17. What’s a movie you saw recently that you liked?

babes (2024)! actually funny story a friend of mine texted me and another friend of ours asking if we wanted to go with her to see this comedy about two women going through the hilarious ordeal of pregnancy and labor, not knowing that the second friend is actually currently pregnant and hadn't told her yet. so she, the second friend, watched the trailer and then texted me separately like "no offense to friend #1 but there is absolutely no way i want to see this movie while going through my first pregnancy." so i went with friend #1 (neither of us have ever been pregnant) and we had a grand old time lol.

69. What are you looking forward to next week?

tbh i haven't thought much about next week yet. according to math it will be the fourth of july, so i'll have a day off in the middle of the week. mostly i will be done with my extended catsitting stint and so am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed again 😩 the thing they don't tell you about adulthood (actually literally everyone told me about this i just didn't get it) is how attached you will become to your own pillow firmness and how much this will affect your quality of life when you have naught but other people's pillows on which to lay your poor little adult neck.

21. Last concert you attended?

i think it would have been one of my sister's shows, which i will not name to avoid doxxing myself. apparently she had another one the other day but i couldn't go :(( her shows are always such a fun time, they have a dedicated group of like teen/young adult fans who go absolutely wild for their shit and i like to see the youth have a good time. also just seeing how much she has grown as a person and an artist is really beautiful, and it's super special to me to be included in her life even though i am objectively her square older relative lmfaooo. but also i do just really like her music! so it's a great time all around, except when my mom is also there and keeps insisting on trying to have a conversation with me when we're standing next to the amp. girl if you make me take out my earplugs one more time...
