I think the dislike towards Knife x Mic has more to do with Justin (Knife's VA and one of the creators) showing discomfort towards it. I didn't want to say anything unless I found something that proved this and the closed I could get was this Tweet Justin made replying to a question about how he feels about Knife ships

Apparently he also said it in a livestream that's become lost media now

You get made at people for Mic x Knife cuz their voice actors are siblings but like, what about Mic and Soap?! Their voice actors are siblings to! What's the difference!? Why is that okay to ship but Mic and Knife aren't!? If you're gonna be mad for dumb reasons at least keep them consistent.
