*scrolling through the tag for the first time*
"Mizu is a trans man and so it's transphobic for the creators to show part of his life as a woman or talk about him with she/her at all"
*absurd amount of self control not to engage in what would become a fruitless discussion, ultimately keep scrolling*
"Mizu is a woman and it's disrespectful to women to call her a trans man because it takes away a 'strong woman' representation"
*scream into a pillow*
#blue eye samurai#the character themself doesn't care at all about their gender#which leads me to headcanon them agender BUT#they could end up being gender binary either way#they just don't have time/comfort/opportunity etc to think about it#that's an interesting character to think about the whole spectrum of gender#(and that's both a bit funny and a bit sad that even outside their show they can't escape the narrative (being gendered))#i'm bad at explaining stuff sorry#in conclusion: stop telling people what to do 0_0#and stop seeing everyone that disagree with you as automatically *bad*#most people seeing mizu as a woman arent transphobic#no more than most of those seeing mizu as a man are misogynistic#EDIT i think i've find a better way to say what i want to say#it is interesting for the story/the character/yourself to see or having seen mizu as a trans man or woman or nonbinary#and what they are intended to be/will maybe revealed to be doesn't matter and won't (or shouldn't) change that
