Headcanons for SBI Sibling!Parrot Hybrid!Reader

(A/N): ope, went a little overboard with this one (also it’s not proofread, so sorry about any mistakes)

You have wings on your back (the feather pattern depends on what parrot floats your boat)

If you’re a Scarlet Macaw, Blue-and-Yellow Macaw, or Chestnut-Fronted Macaw, then you have black lines on your cheeks and heavy black lines around your eyes (think Hawks from bnha but less pointy)

If you are a Hyacinth Macaw, you have yellow markings around your eyes and mouth

If you’re a cockatiel, you have a killer mohawk/hair that is always very pointy and orange circles on your cheeks (how cute!)

I have a feeling that your hair is incredibly soft

Very sensitive wings

I feel like your teeth would be sharp and your nails would normally be fast-growing, long, and sharp

You tilt your head like impossibly far when you’re confused or trying to hear something better

Like your ear would almost be touching your shoulder

The head movements are very jerky and kinda just happen on their own when you hear something so you would have a lot of neck pain : (

You’re allergic to chocolate : (

I feel like people would underestimate you greatly and think you’re nothing except the ditzy comedic relief

Parrots are actually very intelligent

It bums you out to hear people say things like that behind your back when they think you can’t hear, but you try to not let them get to you

You give the best cuddles and are very affectionate with the people you’re close to (you’re also very cautious of strangers)

You’re also very in tune with the emotions of the people around you

You see someone sad? Head nuzzles and wing hugs

You see someone angry? You deescalate the situation the best you can and make sure they’re ok afterwards

You can dilate and contract your pupils rapidly at will

You may or may not stare at people doing it until they notice you staring or until they get creeped out

You fuck hard with any type of seed, nut, or fruit

When you get excited, it’s literally so cute??

Like you do everything parrots do

Little happy pitter patters with your feet, flutter your wings, your pupils contract and dilate rapidly, you make a ton of mob sounds

You’re easily excitable, hyper, and happy most of the time

It makes everyone happy to see you so excited so they would often go out of their way to get you things that make you happy

“Hey (y/n) I have some extra melon seeds if you want em!”

*Pupils contract and dilate rapidly*

You are loud

Like very loud

And very talkative

Like everyone knows where you are at all times

If you’re quiet and they know you’re around, either something is very wrong or they’re about to get pranked

God forbid you start to scream, your scream is loud enough to deafen someone for a brief amount of time and would leave everyone’s ears ringing for days on end

The mere mention of yours and Tommy's names together in one sentence is enough to give Philza a headache (someone give this poor man a couple of advils and a long vacation)

You two are literal demons when you’re together

Very chaotic relationship

You both like to fuck with people by sneaking up behind them

You would make mob sounds and Tommy would jump them before you two made a break for it

You and Tommy almost got killed by Techno a few times, but in your opinion the look on his face was 100% worth it every time

I feel like you would cart him up and down from the towers he builds

He could relate to being stereotyped as the stupid loud one, so he recognizes right away when you’re sad about it and will try to cheer you up

His main go to is the jukebox

Oh my god if he plays his jukebox around you, you go full send with your dancing

*AGGRESSIVE HEADBANGING*

He would laugh at your awful dancing, but he would join you eventually

Cat and Mellohi go hard

Speaking of music, Wilbur uses you as a walking soundboard

He needs a sound sample? You better prepare for spending most of your day recreating the sound

He needs back up vocals? You spend most of your day listening to his voice and other singers so you could replicate it

You don’t want to disappoint him so you try extra hard to appease his picky music composition

You kinda stress yourself out over it sometimes

When he notices (which he will, he’s very perceptive), he immediately calls it a day and has some sibling bonding time

You both bond over liking to eat strange things

Amazon macaws like to lick clay deposits on riverbanks so you like to have some on you at all times to lick when you get stressed

Wilbur carries some in a bag in his pocket and you carry a bag of sand

Whenever one of you notices the other has a rough day, you give each other your respective stuff

You have to be sneaky with it though, Philza always takes away nonedible stuff from his children if he sees them trying to eat it (he has good intentions tho)

It always looks like a drug deal

With Techno, I feel like he would find you incredibly annoying at first with how loud you are

He would actually start to hate you when you started to sneak up behind him

It got to the point to whenever he would hear your voice he would get irrationally mad and have to leave the house for a few hours

He, like everyone outside your family, would think you were useless and incredibly stupid

That was until he passed Tommy’s room one day and overheard you crying and telling Tommy about your insecurities

He would spend the next few days ignoring you bc he felt bad

He would spend those days contemplating on why he treated you like he did

Coming to the realization that you were likely trying to get closer to him and you were just being yourself, making him feel like the biggest piece of shit

He totally had no idea how to confront you about this, so naturally he went to Philza (that man was literally so happy that his children were gonna start to get along)

He would spend the day gathering golden melons because he found out that you’d never tried golden melons before from Philza

When he approached you one day with an apology and some golden melons, you were suspicious at first

He hated you, so why would he get you these things if he didn’t need anything from you?

Quickly finding that his apology is genuine and he felt incredibly bad for treating you like that over the years

You picked up on his guilt pretty quickly and made quick work to reassure him

He would take you on short trips and would soon find that you’re very useful in detecting mobs and deterring creepers with cat noises

He would never admit it, but he loves it when you would scare Tommy or Wilbur, thinking it’s hilarious

You also found out that carrying a seven and a half foot tall piglin hybrid was incredibly difficult to do, especially when flying

You two managed to get only about ten feet above the ground before your wings gave out under the strain and you fell on him

“(Y/n) has earned the achievement ‘When Pigs Fly’” flashed on everyone’s comm tablets that day

That wasn’t fun trying to explain to Philza

Philza would be ecstatic to have someone to fly with that he didn’t have to carry

He would take you on flights when you had too much energy

Sometimes racing each other and competing to do tricks midair (which sometimes you both rope your brothers into judging)

Late night flights when you need to get your mind off from something

Watching the sunrise together in silence for once

Bonding over being able to see ultraviolet light when everyone else couldn’t

You always give him the shiny things you come across and he gives you your favorite snacks

He always fusses over your wings, sometimes preening them for you

Helping each other through molts

Matches your excitement sometimes when you’re really happy

You feel bad whenever you hear stories of how difficult you were as a baby

He’s quick to reassure you that raising you was worth it and you turned out to be a great person

But he wouldn’t be lying when he said you were a difficult infant

Your terrible twos stage? His literal hell

Philza swears he can still hear ringing from whenever you would throw tantrums as a toddler, even years after you left your toddler age

He also still has some scars from when you went through your biting phase (teething was awful for you, his poor baby)

But he’s happy he was the one that raised you, he genuinely enjoys your presence

If you’re in a really affectionate mood he is more than willing to let you cuddle up to him while he reads a book or something

WING HUGS WING HUGS WING HUGS WIN-

When he’s had a long day and is stressed out, you immediately pick up on that and do everything in your power to make sure your brothers are quiet and behaved, try to find out what made him so stressed, and sometimes go out of your way to take care of it for him

You try to be the one taking care of him for once as much because he’s taken care of you so well throughout the years

He can tell if you’re overwhelmed or upset just with one glance at your ruffled feathers and your rapidly dilating and contracting pupils

Immediately pulling you out of the situation and letting you talk it out

Whenever he finds you sad about your insecurities, he points out every part of your personality that he loves

That’s before he hunts down the person that made you feel like this (he really lives up to his title of ‘The Angel of Death’)

Overall, you wouldn’t trade your family for the world

ONE PIECE DRESSROSA-ZOU ARCS IMPRESSIONS

This part is the spoiler-free part of my impressions.

I don’t know what I was expecting from Dressrosa but it didn’t left me wanting for more... outside the animation part, probably. But I mean when you get spoiled on how OP’s being animated rn, no sh*t. Although I really did enjoy the new characters. Cavendish is accidentally becoming one of my favourite characters and this is because of the anime of Gintama... But that’s because I’m finding more and more seiyuus in One Piece that just so happened to be voicing recurrent characters (or straight up main characters) in Gintama, so I shouldn’t be suprised.

And then there’s Zou and I’d lie if I’d say I should have had expected an island with furries, and yet I didn’t. ...and once again the “holy sh*t I wasn’t expecting these seiyuus being in One Piece too” striked back. But at this point I don’t know if it’s really because of Gintama or just because I’m starting to go back to my old teen hobbies like when I was a hardcore Seiyuu fan, and recognizing a lot of seiyuus is giving me a huge bust of serotonin. (?)

Above all, I liked Dressrosa more than Zou, even if Dressrosa has... it’s own issues.

Let’s start with Dressrosa:

I thought to just continue this lil update, where I started the non spoiler section by saying that I won’t feel any shame or make an apology for reblogging non stop posts of Roronoa Zoro, I’m still on that Idea, fight me if you want(maybe no); but I decided to explain more about my first impressions, and then maybe elaborate extra stuff from those bullet point-lighning round from that post.

Overall, I had fun. I geniuently enjoyed Doffy as a villain, and his motivations where pretty interesting too. NGL, this arc is basically new world Alabasta” and it pretty much shows... But the thing is that this time it was a little bit more interesting because of Doffy.

Doffy being the combo of Warlord and Celestial Dragon may sound like that moment of the Simpsons of “it’s just the same doll but with a new hat” in comparison to Alabasta, but even if I also enjoyed Crocodile as a villain in there, at least Doffy had a more interesting backstory and motivations to explore... while Crocodile was just an excuse to show off Nico Robin in all her glory. That’s it. I said it. (and probably made a fwend sad). Please, Crocodile, sir, next time you come back please do show us the secret Ivankov and you only know and then we talk.

Overall, I just had the time of my life hating Doffy, that’s it. I’m not going to try to explain anything else. I’m a basic b*tch whose favourite villains are the ones who are just so evil I just have the time of my life hating on. Like Tsurumi from Golden Kamuy, another despicable motherf*cker, for instance.

And now that I’m talking about Doffy... I KNOW UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE LIKE CORA-SAN AND I ALSO JOIN THE GANG. BEST FATHER EVER AND HE BARELY WAS ONE FOR 6 MONTHS. BUT GAVE BABY TORAO ENOUGH LOVE TO PREVENT HIM FROM BECOMING LIKE HIS BROTHER. KUDOS TO HIM.

...Btw, I just need to break this impressions one moment to openly say that, as a Spaniard, I feel weird now saying Doffy’s entire name. For a reason. And Cora-san’s too. Now I understand english speakers(americans to be more precisely) when they watch Bungou Stray Dogs and some characters from there just happened to be named after famous english literature writers... (the first comparison I just thought about, don’t attack me plz)

Also, kudos to the voice actors because they did an amazing job and I had even more fun, like for instance Koyama Rikiya. I absolutely loved Kyros thanks mainly to him... Although I wish I could entirely say the same about Rebecca and Baby 5 because they barelly had any screentime or, at least personally speaking, didn’t to bring something interesting tothe table... Well, maybe I can excuse Baby 5 because of the ending of Punk Hazard, but with Rebecca definetly not. FFS her seiyuu is the Queen Hayashibara Megumi, I was expecting more from Rebecca (although maybe the blame is really in me for expecting that much) than what we got. But don’t get me wrong, I did like her but.. I wanted just a little bit more of her.

Another thing I enjoyed a lot was the introduction of Fujitora. I knew he was popular for a reason, but I wasn’t expecting it to be... because of this. I was expecting him to be popular only because he was a blind old man who could fight harder than the dudebro’s gary stu fanfic-like idea they have of Zoro, but he’s definetly not that. Fujitora is a really interesting man who geniuently thinks about people’s safety (can’t say the same about Sakazuki and Borsalino, lol), and I respect that.

*LAST MOMENT EDIT BECAUSE I FORGOT ANOTHER VERY IMPORTANT THING* THE REUNION OF LUFFY AND SABO MADE ME CRY TOO. I DON’T KNOW, I’M CRYING TOO MUCH OVER ONE PIECE

Now I’m just going through some bullet points from the update post:

First bullet point I’m actually elaborating: The Colloseum part was hella boring.

I just couldn’t stand it. I barely gave any sh*t about the characters and there’s also times where I’m just thinking that the Colloseum part could had been handled differently, with more interesting characters but well, that’s my opinion. I mean the only tournament arcs that I genuenly enjoyed were the Galaxy Wars from Saint Seiya (the OG one from the 80′s if somebody’s wondering), and maybe the Heaven’s Arena arc from HxH, so even if I was interested on seeing the OP take on it.. It kinda went sour for me at the beggining of this tournament, honestly. The fight versus Diamante was probably one of the very few interesting things happening inside the tournament.

And don’t get me wrong, interesting things do happen inside, like the encounter of Luffy and Rebecca, the fate of the losers from the colloseum, etc. But the tournament arc itself... not the best thing, pretty boring tbh.

The second bullet point I’m actually elaborating, but this time I’m literally copy-pasting the bullet point... for a reason: I STARTED TO SWEAT IN F*CKING FEAR WHEN NAMI’S GROUP ENCOUNTERED BIG MAM’S SHIP, AND EVEN MORE WHEN SANJI SAID “I’M GETTING INTO THAT SHIP”. NO. PLEASE. DON’T. I’M NOT READY FOR WHOLE CAKE ISLAND YET.

Look, by the time I’m writing this I’m already in Whole Cake and let me just tell you one thing; I’m still not ready for this arc. I know it’s very important, specially for Sanji’s development as a character and it’s like a re-introduction of him, but I’d lie if I’d said that I “do feel sensitive” around the themes explored in this arc, and it’s personally tought to go throught it but... Since it’s just too long and too personal to share the entire reason on a public post, I’m just leaving it as the following: “I’m not ready to tackle those themes, but I feel like I need to tackle them if I want to be the best version of myself”. That’s all.

The third and last bullet point I’m actually elaborating, LET ME TELL YOU HOW GINTAMA F*CKED ME UP ENTIRELY

For the sake of being short, I’m a crazy Gintama fan. I’m almost like an encyclopedia of shorts for all(?) Gintama content. I’ve been like this since I was 14-15 y/o (when I’m writing this I’m currently 25), so of course, if there’s something that remotely resembles something from Gintama (mainly gintama jokes or references when it happens), I’ll react to it instantly (but in a healthy way, not like an obnoxious annoying elitist lil sh*t of a fan), and sadly, part of this curse I ended up with included reconizing every single seiyuu that appeared in Gintama (or at least the ones who voiced important/popular characters) in other anime. And of course, seiyuus from Gintama did already appear before Dressrosa; like kid Ace’s seiyuu Sakaguchi Daisuke (voice of Shinpachi), or... Akainu’s seiyuu Tachiki Fumihiko (voice of Hasegawa “Madao” Taizou)... But then there’s Dressrosa and... It just went all over the board (pun not intended... does it even count as one tho?).

And don’t get me wrong, this did also happened to me on reverse with One Piece Seiyuus, but.... coming back to “Gintama f*cked me up”, it hitted differently, because it almost looked like they were casted to play certain characters based on the characters they played in Gintama and... NGL, it made everything even more hilarious. Like the fact that Kugimiya Rie voices a bad mouthed “child” in One Piece(Sugar)... just like she does in Gintama(Kagura). And I know technically speaking Sugar “is an adult” BUT, if we follow the logic of her Hobby Hobby fruit, she’s doomed to be an eternal child for the rest of her life, as in “no more development like a normal adult human would”. I’m just saying what the canon says, don’t mind me.

...Or Cavendish. I can confirm you that Cavendish is pretty much Gintama’s Katsura Kotarou’s madness as an OP character. And now he’s one of my favourite background characters in One Piece... Mainly because of that. And yes, they do in fact share the seiyuu Ishida Akira. (Also, is it just me or is he inspired by Lady Oscar from The Rose of Versailles???)

...So yeah, TLDR: too much gintama made me shout “oh shit, gintama’s taking over one piece”

Now with the Zou impressions

I liked the idea of Zou being an “island”, that’s not an Island but a millennia old elephant, walking around and hard to track down. Brilliant. Also, I’m pretty sure it’s inspired by something mythological but I still can’t point out which one.

...also I wasn’t expecting Pedro to be voiced by Miki Shin’Ichiro, in the same way I wasn’t expecting Orikasa Fumiko as Wanda... although she already voiced someone previously in One Piece so...

Even if it was a short arc, it gave a lot of valuable information like the origin of the poneglyphs and the link between the Mink tribe and the Kozuki clan from Wano but...

What I wasn’t expecting was how we got introduced to the Whole Cake arc. I came to this arc, thinking the Whole Cake thing won’t be that mentioned and... I ended up crying because of the sacrifice Sanji was willing to partake in... I feel bad for that guy... And since by the time of writing this I’m already in Whole Cake... Without spoilers I’ll say: yeah, no sh*t I was feeling bad for him” (also because I got almost entirely spoiled over all Whole Cake arc).

...but look, ngl, I didn’t like very much the ending of this arc. Probably what happened to Momonosuke and the Millennia old elephant may be more interesting and better explained in the near future but... I was more confused than anything, and I’m hopping it to be better explained in the future. I’ll just leave it as such.

Over all, if I had to choose, I’d say that Dressrosa was more entertaining than Zou... Although Zou did deliver bigger stuff when it comes to plot development, while Dressrosa was more focused on the next step to overthrow a Yonkou than anything, I felt like I had more ”fun” watching Dressrosa... Probably because I also want to get to Wano already.

Now I’m in Whole Cake arc, I’m more or less by the beggining of the arc and oh boy... This arc is going to be harder than expected and the only thing ready I have are the pocket tissues by my side because I already know I’m going to cry the hell out of this arc. And of course, have my soul utterly destroyed by the Reintroduction of Sanji and his past.

I hope he has a break after this because wow... He needs too many hugs to count. Probably more than Luffy in Marineford.

He Gave Us The Signal

I’ve been giving Batman a lot of sh*t lately and feel like this gives the impression that i actually hate the character. I don’t. I actually really love Batman. His entire mythos is really the only thing i like about DC Comics. I find the way there heroes are represented to be unwieldy and too fantastical for me. I absolutely know how contradictory that sounds because, you know, comic books, but lets be honest; It’s a lot easier identifying with Spider-Man than it is Superman. Marvel characters, from the outset, were grounded in the real world. They were written like real people. I got into comics during the gritty Eighties so all of the comic companies were trying to reintroduce more grounded, grimy, fare. Indeed, my first Batman comic i ever read was the introduction of Killer Croc. The first Bat-book i ever purchased with my own money was The Killing Joke. That version of Bat,an is my batman and, while i have had a roller coaster relationship with the character over the last thirty years, dude remains one of my favorite characters to date. I just wanted to take some time and gush about what i love most in the Bat-verse. Just the comics though. If i included ancillary media like the cartoons, movies, or games, I'd end up writing an entire novel.

Cassandra Cain

I love Cass. Love her. I think she is the best addition to the Bat-Family, period. Aside from injected a bit of Asian representation into a mainstream comic with little to no fuss, her character is the most compelling one since Bruce, himself, to get that shine. Progeny of super-skilled assassin, David Cain, and one of, if not, THE best martial artist in all of DC, Lady Shiva, Cassandra is a one woman wrecking crew. She was hones as a living weapon since birth, for the sole purpose of brutalizing man. Cass is an AR-15 with legs. She is easily the best warrior, including Bruce, among the Bat-fam and yet, the most delicate. Watching Cassandra grow from a violent mute into the woman she was right before the New 52 was a pleasure. And then she was erased for half a decade. That sucked. However, her recent reintroduction as Orphan has been pretty chill. I like the relationship she has with Duke Thomas. I liked how she could feel compassion for someone like Clayface, even if no one else could see the same thing she could. I love Cassandra Cain, man. I loved her as the bet Batgirl. I loved her when she had her title snaked away and became Black Bat. I'm loving her as Orphan. I like what Cass has become so far. Here’s hoping they don’t f*ck her up going forward.

Knightfall

I actually really like Knightfall as a concept. I don’t much care for all of the other sh*t that goes on after the book, Azrael Batman was a mistake only redeemed by his White Knight revamp, but i tend to gravitate toward arcs where Bats is given the full-court press and Knightfall is one of the best. It also introduces Bane, a character i am rather indifferent to but still respect, as a proper force of nature. To this day, his breaking of the Bat has been a defining moment in the Bat-mythos, one that has lingering repercussions like The Killing Joke or No Man’s Land.

Damian Wayne

Damian took a few years to grow on me but i love the little dude. he’s like a mini version of his assault father and i love it. There is so much sass packed in that little kid, it’s ridiculous. That said, he is not to be taken lightly. Damian Wayne is child of Brice and Talia Al Ghul, through what can only be seen as a drugged rape at some point. We’ve seen this idea flirted with a few times, the first i can recall being Ibn Al Xu'ffasch from Alex Ross’ Kingdom Come. When i realized who that character was, i was shocked and intrigued. It felt like there was a ton of potential there and a proper missed opportunity for mainstream DC comics. A decade later, we were properly introduced to one of the best additions to the Bat-Family in decades. Not better than Cass, though. And, before you get at me about that super deepcut, questioning my Bat-cred and everything, yes, i am aware that, technically, a version of Damian exists in the main Bat-contnutity dating back to the Eighties. Son of the Bat is a thing that i acknowledge but that kid as never names and had no character so i prefer to think the 06 introduction is the real origin of Damian. Plus, kid got a pet cow. That sh*t is adorable.

Joker

I wanted to put Joker War here because that was the best Knightfall story I've read in years but then i hesitated because i realized how much i loved Endgame. And then A Death in the Family. And then The Three jokers. And then The War of Jokes and Riddles. And then Emperor Joker. and then White Knight. And then The Killing Joke. And then The Man Who Laughs. And the Mad Love. And so many more that escape me at the moment I'm writing this. I realized that it was Joker, himself, that i loved so much and for good reason. Joker is, quite literally, the best comic book antagonist of all time. He’s so malleable, evolving over the years with the times and trends, lending his distinct clown chaos to some of the best Bat-stories ever written. The ambiguity of his identity coupled with the fact that he knows Batman’s entire history is absolutely horrifying. The fact that he refuses to even assault Bruce on a civilian level because “it’s not fun” is absolutely contradictory and solidifies his position as pure, antagonistic, chaos for the Batman, alone. There is no Joke without the Bat and i love that dynamic so much. I love this character so much!

The Court of Owls

I really enjoyed this whole arc. Thomas Wayne Jr. The Talons. The whole clandestine cabal of elites, poisoning Gotham for their own gain. It tickles my tin hat sensibilities while being something that makes all of the sense for the cesspool that is Gotham City. The Court of Owls was easily one of the best narratives to come out of the overall abortion that was the New 52 and i appreciate Scot Snyder for bringing it to us. This narrative fleshes out a lot of underlying aspects of the mythos, gives a bit more agency to and intrigue to Dick, and allows for a myriad of potential stories where Batman is effectively pitted against Gotham, itself.

Jason Todd

I was never a he fan of Todd as Robin. At that point, it was just him and Dick, and Dick was a MUCH better character. In my opinion. I enjoyed his introduction, though. Snatching the rims of the Batmobile was kind of a brilliant way to differentiate him from goody-goody Grayson. If I was old enough to vote, I definitely would have voted to kill him way back when. Fast forward to his resurrection in Under the Red Hood, and I am hooked. His super edgy, Punisher-esque, vigilante justice is fantastic to see. Todd is understandably brutal, violent, and unforgiving. His solution to crime is a bullet between the eyes and that makes for the most interesting dynamic with his pops. More than that, outside of the Bat-family books, Todd is thriving. I love Red Hood and the Outlaws. The current run, not the original. Mostly his relationship with Artemis but I adore the big brother position he took with Bizarro, too. Jason Todd started out as a ridiculous replacement for a beloved Robin, got beaten with a crowbar then exploded, resurrected decades later to take on the mantle of the man who killed him, raved through Gotham on a one-man mission to destroy everything that was the Bat or Joke, and eventually settled into being the black-ops branch of the Bat-fam. I respect his growth as a character and I love his relation ship with Artemis to bits. That feels super right. That Trinity, the Dark Trinity, is my favorite and it absolutely has everything to do with Jason Todd's utter bad-assery. His new costume his sh*t, tho.

White Knight

I’ve literally wrote an entire essay, gushing about my love for this Elseworlds universe. You can search for that on this blog by looking up Bat Kino or White Knight to bring up my detailed fangasm if you’re curious but, in short, the White Knight universe is the best Bat-anything I've read in years. I really, really, liked Endgame but White Knight is so much more compelling a read, it’s hard not to give it the edge.

Harley Quinn

I’ve written in part about my love for Harley in my post about my disdain for Punchline. I love Harley, man. Watching her growth as a character has been a very real privilege. She’s been handled incredibly well by the writers at DC and watching her popularity grow over the years has been very refreshing. Harley always had the potential to be great. Her introduction in the Timmverse was one that sent ripples throughout the fandom so, when she was moved over to the comics, it made sense she’d be a hit. More than that, comic stories are free from the constraints of television censors and we saw an absolute evolution of Harleen over the next three decades. Harley went from being a lovesick whipping girl, locked in a violently abusive relationship with one of the worst psychopaths in all of DC, to a brilliant vigilante and trusted ally to the Bat-family I love that Harleen has found real love with Ivy, even if DC keeps shenaniganing that relationship. I love that she uses her PhD whenever she can. I love that she is one of the most complete, nuanced, and fun characters in the entirety of the Bat-fam. Harley Quinn is a real gem and one of the best things about modern Batman. Even is I do miss the old jester outfit.

There is, legitimately, SO much more I can reference because Batman has a very LONG history full of content to adore. Off the top of my head, Bat-Cat, Hush, Bluebird, We Are Robin, Year One, Damned, The Dark Knight Returns, The Long Halloween, Signal, Beyond, Gotham Girl, Thomas Wayne; It's like an embarrassment of riches. If I listed everything, I'd be here all day. Just Joker stuff, alone, is more than enough to fill several of these lists. I really, genuinely, love Batman which is why it's so seeing him written so poorly as of late. The climax to Joker War was excellent, I'll admit that, but the lingering issues with that OC Punchline chick taints that triumph for me a little bit. The idea of The Batman Who Laughs and the entirety of the Dark Multiverse is absolutely intriguing, but look what they did to my boy. They massacred my boy with all of this literal godhood nonsense. And don't even get me started on this Ghost Killer guy. I thought Clown Hunter was a little bit of a shark jump but this guy? Word? Batman is a great character with one of the best rouges galleries in comics (Spider-Man give him a run for his money) and one of the deepest, richest, histories to pull from. He is a character that has endured for eighty years and I know he's weather this panicked stunt writing as of late. I just have to remember the stuff I love and try to tolerate the rest. Even after taking the worst kind of hit, Batman always finds a way to stand back up.

Hey when you can, could i get your take on either top 5 or 10 villians you've seen in t.v., video games, comics, cartoons, anything, and reasons why or some traits of great villians in your opinion, I'm currently working on my own series/show/comic/something and I'm writing out the "villian" as is his function, so I'm curious what you think.

Oh! I see, I see. Well, in my personal opinion, here are some of the greatest villains I’ve seen so far:

1) Bill Cipher from Gravity FallsOne of the most feared but appreciated bad guy out there and probably one of the rare kind of “op done right” character because he may be powerful af but he has his fair share of weaknesses as well and his personality really adds an appealing aspect to what he’s capable of doing. He’s funny but in a way that makes you totally alarmed and reminded to not underestimate him because of what he can do and it lives up to the build-up of his character as someone you really don’t want to mess with. He is quite unique that way.

2) Thanos from Marvel UniverseThis titan is one of the most well-written antagonist I could ever think of present today. He has clear motives with an interesting perspective/ philosophy and although his ideas may seem bad to us or we disagree about—it’s something you can understand why he’s doing all he can to make it happen because to him, he’s just trying to do what he thinks is the right thing for the universe, not just for himself. In his own eyes, he’s the good guy who is well-aware of the consequences of his actions and is prepared to take them all head on. Which is why no matter how much people will hate him, there’s still an understanding behind all his commitments. He’s not being bad for the sake of being bad at all.

3) Loki Laufeyson the God of Mischief from Marvel Thor Who doesn’t like this character??? Seriously, one of the most lovable antagonist out there. He says “If you’re gonna be a villain, then might as well do it with godly class” right in your face I mean—have you seen those iconic horn helmet??? No but in all seriousness, I loved the progression of his personal growth as a character. He is misunderstood and broken but he accepts who he is and embraces it, it makes his role as a mischievous god really organic to his character and that’s what makes him a great antagonist.

4) Catra from She-ra and the Princesses of PowerPersonally, one of my favorite anti-hero out there. She’s a broken character strongly striving to prove her worth to everybody because she refuse to be undervalued any longer by anyone around her. She plays their dirty game if she sees fit just to show them that she can fight back which is something I can really respect about her character. And even tho she has done some terrible things which are not by any means excusable, I sympathize with her because I understand where she’s getting at doing so knowing her background story so it’s hard to hate her being aware of the kind of environment she grew up in.

5) Azula from Avatar: The Last AirbenderThis character has so much going on with her. There’s so many layers of complexity in her character and makes her so much interesting over the course of the series. She’s a very skilled, smart, independent, and manipulative person who will twist herself until she breaks if that was what it takes to get people’s respect and it’s really impressive at how she does it and tragic of what she became to be in the end.

BNHA AU Ideas : University Professors (in Love)

Also on AO3!

TL;DR:

Due to a long-standing feud between various Law and Science professors, the students from those respective degrees don’t get along very well. What better way to foster some good (or at least non-violent) relations between departments than to start a new science-in-law degree?

Too bad the Law and Science professors - Yamada Hizashi and Aizawa Shouta, respectively - working on the course together hate each other's guts.

(Well, until they fall in love.)

Oh and Izuku and Hitoshi are sleep deprived first years running on noodles and Redbull, but what else is new?

this is at a big ass, top tier university

all might is like, the david attenbourgh of this universe but he got injured on set and moved to teaching, he's not that relevant i just wanted to include him because hes a good man

so, aizawa is under all might in the science faculty hierarchy, but not by much considering how young he is. aizawas the animal physiology teacher and does shit tones of research with zoos and shelters for husbandry studies

now, the two big draws of this campus are like the wet sciences and their law section, but the whole campus is pretty swish: like if gatton and st. lucia were connected with land but still as weird as the other.

Now none of you know anything about my uni, so imagine not quite an Ivy League school, but still one of the fancier collages in your state, with a redneck agricultural campus slapped on. But the rednecks are liberals.

Now imagine they are run by the same people

so one of the law lectures retires and they get a new one! its mic! and now aizawa is already pissed. hes dealt with mic before riding his ass in ethics committees and honestly just making life harder for him than it had to be

and the university tells him to reduce the hostility between the two sides of the campus, they are going to be holding some law classes in the animal side and vice versa and aizawa is piiisssssedddd

and then they fucking, start a new animal science/law degree about animal ethics law and aizawa is flipping his fucking lid because all might is already the vet science-vet tech degree co-ordinator and since aizawa is so new, hes the highest-ranking person to not be a degree coordinator

so of course, hes the new degree coordinator

but oh no, nezu isnt done

hes coordinating with mic, and they are the two primary lecturers for the two first, second and third-year compulsory subjects so aizawa is having a mini breakdown rant at allmight in the staff room when mic bursts in to say hello

allmight shoves aizawa in the cupboard and nervously chats to mic as aizawa tries not to make a noise from where he was quickly shoved into a cupboard of skeletons. hes internally saying sorry to the skeleton of that one tutor who donated himself to the uni. mic leaves, allmight helps him out and aizawa is just caught between pissed and flustered tbh

so the science people band together to allow aizawa to drown his sorrows in the nice food on the other side of the campus

and they have fucking, disguised aizawa

hes in one of nemuri's wigs, a pair of sunglasses from snipe and one of the nice lab techs named inko gave him a big puffy coat

and so this pack of science nerds is penguin huddle sprinting to the one ramen shop they all love, trying to hide aizawa from nezu, hizashi, and other random law students/lecturers hes pissed off

so allmight swears he sees hizashi but its nbd he only waves

so they get there, and all give aizawa sympathetic looks and buy him his lunch even though he insists he has money. inko the lab tech is there too bc i love her and she is aggressively mothering aizawa

when they are done they run back to the science side because no one has the courage needed to stop a hoard of sprinting scientists. also: nemuri is the chem lecturer and you should know that

its like the middle of the school year when this starts, so aizawa and hizashi have to scrap together this degree real fucking quickly

even though the both of them have Opinions about the other, they refuse to let their students suffer bc of how poorly planned this was so they knuckle the fuck down and bust out 1.5 years worth of content before the end of the year. they dont do much in person, mostly just emailing

aizawa is softer on mic bc they guy isn't horrific over email. unknown to him mic has developed a full-on crush on this guy

hes like, crying to joke "hes just,,, he wants to do good for his students you know? he isnt just a lecturer for the research money,,, he c a r e s,,,"

the whole god damn science faculty is mothered by the head lab animal tech, inko and they see her fretting about one day, and its turns out this whole fucking time shes had a son and didn't want to say anything bc she didn't wanna impose

(yagi has a big ol crush on her but nbd)

and so shes surrounded by all these nerds asking ab izuku and how old he is, and what he likes to do and they've never seen her happier rambling about her son. She tells them she let slip ab the new degree a little early, and izuku wants to be in it so badly and everyone is real soft

hes graduating next year, so thats even more motivation for aizawa to buck up and make this degree work bc he knows one of the kids now, and from what inkos told him, the boys a good kid

the entire faculty has already adopted izuku

one thing she hasn't mentioned ab izuku is that hes got chronic fatigue syndrome

aka izuku is constantly exhausted, his immune system is a bit shit, and hes in chronic pain that isnt affected by painkillers, other symptoms can just like, pop up, its pretty not understood

anyway, thats the reason izuku wants to get into animal law, not vet practise, bc hes not sure he'll always be able to physically pick up the animals and he doesnt wanna do them like that

anyway, its near the end of the year and its time to set the OP threshold. I have 0 idea how you guys get into uni, but an OP is basically: your grades are ranked, then your subjects are ranked, then your school is ranked by a fancy test. Your OP is the score from 1-25 you get with all that jazz. 1-5 is like: you can do almost anything. 1 is like doctors, vets, law. 1-15 is pretty respectable, under than you might need to do a little fuckery to get into a course.

mic is pushing for like, 10, bc its a new degree

but aizawa isn't having that. op 2 or he wont sign off on it and mic doesnt understand why and aizawa just turns towards him

"im not having animals suffer lower standards than humans. standard law is an op 1. vet science is an op 1. im already making a concession here."

mic swoons a little tbh, they eventually agree on op 5

anyway, izuku has an op 2 so its nbd for him, inko is so proud of her boy! aizawa has a little "thank fuck" moment bc he really did want this kid to get in bc he sounded like a good kid. also, mic's nephew shinso is in the first class! aizawa is actively trying not to remember the kids name so he isn’t a dick to him for 0 reason

there is like a grand total of 80 people in this degree which honestly isnt that bad

super high rate of externals tho, so there are only 50 students on campus

20 students in the campus dorms

izuku is one of them, he was gonna get in anyway but they put him in and gave him a nice first floor room bc making the poor guy walk up and down stairs for no reason is just mean

hes in self-catered bc while hes not super picky, hes allergic to some stuff, and some other stuff makes him sick, so no dining hall

shinso is his nextdoor neighbour. hes in self-catered bc he put his form in late and thats the only spot they had left! he cant cook so save his actual life.

so, mirio is the ra and hes a big soft 4th-year vet, he works out to give the dogs hugs

amajiki is his neighbour he has a cat - i mean - very loud fish (aka: no pets other than fish allowed)

when mirio likes people, he just,,, puts a cat in their face, and insists its a fish until they get it

that cats name is guppy i don’t make the rules

ok so, izuku and shinso meet and bond a bit in freshers’ week (think hazing, but gentle, with loads of games and forced bonding), but shinso is intimidated bc izuku is smiley and social and has loads of friends

and that does a 180 when he gets back to his room after a late-night walk, seeing izuku crying in the kitchen as he waits for the kettle to boil because a hot water bottle is the only thing that might stop his arms from aching

and shinso like, hides bc he gets not wanting people to know what's wrong but from then one he is SUPER protective of izuku

anyway, end of the week izuku confesses that he has chronic pain so he might be a bit grumpy sometimes and shinsou has to be like "oh its nbd" when one day he almost smacked their other neighbour with a piece of frozen steak bc he was making too much noise in the morning when izuku got to sleep really late

on the weekend they play videogames and make popcorn as the other kids go home, and they get visited by inko and Hizashi

inko is mothering izuku and has two very fat rats in her arms that she dumps on him and he lights up

see: izuku isnt allowed pets. but no one said anything about inko

so she got the two softest, dumbest, babiest rats shes ever seen and they live on her desk now. and shinso is like "SONs" and they have rats in their jumpers while all 3 of them play mariokart

hizashi stops by to help shinso cook bc he admitted hes only been eating frozen shit. izuku is gently telling him off bc he could have helped! but shinso is like "no i needed to maintain my cool vibes" so hizashi gently grabs izuku, sets up the two chairs like fluffy thrones and they order shinso around the kitchen like hes a servant

shinso is loosing his actual mind laughing and so is izuku. they force him to make katsu curry and eat it in the kitchen on their thrones while shinso sits on a shitty box fridge. there are more chairs left, hes being extra

so, first day of classes, they have principals of law first, izuku drags his pained ass out of bed and he and shinso make their way to class, both freezing fucking cold holding mugs of hot drink

they sit down

the lecturer is mic

izuku is losing his shit and shinso is like "oh yeah didnt i tell you?" and izuku is trying not to cackle/punch him. he waves sheepishly at mic who waves back with great enthusiasm

mics first class is just

it’s not even law-related, it’s just random bs animal facts

shinsos name is c a t s and hizashi is losing his mind bc izuku set his name as d o g s r b e t t e r

the lectures r live-streamed so the external students can join in real-time and monomas on the other end like s n a k e

hizashi is losing his actual m i n d, everyone just has variations of their favourite animal

also pwease during this lecture mic is just chatting w the students ab whats going to happen, sees izukus mug of tea and says

"ok and just so everyone knows, please feel free to eat and drink in my lectures, just dont let anyone know i said that

"sir this is being recorded"

pls bakugous that one asshole that whips out a full course meal and starts distributing it amongst his squad. bakugo is just a plain law student, but there are some plain law students taking this course as an elective

mic honestly looks bakugo in the eyes, and orders pizza for everyone but him. hes standing in font of the mic so its fucking recorded too. izuku is cackling

ok so, they have an hour break and go to the cafe, inko crashes and smuggles them outside, and gives them the rats

inko and izuku aren't super well off financially bc they are saving for a service dog and its EXPENSIVE, even tho inko makes ok money, husband divorced her bc izuku was sick, izuku has issues, was bullied in school, has had cfs for ages

so inko has these rats bc she "liberated" them from the end of a cosmetics trial she heped nemuri run and nerumi stood infront of the secruity camera and closed her eyes

anyway, next lecture is aizawa's

shinso has vaguely heard ab the guy from hizashi and desperately wants to sit in the back row. izuku has heard ab the guy vaguely from inko and desperately wants to sit in the front row. izuku wins bc they walked in through the lower door and shinso doesnt wanna make the guy walk up all those steps

aizawa walks in, nicely says hello to shinso, izuku and the over kid in the front row, tells the people in the back row that if they think he cant see or hear them from there they have another thing coming, and immediately starts talking ab how many people working in animal-related fields and in law are depressed

izuku raises his hand, while shinso is aggressively trying to pull it down

"yes, kid?"

"what if you're already depressed, professor?"

aizawa pauses, turns off the mic and loses his shit quietly behind his desk, shinso is red and trying to hide, izuku looks proud of himself. aizawa gets himself together, coughs, and turns the mic back on

"seems we had a bit of a technical difficulty, continuing on"

and the whole room loses their shit, and aizawa is grinning like an idiot but his voice is the same pissed monotone as usual

just have to Be There for aizawas lectures like everyone who doesn’t show up is like :///// idk why y’all like him so much he’s kinda boring and izukus like No you have to Be There

in Person

everyone thinks the guy is a boring old man who keeps breaking his computers. in reality, hes like 26, really tired, and keeps losing his shit so hard he turns off the mic so No One Can Know

one time he walked in in hot pink leggings and when he asked "any questions?" ochako (a vet tech student in the class) ask "sir where did you buy those because they look amazing" "the internet, ochako. any other questions."

and bc you cant hear the students all the externals are trying to work out what the question was. it becomes a meme

last day of lectures they all show up in matching leggings. aizawas soft but he Refuses to show them. they fucking found the site he bought them from, all of them have pink leggings in increasingly vibrant shades

shinso's are like, lilac

izukus are eyebleeding, highlighter pink

anyway! mic likes to share the tea from behind the scenes

and so they learn ab the "really sweet department head with a crush on a lab tech" and izuku loses his shit. puts his hand up, and mic says "yeah?"

izuku clambers out of his seat, asks mic to turn the recording off, takes the mic and stares down the class

"that lab tech in my mum and shes smitten for this guy. totally smitten."

'ooOH SHIT REALLY?"

izuku just grins and nods

"ok class, extra credit. can we go through this uni's stance on dating co-workers. anyone who gives me a quick, sighted explanation of whether or not we can hook these two up gets 5% of their final mark, no questions asked"

fuckin, izuku is so on board with this, and tells hizashi he'll leave the assignments on inkos table at home if he wants, the whole class gets so fucking into it

anyway, after all that jazz izuku spots yagi and inko out for coffee together and reports it as a win, the class cheers

as an aside: hizashi is very open ab the fact hes one of 2 degree coordinators but he hasnt mentioned the second

its also very obvious he has a crush on the second, and that hes a little older than them (hizashi is 32, shouta is 26) now, literally no one thinks aizawa is the other

bc hes 26, and wears fucking pink leggings to lectures. hes like, hes baby. hes so small, so young, takes his cat to class in a backpack

its literally only the externals who think he could be bc they think hes like 50. aizawa has the curse of just having great fucking bone structure, hes really god damn hot. half of their love letters pages is people thirsting over him and hes so mad ab it. he doesnt brush his hair and wears dumb clothes but apparently, that makes him relatable or some shit

anyway, hizashi is off-topic talking ab the lab tech that mothers the other course coordinator and shinso sees izuku perk up

they guy has been looking out of it all morning bc hes having a bad day, but wanted to go to lectures. anyway, after the lecture hes scrambles over to hizashi and asks

"oh my god is the other coordinator professor aizawa”

"damn, what gave it away"

"mum mothers him because he never eats and he apparently looks like hes barely 20, which is false, but thats mum for you"

once they get out of lectures izuku is like

"shinso. shinso"

and shinso looks lost

wow two asks for Mahiru OvO;;) well okay then!

First impression: Somehow seems both like your typical average shounen main character… but also a lot different for other anime mc’s that I have seen before??? Not sure if he’s really brave or just kinda insane…. 😅 Oh well, at least he’s cute. 😂💕

Impression now: Oh my gosh, I can’t even begin to explain how proud I am of Mahiru’s character development!!! I don’t even know where to begin, but the only issue I have now is that I feel like the more we learn about Mahiru’s character the more tragic his character seems… he’s gone through a lot in recent chapters…(with being injured, us learning about his real father… and then the untold story about his mom) and while he seems to be handling most things well so far, there’s still a lot Mahiru is unaware about… and I feel like everything is going to hit him at once at some point,,, and that makes me real sad for him. ;;; I’m sure he’ll stay strong, but Strike has been full of surprises lately so I’m extremely skeptic to say that fksafkajdlsj

Favorite moment: Huh. I just suddenly realized I have never thought about my most favorite Mahiru moment… I have several tbh but Mahiru vs. Touma was all pretty awesome!! Well expect for one certain part if you know what I mean…it made my arm hurt too….

Idea for a story: jlkjkas I have so many random aus including Mahiru already. 😂 I think my favorite is age au? and married au heheehehe~

Unpopular opinion: Most of these are very rare now, but at one point this was pretty prominent? But I don’t like when Mahiru is treated like he’s super dainty or weak. :/ and he’s always “the uke uwu” and then people use that to treat Mahiru like he’s some kind of damsel in distress? Like… I’m sorry but what part of Mahiru is weak? He’s literally braver and mentallystronger than a lot of other characters. I know Mahiru makes very reckless decisions and can be overly trusting sometimes and has to be saved from that,-oh when will he learn? Mahiru may be a human character and isn’t as strong as a vampire, but come on he’s not that pathetic or dumb. Another thing I’m not really a fan of is Mahiru being gender bended so much….? I don’t usually care that much when people do Rule 63 stuff or whatever we call it these days. It’s just when it’s only Mahiru being a girl?? and no one else usuallyfor some reason?? But mainly for only two reasons:

I’ve just personally never been into that kind of thing. Many fandoms I’ve been into over the years do the whole “take a ship that’s originally two boys or two girls and make one of them a girl or guy so the ship is straight now” I couldn’t ever really get into it,,, I always found it really odd no matter what the context was. Not like context is usually ever given tho…? It’s just weird to me.

There’s another personal reason…It was only super early in the fandom I knew a small group of people who liked Fem!Mahiru and I thought the ideas and stuff were cute when I listened to them at first, but… then I learned that they preferred Mahiru ONLY as a female? and they hated ALL “yaoi” ships?? So the only time they would make anything KuroMahi was only when they gender bended Mahiru… they did that for many other ships I learned too, While it might not really bother me in other circumstances people should be allowed to enjoy their fiction the way they want to and we should all be respectful of that, But that was the only case when it started to really rub me the wrong way. What’s even worse was when they explained why they liked Mahiru better as a girl… “He’s basically a mom already xD, and does super girly things like cooking and housework anyways!! He’s the perfect housewife!! It’s just so easy to gender bend him!!!” I’m sorry but that’s all kinds of fucked up to me because a man doing housework shouldn’t be considered overly feminine or weird. Because knowing how to do those things are important for anyone to know, especially when you live alone. So it should be considered normal that a guy knows how to cook and care for his home, but noooo. To them it’s only a women’s job I guess. So therefore Mahiru is better off as a girl. Stop. It’s sexist. Like… why ship a ship that’s two guys in the first place when you only like the ship when only one of them is a girl? Just ship an actual straight ship instead lol I’m glad that’s NOT the case for everyone, but only that specific time it really bothered me, so it was hard for me to get back into it ever. Also cause op admitted to being homophobic anyways. So yikes. wow this section got long…. ksdsjlfakjf ;;;

Favorite relationship: Sakuya and Mahiru or Kuro and Mahiru (or better yet KuroMahiSaku lol) I’ve always liked both individual ships in their own different way. Both have always fluctuated being either romantic or platonic to me, it’s always just depends on certain things. I only like when they are portrayed just right. 👌 I’ve seen both ships portrayed in weird ways lol But for both I’m fine with either being portrayed as a romantic relationship or even just a really good friendship. 💙❤💚 The reason I started liking both relationships in those ways is because just how important Mahiru is to both Kuro and Sakuya. Mahiru cares about them both like how he cares about all his friends. ;w;) Honestly, I like all of Mahiru’s other friendships too. I wish we could see Mahiru interactions with his other friendships too ;v;) I would love to see more eve and eve friendship moments. Like with Misono, Tetsu or even Licht. Also Ryusei and Koyuki… where are they?

Favorite headcanon: It’s too hard for me to pick just one– but all the hcs recently about what Mahiru really is have been super interesting!

i know this might sound fabricated, that people will have their own opinions and that the messages probably won’t stop anytime soon. but i did want to take the time to address a few things that have come to light in the past 24 hours, and more than anything thank those who have taken the time to reach out and continue the conversation. i’m not too sure if this will solely be an apology post or an overall goodbye, but i think the former is far more important right now. thanking in advance to those who take the time to read this.

so firstly, i would like to apologize to those who were particularly insulted, disgusted or made uncomfortable by the original post. this hadn’t been my intention at all. in fact, that had been far from it. and i know my apologies will fall to deaf ears, but i truly cannot apologize enough. you are in every right with your reactions, and i’m truly ashamed of what i had thought was okay at the time, drunk or not. and i truly thank with every centimeter of my body for those who called things as they were, and i admire you for standing up for what’s right.

i also want to apologize to those i’ve encouraged, or to those who found this behavior appropriate and okay. it’s arguably the exact opposite of such, and i recognize this fully. while one’s intoxication level does not justify their actions, i do want to mention that i had unsent the dms before any players could see them and as soon as i began to sober up, which had been last night about roughly a half hour / an hour after posting the screenshots. so if there’s anything i want everyone to take away is to just not send things like this in the first place. it’s gross. it’s predatorial. it’s wrong. and there’s no gag, even if you think there is at the time.

in terms of the grey area, i do understand it. i really do. i had actually recently reblogged this really well written post regarding why people write fanfictions involving real public figures, and how our own fantasies kind of play into our admiration of them. i don’t want to drag the OP of that into this, as it could all be loosely related in the grand scheme. however, i do see a clear parallel. perhaps the line isn’t as faded when it comes to interacting with the players directly, rather than the knights and superheroes we have decided to engrain our minds with. and i can’t imagine how i’d feel, let alone how they would had they’d opened them by the time i went back. i understand that the argument of “what are the chances they’d see them in the first place” isn’t valid nor an excuse for these accounts. and neither is stooping to the level that some of these players do when contacting girls over social media. we must all do better when it comes to recognizing and being upfront with this. i know i certainly do.

i saw quickly that this was all an ill-made joke, tho all messages were sent in good fun. in no way had i meant to insinuate anything poorly of the players. assuming josh would cheat on his significant other is not cool. hitting on kappy’s girlfriend is also not cool. and i hadn’t made that post intending to look cool, but instead to show others that “i hate drunk me and you should too” rather than “i’m funny right pls give me clout”. being a creep is not cool.

what i also don’t find cool, however, is bullying an individual for a mistake that they are actively and publicly taking action towards. as the OP, i must take responsibility for all of the attention that has been granted. however, sending them messages or tagging someone with hateful speech, namecalling and direct attacks to the point where race and sexuality are involved might just be as hypocritical. as a woc and one who is still exploring her sexuality, i am deeply ashamed of my many drunk and sober actions over my lifetime. so if i had to be the one who received these messages and a drop in followers, that’s okay. but instead of pushing someone away from a site that should be encouraging others to help and learn from each other, i hope in the future more conversations can be held regarding the evident toxic atmosphere in the hockey/sports community. which is why i attempted to send direct private messages to all those who publicly voiced their revolt in the post, and i’m still working towards reach out and talk to everyone. i’ve been told that some of you had taken this to twitter, but i’m not on that platform so if there is anyway i can get in contact with anyone out there, please let me know.

once again, i apologize if i am overstepping any boundaries in doing so or bothering anyone, but i find it important to provide healthy, respectful platforms where we can talk more about these overlooked issues. and hopefully we can all work to becoming the positive, supportive and inclusive community we all hope to be.

thank you again to everyone who took the time to read this, and i apologize once again to infinity. i’m forever in debt to all of the incredible people i’ve met on here.

as mentioned before, i’ll still be around responding to private messages and asks, but i will be taking some time away from posting. i’ll work on requests as much as i can, and will keep them open for the time being. although i’m not sure how much longer i’ll be writing on tumblr either.

Homestuck candy epilogue: My opinion

Okay i need to say this first: i haven’t read the meat one, this are my opinions on candy without looking at the other one.

This...was an experience certainly, i read non stop until i finished it, but half on it i realized: i didn’t like it. But, at the same time there were things i did like. -First, i like the fact that they wanted John to choose and so to us to choose and see the two timelines, i choosed candy first cause i wanted to se the consequences of staying and at the beggining i was happy about it, i liked that roxy was happy about John staying and that, but then...Gamzee.

-I don’t know ,even if it was planned by Hussie but i really HATED how this was done, i can understand the whole thing of ‘’oh he need a chance’’ he had many dude, he had many and every time he did things worst, but suddenly he’s sorry? My it would be better if they went with my now old old theory of Gamzee being crazy because of the effects of the weird green liquid he dranks at the beggining, the one everyone said it was toxic? when i read about it at the time, i assumed he went nuts cause that thing fried his brain and even tho is a bit dumb, that for me would be more normal than ‘’oh i’m sorry just cause i was in the fridge’’ at least John knew how messed up the situation was. -I have no complains about Kanaya and Rose i think they stayed in character and they were probably the best ones here.

-I had a bad feeling about this weird sht of JadexKarkatxDave, more like JadexDave and let’s ruin karkat. Okay but seriously, DaveKat is one of my favorite shipps since i saw them at the end of homestuck but they got so ruined in here, not just because Jade was so intrusive (and out of character when she did that) but cause Karkat was still being mean to Dave, and okay listen i know i know...that’s his personality but, they were together for years and nothing changed? He was nice with Terezi back then he showed signs of caring and love at his way and i can understand his behavior cause he was young but...he’s almost an adult then, he knows about Dave’s childhood , then why he doesn’t support him or is more loving ? Like, if they’re together for so long it’s normal to support each other, or at least, talk normaly and calmly, but he shouts everytime Dave teases him a little, which makes the couple look toxic and i would understand if they got appart cause of that but at the end of the story they miss each other like?? if they liked each other so much why writte them like that, this plot of Jade karkat and Dave was managed so bad... They even showed that almost kiss after Dirks death which means, karkat cared karkat supported , but just that one time? why nothing happen? nothing was explained, the next thing we knew was they were fighting BECAUSE OF JADE, no of them but Jade, Dave wasn’t brave enough to tell her to go away of give them sometime or just talk??? idk i’m not gonna say more cause i can talk about this for hours but yeah, i’m really angry how bad they did this. -Oh yeah , Jane x Jake is the worst shit ever, seriously, i can understand the shipp, but not only was the worst way i’ve seen a couple start but the worst abusive relationship, Jade had plans and when she saw all of it crush inmediatly went ‘’oh yeah i liked jake didn’t i? let’s go’’ , like ...????. Jake is weak i understand but, he doesn’t have any respect for himself or what??? And no one told him to the damn face how bad was the thing? like , everyone knew about how bad things were but no one did anything except john...kinda. And he just accepted this relationship cause he still felt something towars Jane but....dude at least think a bit about it, how do you know that’s still love or pitty. And seeing how much i hate Gamzee words cannot express how furious i was about that Gamzee x Jane x Jake, at a certain point i didn’t even read anymore the dialogue of Gamzee with Jane, i just felt sick, specially seeing that she was with Gamzee like a kissmesis but put Jake in a corner all the time except when her father died. At least i’m glad Jake finally noticed and left with his son.

-Calliope went missing like half of the story and suddenly returned and we didn’t know nearly anything besides ‘’she was with roxy’’.

-Roxy x John was too rushed tbh , if i think of this as a fanfic i can understand it tho. -Godamnit Dirk with your stupid villain stuff, i don’t like it nor understand this, the only way i could understand his motives were ‘’I’m bored and if there’s nothing interesting to do let’s just die’’ but the fact of the robot in his room tells me he had it planned waay before so...what? Why? They didn’t explained much in candy so idk, maybe his motives are actually well explained (or not) -Even tho DaveKat was managed poorly i think Dave was one of the few ones that stayed in character, he didn’t suddenly chanded he matured and that was fine, except for the ending , i will talk about that in the end. -I really hate Gamzee here goddammit. -Kanaya and Rose naming her daughter Vriska is really disturbing, but at least john acknowledges this. -Did they just confirmed that Jade has a d- ck? Why tho? I don’t think it was needed (i don’t know if i understood that one good but i think that is the thing (Candy 18)) -This may be a unpopular opinion but i don’t care about the sons enough to read a whole page of them talking? And i don’t like them either, they bully Tavros a lot, in fact Tavros is like my favorite but he doesn’t talk much? He has this scene of John trying to get him out cause he’s scared of gamzee trying to touch him BUT NO ONE DOES NOTHING BESIDES JOHN? and this gots forgotten, what happen? What Tavros thinks? Why he talks so little? I was genuinly worried about this kid but he didn’t have enough time. The sons are more like plot devices, they just talk and in the middle of it they explaing what’s happening, so i didn’t care that much, too bad :/ -I’m glad John called Jade about her horrible behaviour, even tho she does nearly nothing about it, she doesn’t have a part where she thinks if the things she did were wrong or not, i wish we had that, but no. -I’m happy about Karkat being the leader of the rebels but i think the war it’s just stupid...makes me remember that movie about flash and time traveling to save her mother resulting in a world war of aquaman with wonderwoman just cause he kinda cheated on her or something like that, i feel the reason of the war in here just as stupid, glad to see everyone thinks the same.in the story. (Even so, karkat is so cool being the leader, sorry, i had to) -The thing about Terezi Dying genuinly make me tear a little :c -Why didn’t John said to Dave that Karkat was in the party? Like...what matters? he’s married at that moment, just knowing is not gonna change a thing, after all they’re in war. -WHY THE HELL gamzee ducks so many people???? Why????? Damn even vriska!! At least she killed him , i was so happy about that. -The talk John has with Roxy was so good gosh, it was one of the best things there, she nailed it and make me emotional for a while, i wish i can explain more why i like it so much but that can be in another post. -Okay finally What the hell happen at the end? I mean, to me is a bit obvious this was a trick made by Dirk, this was to much of a coincidente, but not just that, Dave character broke entirley here for me. When he starts to talk about Karkat i was really crying , mostly because of how much Dave was suffering for this, he almos never ever cries, but he was tearing his eyes out in here, he let everything he was suppresing go and he just said ‘’ I miss him’’ and ‘’I love jade’’ , he still can do so much and he still has things to do, but when they offered the robot, he doesn’t think at all and just goes?? Why????? Like i get it the thing about Obama and that but...hes an adult, he’s smart he didn’t think more than that? He has a wife , he obviously wants to talk to karkat more but he trows all that to the trash and says ‘’yeah let’s go’’???? If you tell me this happens cause Dirk is doing stuff to the narrative...that’s not good, not at all, this whole thing about him controlling the narration is messed up and it feels so OP, it feels so stupid like Vriska being the ‘’true hero we all needed’’ just cause Hussie liked her so much to make her almost the damn main character in the ending. Trowing Dave dreams like that, not even letting him to question everything, if the last part was manipulated to make him choose the ultimate self, then means Dirk needs a restriction in his power before that, or else, the plot itself doesn’t make any fucking sense, because he would just choose everything for everyone and that’s just stupid, it just makes the whole story a literal fanfiction made by him, which is honestly really dissapointing. But anyway, those are all my thoughs about the candy one, it’s just my opinion about it.

Some Jonsa fans care about Jon, sure. But not the ones who call him a traitor for betraying the north, or think Sansa should overthrow him and become QitN, or, say that the show has “butchered”his character for allying with the (admittedly annoying/entitled) person with DRAGONS. Some Dany fans are just as bad, but don’t tell me you won’t cancel Jon the minute your S8 hopes don’t pan out.

Hey mate I’ll admit I stared at this message, pondered on how I’d tackle answering this seriously, went on Twitter, scrolled through my entire Tumblr dash, went downstairs and got myself ice-cream, sat back up and finished my bowl of ice-cream, and then took another look at this message and I’m still having trouble understanding why I feel the need to reply to this. Life would be that much sweeter if I could ignore some things but…

it’s gonna bother me if I don’t.

**before we proceed let me just make a disclaimer that none of the points I put forward are exclusive to Jonsa - whether you ship jon x sansa or stan them both separately without hoping they get together, most of my points still stand.**

I’m with you for the most part, for admitting that some Jonsa fans do care about Jon because a few of us are more Jon stans than we are Sansa stans. Past that, I think you need to understand that OP was exaggerating the Jon hate coming from a small corner of our fandom, because like the others have explained in this thread, the majority of us are upset at the turn of events and more so at Daenerys than we are at Jon. Like @lostlittlesatellites mentioned, it’s the difference between having an actual choice, and being coerced and pushed into a corner.

Before I dive deeper into illustrating why different sets of people have different reasons for the way they’ve reacted to Jon bending the knee, you need to understand that there are a fraction of us who:

Stan Sansa more than Jon, or was a Sansa stan before a Jon stan, and are understandably upset at Jon giving away the North without first discussing it with Sansa.

Stan Jon more than Sansa, or was a Jon stan first, and are understandably upset at how him giving up the North was framed because yes, it did assassinate some things he stood for.

Those of us who stan either one more, or equally, and understand both stances taken from the two fractions above, i.e. people who understand that other people in the fandom’s feelings are valid.

The first group.

Let me try to best explain to you why the first group of people are upset: because we all were made to believe Jon was different, because he’s supposed to be different. Different from all the other guys in Dany’s arc that have fallen for her, different from Jorah, Daario, Tyrion, different. When people throw out words like “betrayal” and that Sansa should just take over, it’s because of how the narrative was built up and framed to us:

Jon gets proclaimed King in the North(despite not having a birthright, to which none of us were complaining because Sansa’s birthright as Lady of Winterfell was still respected).

Sansa is happy for him, tells him he’s a good ruler, tries to get him to consider her counsel as well because she doesn’t want him to make the same mistakes Robb and Ned did, and then defends his position in front of the Northern Lords who have made it clear they would rather have Sansa leading them at this point - this is where the “Sansa should just be QiTN” discourse comes in but for the most part, it’s wishful thinking and banter.

Sansa warns him of making the same mistakes ROBB did, and then warns him of Cersei and how much her word is worth. What does Jon do? Or rather, how does the show frame Jon giving up his kingdom? By doing so because he’s infatuated with Daenerys(I would argue and hope that this is not the case but the show sure made it seem like it was considering he pledged himself after she agreed to help). Then he blurts out that he’s pledged to Daenerys in the dragonpit scene, in front of Cersei - and the audience is made to believe that Jon and the dragon team believe Cersei’s word on her truce even after that whole fiasco.

Worse yet, people are pissed because he gave up The North without first heeding counsel or even checking in with Sansa. Jon and Sansa went from having strong communication - yes, they argue but they work through it by communicating - to Sansa not hearing anything from Jon for weeks and then suddenly receiving word that he’s bent the knee - where does that put Sansa?

People who stan Sansa of course feel betrayed because he left the North in her hands, only to go to Dragonstone and give it up without so much as an explanation to her. Does that not feel like betrayal? (I know at this point you’re sitting there wondering, well he had to!!! I’ll address that in a moment)

Moreover, it’s not hostility coming from a place of people thinking Sansa should be Queen, it’s hostility coming from people who understand the importance of Winterfell to Sansa - she fought for it as much as Jon did, she made him get back up and fight for it. It’s their home, her home. You would think a decision as large as getting yourself subjugated once more by Targaryen rulers would at least be discussed but Jon, as king, didn’t bother. They fought for it together, a place that Sansa has spent the entirety of her arc post Ned’s execution wishing to go back to, and he gave it away. That’s the betrayal, it’s a betrayal of trust. One second he’s entrusting it in her hands, the next he’s snatching it and “gifting” it to Daenerys as if it were a consolation prize for losing a dragon.

So if Jon wasn’t the guy we thought him to be, i.e. he’s just another guy that will fall to his knees at the sight of Daenerys and fight for her because he’s infatuated by her, then yes, a lot of us would gladly give up our “Jon snow stan” cards. This group of people, upon the prospect of Jon revealing himself to be just like any other character, is of the opinion that Sansa deserves better.

The second group.

Now onto the second group, the majority of us who are upset but haven’t gone full on “Jon can choke”(which tbh is a valid thing to feel considering how he did Sansa dirty due to a lack of communication and how the narrative has been framed). This tackles the “butchering” of Jon’s character, or as we call it “character assassination”. From experience, this comes mainly from people who value Jon and understand him, the people who have supported him since season 1/book 1 or who have come to appreciate his character for what he is along the way. So if they stan Jon, why are they upset too? Because his actions were OOC.

Yes, Jon would do anything to secure safety for the realm, and he did that - but how he went about doing it is what made so many of us displeased with what the show has turned him into. He went from King in the North to Daenerys’ “pet northerner.” It’s the same way some Sansa stans are upset that the show would make her go to Petyr Baelish - the slimy abuser she already denounced - for advice on what to do with Arya, painting her as naive for the majority of the season.

But we don’t hate Jon, we’re upset because of how it went down. Most of us don’t blame Jon because whatever OOC things he did “how about mY qUeEn u deServe it even though u coulda just flown in and avoided more deaths to begin with haha here’s the north” could be explained as him trying his best to ensure he’s secured her aid – because how much is her word worth when she went from “I don’t(regret it). I had to see.” to “My dragon died so that we could be here. If it’s all for nothing, then he died for nothing.”

No, we’re more disgusted with Daenerys. Mind you, not all Jonsas hate Dany, and not all anti-daenerys people ship Jonsa. We’re disgusted, because this far into the series, after years and years of people hailing Daenerys as some heroine saviour - we didn’t get that. No, what we got was her insistence of a truce with Cersei, and her insistence on Jon bending the knee. Why couldn’t she just ally herself with the North, why must she have it all? She allowed the Iron islands their independence, why not the North? What sort of heroine asks for something in return for saving lives?

Jon bending the knee was never necessary as how pro-dany stans try to make it seem, Torrhen Stark bent the knee to save his people from dragonfire, Jon bent the knee because he has to, not because he wants to. Neither of the two would have had to give up their kingdoms if the Targaryen hadn’t insisted on it in the first place. Then they pull up “isn’t their survival worth more than your pride?” as if it wasn’t the most ironic line coming from Daenerys “I’ll fight for you… when you bend the knee,” Targaryen because it was never necessary. Jonerys stans expect us to believe they take them as two equals in a relationship when Jon never met Daenerys as an equal. Since the very beginning, he’s respected her title and referred to her as Your Grace despite herself being a self-proclaimed Queen, and what did she do? Strip him of his boat, weapons, and title. Daenerys is the super power with not one, but three weapons that could easily stop the threat coming for her people as well, and yet she is adamant about making the North - a new independent and developing kingdom by right - give up their independence. Why? Why?

Why am I mentioning Daenerys? Because she plays a central role in coercing Jon into bending the knee. If she proved herself to be worthy of the throne then perhaps no one would be upset but the thing is, she stands for everything Jon doesn’t and yet he willingly gave up his kingdom to her and we’re expected to believe he genuinely thinks she’s fit to rule as opposed to doing to because he had no other choice? That’s not my Jon Snow, that’s not the one I grew to love.

The third group.

The third group clings to the hope that Jon hasn’t completely done a 180 and is instead doing what he has to do to ensure the survival of his people, and acknowledges that it was good of him to bend the knee though we still hate how it happened, and understand the backlash coming from people who support and love Sansa as well. That’s me included.

BY THE WAY:

don’t tell me you won’t cancel Jon the minute your S8 hopes don’t pan out.

ummm ok? We have a right to stan Jon and unstan him just as many of us started out rooting for Dany only to realise she’s not at all who we first thought she was. The Jon Snow I know could care less about who sits on the Iron Throne, because he’s more concerned about the threat to the North. The Jon Snow I know, put duty over love, no matter how hard it was. The Jon Snow I know, didn’t falter, except for when he thought it involved his family i.e. going off for fake!arya which consequently got him stabbed. The Jon Snow I know wouldn’t give up his kingdom, his home, his family’s home, unless he knew it was the only way to secure aid and protect them because Jon Snow loves his family more than anything. So if season 8 happens and it turns out Jon Snow really genuinely only bent the knee because he’s in love with Daenerys and doesn’t mind giving up his kingdom to get subjugated despite knowing full well the history behind his people’s trauma, because he’s just that in love with her, then yes, plenty of us would cancel Jon Snow because that’s not who he is.

I’ll also argue that it’s rich to see people from the Jonerys corner or any corner really, claim Jonsa’s don’t care about Jon’s wants when his wants have always surrounded having a place at Winterfell and being accepted as a Stark. If anything, him gladly giving up the North and its people to a Targaryen is going to drive a further wedge between that, and going off into the sunset to marry Daenerys and sit on the iron throne with their incest baby i.e. taking him away from the North to sit in Kingslanding, a place he’s made clear he doesn’t want to live in, sounds more like disregarding his wants than what we’ve proposed.

The split attraction model was invented in the last 5 years to imply that “sexual orientation” and “romantic orientations are two separate things. They are not. Sexual orientation BY DEFINITION is about non-platonic feelings in general which includes both romantic and sexual feelings. You can define non-platonic however you wish. It can be just sexual for you, just romantic, or, for most pole, it is a confusing blending of the two with a sprinkling of je ne sais quoi. Neurodivergent people especially struggle to separate the two and forcing them to define their sexual vs romantic feelings can be harmful. Especially for minors who don’t have the emotional maturity to parse between the two. They shouldn’t have to. They shouldn’t have to scrape parts of themselves out to plop into boxes so they can be taxonomized for shitty MOGAI politics.

The SAM is harmful, especially when it is normalized and applied to non-ace/aro people. There are over ONE THOUSAND stories about how the SAM and MOGAI attitudes let trans/LGBP people bury their internalized homophobia and dysphoria in labels like “homoromantic asexual” and shit like that. Here are the stories. It’s biphobic because there are are “orientations” like heterosexual homoromantic which is LITERALLY bisexual. Bisexuals can have preferences and experience sexual attraction to different genders differently!! All this does is erase nonbinary people.

Similarly, if the SAM is used regularly (which is what hte ace community is wanted), this is dangerous to survivors who often have complex feelings baout sexual romantic attraction. A cishet woman who was sexually assaulted by men might choose to identity as a lesbian later on, dating women. It is NO ONE’S business to ask her if she’s still sexually/romantically attracted to men. It’s no one business if she’s ~ACTUALLY a bisexual homoromantic. She’s a lesbian. That’s it. Because sexual orientations are about personal identity, who you want to be with, as well as attraction.

I can go ON and ON about what’s wrong with the SAM but here’s a few posts you should read. Here. Here. But like another basic point is--it relies on the term “homosexual” which is really fucking offensive.

You know what isn’t offensive? The term “SGA.” SGA is derived from the VERY common phrase “same gender attraction” which stems from the EVEN MORE COMMON phrase “attracted to the same gender.” Yes, “same sex attraction” has been used in conversion therapy. As has gay, lesbian, qu**r, insert slur, insert slur, insert slur here. That doesn’t mean it was derived from it. It has closer roots to the AAVE phrase “Same Gender Loving” but non-black people are being respectful by NOT using a term not made for them. SGA is more appropriate. Thanks.

Also, fuck you for saying NB people can’t be SGA. I’m a sapphic agender person, thanks. SGA doesn’t have to include all nonbinary people, just like lesbian and gay don’t have to include all of them. It’s still relevant to the point that LGBP people formed a bond over our SGA and the homophobia we suffered over it. Which transfered to a bond with trans folk because SGA and transness were seen as the same thing, historically. (Please look up “sexual inversion” if you do not believe me.)

Like, Katkee absolutely said I’m not actually bisexual. When she said cishet aces aren’t heterosexual, she is saying I am not bisexual. Because sometimes I’m completely ace. And I spent years without sexual attraction because I was so fucking depressed feelings like that were beyond my reach. Bisexuals are bisexual not because of who they want to fuck, which is a biphobic stereotype, but because of who we like and want to be with. GEnerally. Maybe that is sexual, maybe it’s not. It’s no one fucking business. Same for heterosexuals.

Like, no offense, but your comparison saying aromantic people can’t be bisexual is dumb as fuck. For the 18th time, sexual orientation is about sexual AND/OR romantic attraction. I’ll give you another comparison. A face generally is comprised of two eyes, a mouth, and a nose. Say someone is missing an eye, right? Maybe they’re born with just one eye, maybe they lost it. Whatever. Does tht mean that face isn’t a face because it’s missing one eye? No. It’s still a face. Just like you take the sexual attraction out of an orientation, it’s still an orientation. BUT if someone held an eyeball in front of you and said “this is a face,” you’d say “no dipshit, that’s just an eye.” Similarly, saying your reaction to JUST sexual attraction is a sexual orientation is ridiculous. No dipshit, that’s jus tsexual attraction.

“Aromantic” doesn’t mean “not attracted to any gender” it is is a way to describe your ROMANTIC attraction to people. It modifies your sexual orientation. “I am attracted to multiple genders but not romantically.” You are an aromantic bisexual. Because bisexuals are bisexuals no matter how they experience non-platonic attraction to multiple genders.

And, like, fuck your transphobia? Trans straight people can’t have straight privilege because people misgender them and see their m/f relationships as same gender relationships. They do not benefit from the systemic oppression of LGBP people because most laws/lack of protections for LGBP people hut them too. If a trans woman has not legally transitioned and is not recognized by the state as a woman, her marriage to her male partner is considered a same gender partnership and is not legal in most the world. She can still be the victim of homophobic hate crimes by people who still misgender her.

That is not true for cishet aces. Cishet aces can date, have sex, and marry whomever they like. Because a lot of cishet aces DO STILL HAVE SEX and have fetishes and libidos and kinks and whatever the fuck. How is that not “heteronormative?” And y’unno what? Who the fuck DOES perform straightness properly and gets rewarded for it? Cishet non-ace women are punished for too much sex, not enough sex, weird sex, prudish sex, or just prioritizing a career over sex and procreation. Gay was an umbrella term for ALL LGBT people people for a long time for a fucking reason.

And like... again, straight trans peopel cannot and do not oppress LGBP folk because they do not benefit from homophobic oppression. So maybe study up on that before you unleash your shitty opinions on me, okay?

BTW, most cishets don’t investigate whether you are romantically attracted to the person you’re banging or if you’re banging the person you’re dating. Like... they don’t care. Unless it’s their own relationship.

1. How many characters do you have? 22 on Ebon Hawk and something like 50 across all servers. I acknowledge that I have a problem, yes.

2. What is your favorite class and why? And/or list the player classes in order of most -> least favorite.

1. Sith Warrior favorite, hands down, 25/8/367. This one does it for me in all the ways and not just Because Quinn but ngl, that’s a big reason. Most interesting romance, however you choose to play it. And the end scene of the class story is just the best. Also my favorite play style, both adv. classes are love.

I like all the classes, storywise, tbh.The rest, sort of in order:

2. Imperial Agent – I love spy shit, Vector and all the different ways to play the story. Love the play style, too.

3. Inquisitor/Jedi Knight – tied. Inquisitor is, I must say, the most unique story, the most likely to make a great movie or novelization. Also love to play. Though I still lovingly remember being a Sorc when everyone hated on us for being OP. Jedi Knight is a bit like SW just clunkier, playwise, but give me two lightsabers and the ability to jump on shit and I am happy as a clam.

4. Smuggler – A fun story, I think I might have finally made a toon I feel could actually be in a romance with Corso. But I have yet to find a spec/play style I don’t loathe. It’s just me, I know.

5. Bounty Hunter – Good story, good romance, good playstyle altho I’m just now playing a Merc for first time.

6. Trooper – I don’t hate the story, actually, although it’s a bit repetitive and times when I want to scream at BioWare for getting military life, even in the GFFA, so wrong when it would have been easy to get it right. I love military stories so I really wish this one would have been perfect. Assault cannon attacks are so out of control, tho.

7. Consular – Story is all over the place, feels like outtakes from the Jedi Knight as KOTOR3 story. But I adore my rock-throwing Barsen’thor and hope to some day raid Pubside with her. One day I hope to rewrite the consular story.

3. Do you prefer to tank, DPS, or heal? DPS is my favorite. I just love to stomp around with my lightsabers. It makes me feel fearless. I also enjoy healing, though I’ve only done it full time on my Operative. I have only tanked a few times on heroics back in the H4 days; I really am not confident enough to pug an op. Maybe someday I’ll sign up with my guild’s ops training runs on a tank.

6. Do you primarily play Republic, Empire, or a mix of both sides? Is there a specific reason for this preference? Mostly Imp side. It just feels more exciting, more focused. A guildie who was in beta speculated that Pubside was designed first (makes sense given the origin of the game) but by the time they got to the Impside, they said FUCK IT LET’S NOT MAKE IT SO LONG AND DIFFICULT FOR NO REASON and it was better. I mean Pubside Corellia planetary questline is brutal. The Pubside heroics on Balmorra are a hot gooey mess, esp the collicoid ones. I could do the Impside ones in my sleep, tho.

9. How about your least favorite companions? [just my opinions, I do not ship shame or piss on other ppl’s faves, so YMMV is my rule.] Aside from Skadge, I don’t dislike any of them vehemently. There are a few WTFs and just “personalities my toon and/or I can’t get along with” though.

Doc is Doc and not the kind of man I ever want to have in my life on purpose. The fact that he looks way too much like my ex-husband does not help, lol.

Ashara never meshed with my All Dark Side Sorc, but I have an all light side assassin – she’s level 61 and just started Alderaan, so maybe someday she’ll make it to Taris and we’ll see. Her story is great, don’t get me wrong. The real pebble in the boot with Ashara is what she says during gameplay. “I won’t give up my Jedi teachings” or whatever, six times in a row when you are a most Extra Sith is hella annoying.

I’ve said many times Pierce disappoints in a number of ways; he never meshed with Xhareen but she respects him as a colleague, just not as a friend.

I love Risha’s story, but not I’m keen on her personality. Thing is, I wouldn’t change it. She’s well done.

There are a few who just are there, like furniture, like Tharan Cedrax (altho his personal story gets better); Tanno only works for a DS soldier, or if you go bad later on – not that that wouldn’t be interesting!; Rusk is just boring and could have been better written and Forex’s jingoism is just OUT THERE TONE IT DOWN BRAH.
