Like any other ship week, Saiibo Week is a week-long list of prompts used to make fanworks celebrating Shuichi Saihara And Kiibos relationship! Usually in romantic context, but it can be platonic if interpreted as such as well!!

All artists are welcome, from digital, to traditional, to writers, to cosplayers, to sculptors, to 3D models, and even editors of sprites or video edits, (as long as things are properly credited) and beyond! Saiibo Week is for everyone!

Don't feel pressure to participate every day if you want to join along, do as many or as little days as you wish! And, if you can't make it the week of, feel free to post your entries anytime afterwards as well!! There is no deadline or anything, this is all for fun!

The prompts are left more vague for a reason, don't feel pressure to stick to their canon designs or just the ingame or non-despair personalities! You can make every prompt relate to pregame, or postgame, or any AU of your own! If you're a furry artist, or a dragon artist or etc. who cant draw humans or prefers to draw non-humans, go for it!! Zero limitations on that front! As long as it's Kiibo and Shuichi, it's free game!

then, i received 42 asks, spammed comments, and what feels like an endless flow of reblogs.

i have not gone out of my way to target specific people and hound them: i give what i receive. heated asks get snarky replies, ones that are either incoherent gibberish or death threats get a chuckle and tossed, and people who offer stimulating conversation get the same tone and engagement i always give.

maybe it's not a tone you'd appreciate, but i am not going to cater to an angry or stubborn person to "be mature no matter what" because this is tumblr! it's not my job to babysit people and be professional and on-the-job when i'm just saying shit on my blog that happens to upset people.

if someone wants to send me something i'm gonna respond to it with the same respect i get because it's free entertainment for me and the other 2.5 people who all know this is pointless. it was pointless from the start, but there are so many people fighting me on a canon fact?

I think you are probably one of those few people in silm fandom that actually realize that sauron was definitely not a twink like..for god's sake he was a fucking commander of melkor's army and also a blacksmith.How the hell do you even imagine him to walk in the battle like a little pretty fairy.

i know he was a maiar and he can shape shift himself into anyways he want but GOD i am so tried and fed up of this twink, bitchy representation of mairon.i really want some tall,tanned and buff depictions of mairon.Afterall,Mairon was known for liking of proper organization and order unlike melkor(who was just so chaotic).i think melkor should have more fragile Portrayals. Of course,he was a vala and naturally he was much taller and powerful than mairon but I think he must me more willowy and fragile in appearance than sauron cuz he didn't go to battle more often like sauron did.so he has no reasons to always appear hunking like a big dark cloud.And his fragile appearance must have become more common after all that silmarils incidents as he was loosing his power.

it's still hard for me to comprehend how the hell did 99% of Tolkien's fandom decide and agree to this fact that mairon was a bottom bitch and would like to blush like a vrigin girl in fornt of his master. at least there should have been more inclusion in this fandom . I would be glad that even 30% of the fandom would accept our buff Mairon.but, what can I do now?people can Portrayal characters however they want. My dude, you have come to the right place! I am 100% with you on this one honestly. The art is nice but sweet fucking gods how the hell does fanon Sauron get shit done if a) he is physically too weak to do his job and b) no one respects him as you know, Melkor’s literal actual second in command. I swear, people in this fandom saw Sauron and lost all common sense lmao. (No offense meant to anyone btw I just personally find the fanon interpretation of Sauron’s character to make no sense at all).

Also the more you look at his personality and how he behaves in Mordor you realize he eerily resembles more than one 20th century dictator. Especially Stalin. And Lenin. And that’s an essay I still need to write.

Hey so no offense, but I think you’re taking it way too far with this whole “Zutara is not fanon it’s canon” thing :/ Fanon does not mean something isn’t real. Saying that something is fanon doesn’t invalidate it’s existence. Idk it just seems like you’re obsessed with things being canon even though the point of fanon is that it did not happen in the canon universe. It doesn’t mean it could NEVER happen, or that it doesn’t exist, but fanon acknowledges the fandom’s fanworks over canon. I’m not sure why you’re ashamed of that??

You’re right anon, I have a tendency to overreact and it’s something I need to work on, and I can definitely take this a bit too far. However, when you CONSTANTLY notice negativity within the zutara fandom in addition to antis screaming ab how they aren’t canon...idk, it just seems like we’re allowing the antis to win by referring to our works as strictly fanon. To me, that just implies that the ship doesn’t exist and is therefore invalid, when that obviously isn’t true

I’m just so damn TIRED of this fandom saying we were “robbed” or “why couldn’t they be endgame/canon” every. Goddamn. Day. It almost implies that it’s not ok to ship them since they didn’t happen in one interpretation. So I figured if no one else is spreading positivity then I might as well take it upon myself to do so

I really do appreciate you reminding me that fanon doesn’t automatically mean invalid, but when you’ve got an entire fanbase that cares WAAAY to much ab what’s canon...there’s almost a stigma around the word fanon so I tend to avoid it :// I feel like it’s the only way ppl will listen, sadly. And the only reason I seem “obsessed” is bc literally the entire fandom is obsessed with canon unfortunately. You’ve got ppl saying they don’t care ab canon but then immediately say they “wish zutara was canon” so I just want to remind people that they are. I just don’t want us to be so fucking miserable all the time

this year I themed the list around out-of-game/non-despair style stuff, as i stuck more with ingame for the last two lists! (but that doesn’t mean you can’t theme it around ingame if you want to btw!) i still kept all the prompts vague as hell though cuz I really LOVED what people came up with last year when I made it vague, it gives a lot of creative freedom not being specific!!! AND ALSO it’s still hopefully writer friendly bc of that as well!!! I usually try not to make AU designs or like. specific outfits prompts in recent years cuz!!! it’s not super writer friendly aha BUT!! THAT MEANS THAT THEY CAN LITERALLY BE IN ANY AU OR IN ANY OUTFITS YOU WISH SO!!!! YEAHHH
