How to Choose the Best Lighting Solutions for Your Home in Delhi NCR
Lighting is one of the most important aspects of interior design. It can create the mood, ambiance, and style of your home. It can also affect your comfort, productivity, and well-being. That’s why choosing the right lighting solutions for your home is essential.
But how do you choose the best lighting solutions for your home in Delhi NCR? What are the factors that you need to consider? And where can you find the best LED light manufacturer in Delhi?
In this blog post, we will answer these questions and give you some tips on how to choose the best lighting solutions for your home in Delhi NCR.
Types of Lighting Solutions
There are three main types of lighting solutions that you need to know: ambient, task, and accent.
Ambient lighting is the general lighting that provides overall illumination for your home. It can be natural light from windows or artificial light from ceiling fixtures, wall sconces, or floor lamps. Ambient lighting should be soft, even, and comfortable for your eyes.
Task lighting is the focused lighting that helps you perform specific tasks such as reading, working, cooking, or grooming. It can be desk lamps, table lamps, pendant lights, or under-cabinet lights. Task lighting should be bright, directional, and adjustable for your needs.
Accent lighting is the decorative lighting that highlights certain features or areas of your home such as artworks, plants, shelves, or fireplaces. It can be spotlights, track lights, recessed lights, or strip lights. Accent lighting should be subtle, contrastive, and creative for your style.
Factors to Consider
When choosing the best lighting solutions for your home in Delhi NCR, you need to consider several factors such as:
The size and shape of your room
The purpose and function of your room
The color and texture of your walls and furniture
The style and theme of your interior design
The budget and energy efficiency of your lighting solutions
Based on these factors, you can decide what type of lighting solutions you need for each room of your home. For example:
For your living room, you may want a combination of ambient, task, and accent lighting to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere. You can use a ceiling fan with a light kit for ambient lighting, a floor lamp with a dimmer switch for task lighting, and some LED strip lights behind your TV for accent lighting.
For your bedroom, you may want a combination of ambient and task lighting to create a relaxing and comfortable environment. You can use a flush mount ceiling light for ambient lighting, a bedside lamp with a touch sensor for task lighting, and some LED candles for mood lighting.
For your kitchen, you may want a combination of ambient and task lighting to create a bright and functional space. You can use recessed lights for ambient lighting, pendant lights over your island or dining table for task lighting, and some LED under-cabinet lights for accent lighting.

Beautiful Homes of Instagram
Happy new week, my friends! How wonderful it is to start this brand new week with you! May all of us have a Blessed and healthy week, filled with good vibes. Talking about good vibes, this “Beautiful Homes of Instagram” today is all about that! Agata, from @TassonInteriors, has a home that feels heavenly. Its neutral color palette combined with classic millwork exudes a timeless elegance that embraces you the moment you step inside.
Having Agata on the blog today is truly a great honor. She worked really hard on collecting all sources for this feature and even hired a photographer to share her home with you. Please make sure to follow her on Instagram and feel free to pin her beautiful home! This talented homeowner deserves all the love we can give!
Here, she tells us more about her current home (Note: I am reposting this today because I am taking a few days off with my family. 🙂 )
“Hi! My name is Agata from @TassonInteriors.  I’m so excited and grateful to be featured by Luciane on Home Bunch!  I’ve found so much inspiration here and it feels surreal to be featured among so many talented designers and homeowners.
I started my career as a criminal prosecutor ten years ago.  When our daughter was born I took a break from law to enjoy these precious young years with her. During that time my husband and I started our third home renovation. Earlier this year I started an Instagram account to share our renovation, and my love for design. With the encouragement of family and friends I am now in the process of pursuing my longstanding passion for interior design and decorating as a career.
Our current home is the one featured here in these photos. My husband and I purchased this home as a new builder grade home.  We love the neighbourhood because it has an abundance of parks, new schools, young families, and it’s close to many amenities. We didn’t upgrade anything through the builder choosing instead to put our own stamp on the house which included full kitchen and bathroom renovations (our master bathroom is currently under construction).  I wanted a light, bright, airy, warm, casual and liveable home. I’m really flattered to be able to share my home and work with you. I hope that you enjoy the tour! Thanks for stopping by!”
  Beautiful Homes of Instagram
Meet the homeowner: This is Agata, from @ATstylemyhome, in her beautiful kitchen! I am so thankful for all of the time she put into this feature!

Mirrored Doors: I added these mirrored doors in our entrance hallway to make the space feel more open and airy. We love them so much that we also added them to our laundry closet. (source is Trim-lite)
Dining Room
I love having a separate dining room but we didn’t want anything too formal or fancy. We love to host family and friends, but our dining room isn’t just for special occasions. We eat dinner in our dining room every evening. It’s so important to me for our family to connect around the table at the end of the day.
Table – similar at RH, here, here & here.
Herringbone Flooring
These herringbone floors were a last minute decision which turned out to be our favourite feature of this room. We also added some millwork to give the white walls some interest.
Chandelier: Visual Comfort Co. hand -rubbed antique bras with clear glass.

Picture Frame Wainscoting: We added picture frame wainscoting to the dining room and the master bedroom. It gives both rooms a more elegant and custom feel.

   Butler’s Pantry
A butler’s pantry is located between the dining room and kitchen.
The wide plank European white oak floors are by far my favourite feature of this house. They add so much character and warmth to our home. They also give it the light and airy feel that I was after.
Cabinetry
Glass doors give an airy feel to the butler’s pantry cabinetry.
Kitchen
This is our favourite space in our home.  I love the open floor plan kitchen and family room.  It’s where we spend most of our time preparing meals, playing, reading and enjoying our family time.   The back of our home is southwest facing so we enjoy a lot of natural light here. We eliminated the breakfast area and designed this custom kitchen opting for a large 9 x 4.5 foot island instead of a breakfast table.  I wanted the kitchen to feel modern and fresh yet timeless. The panelled fridge was a splurge but I absolutely love it.
Double Oven – Jenn Air
Fridge – Thermador
Cabinet Paint Color
Cabinet Colour – Simply White by Benjamin Moore.
Backsplash
For the backsplash I opted for a very classic white bevelled 3 x 6 subway tile.  I didn’t want anything too busy or trendy. I love how the backsplash compliments the quartz counters without competing with them.
Backsplash – 3×6 white beveled subway tile – similar here & here (crackled tile).
Pot Filler – Kohler Artifacts Wall Mount Pot Filler in Polished Nickel
Oil & Vinegar set – West Elm
Glass Cooktop – KitchenAid
Hood Fan – Falmec
Similar Cutting Boards: here.

Metals
I like the fact that the mix of metal in this kitchen exists but it’s limited to two finishes; polished nickel and aged iron.
Hardwood Flooring
The wide plank European white oak floors are by far my favourite feature of this house. They add so much character and warmth to our home. They also give it the light and airy feel that I was after.
Flooring: 7.5 inch European white Oak made by Purparket unstained (sanded on site). Finished with a clear coat made by Loba – No stain used – similar here.

Counterstools
I searched and searched for the perfect counter stools but ultimately I decided to stick with the ones that I already had.  Instead, with the help of Anne from Oakville Slipcovers I had slipcovers made from some beautiful striped fabric from Tonic Living.  I’m so happy with how they turned out!
Barstools – Homesense find years ago but I recently added these slipcovers Slipcover fabric is Tonic Living. Custom made by Anne at Oakville Slipcovers – similar here – (Select Fabric: Perennials® Performance Shirting Stripe – Pewter).
Kitchen Island Dimensions
Island Size – 4.5 feet by 9 feet
Family Room
I love the generous size of this room.  We opted for a sectional sofa to maximize seating.  We added a coffered ceiling to add some character and interest to this room, as well as to add some definition to the space. My husband built the shiplap wall above the fireplace.

This is a good way to place pillows on a sectional sofa.

Decor
Mirror – Homesense.
Small Vases in built in: here.
Baskets in built-in – Indigo
Vase on Mantle – Structure – similar here.
Wall Paint Color
Family Room –  Classic Gray by Benjamin Moore.
We originally planned to hang the TV above the fireplace but we ended up mounting it on the adjacent wall so that the shiplap would remain the feature.

Trim, fireplace and built-ins are Benjamin Moore Simply White.
Branches – Pottery Barn
The large basket is from Pottery Barn.
Coffee Table
Coffee Table – here.
Living Room Roman Shades
Woven Roman Shades – Hunter Douglas, Provenance Collection, colour Trellis.
Powder Room
The powder room was originally located between the kitchen and the dining room.  We relocated the powder room into the sunken laundry room. The original powder room was transformed into a walk-in pantry across from the butler’s pantry.  I love that the powder room is now in a more discrete spot.
I was really inspired by Luciane’s first Beautiful Homes of Instagram Home Bunch feature @JSHomeDesign’s powder room.  That’s where I found this beautiful Crown wallpaper and this honed marble herringbone tile. I designed this custom mirrored vanity and paired it with a durable quartz counter.
Pocket Doors (powder room) Another way we added custom charm to our cookie cutter build was to add pocket doors. They are such great space savers. (Hardware is by Emtek) (pocket door is in the powder room, between master bedroom and master bathroom & 2 master bedroom walk-in closets)
Flooring: Honed Marble Herringbone Floor Tile (similar here)
Mirror – Homesense – similar here, here, here & here.
Wallpaper – Crown – Other beautiful wallpapers: here.
Faucet
Faucet – Perrin & Rowe.
Chandelier – Pottery Barn Kids.
  Home Office
Another favourite space is our home office.  This space is also our craft room, wrapping station and future homework station.  I love that my husband and I can use it at the same time. It’s a bright, airy and cheerful space that I look forward to spending time in.
Desk
Desk – Custom made using IKEA cabinets

Two Neoclassical Home Interiors In Shades Of Grey
We’ve coupled together two sophisticated home interiors that illustrate how grey decor melds beautifully with the neoclassical style. The first is a chic and sleek, modern meets classic affair. Wall panel molding has been added into the surroundings to trim and accentuate some more contemporary pieces. Gold and copper trims and accessories add shine and glamour to the finish. Home tour number two offers up a more maximalist approach, with plentiful furniture designs, and home style ideas galore. This plethora of beautiful things is set against a wonderful backdrop of traditional ceiling coving, highly decorative boiserie and smart wainscotting.
Visualizer: Home D   Our first neoclassical interior design begins in a serene lounge that houses a low profile grey fabric sofa. The seating stretches out in a sleek line along a light herringbone floor. It divides the common living space into two, with one half playing host to the comfortable lounge area and the other reserved for a chic kitchen dining combo.
The modern sofa provides seating in every direction, meaning family and friends can choose to focus their attention into the kitchen area whilst still relaxing back on the couch. The walls of the open plan living space sport traditional style panel molding, painted with a whisper of grey. One especially large section of panel molding frames the flat screen tv.
A small side table, with a flashy copper trim, showcases a designer table lamp.
In the kitchen diner, a gold sputnik chandelier shines above the eating area. Gold frame dining chairs match the light installation.
Cut logs nestle within a recessed column, creating an attractive feature by a modern fireplace that is stylishly amalgamated into the wall panel.
The black dining table merges with the kitchen island, which forms its other support leg.
Stark contrast is made between white and charcoal elements in the room. Metallic accents sing against the darkest shades.
King of the bedroom decor scheme is a lion art print, which dominates a grey wainscot wall. White bedside table lamps stand out against the grey; these are the Atollo lamp. Cheaper replicas are available on Ebay.
A neoclassical bedroom chair duo stand by the window. A trio of pearlescent side tables push up between them like dewy toadstools.
Semi translucent closet doors allow a subtle reveal of the wardrobe contents inside. A flat screen tv has been mounted onto one half of the closet to align the screen at the optimum viewing angle from the bed. A large tinted glass vase sprouts a dried floral arrangement at its side.
Concrete ceiling tiles counteract the smooth and sophisticated neoclassical wall decor with a touch of industrial grit.
A double sink bathroom vanity is underlit to give it a weightless effect.
Illuminated vanity mirrors echo the floating effect of the wall unit.
A modern grey bidet and toilet set have a sharp square silhouette.
In the hallway, a coat hanging nook has been picked out in charcoal paint.
A second grey bedroom in the home holds a plush tufted bed.
Beneath the luxury bed, a black area rug softens the wood floor.
Reading light is provided by a slender floor lamp at the bedside.
Sheer white drapes let natural light filter into the grey shaded room.
Glossy black closet doors engulf one entire wall.
Attractive classic panel molding details the interior doors.
Minimalist vertical radiator bars heat the small shower room.
A unique sink area makes the most of a narrow space: A scooped shelf accentuates a side mounted circular mirror, and a freestanding sink is accessorised with a bright copper faucet and bottle trap.
Designer: Dinamika Architects   Visualizer: Dinamika Architects   Our second tour begins in a lounge that is packed with gorgeous grey home decor, including a striking modern coffee table set at its centre. A unique modern chandelier hangs above the nesting coffee tables, echoing the round shape of the tallest.
A sofa unit spans the back of the light grey couch; its white top matches the crisp white walls in the room, whilst dark wood effect doors give the piece some visual weight.
The sofa also has integrated bookshelves along one side of it. An individual bookcase climbs the wall on the other side of the room, and more shelves span the top of the tv wall.
Deeply decorative boiserie swags across the window wall. Gold and glass orb dining pendant lights gleam over a table behind the lounge.
A low level media unit underlines the wall mounted tv.
Crystal paperweights decorate one of the coffee tables, cut like giant diamonds.
Light herringbone flooring runs through a hallway of white wainscot.
Black light tracks and a black mirror contrast with the ethereal surroundings.
A purple bedroom scheme provides an unexpected break from the monochrome theme.
Deep purple bedclothes and a single scatter cushion on a modern accent chair colour the space.
Smoked glass closet doors obscure the contents.
A purple glass vase adds a pop of colour to the bedside.
The walk in closet is kitted out with a comprehensive system of rails, shelves, storage nooks and drawers.
A shower enclosure and toilet are located on an elevated platform in the bathroom. Contrasting marble slabs smoke across the wall.
Made to measure cabinets make up the vanity area.
Another bedroom houses a cosy bed that is beautifully layered with monochrome striped sheets and pillows, a soft grey comforter and a tasselled chevron throw. A grey shelving stack opposite the foot of the bed includes contrasting wooden cubbies. Unusual treasures and textbooks fill the shelves. Up on the ceiling, stunning coving trims the room like royal icing.
A marble bench seat has been fashioned in the hallway. A tower of grey shelves climb from its side, displaying items that add personality to the home. A bank of white storage cabinets stretch away from the nook.

Foyer
How inviting! Great design and beauty embraces you the moment you open the front door. Notice the classic wainscoting.
Rug – HomeSense (HomeGoods in USA) –  similar here & here (in Blue-grey).
Foyer Decor
This gorgeous arch window mirror is from Pier One.
Console Table – Wayfair – similar here & here.
Basket – Ikea – similar here.
Paint Color
Walls and wainscoting are painted in Simply White by Benjamin Moore.
Baseboard Style
Baseboards: Tudor-style 7 inch.
Light fixture – Wayfair.
Mirrored Doors
Picture This!
Picture Frame Wainscoting: We added picture frame wainscoting to the dining room and the master bedroom. It gives both rooms a more elegant and custom feel.
Window Treatment

Paint Color
Paint color is Simply White BM.

Cabinet Hardware: Knobs, Pulls & Dishwasher Pulls in Polished nickel.
Faucet
Faucet, soap dispenser & filtered water faucet – Waterstone in Polished Nickel

Kitchen Lighting & Runner
Pendants – Visual Comfort Darlana Pendant –  small in Aged Iron.
Kitchen runner is vintage – good sources for vintage runner: here, here & here – similar here.
Dishwasher (panel ready) – Miele
Sectional
Sectional Couch – custom from Crate & Barrel in colour Pumice.
Rug – Wayfair – size 8×11
Pillows
This is a good way to place pillows on a sectional sofa.

The blue and white 25 inch pillows were also Pottery Barn and no longer available (similar here).

Branches – Pottery Barn
The large basket is from Pottery Barn.
Coffee Table

The Re-Style Of A Luxury Villa
Elegant white furniture stands clean against textured stone and rustic wooden backdrops in this re-styled luxury villa in Cap Martinet, Ibiza. The high-end interior, visualised by Tabarq, is illuminated by a contemporary lighting scheme of recessed track LEDs and sculptural pendant lights. The layout includes an airy open plan main room that spills out onto a sociable pool patio, which doubles the living area. The patio is all set for entertaining with its sparkling blue infinity swimming pool, al fresco eating area and outdoor lounge. A large balcony offers up another opportunity to enjoy the sunny Ibizan weather. Inside, luxurious bedroom suites are styled as peaceful retreats, and sophisticated bathroom decor evokes a spa-like feel.
The modern home exterior cuts into the side of a lush green hill, surrounded by mature trees. The Ibizan sunshine beats down over the building’s crisp pure white façade.
An infinity pool cuts across the edge of a pool patio, dividing the home from the lawn. Climbing plants help to somewhat meld the contemporary structure with its green location.
Towering windows slice the side of the building. An exterior staircase climbs the rise of the grassy hill toward the main entrance.
The outside living space is divided into several volumes, like outdoor rooms. Luxury sun loungers lay by the edge of the infinity pool, in front of an al fresco dining set. A more separate sun deck is set at the head of the pool, with views of the garden below. An exterior sitting room is situated at the far end, nestled close to house.
The return of the patio is in partial shade thanks to a modern pergola design. There is also an outdoor shower here to rinse off the chlorine from the pool, or simply to cool down without taking a dip. Mature shrubs feather the edges of the concrete floor.
Individual sun shades create cool over the rest of the sun loungers situated along the main patio.
Another pergola design surrounds the outdoor lounge with natural wood and charming ivy. Cutaways in the slats prevent the area from feeling too closed in.
Moving inside, the luxury living room has a large U-shaped modular sofa arrangement. The modules and cushions are mixed white and taupe to create light and depth.
The U-shaped modern sofa gathers around a wall mounted flat screen tv. The tv wall decor is a beautiful meld of white stone and natural wood panelling. A fireplace is situated to one side of an elevated hearth. The unit has been underlit with LED strip lights to accentuate its floating effect. A small array of books and ornaments decorate its surface.
Four kitchen pendant lights line up over a peninsula, where four bar stools perch in anticipation.
The main formal dining area is located outside to make the most of the pleasant climate.
Two rows of wooden cabinets make up a galley kitchen layout in the open plan room.
A modern belfast style sink dominates the back wall of units, made from the same stone as the countertop and backsplash. The backsplash is lit by warm LED lights, which creates a special glow.
The combination of white stone and natural wood backdrop continues into the bedrooms. This luxury bedroom is also bathed in a copper glow from tinted mirrors and a whole host of matching metallic accessories.
The ensuite bathroom looks like a mini spa, clad top to toe in textured stone and smooth wooden finishes.
A large shower screen stands frameless for a clean look.
More copper tinted mirrors appear on the closet doors in the second double bedroom suite. Copper storm lanterns complement their colour.
Black basins stand out on this double sink bathroom vanity. A textured front panel on the unit balances out the dark statement pieces.
A unique ceiling fan spins above a third luxury bedroom design, but it’s still the copper accents that steal the show. Decorative discs dot a mirrored wall in here; the reflective wall visually doubles the size of the room.
This modern bathroom vanity has a single basin set to one side, leaving one half of the unit free to hold toiletries. A frameless vanity mirror cuts down the centre of a wood panel wall, lit by tubular pendant lights.
Backlit metallic discs shine ambient light around the headboard wall of bedroom four, but its a pair of sculptural bedroom pendant lights that really shape the scheme.
A smaller ensuite is attached this time, though the compact space still screams luxury with its bespoke bathroom furniture and gleaming fittings.
The home comes equipped with a yoga studio, to align body, mind and spirit.
Upstairs, there is a balcony that overlooks the mature trees and other greenery of the garden below. Luxury outdoor sofas border the balcony, forming another outdoor lounge for contemplative rest and relaxation. A low wooden coffee table stands poised to hold cold drinks and reading material. We see a repeat of the large disc-like sun shades that are utilised down on the patio up here, their white skins matching the light sofas and the purity of the building exterior.
By night the sun shades become beautifully soft lamps to illuminate the seating area. Small floor lamps glow between the sofas, whilst outdoor wall sconces beat a path of light toward the balcony doors.

Industrial Style Living Room Design: The Essential Guide
Nothing says effortless cool and easy maintenance than an industrial-style living room. Exposed brick walls greet black and white typographic prints, factory windows meet shaggy rugs, and iron piping encounters roughshod wooden floors to create living spaces that look perfectly thrown together. Unleash your inner bookworm by piling your factory ceilings high with books. Inject prim and proper detailing, comfortable couches and beautiful light fixtures into a space lined in concrete. Light a fire in the middle of your living room, housed in copper and glass. Design your own industrial-style interior, by taking a read through our lounge guide.
Designer: Form 8 Studio   Make the most of concrete walls, by interspersing them with wood and slate. This many-textured apartment keeps it simple by using only brown, grey, black and green in its colour palette. Camera lights and a wooden runway guide the way in, while longer pendants dangle in the kitchen. A block sofa and wooden-crate coffee table offer a place to relax, while newer crates provide an inbuilt seat opposite. Black, chalkboard-esque textures make the room appear worn and torn, as a projector TV caters to modern needs.
Designer: Form 8 Studio
Visualizer: Yo Dezeen   Create a dark and dreamy industrial home decor mood. This high-ceilinged space reverses roles as polished wood lines the ceiling, rough concrete the floor. A soft brown L sofa provides a seat, matching the wooden tones of the bookcase behind. Rows of black shelving add an air of intellectualism, eschewing artwork. Stencilled details in a one-wheel coffee table, rows of lighting and a staircase add finishing touches.
Visualizer: Zooi Design   An industrial living room doesn’t have to be brown and grey. This smaller space brings in a dash of lemon, which forms abstracts and a slinking cat in the kitchen. A black quilted couch offers comfort before painted brick in the same hue. Light-wooden floors create warmth amidst concrete and grey, as guests are led to a modern panel fire.
Source: B&B Italia    Lucky enough to live in a loft? Use its high factory windows to full effect. Unfinished concrete walls and wooden floors provide an industrial canvas for bold, modern ottomans, sleek grey booth chairs and an eclectic dining table. Elements of cream dot the space in hovering lamps, simple bookcases and dining table ornaments. Paired with white rafters and different-texture rugs, its high windows shine upon a room both industrial and modern.
Visualizer: Ibrahim Ethem Kisacik   Have a ceiling that stretches two floors? Make the windows a little wider, the concrete bolted and the rails iron, and you’ve got a winner like this classy living space. Mirroring the joinery, a geometric light hangs low from the ceiling, drawing the eye to its two chains. A large, airy space allows black to pepper framed artwork, seating and rugs, while an exposed brick walls bring colour. Unique finds in a yellow ostrich egg, golden telescope and garbage-can pot add personal style.
Visualizer: Mattreid88   Want to create two floors, where you only have one? Make like this living room and construct a steel staircase on stilts. Framed by high ceilings of bolted concrete, a spiral staircase winds up to the loot, lit by drop pendants on the way. Low, leather cubby chairs, an abstract gangster dog and simple potted tree finesse the look.
Visualizer: Romas Noreika   Industrial spaces don’t have to be separate. This lounge, kitchen and bedroom area uses steel, glass and polished wood to create the vibe of a modern factory. Ceiling rafters, couch frames, staircases and kitchen stools mix wood with metal. Through an uncannily-high entrance, the floor reveals large extractor piping, impressive under a runway of glass. A cloister of idea bulbs form a chandelier and edge along the runway, lighting up the space alongside factory windows.
Visualizer: Javier Wainstein   Take your industrial living room down a level. This space keeps it clean and sophisticated in terracotta, grey and light wooden hues. Factory windows meet face-to-face with an abstract of the sea. Polished concrete holds terracotta leather met by white and wooden tables, their steel legs tying in modern elements. Potted plants beside hark back to nature.
Visualizer: Koj Design   Give your lounge an artsy look. Under a concrete ceiling and snaking extractor fans, a criss-cross wooden floor holds a variety of art deco objects. A black dog statuette guards the tree-lined balcony. A quilted white leather couch and chandeliers add luxury, while a chequered floor decal ties black and white in. A final fusion lies in the china cabinet, industrial in its steel frame, traditional in its wares.
Visualizer: Lyubimova Kate   This industrial lounge carries a relaxed, warehouse vibe. Faded wallpaper sits beside whitewashed rafters and exposed brick, creating large expanses interspersed by leaning prints. Two grey leather couches slide over a scratched rug, while a bevy of unique floor lamps keep watch behind.
Visualizer: Alexander Uglyanitsa   Create fire in the middle of your lounge. This lounge uses brown and grey wood with a sprinkling of brick to house an innovative fireplace. The focal centre of the room, copper-pipe railing keeps the feel industrial, while a one-piece S-chair, Turkish rug, turquoise L-seater and pendant lamp bring elements from the 70’s.
Visualizer: Algimantas Raubiška   Indulge your hipster inclinations with a bike on the wall. With one wall washed over in white, this mostly-grey space uses its original red brick as a feature. Lined with Scandinavian-style shelving, it makes an impact beside muted grey seating and a horsehair throw. A geometric rug, female figure and glass-jar lighting provide personality.
Visualizer: Adel Maza   Living in an abandoned factory? Make the most of your location, by mixing the corporate and industrial. Stacked glass cubes create rooms under corrugated iron, as thick grey piping winds around the space. As bright orange pops beside concrete and exposed brick, light falls from ceiling-hung rosary bead lighting. A mosaic floor decal and leather seating take centre stage, as large palms and a jukebox lurk behind.
Visualizer: Pavel Vetrov   Take the rustic look into the 21st Century. Using pops of red to highlight focal spaces, two leaning prints, a coffee table and wall-mounted deer head draw the eye over fire. Leather couching goes from rigid to relaxed; bookcases from wooden and solid to made of metal. An exposed brick column and concrete inner balcony add points of interest.
Designer: Hao Design    Mix the industrial and the heroic in this unusual living room. Part of a superhero-themed home, an exposed brick panel stands beside a row of camera lighting, as a Marvel star shines in the metal bookcase. Quilted leather couches hark to the rustic with a cow hide rug, while a hi-vis orange lamp and metal table make it industrial.
Visualizer: Dmitry Tisnoguz   Make the industrial style completely your own. In this lounge, a metal spider pendant creeps over a light wooden table, as a lemon-coloured sofa sits to the side. Traditional exposed brick and concrete walling feature a typographic decal and DVD cabinets with the latest screens.
Visualizer: Sitnik Vladimir   Make your living room a time machine. Encased in brick with train station windows, an exposed centre panel hosts a giant artwork fan. Pops of orange and brown create the couch and rug, while unique floor lamps shine over the top of a cherry picker coffee table.
Visualizer: CG Marines   Designing a bachelor pad? This brick-walled living room has everything you need. Three hanging pendants light up a Darth Vader print, two black leather chairs, a gramophone and telescope, as a white electric guitar hides under the stairs. Drenched in white, a floating staircase mimics the ceiling rafters and colour of the rug.
Visualizer: Viktor Pryshliak   Add comfort to a concrete room. Beige hessian lamps and pendants mingle with muted grey sofas and a half-and-half coffee table, tying in the two. Potted trees add life beneath three framed photographs, while a cascading wood and steel bookshelf holds memories in trinkets.
Visualizer: Darkroom Studio   Want a room lined with bookshelves? This industrial interior eschews paintings for the colourful form of books, which line two sides of two brick walls. A grey tweed lounge set and low-down table add conversation, while an orange-inlet dome pendant and roaring fire bring in warmth. Red elements in a suede reading chair and cherry blossom blend in the colours.
Architect: Sergey Makhno   Photographer: Andrey Bezuglov   Industrial living rooms can hold colour. This concrete-walled décor sprawls a blue sofa and multi-coloured abstract across its length, as two yellow chairs say hello. A white rhinoceros head peeps over in stencil, referencing a white dining table and factory-style joinery. A wooden wheeled table and scattered toys add elements of play.
Visualizer: Sergiu Zboras   Make your view the feature. Concrete walls, wooden floors and soft grey furniture offer a perfect combo for looking out the window. As a simple wood and metal work desk offers a view outside, a rainbow abstract faces a cat and two tall hovering lamps.
Visualizer: Mihail Scherbak & Timothy Kalakutsky   Let your industrial living room be full of shapes. This room uses circles to form a bauble chandelier, standing lamp and bound-leather cubby chairs. Lines criss-cross the room in Venetian blinds, ceiling rafters, Scandinavian wooden shelving and carefully-placed speakers. Central rectangular shapes in the TV, cabinet, antique coffee table and rug complete the scene.
Visualizer: Nordes   The industrial can be eclectic. Factory-windowed and brick-walled, this living room exudes a beachy feel with simple wooden rafters and a block bookcase. Screws and pulleys introduce steampunk in the windows, dining table and space above the bookcase. Colourful and playful, the bright yellow TV crate, orange trash bin side table and Turkish rug add individualism.
Visualizer: Dattran   For a simple and classic look, add less colour and more detail. This seemingly-effortless living room relaxes a taupe couch under muted-pattern cushions. Two canvases in monochrome shades mast the space, as a rotunda pendant hangs at the same height. Stencil design cues creep over the side chair, coffee table legs and ornaments, as a similarly-stencilled window lights up the tree inside.
Visualizer: Tilt Pixel   Create a sense of luxury in the industrial style. This living room wows with high Californian-style windows and black and metal vintage lamps. Glossy quilted couches invite the guest in, as two maps behind speak of the exploring of yesteryear. Combined with a faded Turkish rug, glass decanters, wooden liquor crates and a steel corner bar, this lounge is the perfect venue for sharing old travel stories.
Source: Sklar Furnishings   Found an old, cavernous space to play in? This brick-arched gem is made modern via flashing lights. A standing lamp makes the first move, as numerous, steampunk-esque lighting lurks behind a robot traffic light. A collapsible leather sofa, factory crate coffee table, rough copper staircase and heater complete the look.
Designer: Houtwerk BV & Witteveen Architects   Light, bright and clean, this living room houses all the family. High-ceilinged brick is framed by spacious white ceilings, chiffon curtains and French-style windows. A metal indoor balcony and staircase make a strong stand over a red-hot racing car, while a wheeled glass coffee table and orange-and-black recliner add comfort with a difference.
Visualizer: Algis Raubiska   For something darker and more mysterious, this concrete living room has all the assets. A full row of train-station windows light up a rocking chair with fur throw, hinting at luxury. Cabled, rectangular bulbs form clusters over grey, wood and metal furniture, introducing the modern. A kitchen beckons with offerings of greenery.
Visualizer: Alexander Sadriano   Go for a living room in white and grey. Concrete walls, light-wooden floors and high factory windows meet wood and metal bookshelves and tables lining the walls. As a soft grey sofa relaxes underneath piping, an orange tree and leaning planter shelf lead to the dining room.
Visualizer: ArchiGraphics   The eclectic interior never looked more festive. Silver-painted concrete meets a ceiling covered with baubles, as golden, mounted plants and an array of artwork fill the walls. Dusky curtains let light onto a low-lying couch, Turkish rug and tea set, perfect for sharing spirituality. Metal elements in washed cans, a fan and window joinery keep it industrial.
Visualizer: Dimitar Karanikolov & Veneta Nikolova   Make a real feature of your brick wall. This industrial lounge inserts an eye-catching fire in the middle, as thick black bookcases and ceilings frame either side. Brown hues cover the rest of the space in a tan leather couch, roughshod dining table, copper industrial standing lamp and wooden bonsai pot.
Designer: MaRae Simone Interiors   Eclecticism takes on luxury in this industrial-style lounge. Mixing exposed brick, silver metal and glossy wood textures, a bevy of animal hides and a thick grey rug create cosiness. Metallics add pizzazz in circular hanging pendants, a pineapple-shape table and bending lamp, while human figures in a wall-hung painting and tribal statuettes remind this is a space for living.
Visualizer: Koj Design   Sleek and understated is the name of this lounge’s game. White and grey overlap between the doors and walls, while a seaside abstract, bauble chandelier and shagpile rug bring them together. A wooden chicken crate adds an industrial touch to surfaces smooth and clean.
Visualizer: Javier Wainstein   Use industrial elements to frame a statement painting. The exposed brick walls, factory windows and concrete walls of this living room afford enough clean space for a dramatic monochrome. Relaxed beige seating, photography equipment and a low wooden table expand the theme.
Designer: Dmitry Sheleg & Zrobym Architects   Copper is a beautiful, industrial-style accent. This living room uses it wisely, in a fireplace column mirroring the kitchen. Metallic canisters hang gracefully amidst a plethora of leads, as subtle beige seating and a roughshod roller table provide a place for rest. A leaning typographic has the final say.
Visualizer: Javier Wainstein   Industrial décor can lean towards the Scandinavian. A range of seating in wooden schoolyard chairs, a modern rocking chair and low taupe couch offer a range of perspectives on a large statement piece. Potted plants on a metal end table are lit by a Fortuny-style Floor Lamp.
Visualizer: Golovach Tatiana and Andrey Kot   If you’re lucky enough to have two storeys to play with, be inspired by this two-view living room. Looking towards the multi-coloured couch, metal sculptures wow over an indoor balcony. Glass extends from the factory windows through to the kitchen screen and table round, held steadily on two sanded tree stumps. Opposite from the on-the-couch view, full bookshelves take it up another level. Ladders to the library mirror those to the balcony, as an LED-stick chandelier reflects the balcony’s metal sculpture. A few bike patents, concrete walls and a crouching lamp tick more industrial boxes.
Visualizer: Golovach Tatiana and Andrey Kot
