a grin of her own. “Girls can play football. Girls are better at football than boys. Like you are.”
“I know.” Anaís hummed, making you and Alexia laugh. She definitely was her mother’s daughter.
“I thought after you retired that I would get a break from that dangerous sport.” You huffed teasingly, Alexia shaking her head at you and turning to kiss your cheek.
“That will never happen, amor. Nunca.” She said, watching as Oriol came wandering over, seemingly bored of entertaining himself. Alexia picked him up and sat him on her lap, smothering his face in kisses that ignited his adorable little giggle. You watched with love in your eyes as he tried to push his Mami’s face away, only to turn the tables and start covering her face in wet kisses. “At least you get a break from it with this príncipe, no? Because this one is going to get lost in his stories, he will write and draw and write and draw forever, one day we will lose him to a library.”
“And you wonder where your daughter gets her dramatics from.” You shook your head at her antics, but really, Alexia was doing an incredible job at distracting everyone and keeping them happy. Deep down, you were a little ashamed at how you had acted earlier, and those thoughts were eating you up inside. There wasn’t much you could do about them right now apart from ruminate on them and spiral further into the doubts.
“Mama? High five?” Oriol wondered, and at that moment, it hit you, what a special little human you were raising. His heart was small but filled to the brim with love and care, and you hoped that it was down to what he saw and experienced in his day to day life.
“Thank you, Oreo.” You replied, gently hitting his hand just to see his smile afterwards. A smile that was extraordinarily similar to your wife’s, a feature in both your children that you adored endlessly.
“Cookies?” His ears pricked up at his own nickname, which just so happened to be a result of his love for the biscuits he just asked for. Anaís had started it, something you and Alexia overheard as the two children ate lunch together at their tiny table one time, and it had stuck since then.
“Yes, I have oreos for you, tesoro.”
Anaís’ name was called after that, and you decided to go with her into the room whilst Alexia waited outside with Oriol. It was far from a nice experience; the doctor maneuvered her arm into a couple uncomfortable positions which brought the tears back, and it broke your heart to have to wait in the booth as she cried out in pain. The second you were allowed to, you went straight to her and comforted her, like you should have done when she first went down earlier.
They decided that there was fortunately no further damage to her bones or any surrounding ligaments, meaning she was free to go with instructions to rest, ice it, take some painkillers, and use the sling for around a week to help it heal. Your little family made its way home after that, driving home in comfortable silence since everyone needed to decompress after the ordeal of the day. Oriol’s eyes were drooping shut by the time you arrived home, so you cradled him in your arms as you made your way to the sofa inside, where everyone dropped down together. Some family time was much needed.
It was exactly what was needed, as Oriol quickly fell asleep on top of you as did Anaís in between you and your wife. Now that you had a moment near enough alone with Alexia, you could feel her eyes on you. At this point in your relationship, having known you for so many years now, she could read you easily. It didn’t help that she pretty much knew how your brain worked too, and though she had anxieties of her own about the day, she knew that you would be eating yourself up about it all. Even if she did think you didn’t deserve to treat yourself that way.
Luckily, this was a situation that Alexia was familiar with, in terms of football and injuries. They were unfortunately inevitable, and today was probably Anaís’ first proper introduction into that side of the tough sport. A small silver lining of the day, though it might be more of a selfish thought, was that Anaís hadn’t seemed to have lost any interest in football, which was something Alexia was worried about since her daughter’s first training session.
You avoided her stare for as long as possible, but a conversation you didn’t want was one you couldn’t avoid. Alexia’s desire for clear communication and her caring nature was one of the things you fell in love with initially, after all. No amount of stalling by closing your eyes and stroking your son’s back could get you out of this one.
“Amor?” Alexia whispered as to not disturb the two sleeping figures beside her.
“I know.” You replied a moment later, taking a few more seconds of cuddling your son before carefully moving him onto the sofa, all whilst he soundly slept. You stood up and made your way to the kitchen, Alexia not far behind after placing forehead kisses on her children.
Your back was to Alexia as she came in, trying to delay the oncoming tears, but that attempt was pointless as the second your wife hugged you from behind, they came pouring out anyway. You tried to keep them silent, for the sake of the sleeping figures not too far away. That was another futile attempt.
“It’s okay to cry, cariño. It makes me sad too.” Alexia told you, frowning when you pulled away from her and turned with a shake of your head.
“But you were there for her. You were the only one out of us two that actually realised she was hurting, I wasn’t there for her then.” You rambled through shaky breaths, one hand clutching the counter tightly as you spoke. “And we should have done something sooner! About the game, it was dangerous and stupid, it shouldn’t have hap-”
“Shh.” Alexia cut off your rant gently, her hand taking yours from its tight hold against the marble, your knuckles nearly white, as the other wiped away your tears. “Don’t get stuck in the ‘what ifs’. This is what parenthood is, we can’t keep them safe all the time, no matter how much we want to.”
“I know.” You muttered reluctantly. “Doesn’t change the fact I wasn’t there for her. I just… panicked. I can’t do that, she needs me, us. She had you but I was stuck in my mind, I wanted to help but I… I froze, Ale. And that scares me.”
“You were there. You looked after our son, you helped him not get worked up, and you were there by her side. You recognised she was in shock, something that I missed, and told me so that I could bring her out of it. You were there in the car, in the hospital. You were there for her, amor, please don’t think you weren’t.” The next point Alexia was going to make was one she wasn’t particularly proud of. “She sees me acting strong when I shouldn’t, something you have always shouted at me for, and she tried to do the same. I didn’t know how badly she was hurting either. Instead, I was arguing with the referee, like it was a game I was playing in.”
You giggled at that admission, knowing it was absolutely true. Anaís had definitely gotten that trait off of Alexia, and no matter how much you loved your wife, you’d be damned if your daughter carried that with her for the rest of her life.
“That really isn’t the best of your hand-me-downs you could have given to her.” You teased, to which she laughed and nodded.
“I know. Sorry about that.” She responded with a grimace. You were both quiet for a moment, just taking the other in after the hectic day that it had been so far, before Alexia raised her arms and gestured for you to hug her, which you did. “It’s normal for you to get scared, especially at that moment. I did too. It was the scariest thing ever, and don’t call me dramatic for saying that.”
“I won’t.” You said. “It’s always going to be like this, isn’t it?”
“I think so, yes. There will always be injuries in football, and though I will be speaking to whoever let that game go ahead, it’s just how the sport goes. It won’t always be this bad. Look at my career, how many trophies, eh?”
You laughed into her shoulder and lightly pinched her where your hand rested on her back under her shirt. Within the short conversation, the majority of your anxieties had been laid to rest. The only thing you could do to erase the ones that remained was to curl up on the sofa with your wife and children and relax with them for the rest of the day.
“I love you, Ale. Thank you.” You stated softly, hugging her just that bit tighter as you spoke. “If it’s always going to be this scary, then at least I have you, right?”
“Always. Like I said before, at least Oriol evens out the stress a little bit, no? The worst injury he could get is probably a paper cut, so.” Alexia shrugged, smiling shortly after you laughed once more. “Now come on. Your children will always love you, no matter if you freeze or if you run off to shout at the referee, because you taught them how to love and they know to do it unconditionally. Please, do not let this one bad day make you doubt how good of a parent you are. Okay?”
“Okay.” You smiled shyly up at her. “I know you are upset by it too, Ale. You did an amazing job with her, really. I don’t know what I would have done if you weren’t there.”
“No sweat, mamacita.” You rolled your eyes at the nickname, before taking her hand and leading her back to the lounge. Back to your caring, compassionate, loving children, to cuddle with them and make sure they knew they never had to experience a day like today alone.
“I hate when you call me that.”
“Well, don’t be sad and I won’t say stupid things just to see you smile.”

He’s like no something else and reader JOKING says win the ucl and barca wins ucl. Them being cute on the pitch after the win with her wearing his name and all that fluff. Sorry it’s long and specific but yeah. Thank you xx
Loyal Red~Pedri Gonzalez
・❥・prompt list
・❥・masterlist -> part 2
・❥・who I write for
Pedri strolled through the front door, stretching his arms as he took off his jacket. He called out for y/n but got no answer, just the muffled sound of the TV from the living room. Walking in, he stood in his place amused, blinking a few times to take in the sight of his girlfriend lounging on the couch, wearing the one jersey that always, always got him worked up.
“Really? Liverpool, again?” he teased, his eyes narrowing playfully as he walked closer, eyeing the familiar red number 8 she had on, the name "Gerrard" plastered on her back.
Without looking up, she laughed, adjusting her messy ponytail as she smirked. “What can I say? Loyalty runs deep, Pedri.”
He rolled his eyes, sitting beside her and nudging her shoulder. “When are you finally going to wear my name and number 8 on your back, huh?”
Smiling, she gave him a playful look. “I already told you. You want me to wear your name? Then maybe you should consider joining Liverpool.”
Pedri let out a dramatic sigh, putting a hand to his forehead. “You really just want me to play for your favorite team, don’t you?”
“You know it,” she giggled, grabbing his hand and pulling him closer. “Come on, Pedri, it’d be the ultimate upgrade. You’d look so good in red! Plus Arne Slot is bald. you'd absolutely love him” she joked, teasing him about his not-so-secret adoration for bald men
He laughed slighty shaking his head before he spoke. "no way. the only bald man that can be coaching me is De La Fuenta. Or Flick if he went bald" he shrugged, and it was her turn this time to laugh.
He then leaned in, pressing his forehead against hers. “Or, hear me out…you could finally switch teams. Be a Barça fan, just this once.”
“Oh really?” she raised a brow, crossing her arms with a smirk. “Tell you what, if Barça wins the Champions League this season, I’ll wear your name on my back”
Pedri’s face lit up, his eyes shining with determination. “Is that a promise?”
She nodded, leaning back. “Yes, but only if you guys actually bring it home.”
“Deal.” He gave her a quick kiss before jumping up and pacing, fists pumping in the air. “You better start preparing, because I’m getting you out of that Liverpool jersey once and for all!”
As the Champions League season progressed, Pedri was more motivated than ever. He’d send y/n pictures after every away match, pointing out how close they were getting, or would FaceTime her right after the game to remind her of her promise. And each time, she'd roll her eyes, laughing at his playful confidence.
When Barcelona reached the final, Pedri could hardly sit still. Every time he called, he’d drop hints, asking if she'd already picked out her new jersey. “You’re about to look so good in blue and red,” he’d tell her, grinning, and every time she’d shake her head, insisting that Liverpool would still be in her heart.
The final match was nothing short of intense. y/n held her breath with every play, nerves tingling as she watched Pedri and his teammates put their hearts into the game. And when the final whistle blew, signaling Barcelona’s victory, the stadium erupted, and she let out a scream of joy mixed with disbelief.
Only a few moments later, she found herself on the pitch, surrounded by the cheering fans in the stands and jubilant players.
Pedri spotted her in the crowd, his grin stretching ear to ear as he pulled hee in for a long, celebratory kiss. “So,” he murmured against her lips, his arms wrapped around her, “about that promise…”
Rolling your eyes, you couldn’t help but laugh. “Fine, you win. I guess it’s time for me to join the Barça side.”
Pedri cheered again, motioning for one of the staff members to come. As he came over to them he handed Pedri a fresh jersey, his name and the number 8 on the back. y/n laughed, taking it from him and slipping it over her head.
As a jersey with Pedri’s name and number found its way over her head, he looked at her, pride gleaming in his eyes. “Finally!” He leaned in, pressing kiss after kiss to her cheeks, her forehead, her nose, until she was giggling uncontrollably.
“Alright, alright, enough,” she laughed, trying to push him away, but he just pulled her closer.
"I'm so proud of you, you know?" she said, brushing some of his sweaty hair from his forehead. He smiled down at her, leaning down once again to connect their lips.
"and I'm proud to have you in my jersey, with my name on your back" he teased, causing her to roll her eyes playfully, slapping his chest.
"don't make me regret it" she warned him, although her tone held nothing but affection and love towards him.
"I'm gonna have the picture of you in this barca jersey carved in my mind forever. you look so much better than in that plain red shirt" he pulled a disgustes face, making her gasp.
"you better take that back" she said, curling her fingers on his jersey, pulling him closer.
"never" he murmured, before kissing her again, this time more intense and tender than before.
"come on let's pose with the trophy" he grinned, pulling her hand as they found Gavi, who was taking pictures with his family and the trophy.
"he finally got you to take that disgusting shirt off" he joked, making y/n roll her eyes as Pedri laughed beside her.
"shut up you too. I've already heard enough from this idiot" she said, slapping the back of Pedri's head to make him stop laughing.
Pablo handed them the trophy, walking away to let them pose on their own.
Pedri held her close as cameras clicked around then, pulling her into playful her and wrapping his arms tightly around your waist. Every so often, he’d brush a soft kiss against her temple or her cheek, murmuring, “Told you I’d get you in this jersey.”

winner, winner | f. torres
summary: the spain national team win the euros and ferran’s girls couldn’t be prouder.
notes: dad!ferran always 😭 a draft from my old accounts i’ve edited to be more fitting. quickly edited. let me know what you think!!! enjoy! <3
“—AND HERE, PRINCESSA, IS WHERE your papi is going to lift the trophy tomorrow.”
his teammates laughed, smiling at the pair as others continued to walk around and inspect the pitch, mentally preparing themselves for the big day ahead.
ferran stood laughing as well, chuckling heartily even with a pink plastic pacifier hanging between his teeth and soft baby blanket in his arms, his entire heart and soul blinking up at him, clueless to his reason for laughter.
tia torres was, and always would be, his greatest prized possession. i mean, he wouldn’t complain if he got a trophy in his arms tomorrow, but no feeling would top the one when he held his baby girl.
she was just about to turn one, starting to crawl and make funny sounds. ferran was adamant to get her to say papi first, he didn't care if she was halfway there to 'mama' with her drawn out 'mmm's', he knew she understood him and wouldn't let him down by saying papi first. everytime he spoke to her, your heart melted. always such a upbeat, soft tone, he spoke nice and clear to her in the hopes she would repeat it back. he was so sweet with her, so in love, and the way she looked at him and smiled when he talked - you knew she was in love with him too.
she came into your lives a little unexpectedly and despite all the worries and anxieties, you didn’t know what you did without her. ferran didn’t know what he did without her. he didn’t know what he did before her. he felt like an entirely different man since tia came into your lives and cringed at the man he was before. he liked the night feeds and the early mornings. he liked the tasting of bad baby food and job of freshening his girl up with a fresh diaper. he liked the challenge of getting her to sleep (which was easy for him than you) and taking her out by himself so you could enjoy some time to yourself.
he took pride in being a ‘young dad’, he didn’t care about going to nightclubs in dubai or festivals in ibiza anymore, he was happy to be at home with his two girls and make many, many memories with the pair of you.
he stood with her in his arms, walking her around the pitch with his barça teammates by his side. tomorrow was the final against england and you’d flown out with your daughter for what you knew would be a historic moment. after all, you wanted to show your support and be there for your boyfriend in time of celebration or comfort.
“just think, hermano, this time tomorrow, we’ll be here, getting ready for kickoff,” pedri’s arms excitedly shook ferran’s shoulders from behind, hyping him up at the thought. bless him, he’d suffered an injury in his leg, but that didn’t stop his excitement for his teammates playing in the final.
tia’s eyes widened in her sleepy state, looking up at her papi who still had her pacifier in his mouth. he moved her around to face him, smiling at pedri’s antics as she stared up at him, reaching for her dummy, but ferran pulled away teasingly, watching her half-amusingly fight for it. the boys smiled at his immaturity, always messing around - even with a one year old. “hermanoo, give her it,” even pedri thought he was cruel, pouting sympathetically at the little girl.
he chuckled as tia’s small smile turned into a frown as she started to whimper frustratedly, and he gave in, letting go of the dummy for her to take back. "'m only joking, mi princessa, te amo mucho," her cheek was quickly smothered by his kisses as she rightfully sucked her dummy into her mouth. he’d never mean to upset his baby girl on purpose.
he continued to carry her around the pitch, bouncing her slightly as he knew she was usually asleep at this time, but her schedule was a little off with the travelling making her miss out her nap and now with ferran begging you to take her to see the stadium, she was behind on getting her final bottle which usually sent her to sleep.
although it looked like she didn’t need a bottle, as her eyes slowly fluttered with each rock of her daddy’s arms, she was content and cozy in his embrace and didn’t care about the big bright lights shining down on her. if she was in her daddy’s arms, she could fall asleep anywhere.
when she woke up again. it was 6:30am. you’d spent the entire day with her in berlin, exploring with ferran’s family while he was with the international team, prepping for the big day. you were nervous since the minute you woke up, wishing and praying things went their way and that ferran and the team got the result they wanted. you just hoped he would be fine no matter the turnout, and that tia would be able to put a smile on his face no matter what. he’d been playing so well and deserved it more than anything.
the next time you were in the stadium, tia was with you, dressed in a mini 11 jersey with papa on the back, she looked around the place she’d been in just the day before.
you were on edge the entire game, unable to take your eyes off the field and when halftime ended with 0-0, your anxieties increased. ferran was on the bench, undoubtedly awaiting a substitute until the game kicked off and not 2 minutes later - spain had the lead.
the stadium roared and you got the first real sense of hope and belief, trying not to jump and yell too much given your baby was still sat on your knee. from your point of view, you tried to point to the players bench where her papi sat, but she was clueless, too many things going on and too much to look at to keep her occupied, she was transfixed on the many different flags and people surrounding her.
when england scored, you were a wreck again, and prepared yourself for pens when m. oyarzabal shot the second goal into the net and all your nerves deflated. there was no coming back now, you had nothing to be afraid of.
the final whistle blew and you couldn’t stop yourself from jumping up, your daughter jumping in your arms, you yelled out with almost tears of happiness as she looked around bewildered. the stadium was thriving, singing and jumping, celebrating their country as fireworks went off. you watched the team take the stage, proudly representing their kit and your heart swelled with pride as your ferran stepped up the stage, shaking the hands of some very important people before his medal was hung deservingly around his neck.
as other families of players made their way to the pitch, you followed in lead, buzzing with excitement as you led you and tia down the steps.
ferran was talking with pedri’s family when he thought he heard you call him. he glanced around and broke out into the biggest smile when he saw you making your way over with your baby girl in your arms. “it’s papiiii!” you bounced her, trying to get her excited, “clap for papi!”
“mi querida!” he nabbed her from your hands and jumped around, kissing her over and over and over again while your heart exploded with joy. you stepped back and took photos as he tossed her in the air, her sweet giggles melting the hearts of anyone around. “we did it! we did it, bebe!”
tia’s hands held her daddy’s face as he held her in the air, grinning down at him, he took her dummy away so he could see those two little bottom teeth smiling at him.
“congrats! mi guapo,” you finally interrupted their moment, feeling left out, you wrapped your arms around your other half and squeezed him tightly. “we are so so so proud of you!”
“hermosa,” he awed, looking at his main girl. his entire world before his mini-me came along. “te amo.” he kissed your lips, and then again and again and again. you wrapped you arm around his neck and hugged your little family, kissing your daughter’s head before she started to feel jealousy again.
“te amo,” you batted your lashes lovingly at him, looking at those beautiful brown eyes you’d fallen in love with before placing a long sweet kiss on his cheek.
“tia!!” pedri’s voice called as he hurried quickly over to the little one. he didn’t know much about babies but one thing was for sure was that she was definitely ferran’s kid. she was just him as a baby with longer lashes and a cuter nose. “hello, cutie,” he tickled her arm with his finger.
she reached for him willingly, smiling at the familiar face and he gladly accepted her embrace, always flattered she would leave her papi for him for a few minutes.
“congratulations!” you sang from ferran’s side, sharing your pride for the boy. you weren’t the only one classed as ferran’s other half – you shared that title with pedri.
“thank you, y/n,” he nodded, his leg brace pulling a little at your heartstrings. you were glad he got to experience the win with the team nonetheless and got the medal he deserved. “campeons!” he sang, raising tia’s arm in the air.
“oh wow! isn’t she gorgeous,” pedri’s mum appeared with the rest of his family, his brother greeting the little baby in his brothers arms.
“thank you,” you smiled, watching them awe over her daughter.
“she gets it from me,” ferran cockily smirked, running his hand over his hair like he was some model which made you laugh. you elbowed his side as pedri handed her back, reaching for the trophy being handed his way.
“take your baby, i need to hold my baby,” he proudly took the award into his hands and began posing with his prized possession, leaving you and ferran to chuckle while he got his photos with his family.
ferran sat on the ground with tia who was infatuated with the confetti (trying to eat fistfuls of it which he had to keep pulling from). he placed the medal around her and took some of his own photos, classing this day as probably one of the best days of his life. here with you and his baby girl, feeling like all his hard work paid off in the moment. “are you proud of papa?”
“of course she is proud of her papa,” you answered for her, “she is proud of her papa every single day. she is proud of you when you manage to open a door, let’s be honest!”
he laughed, flicking more confetti from her hands. “are you? are you proud of your papa?” he looked down at her, mirroring her sitting position with her legs apart and hands inbetween. she looked so tiny across from him. “can you say papa? say papaaa.”
“pa!”
“yes! say papa!”
“pa!!” she repeated, laughing at his pleased reaction.
“yes!”
cameras clicked in your direction as the three of you stood together, tia getting distracted by the medal around her daddy’s neck and inspecting it curiously as the trophy was passed in ferran’s direction.
he posed with the trophy, the proud look on your face only growing before you joined. “wow,” you thought, running your thumb over the engraved title of spain on the silver. you all smiled with it, tia playing with the red and yellow ribbon when ferran lifted her to try and set her in it.
“ferran!” you laughed, watching your baby share a look of confusion and maybe a little discomfort from the cold metal at why her dad had placed her in there. he chuckled and quickly lifted her out, kissing her once more.
“that is getting framed for the living room,” he promised, laughing at the image.
her tiny fits wrapped around his fingers as he stood her up from the ground, keeping her still next to the trophy she was almost the same size as. he kissed it once more before handing it off to his next teammate, happy with his time with it. “my girls,” he smiled, hugging his little one on his left and pulling you into his side on the right. “i wouldn’t be able to do it without you,” he kissed both your heads.
“hmm, you couldn’t have done it without your teammates, more so,” you joked.
he rolled his eyes and shook you playfully, feeling you hand hold his over your shoulder as you began to walk around the pitch, greeting other families and congratulating his teammates. really, it gave ferran an excuse to show off his baby girl to his teammates and show just how cute she was, and how much he looked just like him.
to show off both his girls in general, and how they made him feel like he was a winner every day.

Our Little Family pt. 2
Here is Part 1
Alexia x reader x Mapi
Warnings: none
Summary: Your baby Hugo's first 24 hours are filled with love.
~~~
"Sleep, amor; we have Hugo, and we will be right here when you wake up," Mapi said to you as you started to drift off. Alexia was sitting next to you in bed, cradling Hugo, rocking him back and forth, and cooing at him. It was the most adorable sight you had ever seen. You had given birth less than an hour ago, and you were truly exhausted, so you fully closed your eyes and let sleep consume you, knowing your wives were looking after your son.
"I want to hold him now," Mapi whined to Alexia.
"No, I just got him," Alexia replied, not looking up from her son's eyes as he gurgled at her. "You can have him in twenty minutes."
"But I want to hold him now, he is just so cute. Look at his tiny little fingers." Mapi moved around to sit on the edge of the bed next to Alexia. She reached out to stroke Hugo’s tiny fingers. He reached out, looking up at his mama, and gripped her pointer finger.
“You’ve got a strong grip, don't you, mi amor.”
“I can’t believe we are actually mothers now. Y/n did so amazing, and she gave us such a beautiful baby boy,” Alexia said as she glanced over at you.
“We should practice swaddling him; I haven’t done it before,” Mapi said as she got a fresh blanket. Alexia shifted Hugo so she could unwrap the current blanket and then gently lay him on the blanket that Lucy and Ona gifted them with a little Barça crest.
“Alright, we got this,” Alexia said, excited for the new experience. Mapi started the process the nurse had shown them earlier but got lost halfway through.
“No, amor, fold the left then the right,” Alexia said, moving to help. “Your mama might need a few more tries, huh Hugo,” Alexia cooed as she leaned down and kissed his cheek once he was fully swaddled.
“Gracias, Ale,” Mapi said as she leaned down to kiss Hugo’s other cheek and then Alexia’s as she cradled Hugo close to her body. As they admired their handiwork and cooed at Hugo, you stirred from your sleep, slowly opening your eyes to see your wives and your newborn. A warm feeling of contentment washed over you as you took in the sight before you.
“How are my favorite people doing?” you asked softly, your voice laced with sleepiness.
“We’re doing great, cariño,” Mapi said, turning to you with a bright smile. “And look at Hugo, he’s just perfect. He did so well for us when we swaddled him.”
“He really is,” you agreed, feeling a rush of love as you looked at your son. “Thank you both for being here for me and being such amazing wives.”
“Of course, amor,” Alexia said, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to your forehead and then one to your lips. “We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”
“Do you want to hold him now?” Mapi asked. You eagerly nodded your head, wanting to be as close to your son as possible.
~~~
As the day continued to unfold, the three of you basked in the joy of becoming parents. The hospital room became a hub of activity as family started to arrive to visit. Mapi’s parents arrived first with a bouquet of flowers for you and gifts for Hugo. Your parents arrived shortly after, incredibly excited to be grandparents and spoil Hugo. Eli and Alba arrived next. Eli brought a homemade meal for the three of you to enjoy together, and Alba was so excited to meet her nephew.
“Where is he? I want to hold him,” Alba said as she practically ran over to Alexia, who was currently holding him after just changing his diaper.
“Slow down and don’t be so loud; you are going to scare my son, and he just stopped crying. Go wash your hands, please, before you come anywhere near him.” Alba grumbled at her sister but did as she was told. On her way to the sink, she came and kissed you on your head and hugged Mapi.
“Congrats, Y/n, you have such a beautiful son. Good luck raising him with Alexia; I’m surprised she doesn’t have him wrapped in bubble wrap yet.” You and Mapi both chuckled at this as Alexia grumbled about how she could hear you.
Alexia’s mom and sister each took a turn holding and cooing at the adorable newborn. Hugo was the center of attention with his little yawns and baby noises. You especially loved it when he scrunched his little face up.
Alba and Eli, like the other families, only stayed about thirty minutes, not wanting to overwhelm you or the baby and wanting the three of you to be in your own bubble for a little bit.
Throughout the entire day, both of your wives were also very attentive to you. They took turns helping you to the bathroom, changing ice packs, making sure you weren’t in too much discomfort, etc.
~~~
“How are you feeling now, amor?” Mapi asked you. Alexia had been awake for practically 24 hours now, and you had finally made her go rest in the recliner. She was reluctant at first, but you told her that she couldn’t help you if she didn’t take care of herself, and she was snoring lightly a couple of minutes later. Hugo was asleep in the little crib that was attached to the bed, looking peaceful after he had just breastfed.
“It's not super painful right now, just really uncomfortable,” you replied, leaning your head on Mapi’s shoulder.
“Do you want to try taking a few steps, amor? I can help hold you up. The nurse said you can try to walk whenever you feel ready.” You nodded, thinking that it might help you feel a little better to move around because you had been laying down, or in a wheelchair, for over a day now.
Mapi slowly helped you up so you were standing up. You stood there for a minute using her arms to stabilize.
“How does that feel, amor? Are you ok to continue?” Mapi said, letting you adjust for a minute.
“I think I’m ok; let me take a step,” you replied as Mapi took a step backward so you could start to walk forward more.
After a full lap around the room, Hugo woke up crying. He must have realized his moms left his side for a minute. This immediately woke Alexia up, and since you couldn’t get to him very fast and Mapi was helping to hold you up, Ale grabbed him from the crib and sat back down in the chair, rocking him against her chest.
Yours and Mapi’s hearts swooned as Alexia started whispering, singing a little Spanish lullaby to your son.
“We better record this; no one will believe Ale would ever sing a lullaby,” you whispered to Mapi. She nodded in agreement and helped you sit on the bed before grabbing her phone to record the sweet moment between mother and son. Once Alexia stopped singing as Hugo calmed down, gurgling contently staring up at his mother, she noticed Mapi had been recording.
“No, absolutely not bebé, you are not allowed to share that with another soul,” Alexia warned Mapi.
“Too late, amor, I already sent it to the team group chat and to your mom and sister.”
the playlist
pairing: gavi x ofc
summary: lola met a boy through her public spotify playlists. the boy turn out to be someone her madridista boyfriend hates.
warnings: toxic boyfriend (not gavi)
taglist: @htpssgavi; @joaosnovia
masterlist // I do not take requests
"He's so fucking annoying," Lucas said, pointing at the boy on the TV, complaining to the ref about some foul he might or might not have committed. Lola sighed.
"He seems passionate..." she said, but it was the wrong thing.
"You only say that because he's pretty. All the girls love him and they have zero ball knowledge."
Lola didn't reply, because he was right in a couple of things. She had no idea about football, and the boy on the screen was cute. But that was not why she had said that. She just felt like Lucas was being a bit unreasonable. Either way there was no point in arguing. If Lucas decided Gavi was annoying, she had no chance to change his mind.
The game progressed and Lola stopped paying attention. She had been the one to offer to watch it with him, but it was clear Lucas abhorred her questions or remarks. She checked her phone, noticing that her secret online friend had not replied yet.
She had met Pablo by accident, when he started following all of her playlists on Spotify and tracking her Insta account to follow. He had excellent music taste, if she could say so, and never devalued her tastes and interests.
He was a very good friend, Lola thought. She wished she could actually meet him in person, since they both seemed to live in Barcelona, but Pablo had been reluctant every single time.
She guessed it was for the best. Lucas would go crazy if he heard that she was meeting some guy alone.
"Fucking asshole, he's such a fucking cunt," Lucas was complaining about Gavi again, who was now forehead to forehead with one of the Madrid players—Lola did not know which one. "He's not even talented he only knows how to foul people."
Lola did not reply, letting Lucas vent. She was pretty sure she had seen the guy pull some impressive dribbles and stop more than one attack without fouling, but she was no expert.
And it was not her problem, anyway.
💙❤️
Pablo replied hours later, apologising because he was at work. Lola had already realised that whatever job he had, the hours were weird as fuck. There was a time she even theorised he might have been a stripper, but abandoned the idea later when she realised he also worked in the weekdays.
pablo306: have you listened to the new quevedo album? my coworkers won't stop spamming it, im literally going crazy
lola_garrido: I've heard a couple of songs, but not all. Sounds cool though
Lola was not really into that style of music, but from time to time she liked dipping her toes on it. Pablo was more broad in that sense. His playlists were crazy diverse, songs from different styles and eras all clashing to convey whatever mood he wanted.
pablo306: how have you been doing today?
lola_garrido: nice, nice. had to watch el clasico with my boyfriend
pablo306: oooohh is he culer?
lola_garrido: quite the contrary
pablo306: ew
pablo306: red flag
lola_garrido: lol
lola_garrido: he seems to hate barça quite a lot. specially this guy, the pretty one
pablo306: pedri?
lola_garrido: the other one, the one from the princess.
pablo306: ah, gavi
pablo306: do you hate him too?
lola_garrido: nah
lola_garrido: he seems funny
pablo306: funny?
lola_garrido: yeah, idk. like he's got a big personality and all
Lola heard Lucas exit the shower, which meant her time with Pablo was over.
lola_garrido: my boyfriend's back gotta go <3
Lola smiled at Lucas when he got back to the room. He was in a bad mood because of the defeat, Barça had demolished Madrid 0-4.
Lucas fell into the bed with her and started kissing her neck.
"Not today," she said almost immediately. He relationship with Lucas had died out months ago. She would have broken up with him back then if it wasn't for the state of the housing market in Barcelona. The apartment she shared with Lucas was small, but it was a gift from heaven when it came to the price, affordable for a young couple. Lola has been searching for a room somewhere, without luck, and until she was sure she could have a place to fall back, she could not break up with him.
It was not wise.
"Oh, c'mon, you never want to," complained Lucas.
"I'm tired."
"You're always tired. You did nothing tiring today."
Lola rolled her eyes.
"I don't want to, Lucas," she muttered. "That should be enough."
Lucas hissed in frustration, and turned on the bed. Lola stared at his back before grabbing her phone again.
pablo306: does he know you talk to me?
lola_garrido: he woukd have a meltdown. he always does when I talk to a man for more than 3 sec
pablo306: oh. right
lola_garrido: is it a problem?
Lola bit her lip. She had already pissed Lucas off. The last thing that she wanted was to drive Pablo away too.
pablo306: no its just
pablo306: I was wondering if you'd like to meet that's all.
lola_garrido: I would love to
pablo306: but if its going to get you in trouble with your bf I don't want to. I don't want to get in any trouble
lola_garrido: well having a friend its not cheating. he can't be mad about that, no?
pablo306: you'd be surprised
💙❤️
Lola was pissed. Her relationship with Lucas was worse every day, but the fact that Pablo refused to meet her because he did not want to trigger him in some noble gesture broke the camel's back.
She was tired of feeling like she was chained to a boy who only wanted one thing and one thing only, who never really asked her about anything and would only monologue about his interests. That never even tried to listen to the music she loved.
Lola was mature enough to recognise that at some point she had developed a crush on Pablo, whoever that boy was. She wished she could see a picture of his face. Pablo had no prophile picture, no image showing his face on his account. He knew what she looked like, but she didn't know him.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she arrived home and found Lucas with a girl on his lap, kissing her neck.
Lola did not scream, did not cry. She took a step back and left their home again.
lola_garrido: I hate it here.
lola_garrido: do you know anyone that needs a roomate?
pablo306: my sister actually
pablo306: let me text her
pablo306: is everything okay?
lola_garrido: found Lucas with another girl
pablo306: send me your address. I'll be there to pick you and your things up
💙❤️
Half an hour later, an expensive looking car parked in her street. A boy her age jumped out, immediately walking towards her. Lola vaguely recognised him: he was that player Lucas hated so much, Gavi.
But he called her name, and she realised with a mixture of horror and irony that he was Pablo, her Pablo. Lola melted into the hug, trying to quiet her mind from the thousand questions assaulting her.
"Should I call you Pablo or Gavi?"
He smiled, thin lips revealing pointy teeth.
"No one calls me Pablo."
"Gavi, then."
It would take a while, for her to conflate the image of Pablo with the concept of Gavi, but she'd manage. Lola followed him up to her own apartment, crossing paths with a very embarrassed mistress that refused to look into their faces.
"That's a downgrade," muttered Gavi when she was out of sight. Lola flushed. Lucas met them by the front door. His hair was a mess, his expression was crazed out.
"Lola, I'm sorry I can explain, I—" he cut himself when he realised who was with her. "What—"
"If you don't mind, we have to pick up some stuff—" Gavi pushed past Lucas, who was gaping at them.
"You were cheating on me?" He had no business sounding so outraged. Lola pushed past him too.
"No. I just happen to have kind friends."
💙❤️
They locked themselves in the bedroom, Gavi helping Lola put all of her clothes in a suitcase and all ofbher school things in her bag. He was oddly organised, the discipline that had taken him to the highest level coming in handy.
Lucas kept calling from the outside, screaming and arguing alone, trying to get them to snap.
Lola could only watch Gavi, who she had pegged for a highly emotional person, carefully arranging her sweaters, doing a perfect job at ignoring her boyfriend.
Once they were ready to leave, Lola unlocked the door. Lucas was immediately upon them, but they kept ignoring his taunts and claims.
"I'll be back later this week to pick up the thing that are left," Lola told him. She did not care to argue. She wasn't sure when she had become so indifferent to Lucas, but it was nice to know he had no power over her.
"She's not worth it, bro," attempted Lucas. "Dhe barely wants to fu—"
Before Lucas could finish the sentence, that already had Lola flinching, Gavi dropped the bag on the floor and grabbed her ex-boyfriend by the collar of his shirt, slamming him against the wall.
"Shut the fuck up," he threatened. It was hard for Lola to picture her funny and witty Pablo with the harsh Gavi in front of her. His big brown eyes were fixed on Lucas, the decisive anger she had seen during matches directed towards the boy. "If she's too much of a woman for you, that is your issue, not hers."
Gavi dropped Lucas, whose hatred fro the Barça player was quietened by his fear. Then Lola understood one thing. That fiery, angry side of Gavi only came out when he had to protect the things he loved. In the pitch it was his club, but here... it was her.
Gavi offered Lola his hand, and they descended back to the street together, fingers interwoven like the songs in their joint playlist.
"Let me take care of you, alright?" He asked, lifting her hand to his lips. Lola sighed, as the sun hit her face. Finally, she felt loved.
:) merry Christmas 🎄
The streets of Barcelona were aglow with festive lights, casting a warm golden hue against the chilly December night. Christmas was just around the corner, and the holiday spirit filled every corner of the city.
In a cosy little café tucked away from the bustling streets, Gavi sat at a corner table, fidgeting with the ribbon on a small, neatly wrapped present. His leg bounced nervously under the table as he stared at the door, waiting for you to arrive.
“Relax Gavi” Pedri had told him earlier. “It’s just a gift.”
“Easy for you to say” Gavi had shot back. “You’re not the one giving it.”
Now, as he sat there alone, he replayed the conversation in his head. Why am I so nervous? he thought. You were friends. Just friends. Sure, he liked you.. a little more than a friend probably should but this was just a Christmas gift. No big deal. Except it was a big deal.
The door jingled, and there you were, your cheeks pink from the cold and your scarf wrapped snugly around your neck. You spotted him immediately and waved, your smile lighting up the room in a way no string of Christmas lights ever could.
“Hey, Gavi!” you said as you approached the table. “Sorry I’m late. The metro was crazy.”
“It’s fine” he said, standing up awkwardly and then sitting down just as awkwardly. “You’re not that late.”
You slid into the chair across from him, pulling off your gloves and blowing on your hands to warm them up. “It’s freezing out there. I think my fingers are going to fall off.”
Gavi chuckled, though it came out more like a nervous cough. He pushed the small package toward you, his hands suddenly clammy. “Uh.. merry Christmas.”
Your eyes widened as you looked at the gift. “What? Gavi, you didn’t have to get me anything!”
“I.. I wanted to” he said, scratching the back of his neck. “It’s nothing big, just.. you know, something small.”
You hesitated for a moment, then picked up the gift, your fingers tracing the edges of the wrapping paper. “Can I open it now?”
He nodded, his heart pounding like he was about to play in the Champions League final.
You carefully unwrapped the gift, peeling back the paper to reveal a small, delicate snow globe. Inside was a tiny scene of Barcelona at Christmas.. a miniature Sagrada Família surrounded by snow-covered trees, with tiny lights that twinkled when you shook it.
Your jaw dropped. “Gavi, this is.. it’s beautiful.”
“You like it?” he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
“I love it” you said, turning the globe in your hands to admire the details. “How did you even find something like this?”
“I saw it a while ago and.. I don’t know, it just reminded me of you” he admitted, his ears turning red.
Your cheeks flushed as you looked up at him. “Reminded you of me?”
“Well, yea..” he said, staring at the table as if it held all the answers to the universe. “It’s, uh.. small and pretty. Like you.”
Your laugh was soft and sweet, and it made his heart do a weird little flip. “You’re so cheesy.”
“I know” he muttered, finally daring to meet your gaze. Your eyes were shining, and your smile was so wide it made him feel like he’d just scored a hat trick.
“Thank you Gavi” you said sincerely. “Really, this means a lot to me.”
He shrugged, trying to play it cool even though he felt like he might explode. “It’s nothing, honestly. Just a little something for Christmas.”
You set the snow globe carefully on the table and reached into your bag. “Well, now I feel bad because I didn’t get you anything.”
“You didn’t have to..”
“But I did” you interrupted, pulling out a small package wrapped in bright red paper. “Here.”
His eyes widened in surprise. “Wait, you got me something?”
“Of course I did” you said, pushing it toward him. “Now open it before I die of suspense.”
He hesitated, then tore into the wrapping paper like a kid on Christmas morning. Inside was a sleek leather notebook with a small Barça crest embossed on the cover.
“I know you like to write things down after games” you said, a little shy now. “Your thoughts, strategies, whatever. I thought maybe you could use a new notebook.”
Gavi stared at the notebook, his heart swelling. “This is perfect” he said, his voice thick with emotion.
“You like it?” you asked, your voice tinged with uncertainty.
“I love it” he said, looking up at you with a rare, genuine smile. “Thank you.”
You sat there for a moment, the air between you warm despite the chill outside. Neither of you spoke, but it didn’t feel awkward. It felt nice. Comfortable.
Finally, you broke the silence. “So, are we just going to sit here being awkward, or are you going to tell me why you were so nervous when I walked in?”
“I wasn’t nervous” he said quickly, though his face betrayed him by turning bright red.
“Sure sure..” you said, raising an eyebrow. “Sure, you weren’t.”
“I wasn’t!” he insisted, though he couldn’t stop himself from smiling.
“Okay Gavi" you said, shaking your head with a laugh. “Whatever you say.”
You spent the rest of the evening sipping hot chocolate and talking about everything and nothing, the conversation punctuated by shy smiles and playful teasing.
As you stepped outside into the cold night air, Gavi found himself walking a little closer to you, his hand brushing against yours.
“Thanks for the gift” you said again, glancing up at him.
“Thanks for yours” he replied, his voice soft.
And as you walked down the brightly lit streets, neither of you seemed to notice the cold anymore.
I NEED A NEW POST ASAP 😭😭😭😭
Coming your way! <333
Good News
It was a grueling couple of months for Pablo. You made sure to be besides him through all of it and show your support.
Oftentimes you couldn't do much about the pain but after the long physicals you would cuddle him and play with his hair while he sleeps on your chest.
You also tried to talk to him through more depressive steps where he would watch his old videos with teammates and reminisce of the times he played for Barça.
"I want to go back amor ... I'm lost without them ... and so tired" one night he cried after a very intnse physical feeling his whole body trembling from how much pain he had to push through.
"I know, cariño ...and you will just rest now" you reassured him while he kept swiping through pictures enjoying your hands in his hair.
Today was a talk with his doctors who will give him an approximate return date and Pablo was so nervous about it. It was scheduled for ten in the morning but he was already up at five twisting and turning in bed until you woke up as well.
"Pablo, it's not even morning ...go back to bed cariño porfa" I said and he pulled you closer starting to kiss all over your face not letting you sleep.
"I can't sleep amor ... I'm so anxious!!!" he whined and you giggled opening your eyes and pulling him into a kiss.
"Want me to make some breakfast then?" you ask and he holds you tight not letting you move away from him.
"I want you here with me ... just tell me everything will be fine porfa" he said twirling a piece of your hair around his fingers.
"Of course everything will be fine cariño ... you're recovering nicely and I'm sure it won't be too long until you return to the pitch" you said and he smiled praying to God you were right.
"Thank you, princesa ... what would have I done without you?" he said and you giggled kissing him.
"You wouldn't have anyone to torture at five in the morning!" you said and you both laughed while enjoying your time in bed.
When it was time to leave, Pablo's dad noticed his son's nervousness as he opened his car door.
"Did he sleep at all?" he asked you and you smiled saying he was just a bit anxious but will be better after the meet. You sat besides him holding his hand the whole ride.
Once arrived at the camp, there was a crowd all yelling "good luck Gavi!" while he nodded holding your hand tightly and limping inside carefully. There all his friends waited and gave him a reassuring hug before we were invite into the office with the doctors.
"Let's not crowd the room" the doctor said and you offered staying out but Gavi wouldn't let go of your hand now really starting to panic.
"Can she come inside with me, doctor?" he asked adorably and the older man smiled nodding his head and letting us both in followed by his father.
"First, I want you to know these are good news so don't be nervous" he started and Pablo finally relaxed. The doctor explained that his recovery is moving better than expected and that he will be ready for preseason maybe even earlier.
"So I might play Euros too?" Pablo was already ready to jump back in but doctor told him that would be a cardinal mistake.
"Cariño, remember we need to be patient" you say touching his cheek and he nods still a little disappointed but knowing this was all a blessing.
'You just keep listening to your lovely lady, and you will be back in no time kid" his dad says and Pablo kissed the top of your head lovingly while you smiled with red cheeks.
"I couldn't of done it without her ..." he said and everyone smiled at the two of you while you rested your head on his shoulder thanking God for there good news <333
-first kiss / pablo gavi
Warnings: None / sorry for any mistakes I'm too lazy to proofread it currently
Words: 1.3k
Reading Time: 5min 20 sec
A/N
I've had this in my drafts fo sooo long now it's unbelievable. But I'm done now so yeyyy!! Hope you enjoy it
Love you guys, Magdi
To celebrate Barça's win and Pablo's reappearance at the stadium today, Pedri invited the whole team to a get-together at his house after the game. And like every time Pablo got invited somewhere, he asked you to come with him as his plus one.
You were always Pablo's plus one at any event, it didn't matter if it was a fancy gala or a simple team dinner, you were always by his side, and you never really gave it much thought.
"Y/N, hurry up!" Pablo screamed from downstairs. You had to drive to Pedri's house as Pablo still wasn't allowed to, which meant he had been waiting for the last 30 minutes for you to get ready.
"Jesus Christ! I'm comming, ok!" Adding the last bit of shimmer to your eyes, you make your way downstairs, completely missing the way Pablo's eyes nearly pop out as he sees you.
You see. Pablo has been trying to muster up the courage to ask you out for about a year now, but every time he comes close to telling you, he chickens out. Because the last thing he wants is for a lifelong friendship to end just because of an immature crush.
So, for the last year, all of your friends had to painfully watch how you two would pin after each other. Then, contrary to Pablo's belief, you weren't any better than him. The slight difference between you is that your crush has been going on since you were twelve.
You managed to hide your feelings pretty well, or so you thought. The truth was everybody knew you liked Pablo except himself. Which was pretty confusing for everybody as you were "Looking at him with heart eyes," in Aurora's words.
Anyways, back to now. After some slight arguing over what music you should play, you finally drove off. The car ride was silent, not an uncomfortable kind of silence, more a comforting kind. You were both recharging your social batteries again before meeting his teammates.
Something you and Pablo have in common is not being the most talkative on the planet, you two prefer to be affectionate rather than talk someone's ear off.
*Timeskip cause I'm lazyy*
After arriving, Fermín dragged Pablo away, wanting to talk about "football stuff". You didn't mind it, knowing Pablo missed his teammates terribly, so you let him be, getting yourself something to drink and sitting down next to Pedri, who greeted you with a big smile.
"Y/n! It's so good to see you! How are you doing?"
You fell into a relaxed conversation with Pedri about his season, how his brother is doing and many other things. You were finishing your fourth drink when Pedri bid his goodbye to find Ferran, you gave him a lazy smile and said bye.
You start to feel the alcohol in your system and decide to look for Pablo. You haven't seen him since you arrived, and that was 3 hours ago. With a slight sway in your walk, you make your way around the house, trying to find him.
You nearly gave up, wanting to call him instead, you saw him outside, sitting on a lounge chair with Fermín deep in conversation. Carefully opening the door, you step out, sneaking up behind Pablo to scare him.
"Hey guys!"
"Ahh ... Dios Y/N!"
Pablo nearly falls out of his seat, screaming like a little girl. Fermín still sits in his chair, holding one hand to his chest, looking at you with a shocked face. You, on the other hand, nearly fall over laughing, holding onto the wall beside you.
"Oh my god! Y-you guys should have seen your faces, hahah!"
Sitting up again, Pablo looks at you with furrowed eyebrows, grumbling something under his breath. "Sometimes I wonder why I'm friends with you."
Fermín starts to laugh when he sees your shocked expression. "Excuse me! I'm awesome!"
Pablo raises his eyebrows at you and says nothing, his expression already tells you enough.
You cuddle yourself next to Pablo on the lounge chair and throw your legs on Pablo's lap. Almost naturally, his hands find your legs and start to stroke them.
You two completely miss how Fermín watches the whole scene with a knowing smile, too engrossed in each other to notice anything.
------
It was currently half past twelve at night, and at some point, the topic of the conversation changed to first kisses.
You now know that Fermín had his first kiss under the bleachers of their old training grounds as children. You laughed at him for the next ten minutes, asking if it could be even more cliché.
"Okok, stop laughing. Was your first kiss any better?" You heard Fermín ask between your giggles.
"How should I now. I never had one." You just blurted out casually.
"What!!" Both men screamed in unison.
You were startled by their sudden exclamation nearly falling back with your chair.
"Dios mio, what's wrong with you two?!"
Fermín was the first one to find his voice again, "So you're telling me that you never kissed anybody in your entire life? Like ever?"
Taking a sip of your beer, you answer, "Jep, never."
Both men now look at you like they've seen a ghost, mouth hanging wide open, eyes staring into your soul.
"Guys it's no big deal really, calm down." You couldn't contain your laughter any longer as you kept looking into their faces, they looked absolutely ridiculous.
After a few minutes they calmed down again and the conversation flowed easily, well you and Fermín talked, Pablo kept quiet the whole time looking like he was lost in his own world.
-----
After some time, Fermín left, mumbling something about being way too cold. You didn't pay him much attention your focus shifted to Pablo a long time ago.
After Fermín left, there was silence between you and Pablo, not an uncomfortable one, more a comforting and calm one.
"Is it true that you've never been kissed?" Pablo breaks the silence.
"Yes, you idiot, why would I lie about something like this?" You laugh at his question.
"I don't know, the tequila scrambeled my brain."
Giggling, you throw your legs over his and make yourself more comfortable.
"You know, I've always imaged you would be my first kiss."
You were talking so quietly Pablo thought he heard you wrong, but he realised quickly what you said and looked at you with a gaze you couldn't read.
"Why did you never tell me?"
"Well, what did you want me to say? Hi Pablo, nobody ever kissed me. And I know we have known each other since we were 5 but would you want to? Yeah right."
"I would have ..."
Looking up from your lap, you see his brown teddy bear eyes looking at you.
"Wha-"
"I would have kissed you."
His tone and his expression told you he meant what he said. You didn't know if it was the alcohol or something else, but a wave of confidence hit you, which led you to ask him, "Would you also kiss me now?"
Pablo said nothing but started to lean in, grabbing your chin with his hand and making you look into his eyes.
"I would love to." He whispered before leaning in, softly connecting his lips with yours.
The feeling of Pablo's soft lips against yours was addicting. You never wanted it to stop, ever again.
Sadly, the lack of air in your lungs made you two pull away from each other, taking a deep breath while gazing into each other's eyes.
"And, was that ok for your first kiss?"
"Ok, it was magical!" You exclaimed, linking your hands behind his neck.
"That's good because I was not planning to stop at one kiss. Is that ok with you?"
A blush made its way onto your cheeks as you heard him say that, nodding you hide your burning cheeks in the crook of his neck.
"Yeah, I'd really like that."
"Good, then come here."
