#And intentionally misinterpreting what I was saying of course#besties I didn’t say dolphins don’t do things for fun what on earth are you two on about#me: the primary reason for animal migration is to follow resources#these weirdos: OH SO YOU THINK A DOLPHIN ONLY LIVE FOR FOOD NEVER HAVE FUN HUH YOU PUT HIM IN TINY BUCKET??#not at all what I was trying to say my point was that just because an animal is migratory doesn’t mean it needs 150k miles of enclosure#because an animal typically is not traveling that distance for fun#and there are other ways to keep an animal healthy and happy in a zoo setting#that aren’t just making infinitely larger enclosures#yes there are minimum requirements for enclosure size to properly keep the animal#no a dolphin does not need 100 square miles of deep water to be satisfied
