      His hands were out;  all ready to wave them about as he speaks.  The doctor very much loves to gesture as he speaks,  and right now he was prepared to say something until:  “Seriously?”  He dropped his hands to his sides,  and made a quick disappointing noise with his mouth.  “Idle talk?  And here I was ready to start a grand speech!  Tch. “Idle talk”.  I guess you don’t want to hear what I have to say then.”

"Wait" Yennefer stated simply taking hold of the doctor by the hand to pull him to her, she took hold of the bowtie to pull him closer and before he could protest she placed her lips upon his own. Violet eyes fell shut as she kissed the timelord, she thought if she was going to run into the danger then now was a good time as any to kiss him. Finally Yennefer pulled away a grin upon her features.

      Wait?  He stops only to be stunned by the pressure of her lips and how she takes control.  “…!!”  He swore he could taste something like gooseberries.  That’s an odd flavour to be specific about,  but he could think of only that.  Once the kiss was over,  the doctor’s cheeks flushed, all flustered at the kiss.  He was practically speechless,  and his bow tie was askew.  “Wh-wh-ha?”

      Star man?  Well,  that’s a new one.  ( He quite likes it.  Star man. )  “——because you’re unsatisfied.  Remember our little chat?  You thought you were: going to be satisfied.  However,  it never happened,  did it?  Unsatisfied you are,  but I will change that.  I promise.” He smiles,  pointing his finger to her to state his point.  “You’ll see things that make you ultimately satisfied.  You’ll see the stars;  the many planets in different galaxies.  You’ll see it all.  You’ll walk across beaches covered in red sand or see otherworldly things.”

      He turned around,  practically twirling 90 degrees,  the end of his long coat flapping with the burst of movement.  His eyes widened at the portal formed just a few feet away from him. “Yennefer!”  The doctor gasped,  then he looked over his shoulder.  Something was there and it was gaining on him.  So he dashed quick,  heading straight to the portal.  “In-coming!!”  And then he threw himself into the portal,  arms out,  a grin on his face as he does so.

Any fish fingers?  I am famished!”

      He stood there,  frozen in place;  shocked by her words as he stares at her with wide eyes.  This is the problem of being a time lord.  Of having to obey the laws.  He couldn’t meddle with a fixed point in time,  she knows that,  right?  And yet it continues to make him feel so fucking useless.  It breaks his heart to not save someone but to hear it from Yennefer.  “——you try it then!  You try going against the laws!”  He yells out,  tears brimming at the corners of his eyes.  “You try and see if time and space itself with implode because you’re selfish enough to save someone that’s supposed to die!  It’s history!  A fixed point in time!  You can’t do anything that has already been done before!”
