1) The actual original name of this story came from P'Jo, which was "Where the boys are - where are those people?" He wanted to tell the story of love, relationships, and sex between a group of people. 2) P'Jo and I tried to think of a story from this idea but couldn't continue. Until I told him about a relationship I had with an ex-boyfriend at one point, P'Jo got rid of all the plans he had thought of before and took this as a starting point instead. 3) Therefore, this story is based on true story. The characters that really exist are Top, Mew, Boston, Nick, and their relationships in real life are more complicated than in the story. 4) Another character that actually exists is P'Yo, the owner of the liquor store we liked to go to in our teenage (younger) years 5) After that, we developed the structure of this relationship and set the characters to be 4th year students about to complete a stage play as a project, with the backdrop being the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, acting major, SWU (where I graduated from). The project was titled "The Thesis - The End Hurts" [*SWU = Srinakharinwirot University] 6) If you look back at the pilot, you will see in the opening scene that every character is sitting holding a book. It's the acting textbook that I had brought from home. 7) Therefore, in the beginning when we created the characters of a group of 4 friends, we actually took the references from our friends from university. And the name Namchueam came when we were sitting and writing the plot at the house of a friend who had an older sister with this name. 8) Afterwards, we changed it to "Only Friends - Forbidden Friends", which was intended to be a play on "Only Fans", and changed the background to the Faculty of Business Administration, then made the final project a hostel instead. 9) The first cast that was there since the original idea were Neo and Mark, and after the plot was revised, we brought Force, Book, First, Khaotung, Lookjun, and other actors you've seen. 10) And there are other actors who haven't been seen yet…..

I'm writing here to invite everyone to continue watching. Although the starting point came from a true story, it was imagined and expanded upon. Every drama has taken on a life of its own. May everyone enjoy the second half of the story

The writer on ig shared some info on the show and its true story aspects. It's all so interesting to see it play out the way it is on screen and it's done so well! Also sandray are fictional so that makes me even more curious as to how they lead the rest of their story.
