ive been meaning to write this fic but it hasnt been happening.... but pls consider billy dies and is declared dead and then scientists/russians studying the upside down acquire his body and either replace it with a false body as they did will or just have the funeral home bury an empty casket or give the family false ashes. but billy wakes up while theyre transporting what they believe to be his corpse (insert pseudo science/upside down reasons) and escapes them without their knowledge. (1/2)

(2/2) hurt and dehydrated and traumatized he somehow finds someone to patch him up and then strikes out for california on his own, realizing that this is his only chance to be free from neil. in this time el keeps having dreams about him but theyre not strong enough for her to fully access bc her powers are gone post event. eventually billy makes it there and finds his mama and she has a strong vision that hes ok but she cant share any of this with max bc she doesnt want to give her false hope.BUT (3/3) a few years down the road when max is graduating high school suppose she turns on the radio and someones phoned in a request "for maxine" and its one of billys favourite songs and she just believes in that instant that hes alive and contacting her somehow, shares this with el (now her girlfriend) and el admits she had those dreams but she couldnt find billy just from that... cue the 2 of them taking a grad trip to california to search and finally they are all reunited and neil dies xo

el and max finding billy in cali and theyre a couple and billys been living his out and proud life for a while now cuz his mama is SUPPORTIVE and hes showing the girls the gay scene and hes so much more relaxed now and happy and it was a v emotional reunion for all parties involved and billy and max wont let the other one out of their sight cuz they missed each other too much and neither of them still fully believe this is actually happening 🤧

and mayhaps billy has a boyfriend who max keeps bringing up how he looks eerily like steve but billy just doesnt see it and max is like uh huh ok sure. and maybe towards the end of their trip she keeps asking billy about coming back to hawkins but billy always either changes the subject or says hes not sure... wont outright tell her no but neils dead (choose your own death for him lol) so max knows thats not what billys avoiding. hawkins is nothing but bad memories for billy but there is a certain pretty boy he wouldnt mind seeing again, but that comes with its own set of issues cuz its not like he ever mended that fence but maybe he ends up randomly taking a trip anyway i dont know. theres a lot that could happen. and then hes gotta deal with the the fact that everyone thought he was dead and everyone in town has their eyes on him and wont stop staring and that fucks him up real bad and he spends most of his days with max and el cuz theyre the only people hes comfortable around.

Oooohh yes, while I did enjoy the “my brain is fried and that was hot” reply, I’m also loving this very thoughtful one :PFirst of all, I have no idea why I’m so mean to Steve in these oneshots, but maybe one day I will cut the guy some slack… But yes, I feel like Tony is the biggest Lollie shipper around! In relation to Bucky and his insecurities, I don’t mind if someone writes him as a ladies man after being rehabilitated (whatever suits the writer!) but I much prefer the idea of him dealing with insecurities, lack of confidence, and a fear of intimacy after HYDRA. To be fair, he was tortured and brainwashed for 80 years (I think), so I doubt he’s going to revert right back to 40s Bucky anytime soon. I also think the idea of Bucky and touching now is a big deal, considering he was beaten and tortured for, well, forever. But I agree! I doubt he’ll be his old self any time soon.I’m not gonna lie, the dancing was fun to write. Especially when there was Rihanna involved. It was…interesting :PAnd with regards my dearest Loki, I agree with you. I have seen possessive Loki everywhere and I completely understand and agree with the idea behind it. I think he would be quite possessive, especially when you think about how he and Thor have been pitted against one another. While he loves his older brother, I think he’s always felt inadequate and rejected. But my explanation here was that Loki is in a far better mental state and a bit more secure in himself. He tells Bucky that he isn’t a threat because he knows Ellie isn’t going anywhere. I also like your idea of Loki wanting to please his loved one because he is so deeply in love. the isabelle theory

hello yall this is my personal isabelle lightwood theory!! it DOES borrow heavily from polandbananasbooks' theory however my end theory and the evidence i use is different so!! hope yall enjoy.

SPOILERS FOR ALL TSC BOOKS BUT MOST HEAVILY TMI!!

after i finished LoS i had a sudden rush of affection for the shadowhunter chronicles and dug out my old paperbacks of tmi (never actually bought tid lol i read them at the library). anyway, halfway through my copy of city of glass i...noticed something.

after sebastian murders max, he APOLOGISES to isabelle, stating that 'out of all of them, you reminded me the most of me'. at this point sebastian has pretty much revealed his assholery. so. um-

WHAT THE FUCK.

yall. so i dug out that one video by polandbananasbooks (the isabelle lightwood crackpot one) and as i was watching, i was SHOOKETH.

so, in that video they mention that passage in CoLS about izzys eyes, and how she doesn't have the same colour eyes as alec, maryse or robert. THEY couldnt find the evidence of max's eye colour, but i did (it's grey). they have two theories: one - isabelle is not maryse's child - and two - isabelle is valentine's child.

but see, although those theories were GOOD, they didn't make sense to me, so i dug a little deeper, even buying the entire TID trilogy on ibooks for the theory.

now, a few things strike me about isabelle straight away, no further evidence required. they are as follows:

1) isabelle's precise birthdate was never revealed, and won't be until the tenth anniversary of CoB is released

2) isabelle is mentioned a whole lot in TDA

3) isabelle is THE BEST shadowhunter her age behind jace and sebastian. THE BEST. she outperforms her brother, aline, and most other shadowhunters her age or even older. isabelle is hardcore as HELL

so back to city of glass. when valentine is revealing his Grand Plan, in true villain form, he says one thing that strikes me as odd: 'after sebastian, i vowed never to experiment on children of my own blood again'. he doesnt say he was never going to experiment on children again. hell, jace is evidence of that. just not children of his OWN BLOOD.

um, valentine sweetie, that's an awfully broad statement to make considering you've only experimented knowingly on one kid who wasn't your blood. it kind of implies there's multiple messed up kids out there.

so here are the facts so far:

1) valentine vowed never to experiment on children again but that vow only extended to those of his own blood (meaning isabelle is, if this theory is correct, not his child)

2) max lightwood's eyes are a variation of blue, making isabelle stick out even more

3) sebastian compares isabelle to himself

4) isabelle is a bamf

and expanding more on point three, isabelle LIKES sebastian. out of all of them, she trusted and believed in sebastian the most when he hadn't revealed his true self. she got along with him. she was disturbed by how easy he fooled her, especially compared to the others.

anyway, now to foil the idea that isabelle might not be robert's child. isabelle's description parallels that of cecily and anna lightwood HARD. she remind magnus of anna on at least one occasion. magnus, at the very least, sees lightwood family resemblance in her, and isabelle is shown in the voicemails of magnus bane to look at lightwood family portraits. isabelle does not trust her father. i sincerely believe that if isabelle did not see herself in any lightwood painting or picture, she would flatout ask her mother if she was the child of another man, because that's her nature. but she DOES. isabelle is very lightwood-esque, and it's no wonder she ended up with the lightwood pendant from cecily's side.

and of course, she has to be maryse's child. she is compared to maryse way too much for her not to be.

so to recap: isabelle is a lightwood and a trueblood but she has black eyes and a different nature to her siblings and sebastian morgenstern sees herself in her. 'heck!!' you must be thinking. 'what does this mean???'

i'll tell you what this means, munchkins, in just a moment. but i'm going to diverge a little to prove a point:

we don't have canon birthdates for alec and isabelle, meaning their age gap could be anything from just over a year to just under two. for the sake of this theory, and until the CoB tenth edition proves me wrong, i'm going to harbour under the illusion that there are ROUGHLY eighteen months between alec and isabelle, and that alec was a little over a year old when the uprising happened. this means that if you're reading this theory in the future, i could be completely wrong. don't get ur knickers in a twist.

anyway, honeys, back to isabelle. or, more accurately, back to pre-isabelle. now, as yall should know, valentines inner circle had three rad mothers or mothers-to-be: celine, jocelyn, and of course, maryse. jocelyn and maryse were closest, because their children were the same age, and jocelyn was pregnant with clary unbeknownst to valentine for a month or two pre-uprising. with that in mind, we have three pregnancies:

celine, who should, at this point, be nearly to term

maryse, who, by my calculations (based on the age difference between clary and izzy and izzy and alec) should be three-four months along (barely showing)

jocelyn, who is only a couple of weeks pregnant and hiding the fact

in this mothers circle, two out of three are canonically taking valentine's 'supplements', one happily and consensually, and one with dread and secrecy. now, tb to city of ashes: maryse was a firm, passionate believer in the cause who was told she was valentines closest lieutenant and BELIEVED him. do yall rly expect her to take this 'favouritism' of celine laying down? (jocelyn was quite obviously his wife lol so i think if it was just jocelyn, it wouldnt have mattered)

maryse would have never stood for that!! so i firmly, firmly believe that...

isabelle was experimented on by valentine in the womb, with maryse's FULL PERMISSION.

i mean, think about it! it explains why maryse was SO full of guilt about the circle, why she told isabelle about her father's affair (in order to sort of reassure herself that she wasn't the only parent who had screwed up with isabelle in some way) and it could even be the reason why robert strayed in the first place. cassie was right: isabelle's eyes don't mean anything concerning her parentage. they mean something concerning her actual abilities as a shadowhunter. and maryse was pregnant and taking supplements pre-uprising for long enough for them to take effect.

whoa, whoa, i hear you say. what could valentine have possibly experimented on isabelle with? well, for a start, angel and demon blood has to be out. valentine isn't one for repeat experiments, and he's already covered THAT base with jace and our fave incestuous demon child sebastian. this leaves us with four options: warlock, vampire, faerie or werewolf.

right off the bat, i struck off werewolf and vampire. their blood and dna isn't what gives them abilities: that's the demon disease that manifests itself in vampirism and lycanthropy. turning a born baby into a vampire or werewolf would've been far more interesting and worth the scientific research.

so that leaves us with two options. warlock and faerie. originally, i thought warlock - valentine despised warlock magic more than anything! - and then i remembered. the seelie queen had dealings with both sebastian and, it's implied, valentine. whereas warlocks are loners who cannot mobilise their brethren, faeries have knights and ladies and princes and princesses. there is a hierachy. they are controllable. valentine loved control, right? and if you think about it, well...faerie blood makes a LOT of sense.

there were already 'experiments' of sorts in the form of the two eldest blackthorns. valentine would've heard of them, such were his connections. he knows that a miscarriage would be hard to explain away, but there's proof that children with faerie blood not only survive, but thrive. faerie blood is a safe option.

second of all, faeries are both angelic and demonic in nature. it can be argued that valentine could've been trying to create a child with 'best of both worlds' without killing them. it makes sense to experiment with them, because they're a combination of two things valentine has worked with before.

thirdly, let's look at isabelle herself. she's vastly involved in faerie society: she dated a faerie knight, she knows how to get into faerieland, she can speak with faeries and she knows how they can manipulate. faeries do not trust shadowhunters. is it possible that they could tell she had some of their own blood in her? and isabelle is the loudest, most outgoing, most brash and coy and partying of all her siblings. if faerie nature were to manifest in anyone, it would be her.

finally, the dark artifices is focused heavily on the fey. but you know who has consistently been thought of or mentioned but is yet to appear out of the original cast? isabelle. isabelle is mentioned time after time, and are we really supposed to believe it's because emma looks up to her so much? isabelle wasn't fond of her like clary was, or treated her like a sister like alec did. isabelle shouldn't stick in emma's mind, but she does. why?

isabelle is an outstanding shadowhunter. she's memorable. yet out of all of them, her arcs have been the most mundane. i really believe theres more to isabelle than the sizzy plot, and i feel like cassie isn't quite done with her yet.

as for her black eyes? well, sebastian's eyes turned green when he died. perhaps isabelle's will turn blue. perhaps izzy will die in TWP or even earlier. it's been a while since one of the core tmi characters has been killed off, right? ;)

so that's my isabelle lightwood theory. you don't have to agree with me, and i'm open to thoughts and suggestions that would further alter or develop it with the support of further canon content!!

This by no means that you’d agree with me but can I share my opinion with you. Like I think that so many people have been too critical about his solo works. We really dont know anything. I feel like, Louis have been so appreciative about the opportunity he got, but it looks like we as fan cant even give him a chance. What if he make do with what he got. What if all this was..

wow i . . got an ask! sorry it took me a while to answer this babe (depending on when u sent it) i dont come on this blog alot, i kinda just made a tumblr as an outlet for my thoughts and frustrations and to have a place to talk about louis lol

anyways i think we do have pretty similar feelings about the way things are going - mostly mine are just summed up by ‘idk what to think but i love louis and his music’ lol 

To be real tho, i’ve been a 1D fan since i was 12, in 2011, and i was a larrie from like 2012 to pretty much a few months ago (not that im an ‘anti’ now or anything, i just dont kno what to think). For most of my time as a 1D fan (and especially a larrie) the culture w/ us has been, for better or worse, to hyper-analyze and doubt (for lack of better words) everything we’re given and told. Tbh, since i changed my perspective a few months ago (mostly bc of solo!harry), ive pretty much just been constantly reevaluating everything ive known for the past 5/6 years and i really just have pretty much NO idea what to think, whatsoever. 

When it comes to solo!louis, ive just been trying to take it as it comes. key word is trying, bc 5/6 years of having a rock-solid idea of the “”truth”” (our ideas about the boys, management, their relationships, etc) is alot to overcome when u try to be objective. 

When u say that ppl have been too critical of louis and his stuff, im not really sure which ppl u mean or if u just mean in general - ive definitely seen some ppl who seem to be critical just for the sake of it, or bc they actually dont like louis, which, ya, thats definitely too critical. But for some of the ppl being critical, it seems like theyre coming from the same place i was before i changed my perspective - if i hadnt been so put-off by solo!harry, i probly would still be just as dedicated to the fandom “”truth”” and i would be critical of solo!louis like i was/we were of everything else. 

Basically, at this point, i think its just habit for alot of ppl to be critical and cynical. Or, even more, its generally more comfortable (especially when weve been telling ourselves for 5+ years that we know the “truth”) to be critical (in an all-knowing way like when ppl say “those stunts are so transparent” or something) than to admit that theres alot we dont kno. Or to admit that louis hasnt had the opportunities we thought he would have/we think he deserves, and theres not really anything to do about it.

Are they right to be critical? I honestly totally dont kno. But basically im done being critical just bc other ppl are - if something strikes me as wrong and worth being critical of, right off the bat, then ill criticize it. But if everything seems ok to me and i have no reservations and i see someone else complaining and making a big deal about it, i guess thats how i decide when someone is being too critical. Thats when it seems to me like theyre being critical just for the sake of it or bc thats what theyre used to. I think its important in our culture (1D fan/louie culture), at least for me in the place im in now, to just trust ur own instinct instead of looking to others to see if things are good or not.

At first i was a little confused by ur ask(s) bc it seems a little contradictory - u talk about how louis didnt get the best opportunities, and then u say ppl are being too critical. But i think i understand (maybe im projecting tho, bc this is how i feel about it). I think what i (and u, if im understanding ur ask rite) am feeling is that ppl want to place blame - we all want the best for louis, and we’re upset that it doesnt seem that he got it. We all love and appreciate louis, so it can be hard to see how other ppl wouldnt and how he wouldnt get all the opportunities we think he deserves. So we go off on his team, simon cowell, his record label, the other boys, etc., and we criticize them and everything louis puts out bc its through them/connected to them. 

But it really all comes down to the fact that regardless of what we think louis deserves, we all know that what he gets probly wont match up to that. Youre rite, he literally said that he didnt get that many opportunities, and we have to accept that. No matter how much we love and admire him, we have to realize that for various reasons the rest of the world doesnt (at least not yet). He wasnt the most famous member of 1D, or the one pushed as the most talented, and the fact that he has a unique voice makes him kindof an acquired taste. 

We have to realize that he is, like u said, doing the best w what hes got. We dont have the power to give him more, so from my perspective im just enjoying what we get and supporting it in every way i possibly can. Bc thats what being a fan is about - enjoying what u get, and supporting it so u continue to get it. We can wish he had more opportunities available, and even ask for what we want from him in polite and lighthearted ways - like tweeting him about his album, or nominating him for awards (like teen choice and stuff), or posting/tweeting about how we wish we had a video/photoshoot/etc as long as its nice and not demanding. But ya basically we are not in a position to give him opportunities so our only job (if we want it, which, being a louie, i do) is to support what he puts out.

I am frustrated, and always have been, that louis doesnt get what the other boys do, but thats just the way it is. We have to accept that there isnt always someone to blame - for various reasons, louis has had less opportunities than the other boys, and theres nothing we can do about it. I would even go as far to say its not necesarily an injustice - like u said, he isnt the other boys, so we cant expect him to have the same situation as them. All we can do is support him and his music as much as we can/want to. 

anyway im SO sorry for turning this ask into a literal essay, i guess i had a lot to say and honestly im not sure how much of it is coherent or even on topic, it took me like an actual hour to write this all out and when i reread it… it didnt make as much sense as it did in my head lol. anyway i do think we hav some similar feelings and stuff and i really apreciate hearing ur thoughts! I hope we both get to enjoy bty (im so fuckin excited!!! from the teasers hes shared already its gonna be SO GOOD!!!) and i hope more good things happen for louis! tysm for sharing ur thoughts w me! 💙
