Aww hiii!! <3 Not gonna lie, it's not something I ever really thought about so I had to look all the songs up and listen to them again LMAO. Funny enough, I'm not super into the music style of anime themes because my ears grew up being trained on American pop music, and the melodies/general flow of a lot of anime soundtracks don't quite match the ones I like/I'm used to hearing. When I watch an anime, I'll listen any new opening/ending song once and if I don't like it, I just skip over it whenever it comes on (happens more often than not) 🙂‍↔️

It's quite rare that I enjoy >80% of an anime theme and I'm actually really picky about the ones I save into my library. Thus, I don't have that many (my weeb playlist is only 2 hours long! I know a lot of people who have at least 10 hours of anime shit in their playlists lol). A lot of the songs in my playlist are actually not openings or endings, but random soundtracks within the shows (e.g. character themes like in Demon Slayer, or MHA has a lot of random repeated songs for different kinds of scenes. And how could I forget AOT [Hiroyuki Sawano the goat]). Yeah so no OP/EDs in my library normally (for MHA at least), BUT sometimes I'll add some of the instrumentals of the songs, (i.e. no voices) because I felt like the singing ruined a good composition lmao jjk S2 OP 1 and S2 ED 2 idk I think I'm in the minority when I say that for music, sound is more important to me than lyrics

Anyway sorry for the backstory that you entirely did not ask for. Without further ado, my top picks (musically, because I will watch some openings/endings solely for the vibes, not because I like the song lmao):

OPENINGS

Merry-Go-Round (S5 OP 2): the only opening I have saved in my library. I mostly try to ignore the cringe English but I enjoy this song the most out of all the other ones (I have a few other Man With A Mission songs as well)! The part in the actual theme in the show where All Might's bright aura fades into Endeavor's dark one is such a chilling contrast ugh.,.,,. I ate that shit up

Star Marker (S4 OP 2): I didn't save this one but it's so happy I love!! And the focus on my fav girl Jiro <3 you can't listen to this song and not be in a good mood tbh

Polaris (S4 OP 1): not saved, but I would actually watch through this theme sometimes (not skip!) when watching S4. I like most of it except the end though oops

Odd Future (S3 OP 1): also not saved, but I don't dislike it and I could see myself listening to it without actively wanting the song to be over lmao. somehow the autotune works

Curtain Call (S7 OP 2): the most recent one. not good enough to be saved in my library but I don't hate it like I hated most of S6's and the first part of S7's OP/EDs lmao

ENDINGS

Dakara, Hitori ja Nai (S2 ED 1): I think the translation of this is something like "you're not alone" or something, which 🥺. Anyway, the most sonically pleasing song in the entire MHA production okay I don't make the rules. The harmonies are beautiful!! And the fact that this ending was focused on the girlie pops I was like yes yes yessss queens all around slayyyy

Rokutousei (S7 ED 2): translation - "6" something..,., the most recent one!! I was so surprised when I first listened, I was suspicious of how much I was liking it and I was low key waiting for a part of the song where the melody doesn't go the way I expect and I end up hating it (S5 ED 2) but it never happened. I never skip this one when watching the show. It's a beautiful song in the way that it's like slightly melancholic but also hopeful at the same time? Even without understanding the lyrics those are the vibes I get when I listen (and see the visuals, maybe that's where I'm getting this from lmao). It honestly puts me on the verge of tears sometimes. Especially the ending where they showed Shoto/Toya!! instead of the normal Deku/Shigaraki. Anyway I have the full song saved in my library and it was even on repeat a couple weeks ago! Ochaco on the album cover is so cute

Shout Baby (S4 ED 2): also super happy and catchy and bright. And everyone's bb pics!! 🥺 I would almost never skip this theme.

Uso ja Nai (S5 ED 2): translation - "not a lie"? honorable mention cause I enjoyed the first 30ish secs of the song with the piano before it falls off (basically just the first verse) and I love bb hawks

Sketch (S6 ED 1): again, also not saved, but I don't dislike it and I could see myself listening to it without actively wanting the song to be over lmao

Somewhat unrelated but in doing some of my research for this ask, I found out that Sayuri, the singer who did the ending of S4 (the one that was focused on Eri), passed away last month at 28 years old :( rip. Her song was the only one from S4 that didn't make it on this list cause I didn't love it, but she was so young. at least her legacy lives on through her music.

nope! i mainly prefer playing around with canon/canon-adjacent stuff tbh, i've got a couple of unfinished aus hanging around that will probably never see the light of day, but no crossovers that i can think of

not as far as i'm aware. though to be fair, i don't venture onto fic websites other than ao3 so i'll never know for certain. i doubt it though

again, not as far as i know! i'd probably be chill with it though if anyone wanted to translate a fic of mine, provided they asked beforehand and it was one i was comfortable with being translated :)

nope! the closest i've got is participating in an event run by a discord server i used to be mildly active in and am technically still part of, which was a lot of fun :D

i don't know if i really have an "all-time" favourite as such, but i've written a fair bit for liv and helen from the 8das, and really love their dynamic. i'm also a big fan of leela/romana, but for whatever reason i've never been quite able to make writing them work :/

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably won’t?

there's a fair few 😅 the main one I can think of atm is the eldritch helen fic i vaguely remember being asked about on here a couple of years back, it's a concept that i still have a lot of interest in and love for, but i've never quite been able to get the fic itself to work and i fear it may be doomed to the wip pit for eternity :((

i've also got quite a few unfinished pieces of varying lengths with the war-veklin-albert tardis team from "the war doctor begins" hanging around my drive that i'd a) love to finish and b) probably won't; their dynamic and their whole deal as a team whose story takes place mostly off-screen and which we only see the ending of fascinates me. maybe one day i'll manage to do something with it

description :) this is the one thing i am ever consistently happy with in my writing (i am my own harshest critic <3), and i've got a couple of nice comments about it before. so!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

dialogue - even with characters i know well and whose voices i have clear in my head, i do find it difficult to make dialogue feel really authentic, and it's definitely something i tend to overly fixate on when i'm writing because i'm so conscious of wanting to get it right

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

i'm totally fine with it! as long as it has a reason for being in the story, and isn't like. getting in the way of readers understanding what's going on, i don't see the problem.

it's probably a tie between The Security Guard, The Scholar, And The Giant Stone Cube (a fic i wrote back in 2021 based on this post about rory and helen theoretically being able to meet each other at the national museum during the pandorica arc, which i loved writing and am still really happy with nearly 3 years later), and mae cuddio dagrau yn fy ngwaed (a bit of a weirder/darker dreamscape-type story; it took a lot of puzzling things out to piece all the different parts together to make something that was cohesive but still felt strange or off in the way dreams do, but i was really pleased with the end result!)

Daniel comes off as totally irresistible in your MobAU. I bet Terry was all “That little Italian Omega means nothing to me, I can get over this.” And then he fails to, spectacularly. Oops. Anyway, just how desperate was Terry to have his wedding night, lol? 

Desperate enough! In fact:

“You're being honeytrapped, you know that.” John crosses his arms, face set in a signature scowl.

He looks at him. “Do you have anything new to say?”

“It bears repeating.” He lifts his chin. “Terry, they're stalling. Only people who do that are weak. Do you want them to regroup first?”

“We can take 'em, John, but can we hold them?”

“The feck you take me for? Of course!”

He smiles. “Johnny. I don't have time to play dictator. I, we, we need to expand, and if I have to waste my people babysitting some resentful Italians, that's not ever gonna work. There's the Russians, Chinese, Arabs and they're hungry.”

John sniffs. “We could take Russians, or Chinese or half of feckin England if we stick to our ground.”

“Sure, and then, when we're depleted, some damned cartel boss is going to swoop in. Let them do that to the other ones first.”

John leans on his hand fixes him. “If this is about the Prima Donna -”

“It's a boy, John.”

“It's a goat for all I care. It's trouble, you eejit. How often have you seen him, once?” He scoffs. “Jesus, Terry. They're throwing kitties at you as we speak.”

He sighs. “Trying to buy their way in, they don't offer anything.”

“Oh, and he does?”

Christ, that smell. The ripeness of him. Health, too. He'd not lacked for anything. But those eyes were quick. The fire in them. And those lips...

John shakes his head. “Jesus, it's like fucking Troy.” He stands up. “You're getting killed tonight, you eejit, so I'm putting everyone on high alert. Again.”

Terry grins. “All I ask.”

“I will squeeze your Mandy for a payout, so,” John says. “That English bitch of hers can pay for the service.”

“I have no doubt,” Terry says. “You'll be King of the block, Johnny.”

But never more, and that is what he needs to find a way to prevent.

And this way is looking ever more appealing.

Sweet Mother of God, is he gorgeous.

And even more pissed off than last time.

“It's good to see you” gets him an: “Is it? Why?”

He touches his arm. “Come now, don't fish for compliments.” He leans over, whispers in his ear: “You know you're beautiful.”

The boy freezes for half a second. “And that's the most important thing?”

“It's all I know as yet.” He straightens up. “I was hoping we could change that.”

He blushes, look away, seemingly not a day older than fourteen. “And what if I don't want that?”

“Then you might miss out on some fun.” He winks at him. “C'mon. What do you have to lose?”

In fact, nobody can stay snippy on the subject of fun for very long, Terry knows that from experience, and soon enough they're knee deep into a discussion of Pop vs Swing. The boy is really into guitar, keeps talking about some fella called Reinhardt. It's refreshing, after all the Benny Goodman talk. But then he leans over, whispers in a conspiratorial tone: “But who I really like is Robert Johnson.”

Terry nearly spits out his wine. “Johnson?” he says, trying not to laugh. “Sweetheart. What do you have to be blue about?”

The hurt that flashes over his face makes Terry wants to kick himself. “I don't know,” the boy says, pulling back. “People not taking you seriously?”

“Daniele,” his mother interjects suddenly. “All this music talk – why don't you play us something?”

He frowns. “Ah, no, Ma...”

“Yes,” the Don says. “What a good idea. Daniele, get your instrument.”

There's a murmur of assent. And of course Terry wants to hear it, but he hates how the boy ducks together. “Why don't we all play something?” he says, looking at the rather grand piano in the adjacent room.

“My son is very good,” the Don says. “In fact, I'd say he sometimes even plays too much.”

Bastard. The utter bastard. Why put him on the spot like that? “Really, it'd be my pleasure,” Terry says, but the Don has fixed his son again. “Now, please, Daniele.”

Poor sweetheart, but there's little to be done. They all file into the other room as he slinks away to get a guitar.

But oh, baby knows his instrument. He can see the look of concentration that only comes from genuine enjoyment. Turn inside, Terry wants to whisper to him. Where it's you and the notes. Nothing else.

And when he seems poised to do just that:

“Mozart,” the Don says.

His head shoots up. “What?”

“It's all I've heard you play for days,” the Don says. “Mozart.”

“I'm not done with that one yet,” he says, turning pale. He looks to the room. “It's not written for guitar, I was transcribing it, please...”

The Don gives a thin smile. “Mozart.”

“Come on, Daniel!” that's the eldest. “We've all heard it!”

And now Terry can't help himself. “Do you mind?”

The boy seems to make a decision, by all accounts to get it the hell over with. He sits down, breathes in, and starts.

Oh, sweetheart. Sweetheart. It's Alla Turca, and those quick sixteenths are hard enough as it is on piano. (He should know, with old Dougal Andrews always urging him to play 'real music' until he finally relented and taught him this one, free of charge.) But those runs need supporting chords, and that's murderously difficult on solo guitar, so you're constantly stuck making compromises. It's not impossible, but it's hardly intuitive, and he sees the boy's brow furrow in pained concentration.

And then he stops.

Of course. Terry doesn't wait but walks over, opens the piano and continues the piece, hoping he's found the right key – by all accounts, he has – and nods at Daniel. The boy understands, plays the repetition as intended, but at least, with Terry on chords, he has his hands free to focus on the melody.

He sees him breathe out, relax.

Good boy.

He's even joking around with the tempi a little bit, little showoff, and draws out the end chord ridiculously long, until Terry sees the Don pull a face.

Serves him right.

“Thanks,” he mumbles and moves to put away his guitar, determinedly avoiding eye contact.

Well, he'll have to make him listen, then, won't he?

Terry puts his fingers back on the keys, can't help picturing what he'd like to do if those fingers were caressing someone's skin. And yet, he can't but well up a little; the last person he'd played this for was Mandy.

Oh, Danny Boy...

Not something often played in a room full of Italians, and he sees the uncle give him a hard look in the minute pause between phrases.

He plays all four verses, improvising as he goes. Then he closes the piano, looks back at the omega.

The boy gives him a half smile.

“I thought they played this at funerals?”

For one second, Terry's stunned.

This brat. Feckin Hell!

The Don nods at him. “Thank you, Daniele. Mr. Silver. Care to join me for a cigar?”

He looks back at the boy, who's had the decency to turn bright red.

Just you wait, little one.

Back in the Don's room, he smokes the cigar standing up. “I'm not going to spoil him.”

The Don's smile is thin lipped. “That's what I said to my wife.”

Terry grins. “I can't make out if he's brave or stupid at times.”

The Don lifts his chin. “He is very young.” He stands from behind the desk. “Do we have a deal?”

Terry straightens up as well. “I would never let him go,” he says. “Not for the whole world.”

“Don't worry,” the Don says. “I won't.” He nods. “I'll have my attorney send you the details. My wife Lucille will be in charge of the arrangements.” He walks past him, opens the door.

“Good night, son.”

oops...I think I just did it again

analyzing what I was doing and how things happened I have come to the conclusion about the ground of what I liked and enjoyed about him.

First of all, the main reason was curiosity. Yes, I know curiosity killed the cat but at least the cat died knowing. I am glad that I got to get a taste. I know its ending and I don't miss it. It is whatever right now. but I really like that I got to learn some new things and that I was able to have a little fun. I knew from the beginning that nothing serious was going to come out of it. the more I learned about him the more I intrigued I became. Now, I feel like I have learned everything about him. Honestly, there is not much else. He is basic, average, and everything about him is average and maybe I would argue below average.

I once heard that people that are beautiful don't need a good personality. they are beautiful and often are advantage of all the opportunities that life has to offer people that are conventionally attractive. Other people, the people that are not attractive, make a personality for themselves. I think for me, I was never the attractive type (not saying im shit ugly but I'm not a 10) anyways, I think I had to develop a personality. I learned about philosophy, English literature, music, language, and multitude of subjects that I can hold a conversation. (He liked this about me)

On a darker tone I think I hated that I misses out on alot when I was younger ( I don't regret anything and most of the things that were popular weren't my thing) but I sometimes wish I was the main character and since that can't be the thing I sort of asked him alot. turns out the things hes done aren't "cool" and they are not anything to be jealous about. I think I was a little bit mean to him because I hated that he got to be popular and I resent him for that. I can't change that so I will just move on.

Thoughts and Reaction to Gang of Secrets!

I'm very late today at writing this because life ;-; You know it's a bigger episode when they start off with a problem. Ladybug doesn't want to detransform so she's desperate to find reasons to remain Ladybug. I love how the entire time, Chat Noir knows something's wrong and wants to get her to talk about what it is, but she just tries to pretend she's fine. If anything, Chat Noir would probably be the best person to talk to considering everything he's dealt with too both with Kagami and his responsibility as Chat! She could mention that she was seeing someone but they broke up because of her secret, and she could tell him how much being the Guardian's having an affect on her. All perfectly well and good without exposing any identities or things like that with questions for details asked. Instead she puts up a front with him and pretends she's okay in front of him and it's just so sad. :/ I understand why she doesn't, probably because she doesn't want him to know how much she's struggling. But ugh my heart hurts for her. Chat: I know where we can go where we won't have to talk! Ladybug: Yes, take me there Chat! *in the theater* Ladybug: You lead me into a trap. I MEAN HE'S NOT WRONG THOUGH! Not many places you can go where it's okay or encouraged to not talk without there being an awkward silence. But that cracked me UP. Also that casual attempt to wrap his arm around her lolol still hasn't give up, I see. I also find it simultaneously hilarious and extremely depressing that Ladybug's ranting like that in the theater because of a romance movie. When your heart is broken, that's probably the last thing you want to be doing. But then we wouldn't have had what happens so it's all good c: Marinette saying she doesn't want to be friends with the girls anymore

This entire exchange right here. Alya's glance at her in the first picture is piercing, like I can feel that OOF feeling in my chest when I see it. The new music dramatizes it so well that a lot of people probably didn't pay attention to it the first time around. Can we just appreciate how these animators got all these emotions so right and did such a good job animating everything for us? And those that work on the music too? Everything's so spot on. Marinette's red-rimmed eyes is so well done. "No, it can't end like this!" Awww Alix getting super upset too x3 I honestly think Alix could be the next one.... you know what I mean BUT I'll wait until the end to talk about it. Trixx pulling a Plagg and rescuing Marinette! x3 I seriously love Trixx, I really do. I know the other Kwami's got mad, but if he hadn't done that it would've been disaster, probably. And the episode wouldn't have ended how it did! And Plagg knowing it was Trixx who caused the Eiffel Tower to be all weird xD Why do I get the feeling the relationship between Trixx and Plagg would be like that of Chat Noir and Rena Rouge? And I want to point out, we got 7 whole seconds of Adrien again! Aren't we lucky? The last time we got so little of Adrien in an episode was when we had his parallel episode Lies. I don't think that'll happen this time but I do hope it means more Adrien later on. Ladybug: They're after Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Chat Noir: Okay but remember everybody likes her (so don't go thinking she's a bad person for causing their akumatizations) Yes, I read between the lines. Ladybug being able to get through to Lady Wifi and have her deakumatize herself was absolutely amazing! I know Chloe was the first to fight off being akumatized but once you're akumatized it's obviously extremely hard to break. That says a lot about Alya. "Because you're an incredible friend, Ladybug." One, AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Two, did you notice the little jerk of her head, gesturing to Ladybug like that when she said it?? It's the little details guys that make this so good. 😍 "Chat Noir, nooooo!" Guys, we got our tiny little Marichat scene! It's not actually real, but still! (okay but why do I also get this really weird feeling like something like this may end up being real later?) Alya giving Ladybug that hug 😭 Marinette has such good, supportive friends. I love them all. x.x YES THANK YOU. Alya's finally realizing there are more things going on with her than just boys. One of the things that's always irked me since Chameleon is that any issue Marinette has, be it with Lila or otherwise, she always assumes it has to do with Adrien. Of course, at the time she didn't know she was Ladybug but she should've still listened and realized there's something else up. But now she finally is noticing and I love how she was going to respect her regardless and not push. Pushing has always been one of Alya's characteristics, but she knew whatever it was was something too big and serious to push her on. "Marinette, I'm your best friend, and I always will be." 😭😭😭 This episode brought me so close to tears so many times. Marinette admitting she's keeping secrets, lying to everyone. Admitting that that's why she draws a line between her and Adrien, and why her and Luka didn't work out. Alya saying however heavy it is, they'll carry it together (MY HEART) And then Marinette saying "If I tell you, things between us will never be the same. It's going to destroy everything, change it all." It sounds like this girl is thinking about Chat Blanc and oop there's the sound of my heart breaking again. So much paaaain. "Je suis Ladybug." YESSSSSSS Why they had to leave it off on a cliffhanger But YESSSSSSS First, the expressions she had flash on her face, the gasp 😮, then the expression like she's trying to get her mind to process. Then if you notice, Marinette gives a little nod, as if letting her know that it's true. Then the way her eyebrows furrow and pulls her into the hug as she understands all that she has on her shoulders as that music plays. I'm getting

emotional just writing this. 😭 This episode is just so amazingly good in so many ways, I don't think I can actually cover it all. I'm very impressed. I've loved nearly every episode this show has put out, even those that a lot of people seem to hate. But this one, I don't see how this could actually be hated if you're trying to think of everything that happened from Marinette's point of view, her thoughts, feelings, struggles, depression. I will say, personally I hoped Chat Noir would learn who Ladybug is first. He's been such a good partner, very thoughtful, always putting his life on the line. He's also been dealing with a lot of the same struggles. I felt like he deserved to know first. However, this isn't about who deserves what, it's about what Marinette needs. It's not that she doesn't want to tell him who she is! Don't misunderstand. There are many times throughout the past 3 seasons where she wants to or regrets not being able to. But now, Chat Blanc's in her mind. She knows what could happen if she tells him with Hawk Moth still there, so she can't do it. So instead, she tries to pretend in front of him that she's fine even though talking to him about everything would help and fix so much. In her mind, that's not an option. I just hope that when he finds out she told someone else first, he doesn't think that she doesn't trust him enough to tell him. Next I thought maybe Alix. That way it'd be more understandable to Chat that she'd know, after all future Bunnyx clearly knows and said to Ladybug that she chose her because she's capable of keeping secrets (notice how Alya said that to Ladybug in the alley? I bet Alix will find out in the near future. Maybe not this season, but she'll find out.) But that's for another time. But now Alya knows! Her best friend, the one to have her back and will no doubt have it even more so now! Watch out, Lila. Alya doesn't hold back so I can imagine how vicious she could be to her (and I can't wait). And that brings up a very interesting thought. Alya will realize Adrien has been the only one to have her back in Lila situations. Why would he do that, hmm? When everyone else was so sure Lila's an angel and Marinette must be bad for saying anything negative about her. Journalist Alya, incoming! There's also the matters of Alya bringing up Marinette's feelings for Chat Noir because duh, everybody can see how much she loves him! There are even photos of them kissing, one of which happened in front of Alya's own eyes! Though affected by an akuma, they all know that kiss didn't happen because of it. And of course, Alya has brought up twice in the show so far that Adrien and Chat Noir could be the same person. And last time Alya said that neither of them could be Ladybug and Chat Noir. Except, she's now found out that Marinette is Ladybug. So maybe Adrien could after all be Chat Noir. I look forward to seeing how their new dynamic is. I wonder how this affects their relationship with the other girls. And I'm most curious about how Nino and Adrien may react to this change. I thought during Truth and Lies both that their best friends were going to find out about their breakups. Gang of Secrets was Alya finding out. Even though I feel like another parallel episode is just wishful thinking, I can't help but think it may be a possibility. Nino and the boys are going to wonder what's up with Adrien too. They're going to wonder why he's not with Kagami anymore so suddenly. So what if i the end, Chat Noir ends up telling Nino? I could see it, if this takes place shortly after Gang of Secrets, where she tells Chat that she's confided her identity in a very close friend and somehow they agree that he can tell someone too that he trusts to make it fair. It'd be an amazing way to exercise Ladybug's trust in Chat Noir too. Then we'd have both Alya and Nino in on it, keeping their best friend's secrets for them without knowing about the other one. Oh that'd be so beautiful! And also let them keep their Miraculouses too after the charms are given to them and Alya has the ability to break

free after being akumatized. I adore Rena and Carapace so much I'd be ecstatic if they kept them. 😭 Anyway, so much potential can come out of this episode and I honestly cannot wait until episode 4!!

more differences: less evil editing. rumors that editors cut conversations about the hate that nakamori mikoto is getting right now. also more drama from the mentors compared to the trainees

what concepts/sounds/songs do we want to see for the final group? depends on the members, but &me is the most population 3rd round preview. (someone said e-girls, big agree from me)

we all miss the mentor sugai hidenori from s1 & s2 lol

there are way more experienced trainees on s3 compared to s1 & s2. some people are happy about this because it means they can do more interesting & challenging performances. host brought up that this is probably because korean companies having japanese trainees was wayyy more rare in/before 2019 compared to now.

don't like how they did the rap songs this time, with already completed songs. in s1 they just gave them a beat and they got to do more performance creation (this season afaik they wrote lyrics but they had to git the rapping in bijin & shut down) (personally havent seem the ep yet so idk tho)

kokona had a very hyewon character but in this ep people realized that she can actually sing (someone then compared her to minju). since she's already #6 based largely on visuals, we might see a rank rise for her

do we have too many vocalists in the top? with jo1 (s1) & bonbon girls (chuang 2020) this messes with their line distribution & ability to maximize their skills. host feels that bonbon only shone through ballads since they couldnt dance & had 4/7 main vocals (i half agree - they had 3 members who couldn't hold a note), i feel that jo1's members do great in subunits (especially sho, ren, sukai, & takumi, as evidenced by their performance on the first take). pretty solid comparison although lapone habdles jo1 better than tencent handled bonbon imo. cant fully compare because bonbon only had 2 years full of indiv activity & preplanned music while jo1 is permanent & has had the opportunity to grow

introvert, extrovert, ambivert ; extrovert asf, except for when im having a bad day.... i become unusually quiet.

personality & stuff ; (i'm really bad at describing myself but here goes-) loyal, out-going, chaotic, forgetful, social, tomboy. i give off intimidating vibes at first and even though im pretty frightening when im angry i am a softie. i'm affection deprived; i dont really have anyone to show affection to without being called out fot it (except for my little sister). im open minded and i have a kind of weird fear of commitment. i love the rain and the ocean (especially walks in the beach plus walks in slight rain) but i am absolutely terrified of thunderstorms. i use nicknames (sometimes basic ones) with almost everyone i know, im the type of person who stays up until 3am and wakes up at 6am but is still energetic and hyper (and yes, im sleep deprived but no one can even tell i am).

i dont look athletic but i do alot of sports so i guess i am athletic. im scared of the dark, being judged, confined spaces, being betrayed and being alone mental wise. im music and coffee obsessed; i cannot last one day without having at least three cups of coffee and listening to at least two albums of pop and indie music. i loathe dresses, skirts and make-up (except for lipbalm cuz i have dry ass lips), if i ever wear a dress i'd probably wear a blue one with sneakers cause heels are not my thing. i seem stupid and dumb but im not at the same time?? im only saying this because i didnt study for an exam once but i still got 70s???

im always confused about myself (sexuality and such) but im not at all insecure. i tend to over think and over analyze everything people say to me and the actions they do while saying it. im confident when it comes to confessing to people BUT i do get attached to people easily. i can be over protective and i do get jealous easily. at the same time, i get angry really easy and i try not to show it. i hate it when people argue and i always try to stop people from arguing and i get involved without even knowing im getting involved lol. im also the person who always makes sure others take good care of themselves (self-care) but i don't do it myself, im a hypocrite i guess-

I have to be honest, when the first-AND I MEAN THE VERY FIRST, teaser came out, everything went bonkers.

One twitter user was fighting another group stan in a dark alleyway over some useless rank of brand reputation, another one was overanalyzing Dahyun's leggings and the other over Jeongyeon's boots' colors that's different than the others (blue, as expected), another once was aggressively making memes out of the mere 11 seconds of the Drop Spoiler.

All of the actions above are nothing new in Twiceland of course, we are all mentally eel (and we been knew), but it made our wrecked mind even wrecked because the SURPRISE?? A NEW ENGLISH SINGLE?? SOMETING THAT INTL FAN CAN FINALLY UNDERSTAND WITHOUT TURNING ON CC OR WATCHING COLOR CODED VIDEOS?

Then it all kinda went downhill from there (for me at least)

First of all, JYP /eyeroll/ released a statement that Miss Maam Beloved Yoo Jeongyeon can't participate in near future activity of the group because of her anxiety and health problems. Dude...the way that my heart sank knowing our ms maam is suffering somewhere, not feeling well...that made me want to give up badly. What's the point of supporting the group when the reason you're here is not present? But then I remembered the wise words of JY herself that she wanted the group to be forever. That made me happy once again, knowing that JY herself is trying her best and so should I.

Anyway, back to The Feels promotions ಠ_ಠ

The team released a spoiler from the ACTUAL song as a sound on tiktok. I was so excited but also scared because...sometimes you can kinda judge a song's vibe from a snippet. I just hoping the song's is up my alley.

I REALLY TRY TO LIKE IT, but I couldn't (yea call me tasteless or a [insert number here]-anti yapayapayapa--whatever ). It was simply not the kind of song I enjoy casually. But I tried not to be so judgmental over mere seconds of a song's snippet.

Maybe I'll absolutely fall head over heals over the whole song, or maybe the choreography, maybe the outfits ?

...I hate to break it to you bud...the outfits and the MV setting are the only one I like so far, gotta wait on those choreo vid to drop.

I feel like the production team, the band, the sound mixer, the guy/gal who plays keyboard/drum/guitar or whomever needs to put more work into producing the song??? because it only has like 2.5 lines of musical notes (?) that they used over and over again. It honestly feels like I'm listening to a loop of a 1 minute song. BRO LIKE??? ADD SOME SPICE FOR MY GIRLIES?? PLEASE?

In term of lyrics, I'm impressed with the girls' pronunciation and choice of wordings, like:

So in conclusion,

jyp seems to continue to give the bare minimum to the girlies, they will PAY. But for now, lemme enjoy the good things about the songs and ignore the other bad things.

One more twist to this already long rant...

The fan of this group (that I'm also a part of 😔, yes I'm ashamed) made it worse.

It wouldn't be a comeback without us blabbering between ourselves, calling each other maniacs, comparing seconds (UNTIL THE MILLISECONDS, apparently) of MV shots and lines between members.

ISTG some of yall made everything worse. Some of yall are wholesome af and cute and all positive vibes and all. But the rest of yall are sick in the head. I recommend therapy. Get. Help.

Anyways, kindly check the song if you're curious. Although mistreated and broken and bent and could be giving what it was suppose to give, (I'm not going to sugar coat it), it was an ok song.

It is enjoyable (to the least), the MV set is nice, the girls are very pretty & clearly got talent to sing in foreign languages.

20. Favorite Original Story Idea (Authored by Me): I’ve got 2/3 on my mind right now. (Because I can't pick favorites to save my life.) 

 #1 is Introvert city girl with a fear of dogs and her mom move to a small town where the random dogs out in the woods are bigger than average and a really cute boy takes a sudden interest in her. (spoiler alert--its werewolves. He’s a werewolf. Do you know how hard it is to tell your crush about your furry problem when they're afraid of dogs? Also, add in a mysterious organization that has a problem kidnapping adolescent werewolves and we’ve got ourselves half a plot ladies and gentlemen.)

#2 is about another introvert girl (surprise, surprise) in a zombie apocalypse. It’s been months since she’s seen another human being who doesn’t want to eat her. Her story starts when she happens upon an old radio and while fiddling with it one night, she accidentally tunes into a boys channel where four boys talk to each other. there’s a lot of introverting, reading, dogs, cold weather, dead people trying to eat her, looting, and listening to boys conversations over a walkie talkie that may or may not classify as creepy.

and #3 is just classic noble girl is sent as a spy into the enemy kingdom but everything goes to shit before she even walks in the door. Mission was simple. Be a kitchen girl, poison the King's food and kill him and then escape back home during the confusion. Instead, she gets the honor of becoming the Prince’s comfort woman/concubine after the last girl did an honor killing on herself. So, new mission. Get close enough to the Prince that he tells her information and then send that information back to her country so that they can win the war. (Passing secret information along is a little easier when it's not written down on paper but instead in flower crowns and bouquets as the secret language of flowers.)
