what console and/or game introduced you to gaming?

Technically it was a player vs player Bomberman clone called Playing with Fire 2 on those old flash game websites I‘d play at my parents workplace.

But as an actual game, it’s probably Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Wintergames 2010, the DS (read: better :P) version. There’s also Bomberman DS but that came just sliiiiightly later.

…it’s also how I became a hardcore sonic fan without ever playing a single game until 6 years later. Seriously younger me was obsessed with that hedgehog. Said flash game website also had that one popular Sonic Advance game which really didn’t help. Heck, I never played Sonic Unleashed and yet the main theme Endless Possibility is still incredibly nostalgic just because my favorite minigame (Dream Figure Skating) has like 15 seconds of a midi cover in it’s music, and it’s not even that good lmao (…it’s probably not even midi. Idk what format the DS is using for the sound actually but it sounds very retro-)

Alright- for the royalty au: Is each school a kingdom? If the captains are kings, what rank are other positions and how is the crown passed down? W-would a king fall for a commoner like me? -nintendou

I’ll use Karasuno as an example.

Ukai: Emperor, has ultimate rule over all of them. 

Takeda: Empress, basically. Works more in managing all of them.

Daichi: Yeah, he’s the king. He’s well, in charge. Looks over everyone, makes sure they're safe, following rules, etc.

Sugawara: The queen? Kinda? Not like a queen consort, but also not a co-ruler. Mostly in charge of managing the lower ranks.

Asahi: Advisor, but in the sense that he nurtures the kingdom? So he’s there when the other members of the kingdom need help. 

Kiyoko: Same as Asahi, but she focuses more on health? So she helps supervise the medical side of things.

Ennoshita: Next in line for the crown. The line of succession is determined at the beginning of the your second year, so Ennoshita knows he’s in line, but Yamaguchi doesn’t. He basically just functions as an advisor too? He’s basically a prince.

Nishinoya: Knight! All the second years are knights. Protector of the king and queen, of course, but mostly spends his time protecting Asahi.

Tanaka: Knight! Protector of the king and queen, of course, but mostly spends his time protecting Ennoshita.

Narita: Knight! Protector of the king and queen, of course, but mostly spends his time protecting Sugawara.

Kinnoshita: Knight! Protector of the king and queen, of course, but mostly spends his time protecting Kiyoko. (and yachi!!)

Hinata: Apprentice of Asahi. All the first years are apprentices of the third year’s role they’ll eventually inherit. The second year is just for experience.

Kageyama: Apprentice of Sugawara.

Yamaguchi: Apprentice of Ennoshita.

Yachi: Apprentice of Kiyoko.

Tsukishima: Apprentice of Bokuto, actually. On an exchange program, it's a great honor. 

Of course, for a royalty!au in general, this doesn’t have to be 100% correct. Tsukishima could be a king, or Nishinoya a queen. Doesn’t matter. But this is just my take on stuff?

You do realize GF lost morale during the development of SS and they only had about 200 people on the team right?

I'm starting to believe these asks are not very sincere and is just someone wanting me to rant about gamefreak. Like I have serious doubts anyone who has a problem with my feelings toward Gamefreak would still be following me at this point, and it's not like i'me ever talking about SS on my own anymore.

Either way it's not new information and it doesn't change how I feel.

But I'll humor you. Low morality is pretty normal for a company that reveals their product and it gets a poor reception. You're supposed to use that early reception to actually improve the product. Not wallow in self pity and change nothing. But Nintendo in general seem to have a "fuck our fans" outlook where not only do they ignore bad reception, they double down on their decisions and really dig their heels in. Fuck them. They are not my friends they are not your friends, and i'm sure that their "low morale" is definitely soothed by the mounds of cash they sleep on at night from every thing they release breaking sales records.

As for the Small staff, that sounds like their problem. A problem that they could solve but choose not to. I wonder if that has anything to do with wanting less people to pay. Then again, maybe the size of the staff isn't the problem so much as it is the lack of passion or talent. Or, maybe they are perfectly capable but the capitalistic ever-producing machine that pokemon has become won't allow for them to simple take their time and polish their products, in which case it sounds like a problem on the part of the higher ups and they should take it up with them or walk out. I'm sure they could easily find work elsewhere given "I worked on pokemon" probably looks really good on a resume. In either case, not my problemo.

I don't know what your intentions anon weather you're baiting rants or this really is some kind of tumblr/twitter brain worm that causes one to think one has to treat strangers who make video games like friends and family. But either way I'm going to start blocking for ridiculous asks like this. It's been 3 years and i'm not going to suddenly think Sword and Shield was a good game that deserves my money. Maybe if they add the last bit of the Nat Dex as DLC I'll buy it just so my 3DS pokemon don't get stranded there, but it would simply be a means to house my pokemon in light of a nintend-induced disaster, and not because I think it could be fun to play.

Besides all this I've clearly moved on from my grudge with Gamefreak since I'm playing Pokemon Legends Arceus and i'm willing to buy pokemon games again..... if they look fun. Gen 9 is due to be announced really soon, if not this year than likely next year. So why can't you move on and let people not like the game?

I give you MSBY but I rate how good they are as a one night stand (in my opinion):

Atsumu 8/10; he's really good, but I feel like he would accidentally pull my hair or smack me too hard. I'd still text him back though

Sakusa 6/10; he looks really yummy but... would he prep me? would he get me off? He would probably leave after coming and cleaning himself up.

Bokuto 7/10; very filling, I'd love to praise his body. I'm only scared one of us would get feelings and I'll hurt us both.

Hinata 10/10; listen I just think he would best cater everything I want. He's the one I'd go to to try almost anything cause I think he'd be down for it. I trust him enough that he wouldn't do anything I wouldn't like and he'd do the same. I would actually save his number with his name.

Atsumu: 7/10. Seems like he tries too hard not to catch feelings so it's really detached. Tries way too hard to be cool, too. Just fuck me and leave, idiot. Would text him again though, the dick was probably pretty good.

Sakusa: 5/10. Probably wouldn't make me cum. Probably wouldn't say anything, either. I get insecure without feedback so like... yeah. Never again.

Bokuto: 8/10. Is just so wild. Loves people. Likes sex. Generally a good fuck. He would be really rough though. Idk how much I want that.

Hinata: 10/10. He just seems so sexual? And just so down to have sex. Like, all the time. I have a wild sex drive so it'd just be really nice. And catching feelings for him would legitimately be wonderful.
