#citra emulator#rip citra#rip yuzu#nintendo really does suck more often than i'd like#if it were only yuzu i wouldn't have been too worried since it's a current system and maybe switch emulators would survive in the future#but seeing such a cool 3ds emulator get caught in the crossfire really does sting (even if again i never got to really use it)#yuzu emulator#emulation#curse you leakers#yeah i know i was recently all but praying for leakers to save coyote vs acme (rip that movie too)#but that's a very different type of leaker than the hacks spoiling everything for people long before the game's out#and now screwing over the emulation devs who didn't have anything bad in mind#of course nintendo's not punishing the hackers but rather the emulation devs due to their hate crush for quality emulation and accessabilit#guess it may be a lot longer before i get to see more of star allies in 60fps#ughhhh

I really, really want to be excited about Luigi's Mansion 2 HD. I loved the original game and it was one of the first games that truly made me fall in love with console/handheld gaming. But I'm sorry. No extra content? A basic upscale that looks really bad next to Luigi's Mansion 3? $60 when the original never cost more $40??? This isn't a worthy port, this is a literal joke! This is looking like THE definitive example of a lazy, overpriced Nintendo rerelease. At least Skyward Sword HD had some quality of life and control improvements!
Yeah, if I ever do get this one, only on a huge sale. As a huge fan of the 3DS, I really hope whatever 3DS rereleases follow only go up from here, because especially compared to how good the Thousand-Year Door remake is looking (which I'm not even sure if that's fully worth $60, and last year's SMRPG remake definitely wasn't), this is just looking more and more like a total embarrassment.
