Hate tryna connect w clients over hobbies. I'll be like oh you read? Here's some books I've enjoyed lately, wbu? And they'll be like omg have u ever heard of Sara h. Maas or Colleen goober ????? And I'm like mm..... yeah. Okay we're not gonna connect on this topic. Do u enjoy movies and shows perhaps? Omg yes!! Do u watch stranger things or marvel??? Ah. Okay. Long shot here but maybe we can connect over anime or video games! Oh yeah I'm really big into roblox and *insert cringe tiddy anime here* right now ! And on and on it goes until I finally cave and pretend I enjoy some shitty thing they enjoy so we have something to talk about 😔

I'm so burnt out from it tho #and all of these are very real genuine examples I've had offered up to me recently #sarah j. maas by three different people!!!! like is it fucking 2014 again or what. can she fucking stop making books for a year or so???#god. anyways.
