dude raw carrots with salt on them are so good
#inner thoughts to keep me sane#i discovered this one year at christmas#when i was putting salt on my turkey#and i got it on my carrots#(raw carrots bc.cooked carrots are gross)#and so ive been doing it ever since#salt is good with most things#turkey and carrots and mac and cheese#other things I can't think of rn#i had a friend who hated salt#and would eat everything just plain#like i made us mac and cheese but i forgot to add salt and pepper onto it before i cooked it#so i had to add it after#and she was like#no i don't like salt anf pepper#and just ate the flavourless mac and cheese#like mac and cheese is gross without salt and pepper#it's also gross without bread crumbs#that same friend had also never had proper mac and cheese before#like her idea of mac and cheese was kraft dinner#(which for all you non canadians is just macaroni and cheese powder)#(it's actually quite gross)#and so now i cant stop thinking about how many people in the world there are that have never had good mac and cheese#my coworker says there is no such thing as good mac and cheese#so i have come to the conclusion that he's only had gross kraft dinner type mac and cheese#anyway i don't know why im talking about good mac and cheese#on a post about salt#but anyway i love my dads mac and cheese#and i can and will share the (simple) recipe if requested
