How Can Smart Wrapping Solutions Save You Money?
No more oversized boxes for tiny items. No more excess padding. No more headaches. Just smart, snug, cost-saving wrapping.
When was the last time you thought about wrapping as a game-changer for your business? Not recently? Well, it turns out that what you wrap, how you wrap it, and how much you wrap can impact more than just what arrives at your customer’s doorstep. It can shape the destiny of your bank account. Seriously.
Think Outside the Box with Smart Packaging
Wrapping isn’t just the paper and tape combo your grandparents used at holiday time. It's a business move. And when you consider Contract Packaging, the potential for efficiency and savings expands even further. Done right? It’s a money-saving, problem-preventing, world-improving ninja move. Yes, ninja. Because smart wrapping solutions are stealthy. You barely notice them—but they protect your bottom line.
The Hidden Cash in Your Packaging
If your wrapping looks like it’s been through a blender, you're not just risking your product's safety—you’re shredding your profits too. Here’s the harsh truth:
Damaged goods mean angry customers, returns, and refunds. Ouch.
Overwrapping wastes materials and inflates your costs.
Shipping chaos happens when your package is too bulky, too heavy, or just plain wrong. And guess what? That means you’re paying extra to ship air.
It’s not just about keeping the product pretty. It’s about keeping your money where it belongs—inside your business.
The Magic of Right-Sizing
Here’s the secret sauce: right-sized packaging. What does that mean? It’s packaging that fits your product like a glove. Not a mitten, not a snow boot—a glove. By using packaging that’s exactly the right size, you cut down on waste and boost efficiency.
The Benefits:
Less material = less cost.
Smaller package = lower shipping fees.
Happy customers = fewer returns.
Stretch It Thin, Not Your Wallet
Enter stretch film—your new best friend. This isn’t just plastic wrap; this is magic. It’s tough, it’s flexible, and it sticks everything together like a boss. Stretch film keeps products secure with less material, minimizing movement and damage in transit. You use less, but it protects more.
Shrink wrap? That’s your second-in-command. It hugs your product like it's a beloved treasure, keeping it intact while reducing bulk. When your wrapping is tight, your savings are tighter.
Automated Wrapping - The Future is Now
Automation has changed the game. Forget manually wrapping things until your hands ache. Automated systems do it faster, cleaner, and with precision. They're like the Jedi masters of wrapping.
Here’s why it matters:
Speed: The machine doesn’t tire.
Consistency: Every package looks professional.
Efficiency: Less material. Less waste.
Invest in automation, and you’ll see the savings stack up.
Less Damage, More Profit
Let’s face it. The world can be a brutal place for packages. Trucks, planes, conveyor belts—it’s like the obstacle course from your worst gym class memories. Smart wrapping is your armor. It shields your product from the elements, mishaps, and Murphy’s Law.
The fewer damaged goods you have, the fewer returns you deal with. And returns? They’re expensive. Not only do you lose the sale, but you also lose the trust of your customer. A secure wrap means a secure profit.
Money-Saving Checklist for Smart Wrapping Solutions
Want to make sure you’re not leaving money on the table (or in the wrapping station)? Here's a quick guide:
Use right-sized packaging: Ditch the oversized boxes.
Opt for stretch and shrink wraps: Less material, more protection.
Automate your wrapping: Invest in efficiency and consistency.
Reduce damage: Protect your goods, protect your profits.
Optimize shipping: Ship small, save big.
Go green: Save the planet, save money.
Conclusion
At the end of the day, smart wrapping isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about strategy. It’s about saving money without cutting corners. It’s about protecting your products and your profits.
And it’s about making sure every package that leaves your warehouse arrives safe, sound, and cost-efficient. That’s where options like Plastic Tube Packaging come in, giving you the durability you need without breaking the bank.
So, next time you’re in the packaging room, ask yourself: “Am I wrapping smart?” If the answer’s no, it’s time to rethink your strategy.
Because when you wrap smart, you don’t just save material—you save money, time, and maybe even the planet.
Who knew a little stretch film could go such a long way?

Another Taito Arcade Archives Sale Starts Today, Celebrating Darius Day
Tumblr media
It seems like people appreciated the heads-up last time, so let's do this again. Hamster and Taito are having another sale on some Arcade Archives games for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, this time using Darius Day as an excuse. Don't worry, even if you don't observe that holiday you can enjoy these savings. It's ten games again, and this time it's a 50% off sale. If you're in the United States, that means these are just $3.99 each. Wow! That's a nice deal. Reminder: Arcade Archives releases rarely go on sale more than once, so if you don't buy them now the odds are good you'll never see them this cheap again. Let's look at the included games this time.
Darius (Also Seen In Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade)
Tumblr media
The reason for the season, Darius kicks off Taito's most successful and prolific venture into the horizontal shoot 'em up genre. Well-known for its ultra-wide display and distinctive sea life-inspired enemies, Darius remains an enjoyable and challenging shooter to this day. Note this version is slightly different in terms of options and features compared to the one included in the M2-developed Cozmic Collection.
Darius II (Also Seen In Darius Cozmic Collection Arcade & Taito Milestones 2)
Tumblr media
The sequel to Darius, sometimes known as Sagaia, delivers another heaping helping of intense shooting action. This version allows you to play the ultra-wide three-screen version of the game, setting it apart from the one found in the Cozmic Collection. More cool shooting action for those who appreciate that sort of dish. I always wanted a thing called tuna sashimi!
Megablast
Tumblr media
Another horizontal shooter, this one somewhat lesser known than Darius. Megablast came out in 1989 and its main gimmick is that you start with four options surrounding your ship, giving you quite a bit of initial fire power. Each one can be powered up by collecting orbs, and you can eventually get quite the waves of death going in every direction. The enemies come at you just as hard, though. A little zany and not incredibly well-balanced, but amusing enough.
The Legend of Kage (Also Seen In Taito Milestones 2)
Tumblr media
Look, some of these have nothing to do with Darius. Not much to be done about that. This is Taito's famous game about a ninja that can pretty much jump over trees in a single bound. Fling shuriken in every direction, use your sword to deflect attacks and make in-close kills, and rescue the princess until she's kidnapped again. Fight, Kage! For everlasting peace!
Sea Fighter Poseidon
Tumblr media
This is another horizontal shooter, but it's a quirky one. Released in 1984, Sea Fighter Poseidon sees you riding an undersea sled of sorts, firing torpedoes at enemies and picking up hostages. Your sled has limited fuel, and the only way to get more is to pick off an enemy sledder without destroying their craft. You can then eject from your sled and steal theirs. That's nifty. It has that early Taito feel to it, and I always appreciate that.
High Way Race
Tumblr media
A 1984 vertical driving game that calls to mind things like Bump 'n Jump or Spy Hunter. You need to drive as far as you can on your tank of fuel, avoiding traffic and other obstacles as you go. You can brake, and you can jump. When you reach the end of each course, you'll need to do both of those to finish it. You'll have to refuel along the way by sidling up to a fuel truck. Any collisions will cost you a bit of your tank, and once it's empty you're done. A little clunky, but decent enough.
Space Cruiser
Tumblr media
Here's the old man of today's line-up. Initially released in 1981, Space Cruiser is a very early vertical shooter. Battle UFOs, survive asteroid attacks, dock your ship at a station to resupply, then take the fight to the alien's base. Quite a few phases for a game of its era, and if you're okay with slower-paced Galaxian-style affairs you'll probably like this a fair bit. Some real ambition on display here for a game of this type and era.
Space Seeker (Also Seen In Taito Milestones)
Tumblr media
Speaking of ambitious space shooter games from 1981, here's Space Seeker. It's a bit involved! Guide your ship on the map to intercept enemy attacks. Red dots will bring you into a first-person view where you'll have to shoot the enemies down, while the bigger icons will have you going through a Scramble-style side-scrolling shooter stage. This is a very compelling game, especially if you have a taste for oddballs.
Water Ski
Tumblr media
Similar to Alpine Ski, this is a sports-based vertically-scrolling action game. Move around behind the boat, try to score points, and avoid obstacles. A simple game by design, but one that evokes that early 1980s arcade feeling very well. If you like that, you'll enjoy this. If you don't, you might find this a little too primitive and limited.
Wild Western (Also Seen In Taito Milestones)
Tumblr media
Another vertically-scrolling game from Taito's early years. Stop robbers who are trying to highjack trains, and then test your shooting skills in bonus rounds between stages. A 1982 game that feels it in every single way. Just like with Water Ski, if you like that simpler era, you'll enjoy this. And if you don't, then you almost certainly won't.

Break Thru
Developed/Published by: Data East Released: 1986 Completed: 18/04/2023 Completion: Got to the end by feeding credits. Version Played: Retro Classix / MAME Trophies / Achievements: n/a
Stop! Before you read this, you should know that you can only order a physical exp. 2601 from my ko-fi shop until May 1st! Remember, as a subscriber, you get 35% off instantly!
You may have seen recently that the “Retro Classix” line of Data East re-issues, available on GOG and Steam, are being delisted at the end of April, and wondered “should I get those before they’re gone?” Well, I’m here to answer this, because I took a cursory look at them, downloaded the one that I think is earliest in the Data East chronology (Express Raider might be earlier?) and gave it a shot.
No. You don’t want to get any of them. Break Thru is probably the worst retro release I’ve ever played! To be clear, I’m not talking about the quality of the original game (which I’ll get to–it’s no great shakes, but it’s not the worst I’ve ever played) but the release, which is bare-bones to the extreme. Buy this and you get the arcade rom… and a 3D arcade wrapper that makes it feel like you’re playing it in Grand Theft Auto 3. You can, thankfully, turn that off, but what you can’t turn off is terrible smeary graphic smoothing, and you–at best–have to mitigate it by also using the included CRT filter. Now, I’m not a fan of “perfect pixel”–I prefer even a weak attempt at a CRT filter, usually–but the one here is nasty (maybe even worse than the Astro City Mini) with horrible curvature and a general dullness.
And that’s… it. There’s no save states, no dip switches or settings, nothing else. You'd be better off being handed a zip file with the rom in it.
I’m not entirely sure of the provenance of this series of Data East reissues. Before the Retro Classix line these were all included in the similarly weird “Johnny Turbo’s Arcade” series for Nintendo Switch, which all seem to have been yanked from the eShop at the end of October 2023 (which is after the Retro Classix versions were put on sale.)  I assume that whoever has the Data East rights has been selling them off cheaply but with limited and non-exclusive rights, which is why you get things as tossed off as this, but it’s interesting to note that the Johnny Turbo’s Arcade releases managed to have better graphical options and save states, so they at least did the bare minimum.
(Though it gets odder. The Retro Classix versions were also on sale on Switch until November 2023, from the same publisher as the Johnny Turbo’s Arcade series, “Golem Entertainment” though they all have the same crappy emulator wrapper as this release, even though the at least slightly better Johnny Turbo’s Arcade versions were already there. Confusing!)
Anyway. You now know to let the Retro Classix line go off gently into that good night in the hope that the next suckers to buy a job lot of Data East releases goes to the effort of putting them out nicely (I’m looking at you, Digital Eclipse). But should you play Break Thru anyway? The answer to that is… also no!
Gradius was released in early 1985 and set the benchmark, and this doesn’t even reach the lofty heights of Sega Ninja. A side-scrolling shooter with five levels, the “twist” here is that you’re driving a car, though the stand-out thing about the car is that it does two things that cars don’t normally do: it shoots bullets and it can jump, awkwardly, into the air. The latter quirk is supposed to be the highlight–as you now have to leap over obstacles, and can even leap to land your car on enemies and squash them.
There’s one power-up (a three way shot that’s generally on a timer, but sometimes it isn’t) and a small number of enemies. Shockingly, there are no bosses.
The thing about Break Thru, really, is that it… sucks. There’s little to no variety, the enemies don’t do anything much (only a few have interesting attack patterns) and the controls feels so bad that I actually had to test this release against the MAME release just to make sure the emulation wasn’t fucked up here. I mean, to be fair, the emulation could be fucked up on MAME as well, but the car in Break Thru controls horribly. You can speed up, but it feels like it makes everything on the screen speed up, and there’s no sense of friction. You get the idea–that you’re supposed to speed up to dodge bullets or enemies–but it just doesn’t seem to work.
In fact, once you know the levels, the majority of Break Thru is absolutely trivial, with the only speed bumps the few enemies that you only seem to survive randomly. There’s a helicopter that I couldn’t kill that you just need to be lucky to leap past, and a gauntlet of small tanks in the final level that almost goes full bullet hell.
I guess there’s actually a wee animation at the end to make this feel worth beating, but without a final boss or anything it feels wildly anti-climactic. Everything about this, really, is just very, very bad.
Will I ever play it again? If there really is a Digital Eclipse Data East collection I’ll boot it up… once.
Final Thought: Something else a bit strange: there were 17 Johnny Turbo’s Arcade releases, but only 12 “Retro Classix” releases, which is why I picked up Break Thru and not Shoot Out (I think the earliest of the Johnny Turbo releases.) I have spent too long thinking about this!!!
Hi. Thank you so much for being a supporter. I'd like to ask you for one more favour--could you check out the fundraiser my best friend Steven is running to help cover travel insurance costs? I know there are so many deserving causes, but Steven has a stage 4 brain tumour and it would mean the world to me if you considered donating, or sharing his page, to help make his remaining time the best ever.

Another dream to journal, but this one definitely ended up in nightmare territory. This one is also going to take some effort to try and make sense of it.
It started out reasonably. I was on an extended vacation with my girlfriend at a remote fishing village, sort of similar to one I would occasionally visit when I was a kid. While it was sparsely populated, we would still see people since there were shared amenities, and the lodgings weren't really private so people were constantly passing through our living space. To combat the fact that being around people this often would drain me emotionally, and the lack of privacy, I had access to an ultralight plane. I would use it to go somewhere me and my girlfriend could be alone, and also to just explore and see the incredible sights around us.
At one point, I was at a card game tournament at a convention. And it was an especially weird one at that, because the deck formats were Magic the Gathering based, but the cards were Pokemon and Digimon. And somehow, I ended up in the last round I was to play in with my sister. And we were not having a good time. We were both sniping at each other like we did when we were much younger and actively hated each other. Eventually I point out that she is very much acting like she did when she was a preteen. And then she fires back that she's only acting that way because I'm acting like a child. And then at that point, I forfeit the tournament because I want nothing to do with her anymore.
I then go back to where I have been living during this vacation, and find out that most everyone has ended up at a new (and hastily constructed) activity centre. Think Ninja Warrior, but shitty and you should be in the right ballpark. As I observe people trying to test themselves against the various obstacles, it starts falling apart. I go to help someone who has fallen a considerable distance, and been partially buried by the wreckage. I find out there that the whole thing is being run by a former employer of mine, and they take over rescue efforts. In doing so, it turns out that the paperwork for my quitting never got properly filed, and since I'm helping them with something they were already doing I might as well just come back to work.
I look down at myself and even see that I am even wearing the uniform, so I can't really protest the idea. To give some amount of context, this job was sales in the electronics department (among others, which is part of why I left IRL) of a department store. Nominally, I was supposed to handle customer service for a specific set of products, but the practicalities of every electronics store in the 21st century meant that actually I was meant to sell cell phones and contracts. And so I then find myself doing that, as I had in 2017 when I first had the job.
After a shift, I find that my girlfriend has taken to self soothing as the lack of privacy and now the time apart because of the job have been getting to her. She's doing one thing on her phone, and listening to music on mine. But owing to a number of circumstances, my phone is acting odd. I try and fix it, but realize that it has been partially disassembled. I emphasize that we both need to be careful with it as I can't afford a new one. When I get to the final steps of putting it back together, I see that the glass back has been shattered into pieces. Not just cracked, but fully pulverized into discreet, razor sharp chunks. And now, given that my phone no longer has a large part of its structure, and is no longer sealed from dust and the elements, my phone is effectively bricked.
I go back to work to see what temporary replacements are to be had, but find no one there. This is not that out there, as one of the many reasons I quit that job was because for long periods I was frequently the only person working in 4(!) different departments and had to cover all of them. As I'm looking to see if there is anybody minding the store, I see that in the A/V department, there is something else playing other than the usual sports replays or nature documentaries on the TVs. It's a deeply strange and surreal softcore porn that appears to be loosely based on a sketch from In Living Color. After that weirdness, since there is no one to activate a cheap phone for me I leave.
As I return back to my lodgings, I hear my girlfriends phone go off. Somehow my mom has gotten her number, and she is actually close enough that I can hear both sides of the conversation. For reasons I don't feel like getting into, I have been putting off my mom meeting my girlfriend for a long time. So the idea that this meeting is going to happen fills me with dread. After a brief initial contact, it is decided that we're going to meet up with some other people at a cafe nearby.
This is where things start to go from being deeply unpleasant to outright horrifying. We meet up, and I talk about the weirdness at my place of work as an anecdote. And then one of the people there not so subtly points out that he was an actor in that particular video, signalling that it was him that made the TVs all play it. I'm very angry at the fact that he hacked our TVs and did so to satisfy a exhibitionist kink that no one even had the chance to consent to, but there's nothing to be done about it so I try and change the subject. Another person present then decides to try and one-up the person who did the video, and does some ill considered acrobatics that go horribly awry. They slam the back of their head on the railing of the short fence around the outdoor part of the cafe, and do so so hard that it's now embedded partway into their skull. As they begin to bleed out, they shout in a final act of...something "This. Proves. NOTHING." before they die of massive brain trauma and hemorrhaging.
Instead of being horrified or trying to get help, everyone around me finds this absolutely hilarious. Everyone then takes turns trying to get the bar the no dead person hit their head on to fully come out the other side, bisecting their skull. I try talking to an old man outside the group of people I'm with. He nods silently, produces a shotgun, sticks it in his mouth and blows his brains out. As I turn back to see if *anybody* is reacting to all of this disturbing violence happening around me, I see one of the people I came with has gotten bored and is now playing Guitar Hero.
At this point I basically go catatonic. Nothing makes sense, nobody is acting sane, and I clearly cannot meaningfully change anything. Eventually after sitting in this abattoir of madness for a time, I finally wake up.
Really don't know what to make of any of this. But this does outline the kind of tone my dreams used to have before I changed my meds and started dreaming much more frequently. As I have said elsewhere, my subconscious is not a pleasant place.

Imagine a world where every sales pitch is like a thrilling story, building up to an epic finale—the closing of a deal. It's not just about making a sale; it's the grand moment when all your hard work pays off and success is in your grasp.
But here's the plot twist: this journey is filled with unexpected obstacles that can turn your success story into a cliffhanger. Issues like misunderstandings, unanswered concerns, and not quite hitting the mark with your customers can throw a curveball into your sales adventure.
In this post, we're going to be your scriptwriters, helping you navigate these twists and turns. We'll unravel the secrets of closing deals and show you how to overcome the hurdles that stand between you and that triumphant 'closed deal' moment.
So, get ready for a sales journey like no other—full of suspense, challenges, and, of course, the sweet taste of success at the end.
The Sales Adventure: Overcoming Common Challenges!
Tumblr media
Alright, picture this: you're on a quest to seal the deal, but guess what? There are dragons on this sales journey, and they go by the names of Misaligned Expectations, Objection Overload, Trust Deficit, Negotiation Gridlock, and Poor Timing. Yep, these are the tricky hurdles that can make or break a sales adventure.
Let’s understand them!
Misaligned Expectations: Ever played a game where everyone's on a different page? That's what happens when what you're selling doesn’t match what your buyer wants. Clear communication is your sword and shield here.
Objection Overload: Imagine you're almost there, and suddenly, a bunch of concerns pop up – from the price being too high to doubts about your product. You need a strategy to slay these objections and keep your quest alive.
Trust Deficit: Trust is like a treasure; once you lose it, it's hard to get back. Building trust is essential because, without it, your potential client might think you're just another dragon in disguise.
Negotiation Gridlock: Negotiation is like a duel, and sometimes, you hit a standstill. Knowing when to dodge and when to strike is crucial to navigate through these tight spots and emerge victorious.
Poor Timing: In this adventure, timing is your secret weapon. Rushing might scare off your prey, and lingering too long might make them vanish. Mastering the art of perfect timing is your key to winning the game.
So, gear up, brave sales warrior! The adventure begins, and with the right moves, you can conquer these challenges and emerge as the hero of the sales realm. Are you ready to embark on this thrilling quest?
Cracking the Sales Code: Your Guide for Common Challenges
Tumblr media
So, you've stepped into the world of sales – a bit like entering a mysterious maze. But fear not, this guide is your trusty map, illuminating the path through the challenges that frequently crop up during the deal-closing process. Let's unravel the mysteries and equip you with the strategies to conquer these hurdles:
Become a Listening Ninja
In the realm of successful sales, mastering the art of active listening is akin to becoming a stealthy ninja. Imagine yourself as the ninja of understanding, silently observing and grasping every nuance of your customer's wishes and needs. Before you make your move, before you unveil your sales arsenal, listen with intent, ensuring that your pitch aligns seamlessly with the unique desires of your prospect.
2. Objections? Face them Head-On
Picture objections as formidable dragons guarding the treasure trove of successful deals. Instead of running away in fear, summon your courage and face these dragons head-on. Equip yourself with the knowledge of common objections, stand firm, and with unwavering confidence, turn these once-daunting objections into valuable allies, propelling your journey towards a triumphant close.
3. Friendship over Transactions
Sales are about forging genuine connections that extend beyond the confines of a single deal. Envision each sale as the initiation of a lasting friendship, where your investment in building authentic connections becomes the cornerstone of loyalty and repeat business. Take the time to understand not just the immediate needs but the long-term aspirations of your customer, nurturing relationships that stand the test of time.
4. Adapt Like a Chameleon
The art of sales is reminiscent of the chameleon's ability to change colours based on its surroundings. Channel your inner chameleon by embracing adaptability as a superpower. Recognise that each customer is unique, with distinct preferences and communication styles. Be flexible in your approach, adjusting your strategies to align with the individuality of each prospect seamlessly. Through adaptability, you'll find yourself effortlessly blending into success in the diverse sales landscape.
5. Time it Right, Sales Samurai
Imagine yourself as a skilled sales samurai, poised with precision and wisdom. In the dynamic dance of sales, timing emerges as your mighty katana, capable of cutting through hesitation and seizing the opportune moment. Embrace the art of perfect timing—neither rushing in like an impulsive warrior nor hesitating like a cautious bystander. Channel your inner sales samurai to strike when the moment feels just right, ensuring that your actions resonate harmoniously with the rhythm of the sales journey.
6. Negotiate, Don't Battle
In the theatrical arena of sales, negotiation isn't a fierce battlefield but a graceful dance of collaboration. Picture yourself as the lead dancer, orchestrating negotiations with finesse and tact. Shift your perspective from a confrontational battle to a collaborative celebration, seeking solutions where both parties emerge as victors. Become the choreographer of a win-win performance, transforming the negotiation process into a harmonious partnership that extends far beyond a singular transaction.

Colin William Deamer Guide to Handling Common Sales Issues
Tumblr media
7. Show Off Your Super Value Powers
Your product isn't a mere commodity; it's a superhero with transformative superpowers. Become a storyteller, narrate a compelling saga of your product's ability to solve problems and elevate the customer experience. Showcase the value proposition, illustrating how your offering emerges as the superhero in your customer's narrative. Let your product's superpowers shine, leaving an indelible impression that transcends a simple transaction and establishes it as an indispensable ally in your customer's journey.
8. Follow-Up Smartly
Be a diligent detective, committed to unravelling the mysteries and ensuring a seamless transition from curiosity to commitment. Rather than a mere follow-up, approach it as a strategic continuation of the narrative, where you remain present, answering questions and guiding your newfound ally through the stages of decision-making. Your relentless commitment to this ongoing adventure solidifies your role as the trusted guide, propelling the journey towards a successful and enduring partnership.
Now, armed with these tricks, go out there and conquer the sales world with a smile!

Nintendo Switch: American Ninja Warrior
I remember being a kid and turning this on the TV and enjoying it as a fun family viewing experience. Really, I would do real life training to do this and compete like hell yeah. So when I saw this was a game, I did not blink twice and I got it. I sat on it for a very long time though.
Tumblr media
Experience the thrill of being an American Ninja Warrior from the comfort of your own home! Jump, Swing, Balance and Sprint your way to Victory! Race the clock and your friends in this intuitive and addictive game through a variety of frantic obstacle courses. Those who successfully complete the city courses move on to the finals where they face a stunning four-stage course modeled after the famed Mt. Midoriyama course in Japan. Enjoy all the thrills and spills to become the next American Ninja Warrior! More info here: https://www.gamestop.com/video-games/nintendo-switch/products/american-ninja-warrior-challenge---nintendo-switch/10164119-10164119.html
My Thoughts On The Game:
I bought this a long time ago, it was on sale but I don’t remember the cost at the time. When you boot up the game you start a career, pick your gender, and then your description. Make your avatar and start your career. Controls were really weird. And honestly, why wasn’t that a fitness game and not a button game? So in a funny turn of events, I had a hard time finding out information on the game to put in this post, per my usual template. I googled it and found out...it got delisted! My first delisted game review!
“American Ninja Warrior: Challenge was delisted on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One no later than March 20, 2022. This was the date that the game was submitted to the site after being removed. The game was removed due to the expired licensing of American Ninja Warrior from NBCUniversal.”
This game was a massive let down for the fact what its based on is amazing. I also really think this game missed its calling by not being an active game. I think if this game ever comes back, it comes back as an active game. That is my suggestion anyways. Is this game so bad its good? Who is willing to get their hands on a copy to find out?

Selling Your House with Not-So-Friendly Neighbors
Tumblr media
Neighbor Troubles and Wild Real Estate Stories
Selling your house should be an exciting and rewarding experience, but sometimes, there's one obstacle standing in your way – your not-so-friendly neighbors! Fear not, my fellow home sellers, for I've had my share of wild experiences as a housing professional, and I'm here to share some epic tales and useful tips to conquer those pesky neighbor challenges!
Apology on Ocean Views: The Building Crunch
Picture this – a breathtaking multi-million dollar property with stunning ocean views in Aptos, Ca. It was a new construction, and we were all racing against the clock to get it prepped and ready for the market. Admittedly, we weren't the most courteous neighbors, working around the clock like busy bees. But hey, we had a tight schedule to meet! So, what did we do? We threw a colossal open house bash, filled with scrumptious treats, and issued a heartfelt apology to the entire neighborhood for our crazy working hours. We thought we had won them over, but oh boy, were we in for a surprise! One neighbor across the street never forgave us! Every showing, she'd swoop in with tales of things "not to code." Talk about a thorn in our side!
Reconciliation and Lessons Learned
But you know what? I don't back down that easily. Oh no, I rolled up my sleeves, marched right up to Negative Nancy – no, that's not her real name, but she sure acted like one! Anyway, I personally apologized and asked how I could make things right. Surprise, surprise, she wanted a good ol' fashioned face-to-face apology. Lesson learned – communication is key! Next time, I'll involve the neighbors from the get-go, making sure they're on board with our plans and progress. Smooth sailing ahead!
A Tricky Park Manager
Now, let me regale you with a tale of a tricky park manager I had to deal with. We had a mobile home property sale, and this manager was one tough cookie. When I sent her the park application through with eSignatures, she declared she doesn't do computer stuff. I had already seen that she opened the document and was asking her to sign and approve my clients. Alrighty then! I printed and drove her over a physical copy, but two weeks went by with no response. Time was ticking, and people's lives were on the line – the sellers and buyers had their whole lives planned around this! So, I pulled out my secret agent moves, gathered all the evidence, and wrote a fact-based document showing how her silence was a violation of Fair Housing Laws. That got her attention, and the green light was given! Victory!
A Neighbor of A Kind
Oh, but the adventures don't end there! We had a nosy neighbor who seemed harmless at first – just being friendly and curious during showings. But, one day, as I was locking up, I spotted them INSIDE the garage. Major red alert! Turns out, they were living there, sneaking around like a ninja, hiding their stuff in the backyard bushes! Can you believe it? I called for backup, meaning my lender or broker tagged along for extra security. Turns out, they just needed help, so we offered resources instead of calling the cops. After all, in California, there are many people priced out of housing, and sometimes, they just need someone to lend a helping hand instead of judgment.
Turning Neighbor Troubles into Neighbor Triumphs
Folks, when it comes to dealing with not-so-friendly neighbors while selling your house, there's no one-size-fits-all solution. But with some creativity, a pinch of courage, and a willingness to communicate, you can conquer those neighbor beasts and turn those troubles into triumphs! Remember, it's never a bad idea to consult legal experts when needed or call the police if your safety is at risk. Each situation is unique, but with a positive attitude and a dash of resilience, you can navigate these wild real estate adventures and emerge victorious! So, go forth and sell that house with confidence and a smile! Happy home selling!

The top mobile games of all time in terms of downloads
There are a few games that have grown popular when it comes to mobile gaming. Fruit Ninja, Subway Surfers, and Candy Crush Saga are a few of these games. On Android and iOS devices, one game has managed to get the most downloads. Free Fire in Garena
Garena Free Fire is the most downloaded smartphone game worldwide. The Google Play Store's most popular game is this one as well.
A battle royale game is called Free Fire. The objective is for players to remain standing. Both iOS and Android are compatible with it. With up to three people, you may play.
In January and December 2020, Garena Free Fire was the most downloaded smartphone game globally, according to Sensor Tower. The game had over 19 million installations in the previous month. Rocket League Sideswipe was the mobile game with the second-highest number of downloads worldwide.
With more than 500 million downloads, Garena has ranked in the top 10 in terms of income for the game. Global sales of Free Fire reached $1 billion as of November 2019. The saga of Candy Crush
Candy Crush Saga is one of the all-time top mobile games in terms of downloads. To clear the board, players must match three pieces of the same colour, and the game is free to play.
The game has had over 2.73 billion downloads as of November 2017. This year, that figure is projected to rise by 20%.
Even though Candy Crush is one of the most well-known mobile games, others surpassed a billion downloads. Since the game's debut in 2012, it has been a hit.
For years, Candy Crush has been a popular smartphone game. Millions of people now use it, and it has spread worldwide. Its most recent version enhanced the game with new levels, gameplay, and aesthetics. Candy Crush presents players with a genuine challenge in contrast to its predecessors, which were simple match-style puzzles. Train Riders
Subway Surfers is still the most downloaded smartphone game ever, despite being published ten years ago. Players in this well-liked endless runner game navigate obstacles and sprint along an unending subway track while collecting money.
The look of the game is odd yet intriguing. The game was created by SYBO Games and Kiloo and is accessible on iOS and Android.

Fruit Ninja is one of the most popular games downloaded from the App Store. The game has a sizable fan following with around two million daily players. The game has grown to be one of the most well-known mobile games ever because of its popularity.
This game is free to download on Android, iOS, and Windows, but the creators also provide in-app purchases to help fund the project. You may play against the computer or other players if you need more money to purchase in-game cash.
The leaderboards and accomplishments in Fruit Ninja are an excellent illustration of its creativity. Players may earn rare swords and dojos. Black Ops Cold War, a Call of Duty game
Black Ops Call of Duty The early 1980s provide the setting for the video game Cold War. It is the sixth entry in the Black Ops franchise. In the game, you take on the role of Russell Adler, a CIA SAD/SOG operative. His goal is to end the Perseus menace of global espionage.
The game has a variety of objectives. The same company that worked on the last Call of Duty game, Raven Software, created the campaign mode. If you want to play with others, you may skip the zombies.
Even while Black Ops Cold War was a huge hit, it fell short of previous games in terms of quality. But it was still entertaining and offered a lot of benefits. Valor Arena
TiMi Studios, a Chinese gaming behemoth Tencent division, created MOBA or multiplayer online battle arena, game Arena of Valor. It was first launched in China in 2016, but later that year, it became available in the West.
The primary objective of the game is to beat opponents to get points. Real-time purchases by players are possible for things like attack bonuses and armour. The traits of each character vary, including those of magicians, sharpshooters, assassins, and tanks. In addition, the soccer mode in Arena of Valor employs five-versus-five competitive combat with two towers on each side.
Arena of Valor offers a variety of other entertaining activities. Players may personalize their load-outs before joining forces with players from all across the globe. They may also purchase extras.

Issue Seventy-Four
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like most younger kids, when my friend Jesse's nephews enjoy something, they really get into it. Introduce them to the iPhone game Among Us? It's all they want to do. And if they come across a YouTube video about a specially built squirrel agility course, there's a good chance that their entire house is going to turn into one. And having watched the video from Mark Rober in which he attempts to squirrel-proof his bird feeder in the most elaborate way possible, I can't blame them. It looks awesome. Basically, after several failed attempts to make his feeder inaccessible to the pesky squirrels, Rober decided to create a backyard spanning, American Ninja Warrior-inspired, squirrel obstacle course that would put the rodents through their paces, but offer big rewards should they succeed. Let me warn you right now, though: when you click on this video you're going to see that it's more than twenty minutes long and you're going to think, "boy that's a long video. I'll just watch a minute." And then you'll meet the four squirrels who are going to be competing, and you'll think "Well, let's just see how this first one does." But then you'll fall in love with Phat Gus the squirrel and then there's a plot twist, and then you're invested and it turns out you've watched the whole thing. But there are far worse ways to spend twenty minutes than watching a bunch of squirrels show tenacity and dedication to obtaining a bunch of walnuts, and one man's will to document it and make it as entertaining as possible.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Allllll the way back in Issue 4 of this newsletter, I introduced you to Stan Freberg, my favorite of the 1950s comedians. This week, since the holiday advertising push is in full swing, I give you one of his comedy 45s, "Green Chri$tma$," which also features some wonderful musical accompaniment by Sinatra's bandleader, Billy May. The thing I love about this track is that it feels so out of time. This came out in 1958, and the whole thing is a critique of how commercial Christmas has become, imagining how cynical advertising meetings must be, with this board meeting being run by the CEO, Mr. Scrooge. As the TV currently pumps out holiday-themed commercials to inspire us all to buy stuff from corporations to replace all the pandemic-themed commercials to inspire us all to buy stuff from corporations, it's a little comforting to know that this isn't a new problem and that people have been rolling their eyes at it for more than half a century. After it came out, the record was blasted in the advertising trade publications, radio station sales departments were banned from playing it, and a young disc jokey named George Carlin almost lost his job for putting it on the air. "Green Chri$tma$" isn't always very subtle about its point, but neither are the commercials it's satirizing.
