I don't think I can stress enough just how important that I think it is that Kai says the line he does. I get that all of the Ninja don't want Lloyd to lose his childhood, but I feel like it just hits extra for Kai. Especially now that we know Kai's backstory...He doesn't want Lloyd to lose his childhood like he did, even if its in different way. He wants Lloyd to have the chance to be a kid, and I think he hates the fact that Lloyd didn't get that chance either.
