I haven't been in the Ninjago fandom since before Crystalized, but no one can tell me(until canon explains it) the reason Jay has lost his memory in Dragons Rising is that someone who's friends with Jay ended up freeing Nadakhan from the Teapot of Tyrahn, and wished he wasn't in pain from his memories, or something like that.

It would be so fitting, the only one who remembers Skybound in full losing his memories of not just that, but most other things too! Plus, it would explain why we haven't heard ANYTHING about either the teapot, or a famous pirate captain being back. He's been back a while, and the only person who would know his full crimes can't even remember his full family, let alone all the trauma he got from this one djinn.

but what if zane was the best at reading poker faces or whenever people were telling lies. mainly because he can literally just scan them and sense if there's a increased heartbeat or whatever and know and this is why he's banned from playing cards with them.

Ninjago Season Time Skip Headcanon

Pilots to Season 1: 6-11 months

Season 1 to Season 2: A few days to a week

Season 2 to Rebooted: At least three years

Rebooted to Tournament of Elements: Several months to a year

Tournament of Elements to Possession: Around 2-4 months

Possession to Skybound: A few weeks to a month

Skybound to Day of the Departed: 6-7 months

Day of the Departed to Hands of Time: 1-3 days to almost a week

These are the stuff that I just sort of notice during the show and some of it was based on the airdate like the pilots, Rebooted, Skybound, and DotD. Usually, I use it as a guide when I write stories. I plan on making a visual calendar to show the show's passage of time. All in all, it adds to almost 7 years.

Nya/Kai Sibling Headcanons

–Whenever they would have nightmares as kids, they’d crawl into the other’s bed and spend the night with them. They still do it occasionally. –They like training/sparring together; Kai has a habit of going a little easier on his sister, which she always notices –Whenever Kai got hurt as a child, Nya would always "kiss his boo-boos better". She still does it sometimes, but not always for injuries. She likes giving Kai affectionate little sisterly kisses on the forehead or cheek, usually to tease him or calm him down. –Nya tends to stay up later than she should-usually working on some project of hers or stuck with insomnia-and as a result dozes off wherever she's at. Kai's sleeping habits are worse than hers, though, and he tends to stay up later than her–he makes a habit out of carrying her to bed whenever she falls asleep somewhere else.

Ninjago Appearance Headcanons

Just my take on the Ninjago characters. Kai: -Brown/darker tan skin -Amber eyes -Kind of average height (I'm not good with measurements sorry) -Filipino? Jay: -Pale af -Electric blue eyes -F r e c k l e s -Just a lil short -Actually kind of skinny/scrawny-looking? He just looks that way compared to the other ninja, definitely has muscle though Cole: -Dark skin -Brown eyes -Muscular and stocky af -Slightly taller Zane -Still a titanium robot -Human Zane is pretty pale tho -Ice-blue eyes -Tallest of the Ninja Lloyd -Fair-skinned -Striking green eyes -Mixed Asian/White (he can get kind of insecure about it) -Short boi Nya -Lighter-skinned, but kind of tan?? -Dark blue or brown eyes -Average height, but a little shorter than Kai Bonus: Skylor -Dark/brown skin -Brown/amber eyes -What if she was taller than Kai and he gets embarrassed about it? Headcanon that Nya is really shy/insecure about her body and showing it off; she wants to, but she just can't find the confidence. Jay is helping her though, and she likes to think his compliments and encouragement are helping her. Bonus: Skylor is the complete opposite and Kai lOVES it

Kai: -He gives zero craps, he'll -Protective af; if anyone says or does anything bad to you they'll get a flaming fist to the face -Likes kisses straight on the lips, and that's often where he'll kiss you -You're usually one of the only people who can calm him when he gets pissed -If you fight, he'll definitely be steaming mad at first, but he'll try to cool down quickly out of fear of losing you Jay: -Loves attention; if he isn't the center of your attention for a while he'll try to make himself that -Likes physical contact; he'll always be holding your hand or have his arm around you -Really protective of you, and gets nervous when you're around other guys -Always up for a little PDA ;) -If the two of you fight, he'll come crawling back almost immediately because he's so incredibly clingy -You bet he likes to annoy you with terrible cheesy puns Cole: -Not big on PDA; prefers to do that stuff in private -He's really protective; if anyone so much as looks at you the wrong way, he'll get pissed -You're usually one of the only people who can calm him down when he gets mad -If you two fight, just give him some time to chill and you'll make up soon enough -Although it may not seem like it, he's clingy as crap Zane: -Never one for PDA or intense making out -He'll usually kiss you on the cheek, since it's simple yet loving; he won't kiss you on the lips unless it's a really heartfelt moment -Very affectionate and a little clingy; he likes spending time with you and, though he's calm and collected, he won't hesitate to protect you if necessary -You'll never have to worry about fighting with him; he's too level-headed and mellow (and scared of losing you) Lloyd: -He secretly loves attention from you, but he'll never admit it -Isn't one for really intense PDA, but doesn't mind a kiss or two in public ;) -Likes to be kissed on either the cheek or the lips, and that's where he'll kiss you -If you two fight, he'll usually need some time to cool down (a few days max) but he always comes around.
