Cegan angst + One-sided Grimecest Scenario

A scenario which Negan is in bed with Carl, hands pressed firmly around his neck, Carl fully at his mercy and so small in his grasp even as he glares daggers at him and it's always like this. Except this time slips up and instead of calling him "Sir" he calls him "dad" and tears just start streaming down his face.

And Negan can't do anything, so he just tightens his grip even more, and stairs down at the kid fully aware that he's not the one Carl wants in that moment, and Carl is clawing at him, trying to force his hands away from his neck at this point but to no avail.

Eventually Negan let's up and Carl is gasping for air and he's. still. crying. Ugly sobbing, but the moment he even starts to catch his breath Negan is on top of him again. Kissing him harsh and rough, and angry. And Carl will just opens his mouth wider and lets himself be used as an outlet for Negan's aggression, and for his own piece of mind.

Because Negan knows he's not the one Carl wants, and the one person Carl feels like he can't live without is his father.

1. What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get? Honestly? None. I might not ship it, I might not even like the characters but I’m a crack shipper to my core so I can typically acknowledge why other peeps might be hot in the panties for it even if I’m not. Unless it’s something fucking gross like Grimecest (please go roll yourself off a cliff).

2. Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP? Caryl. Although I don’t really anything-it but I’d classify it as a BrOTP if I were forced to label it.

3. Have you ever unfollowed someone over a fandom opinion? Yup. Lemme catch you talking shit about Rick Grimes and I will unfollow you so fast. I have a zero tolerance policy. I’ll give people more wiggle room for talking shit about Shane (I mean hey - he did try to kill Rick) but if I hear so much as a whisper of “Shane wanted Rick dead from the start or Shane was banging Lori before the ZA” I unfollow that person and never look back.

4. Do you have a NoTP in your fandom? Are they a popular OTP? I do and it’s purely for petty ass reasons. I wouldn’t actually care if the two characters road off into the sunset together and had 5000 babies but fandom has made me hate the pairing so it’s officially a NoTP because like I said...petty af.

How about a college au? Carl Grimes’ parents were separated when he was 10 years old. Carl lived with his mum in England until he had to move away for college. He got accepted into UC Berkeley; but he needed to have his residency in California in order for him to receive his Berkeley scholarship. So Carl decides to live with his estranged father. Carl leaves England at 17 and moves in with Rick in San Francisco. Since Lori hardly talked about Rick to Carl, the young teen has no idea what the man was really like.

Rick Grimes was originally from Somerset, England but moved to Los Angeles to pursue his writing career. He also moved from LA to San Francisco where he found a teaching position. He became a bestseller in the meantime while he started working for the UC as the head of the classic literature department in UC Berkeley

Rick lived alone for 7 quiet and long years until he gets a call from his ex wife saying that their son is now going to stay with him. Will his undisturbed days remain?
