throughout my many years of writing, i can conclude that writing out characters like these are always the most entertaining and fun, despite the fact that i'm the complete opposite haha

didn't have too many ideas so this one might be a little short, sorry about that!

niragi with a confident and snarky s/o

niragi initially had a very complicated relationship with you.

the constant way you would mouth off to him pissed him off. who did you think you were? nobody in their right mind would talk to a militant like that.

the only exception of this was chishiya, but the blond man definitely had a higher standing than you did.

on the other hand, he found your guts admirable. your confidence sparked up a strange feeling inside of him.

being around you excited him. you were a spitfire, he could never predict what you would say next.

it took you a while to warm up to him.

he never thought that he would willingly start pursuing somebody in the borderlands, but here he was.

it took him multiple tries to ask you out. every time he asked, the replies kept getting snarkier and snarkier.

the first time he ever tried, you looked him straight in the eyes and said, "i'm not sure what the hell is making me look available to you."

when you turned away, he swore he heard you mumble, "i'm going to change it."

despite it seeming impossible, he finally got you to say yes. did it take more than five tries? yes. was it worth it? hell yeah!

once you actually embrace him being your significant other, you two are a hell of a couple.

the loose canon niragi, and the loose-lipped y/n. who could make a better couple?

it's safe to say that people learn pretty quickly not to mess around with either of you.

if anybody says anything that comes off as aggressive towards you... not only will they receive crude words from you, but they will most definitely receive special treatment from niragi.

your confidence is something niragi eats up. he adores it and will totally brag about it to anybody who speaks to him.

the way you carry yourself, the way you articulate your words... he practically worships you.

you walk around like you own the place. you're not afraid to mouth off anybody at all, even if they have a higher standing than you.

your number on your bracelet is in the low hundreds, so it's a wonder that you have the courage to even think about doing it.

but you do, and he forever supports you in your actions.

his favorite is to see you make witty comments towards aguni and hatter.

the leader of the beach and the leader of the militants. both have high levels of respect from practically everyone at the resort.

except for you. it's not to say that you don't respect them—it's more like you just don't want to deal with the bullshit that leaves their mouths sometimes.

aguni's reactions never fails to make him laugh. he'll typically stare you down and not say anything in response, normally leaving the conversation with a simple sigh or roll of his eyes.

niragi hyping you up afterward only fuels your confidence.

combining the two of you together gives you the most confident duo in the beach. people look up to you, in a way. they want to have that level of confidence, and many wonder how you manage to do it.

he's definitely the affectionate one in the relationship.

you tend to spare your touch. of course you'll give him attention every once in a while, but you definitely don't dote on him like he does to you.

every now and then you'll have a day where all you want to do is show him affection. i promise you, he will give you every ounce of his attention so you can touch him and give him lots of love.

but, as mentioned, this doesn't happen often. more often than not, he's the one giving you all the attention. nobody is complaining though.

even if you're dating, you don't support him in everything he does.

because of your loud-mouth nature, you're not afraid to tell him off. if he does something you don't think is right, you will definitely let him know.

he calls it his own personal scolding, mostly because once you get started you won't shut up about it.

he actually loves when you criticize him though. it shows that you have a mind of your own and aren't quick to change yourself for anybody.

he likes your individuality. you have a personality that stands out to him, and that's the main reason he was so adamant about getting together with you.

overall...

did somebody say power couple? once you two get together, you're basically unstoppable.

he refuses to let anybody get in the way of what he has with you.

you guys have an equal dynamic. you both have your own importance in the relationship and you won't let anybody walk all over you.

to his own surprise, he really likes it that way.
