Chaitanya Bhagavata
My dear teacher Jma sent me this link to this nectarian audio book on Gaura Purnima 2022 (Lord Chaitanya's appearance day). Couldn't resist distributing the nectar!
I thought posting it would be a transcendental first post AND a good way to archive it incase the link becomes difficult to find online otherwise...

This song, "Yadi Prabhupada Na Hoito," beautifully composed by Jayapataka Swami Maharaj, pays heartfelt tribute to His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the beloved founder of ISKCON. Srila Prabhupada brought Lord Caitanya’s teachings to the West, sharing the grace of Lord Nityananda and spreading Lord Gauranga’s love across the world. Through his profound compassion, he taught the bliss of Harinaam, the joy of service, and guided millions on a spiritual path with his timeless wisdom. The video includes footage from Hare Krishna! The Mantra, the Movement, and the Swami Who Started It All (2017) by director John Griesser. For a deeper insight into Srila Prabhupada’s life and mission, watch this inspiring documentary. Credits Singer: Srijan Rishi Insta handle - srijan5228 English Lyrics: [Verse 1] If Srila Prabhupad had not come our way, What would have happened, how could we stay? Who else would share Lord Nityananda’s grace, And spread Gauranga’s love in every place? [Verse 2] Which compassionate soul would strive, To save the sinful, to help them thrive? Miscreants lost in void and mist, Who would reach out and help them exist? [chorus] If Srila Prabhupada had not been here,- What would have happened, tell me, my dear? Without his guidance, how would we find life, In a world so lost, full of struggle and fear? [Verse 3] Who else would come to share Harinaam’s bliss, Transforming our lives, we can’t miss this? Coming forward with love so grand, To guide them gently with a loving hand. [Verse 4] Who would teach to worship our lordships, Conducting Ratha-yatra and grand feast Who would have taught scriptures so clear Guiding on right path, with wisdom sincere [chorus] If Srila Prabhupada had not been here, What would have happened, tell me, my dear? Without his guidance, how would we find life, In a world so lost, filled with struggle and fear? [Verse 5] Who would endure the trials and strife, Distributing Harinama, giving us life? Granting us dhamas, Mayapur’s grace, Vrindavan, Jagannatha Puri’s embrace. [Verse 6] The teachings of Caitanya, a treasure so rare, Who else would engage us to practice and share? Engaging our hearts in the mission so true, Preaching the love that’s forever new. [Verse 7] Sri Nitai Gaura, desire trees of love, Jayapataka’s heart seeks mercy from above. Desiring a drop of mercy so sweet, In Your divine grace, our hearts feel complete. [chorus] If Srila Prabhupada had not been here, What would have happened, tell me, my dear? Without his guidance, how would we find life, In a world so lost, filled with struggle and fear? Thank you for joining us in honouring Srila Prabhupada's incredible legacy.

Exploring the Spiritual Heritage: Bangalore houses several famous historical and religious temples, here are four.
Introduction
One of the most popular cities of India having the nickname “Garden City”, Bangalore has always wound up being a progressive metro that harmonically fits the spirit of ancient traditions and innovations of the contemporary world. Famous for its beautiful parks, historical structures, and lively bazaars, Bangalore is one of those cities that is always heartening to tourists. Apart from being a hub of cultural and natural tourism, services apartments in Bangalore in the city are some of the best in the world for both short and long-term stays. The will help the target clients, such as business people, families, and tourists in Bangalore in offering well-furnished service apartments fully equipped with modern facilities and the atmosphere of a home. Be it visiting some of the famous temples, eating out or doing business and technology related activities in the IT corridors; Bangalore provides a fruitful and comfortable journey.
The capital of Karnataka enfolds in its sphere, not only, the technological giants and the pulsating life, but also the spiritual upper hand. Today, a visitor to the city can see a great many of temples that are different by their historical background, architectural appearance and religious importance. This therefore seeks to uncover four famous temples in Bangalore that could offer a perfect solitude from the busy life of Bangalore.
ISKCON Temple
Tumblr media
The ISKCON Temple, formally called Sri Radha Krishna Temple is easily one of the most significant spiritual and cultural attractions in Bangalore. Sprawling over 5 acres, dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara, this 1997 established temple is in Rajajinagar and is frequented by saints, believers, and tourists. Modern in architecture, the structure belongs to the neo-classical style of architecture with some of the characteristics typical of Hindu temples incorporated in the construction. It worships Radha-Krishna, Krishna Balarama, Nitai Gauranga and has a smoothed schedule of religious and cultural programs. Melodious bhajans and kirtans are sung here, and the whole feeling of the place is calming and filled with the kind of spirituality that gets one closer to their religion.
Bull Temple
Tumblr media
Located in Basavanagudi , the Bull Temple or Dodda Basavana Gudi is one of the oldest temples in Bangalore. This temple is absolutely devoted to the deity Nandi, the divine bull and mount of Lord Shiva and is a perfect example of Dravidian structure design. This temple has a humongous monolithic statue of Nandi which is about 15 feet in height and 20 fee in length. It is still believed up to date that the statue was built in order to propitiate a bull that was destructive to the crops. There are also fairs as the famous Kadalekai Parishe (the Groundnut Fair) that take place annually and gather thousands of devotees and visitors.
Banashankari Temple
Tumblr media
The Banashankari Temple situated in Banashankari locality of Bangalore is dedicated to Banashankari Amma, a form of Goddess Parvati. The temple which was constructed in 1915 by Somanna Shetty belongs to Dravidian style of architecture. They are special for evening poojas done with lamps and fire; the setting is rather enchanting and the atmosphere is divine. The black goddess is worshipped here by the devotees who arrive here in a large number to pray on Tuesdays, Fridays and during Rahukala to get rid of all problems and to attain prosperity and happiness.
Gavi Gangadhareshwara Temple
Tumblr media
Gavi Gangadhareshwara temple also known as Gavipuram Cave temple is one of the finest examples of rock-cut temple of Lord Shiva. It is considered having been constructed during the early Chola dynasty in the ninth century, the Gavipuram temple is in Bangalore. On this event the temple architecture draws the feature of mysticism where the sunlight falls on the Shiva Linga . These designs are unique carvings at the temple observant with monolithic sculptures, trident, and damaru. The serene and religious atmosphere of the cave adds to the powerfully spiritual feeling one gets inside temple.
Conclusion Measuring greatness in the characteristic way that Indian temples are known to is an essential clue to understanding Bangalore’s famous temples as not only places of prayer and worship but as historical structure and as the essence of Bangalore’s cultural and religious past. If you are a worshipper who wants to pray, or a lover of architectures willing to discover the history, these temples would be your perfect haven and learning from the crowded and noisy city life. A spiritual sojourn at these religious places does not only give them emotional satisfaction but also an experience of Bangalore’s age old cultural ethos.

Shri Mahesha Pandita disappearance day “He who was previously a very munificent cowherd boy has now appeared as Mahesha Pandita. In ecstatic love, he dances like a madman as though intoxicated to the beat of a kettle drum. [C.C. Adi 11.32] According to Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika, Mahesha Pandita was formerly Maha-Bahusakha in Krishna-lila. He was a companion of Nityananda Prabhu, and was present at the Danda Mahotsava held at Paninati. In Bhakti-Ratnakara, Taranga Nine, it is stated that when Narottama dasa Thakura came to visit Khardaha, he had darshana of the lotus feet of Mahesha Pandita. Vrindavana dasa Thakura has described him as a ‘param mahanta’ due to the fact that he was very dear to Nityananda Prabhu. [C.B. Antya 5.744] Mahesha Pandita’s original Sripat at Sukh Sagor merged into the bed of the Ganges, but his worshippable deities of Shri Shri Nitai-Gauranga as well as his samadhi were moved to Palpara. There is a railway station there, between Simrali and Cakdaha stations, on the Sealdah-Krishnanagar line. His disappearance day is on the thirteenth day of the bright fortnight in the month of Pausa. https://www.instagram.com/p/Cma1kOjo9Zw/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

''The Lord fulfills the desires of everyone just as one desires. Pure devotees are interested in achieving the transcendental service of the Lord, which is nondifferent from Him. Therefore, the Lord is the only desire of the pure devotees, and devotional service is the only spotless process for achieving His favor. Such devotional service is able to award the pure devotee the highest result, namely direct association with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Lord Kṛṣṇa.''

Quote
By Tamoharadasa (ACBSP) All Glories to Srila Prabhupada! _______________ It is only possible to deliver a conditioned jiva from Maya, By divine intervention of God. To a realm that is higher; Ecstatically deep and broad. An ocean of liquid love! In His mercy, to bring us there, He sent us Srila Prabhupada. Sri Krsna Caitanya desired to moisten the dried-up souls. To acheive it, He not only comes Himself, But Nitai-Balarama empowered Srila Prabhupada, To bountiful conceive it. A world encircling garland of prema-nama-sankirtana! All Glory to Lord Gaura Krsna! All Glory to Lord Sankarsana! The envious conditioned souls actually have no direct access to the Lord. But by His sweet will, just as the ambassador represents the king, The Guru is the personal embodied mercy of Lord Gaura. That person who would set the dove of his love of Krsna a-wing, Can do so, by the expanded mercy of Srila Prabhupada! You fortunate persons around the world, Just hear the words of Srila Prabhupada! His vibrations have the power to deliver you from all fears. Just take, just try! You will soon become freed from all false tears. Amazed, you will say, “He did not lie!” All Glories to Sri Jagad-guru, our Srila Prabhupada! Like Sri Nityananda delivers the Jagais and Madais of their envious curse, Who in turn help spread His mercy throughout the entire universe! Who is the original nitya-siddha founder-acarya of the society to deliver us back to God? Who gave us the sauce, chapter and verse? It is only you, Our Eternal Master, Srila Prabhupada! Prabhupada planted and maintains a mighty kalpavrksa tree of bhakti, In fact, a world-wide forest of wish-fullfilling trees! All the desires of the living entities are satisfied, Our devotional service fixed. Then Sri Krsna Caitanya Mahaprabhu is also satisfied. Let us nourish the roots with our leaves, And offer dandavats like sticks. All Glories to the Devotees of Srila Prabhupada! Sri Krsna Bless the servants of the servants of Prabhupada! Who chant and preach determinedly, despite obstacle or strife. For this is true charity, true knowledge, true yoga, true religion. By such service, the fallen find pure love and blissful spiritual reunion! They reawaken the soul of their life. Gurudeva leads us on to a place where Lord Gauranga dwells. No ordinary prema that! Our obeisances again and again! The Lord’s hair shorn, In a deep place by the Yamuna, In the house of Kasi Misra, Vipralambha and Sambhoga have a tug-of-war, Causing Lord Caitanya’s tears to well, His heart to bend, His love to soar, His hairs to stand on end! His beautiful reddish eyes… His amazement never ends, As He comprehends the heart of Radha, His blissful blackish form deeply hid beneath Her yellow-golden glow… How do even Western-born fools such as Tamoharadasa know? By the Unequalled Mercy of Srila Prabhupada! Tamoharadasa (ACBSP)
