Because it's astounding how different some characters would be if they just got their stuff worked out! But it's also surprising how many people seem shockingly stable??? Especially in a game where some life-altering or traumatizing event seems to happen every five minutes? I feel like being less normal is the only way to cope.

Who the Heck is This Izumi Chick?!

Besides just being the club mama….

First off, she seems like a kind person and as Kamiya stated, definitely not suited to be wrapped up in the Yakuza-girly lifestyle. I'm going to throw out a few speculations as to what her relationship to Doumeki could be and her importance to the plot. These ideas are based off of theories I have read and my own thoughts/interpretations :)

Doumeki's confidant/friend This does seem out of character for Doumeki but I'll list it as a possibility anyway. Maybe they're just friends and he confides in her about emotional things, his past?. Maybe she knows about everything that happened four years ago. She seems to know things about Doumeki that other characters don't. Like how she seemed confused when Kamiya referred to Doumeki as her boyfriend in Ch. 54. Not to mention that Kamiya says "He's always going over to your house" now I know D doesn't like sex that much, lol - at least with people who aren't Y. And he did mention he usually takes care of that himself. Think about it, if they were just sleeping together or in a relationship, there wouldn't be so much ambiguity surrounding their association with each other - Sensei has ofc done this purposefully! She wouldn't be acting so "weird" about it, if you ask me. Maybe she knows Aoi or helps D keep tabs on his family and gets money to them. idk idk idk, ahhhh! OOOO maybe when after kamiya left and izumi repeated to herself his words, "Not suited, huh." It was something she heard before from someone - D maybe? what could this meannn. What other reason could D have for visiting her all of the time? Do you think she's seen him smile? That would be adorable if it was a friendship. It would definitely be nice, but this is my theory that I think is the most off and doesn't fit the plot/characters. womp womp.

Secret tattoo Artist Not very likely Imo, I feel like a person would have come to the house (I'm not familiar with where irezumi is normally done in the yakuza) to do D's tattoo or he would go to the same person who did Tsukanawa's. I'm not sure if he got the tattoo after he saved Niki - I'm pretty sure he did - but maybe Tsukanawa and the others suggested he get one after his noble feat? Like an emblem. Maybe Tsukanawa offered to pay for it? Also, I saw a post on here that said D's tattoo didn't look finished yet, but I disagree. If that were so, I think Y would have mentioned it or something - or maybe it would be more obvious to the reader that it is still in progress. Y just says, "he went and got a back tattoo" and not something like "The idiot's got a half-baked tattoo on his back." AND if she did tattoos, I'm sure it wouldn't be a secret to everyone else. AND if the reason D was over her apartment all of the time was because of his tattoo that wouldn't make sense because you need time to heal between sessions and his back would be protected with something if he was.

Sex Buddy (turned friend) I could definitely see D attempting to get over Y in some way over the 4 years they were apart - albeit clinging onto hope that one day - somehow - they would reconnect. And during that period, I can imagine him experimenting with another person to "get over" Y (as if) or just to explore his own sexuality in a healthy way - especially as he matured and formed his own identity separate from Y. Maybe it started as sex, and they became friends? I still don't know though, because he is so terrified of being a rapist like his dad with Y, so it's also hard to imagine him - pardon my language - dominating a woman like that. Especially if what happened with Aoi still lingers in his mind. Even though Y tried to comfort him I'm sure he still feels the guilt. Saving Niki may have helped his guilt though - finally being able to successfully protect someone he cares for. ALSO, D denies having a woman when asked by Tsukanawa several times, but when Y assumes he has a woman during their encounter in Ch. 46 he confirms that he does. which is it Doumeki? Sounds suspicious to me. And it's not as if he is too shy to tell his boss that he has a woman, I mean he told Tsukanawa about his jerking off habits soooo.... I think he said this to make Y jealous - he was even looking away from Y with his head hung down as he answered the question...

Plot Driver Assuming my first theory to be true: Maybe something happens with the yakuza plot to where D is in a really bad situation (about the money he stole, Misumi, involvement with Y, disobeying Tsukanawa, current group drama, etc) and Izumi is the one to offer up crucial information about his past that ends up helping him?

A query... In Ch. 46 Izumi asks Kamiya not to spread around rumors of her and D's assumed relationship status because it might cause trouble. My question is why? What kind of trouble? Why would them dating be an issue? Thoughts?

I’m in such a mating cycle/animal instincts mood so a tierlist of that seems fitting. what animal hybrids would the cast be? -rei

so many of these characters could fit as so many different things but fuck it these are what i'm running with

Anzu would make a really cute fluffy lionhead type bunny or a wool breed. Eichi is probably some kind of purebred rex, super soft ears and calm. Leo reminds me of one of those really emotive rabbits that will thump at you for something entirely minor, then start binkying around all over the place for some other random reason. Makoto is your average white rabbit. Nazuna is just your standard dwarf rabbit, cute but nothing wild. Wataru might secretly be a hare. Mayoi is a lop, he's also the most prone to die on the spot from stress smh.

As cats... HiMERU is a very calm, but not very affectionate cat with very sleek fur. Ibara seems very affectionate but then bites you if you try to pet him too much, also has really coarse fur. Jun is the rare type of cat that's okay with literally anything. Keito is aloof, but not mean if sought out and doesn't run away. Natsume thwacks things he doesn't like away from him (including other people). Mika has a few people who he allows to pet him, and runs away from anyone else.

If i had to put the dog people to breeds: Arashi as a standard poodle with flashy looks and a lot of energy. Chiaki honestly makes me think of a shepherd breed, hardworking and loyal. While I could call Koga a corgi for the meme of it, I think he's actually more like some kind of high-strung spitz. Subaru reminds me of a heeler. Mao is def a kind of collie who is super hard working and gets anxious if he has nothing to do. Tatsumi is like a LGD to me (think great pyreneese), calm and chill but not a push over at all. Niki is a sighthound mix because he's so weird bless. Tsumugi is dependable, calm person that reminds me of a newfoundland (also fluffy)

Hiyori is a lovebird! So sweet, but also bratty. Hokuto is smart, but also weird, he's a magpie. Izumi is a peacock, showy to his own detriment. Have you ever seen fancy pigeons? Shu is one of the ones with the really dramatic trails and pulled back heads. Souma makes me think of a really inquisitive ringneck or a songbird. Yuzuru is a hawk! totally tethered and accustomed to society, but a hawk nonetheless.

With how regal and intimidating he is, Nagisa's gotta be some kind of big catboy. A white lion or tiger feels most fitting. Adonis was a struggle to place but I think being a bear suits him well. Cop out answer for Kanata would be to just call him a fish, but I think calling him a capybara is fitting. So i also struggled a bit with Kuro but ultimately, I want to call him wolf. Can you even be surprised if i call Madara a cowboy? No you can't. Ritsu and Rei are already vampires, might as well be batboys. Rinne is a crafty, scheming little shit, he's totally a fox.

i need to see more niki and izumi interactions. i know they keep a framed photo of izumi (that is signed) for niki's kitchen meetings but i want to see one on one cooking lessons with them or their text messages bc i feel like niki would send a dozen little notes on all the recipes they try but izumi lives with leo who is also just Like That so it would be fun to see that with someone else

some of you need to accept that niki is a very single-minded character and that in and of itself can make him very deep depending on how you look at it. his low self esteem almost certainly plays into why he only talks about food and cooking most of the time.

Hello.... If you don't mind me asking, who are your favorite romantic relationship's couples in books/ manga/ anime/movies/tv series (can be canon or non-canon)? Feel free if you want to write the reasons or not of why you love them...Thanks if you want to answer....

Ohohoh, I don't mind at all! I've been fujoshi since forever (and I mean it, one of the very first anime I watched was Gravitation), so this is dominated by m/m couples, of various states of canon... Warning: long post.

My OTPs are Wataru/Eichi from Ensemble Stars and Yuki/Momo from IDOLiSH7. I could write essays (and sort of have done) about Wataru and Eichi, I sometimes joke I don't need romance novels because Wataru and Eichi provide all the twists, from graduation rooftop "proposal" to flirting in front of their unitmates to jealous fits to bragging about their relationship to others. There's almost 9 years of lore here so I'll just say here that their story is superb and they are my jam.

Yuki and Momo are just the most married and cute and funny couple. And funnily have some similar beats as Wataru and Eichi, where one (Yuki, Eichi) was devastated by something to point they didn't really see any reason to continue and the other (Momo, Wataru) came to drag them out of their gloom.

I have other Ensemble Stars ships I enjoy too: Tatsumi/Mayoi, Nagisa/Hiyori, Izumi/Leo, Rinne/Niki... I usually go for ships that have fair amount of canon material and these do.

I have one more OTP: Shizuma and Minato from Therapy Game. Aaa, their relationship is great because Minato *knows* all his own faults and tries to be rational but it's so hard, and Shizuma understands that and has patience of a saint. But Shizuma also doesn't always understand how some of his innocent actions towards other people look to Minato. But they are really cute and hot too. And I bow to Meguru Hinohara for her storytelling and art, her other series, The Dragon's Betrothed is good too.

Other manga couples I like are Hirano & Kagiura from Sasaki & Miyano, and their own spin-off series of course. I like Sasamiya a lot too, they are really sweet but I find myself being more invested in Hirano and Kagi's thing.

Ok, what next... I just finished The Case Files of Jeweler Richard novel vol. 7, so Seigi and Richard. If there ever was what's-actually-gonna-happen?? slowburn, it's here. Seigi is damn slow and Richard communicates in riddles but man I'm invested. I also bow to Nanako Tsujimura for these books, love them.

Speaking of slowburns and slow realizations and dumb communication (/affectionate), the danmei royalty of Hua Cheng and Xie Lian and Lang Wangji and Wei Wuxian. Both are very good. I love the trope of love transcending time and all that, so Hua Cheng waiting for 800 years for Xie Lian ticks this box so hard.

I'm also basic, so of course Viktor and Yuuri from Yuri On Ice are on my list. Same also for Ash and Eiji from Banana Fish. Touya and Yukito from Cardcaptor Sakura. Oh, I quite like Cherry blossom and Joe from Sk8 too.

I have a bunch of Genshin Impact ships I enjoy. I'm most invested in Alhaitham/Kaveh and Diluc/Kaeya. I like ships that have a past, I'm sure you noticed.

Ok, should I mentioned relationship that nobody probably knows about... But I keep thinking it a lot. There's this BL visual novel called Tokyo Onmyoji, the main character Rei is dealing with all kinds of supernatural problems as onmyoji. One of the routes is with his childhood friend Suguru and that route is beeeest. It's so good, deals with trauma and family trouble and their past and aaa now I'd like to read it again.

Also, Dramatical Murder is my least favourite Nitro+Chiral visual novel but damn, Koujaku and Aoba are so good couple, it ticks again so many boxes for me. (why oh whyyyyy that gorgeous figure of them is so expensive?! I can't justify myself to get pieces of plastic that cost two month's rent...)

Alright, let's pretend for a moment I'm not completely rotten woman... One of my favourite game couples is Eirika and Seth from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. It again gives me the "I've always liked you but I have kept my distance for reasons". I'm also in the Cloud/Tifa (minority?) camp for FFVII ships.

Kiyoka and Miyo from My Happy Marriage are het couple I'm really behind. I like how they are in the "so good for each other" category and how they've had to work on their relationship. The anime didn't show Kiyoka's thoughts that much but in the books he's also still learning how to be a good boyfriend/husband.

Shin and Lena from 86. Often I'm just "ok" about obvious couples like these but they are the exception. I think maybe it helped that they were separated soon after they got to know each other and then had to sort of got to know each other again.

Oh btw, I do read yuri too but I'm usually more into the series as a whole or one character's personal growth rather than their relationship. Like Sayaka from Bloom Into You. She's my favourite character from the series and I like her spin-off light novel series but I'm most into her finding peace with herself and love in general, if you understand what I mean. But! Hanako and Alice from Goodbye, My Rose Garden manga are my favourite yuri couple! Escaping relationship/marriage that people expect for you but you don't want, to unite with your true love is a trope I'm really fond of.

But Xitty, do you have any Western media couples you like? Well, murder husbands aka Hannibal and Will Graham I think of fondly and love forever. I was very very big Sherlock and John shipper (BBC ver.) and you can't take that away really. I'm also basic when it comes to Doctor Who, so Tenth Doctor and Rose make my heart flutter and eyes cry for their doomed (kinda) story. I just find myself watching less and less Western shows, so I don't even know what's happening there nowadays.

Because I have way too much fun writing these

So. It is about time we get another shuffle, december has been a shuffle season rather consistently. In the years we had them. And, because of this, it's more fun to think about this.

"Linen, what are you even talking about?"

Well... the honest answer is that I have way too much free time and like analyzing things I surely don't need to overthink this much. It's my way of having fun. But it's nicer because there's more of a solid foundation to work with, though I'm writing this part in late september.

Anyway, christmas shuffle, right.

The three shuffle units we have surrounding this theme were Branco, La Mort and Flambé. This implies it's unlikely to see Tori, Yuzuru, Subaru, Mayoi, Aira, Nagisa, Ibara, Rinne, Kohaku, Rei, Tomoya, Hajime, Ritsu and Sora in such an event again.

Which is not a lot to rule out at first, but it's good enough.

Again, the obvious: idols already featured in a shuffle during this rotation are out of question. So no Yuzuru, Hokuto, Hinata, Niki, Rei, Hajime, Ritsu, Natsume, Tsumugi and Madara.

There are some overlaps, so that was 20 characters ruled out so far.

I'd love to name trickstar as a whole because of Xday, but Hokuto already left the game, and Subaru is unlikely because of the previous rotation. They were the 5* and the 4* for Xday, and maybe this isn't enough to justify not considering Makoto or Mao this time.

Also, they would be 4* cards, since they already have a shuffle 5*, so I'm keeping them around even if it doesn't sound right at the moment.

Our last shuffle was MANA, and the two 5* cards were Yuzuru and Niki. Based on my observations, this doesn't exclude Wataru from being featured as a 4*, but makes it unlikely for Eichi, Himeru and Kohaku to get a 5*.

As for events, the characters who got a 5* in the last 4 months were Wataru, Izumi, Tetora, Jun and Sora...

Like I said earlier, though... I'm writing this a lot earlier than I did the last few times, so I don't have enough information either. As in. I genuinely can't look at scouts because I'd have to check the characters who got a 5* in the last 60 days, so I'd have to be looking at cards released between october and november.

I also don't have a starting point like I had last time.

But one theory I got at the moment is that Ryuseitai may be featured, and there's a good chance it will be as one of the 5*... since Shinobu is... very due. And Ryuseitai got a center in September + I'm expecting him not to get a tour for now.

This would be my gamble at the moment, and I'll use it as my starting point just for fun.

Shinobu was paired with Wataru, Hinata, Hiiro and Mika, so this would mean this is not their time.

What are the characters who still need a shuffle 5*? Well... Eichi, Subaru, Kanata, Tetora, Shinobu, Hiiro, Mayoi, Nagisa, Ibara, Jun, Mika, Yuuta, Himeru, Kohaku, Koga, Adonis, Nazuna, Mitsuru, Keito, Kuro, Tsukasa, Leo, Arashi and Sora.

Using my theory from last time, I'd rule out Ra*bits and Knights, since they have a song with Ryuseitai, though this is to be taken with a grain of salt, it is pure speculation. If I'm right, though... the options are fewer with Yuuta, Koga, Adonis, Keito and Souma.

A good portion of them has been ruled out, so, realistically, if Shinobu is the event 5* like I'm anticipating him to be, this would narrow it down to Yuuta, Koga, Adonis, Nazuna, Keito, Souma, Tsukasa, Leo and Arashi.

What about 4* cards? Tori, Makoto, Mao, Aira, Tatsumi, Hiyori, Shu, Rinne, Kaoru, Tomoya, Kuro, Izumi.

Keito and Souma got cross scout cards this year, but Hokuto proved that doesn't mean anything, so I'm leaving them alone.

If Shinobu is indeed event, then the scout 5* should be a character who got an event card in the last rotation, and so not much changes. We're looking at Koga, Adonis and Keito.

Are these the only options? No.

Hajime was the scout 4* for Branco and the event 4* for EVIL NUM+. Not everyone who needs a 5* will get one, and my best shot is that they will sacrifice the 4 people units. The ones with 5 people too, but I'm guessing this isn't a surprise and everyone thinks the same.

So my bet is that Eichi and Subaru will get the same treatment Hajime got. And then the other 4 people units will get a 5* only, with Eden, Crazy:B and Ra*bits being exceptions because they only have a single 5* each so far.

Which is to say I'm expecting Nazuna and Mitsuru to get 5* cards at some point, yes.

1. Who is your main idol identity? Do you have multiple? Feel free to list as many as you want!

my main is and always will be the one and only izumi sena of knights and ensemble stars fame. i have other big / core ones but he is my #1 spiritual connection, #1 kin, etc. its all about him. ena from pjsk i don’t consider an idol but she’s also huge for me, and it’s a music franchise so worth mentioning i suppose. my biggests from enstars are izumi, koga, mika, natsume, and hiiro i think. other sources, i highly kin chisato from bandori and you from love live who are idols. - 🏹

My main two are Rei and Leo from Enstars! I kin a lot more from ES as well, but outside of that I do have like music sourced kins (bandori, aaside, etc) but I don't really consider them for this ask game since they're in bands and not really "idols" per say. From Enstars I also am Eichi, Shu, Mao, Keito, Kanata, Hajime, Rinne, Tsumugi, Nagisa, and Tatsumi. - 🪽

2. What Unit(s) were you in? What were the people in them like? Were you ever a solo idol?

i’ll just talk about enstars to limit this list a bit. all my enstars kins have at least one canon where i was in the “correct” unit (hokuto, chiaki, hiiro, jun, mika, niki, koga, tomoya, izumi, natsume). i have a natsume canon where i was in trickstar instead of makoto. i have an izumi canon where i was still in knights, but we became four people as leo ended up leaving for good. as mika i remember some very distinct non-canon shuffle unit projects that were important to me, including one that had myself koga jun and mao together for a shuffle unit related to some sort of fashion or modeling thing with kind of edgy clothes. in one of my koga canons i had a pretty prominent solo career while i was still in undead, but also making and releasing my own music on the side as a personal project type thing. the people in my units are my loved ones much more often than not. knights, undead, switch, the other halves of eve and valkyrie, even more. these are people who have planted themselves deep into my heart. i don’t remember solo careers other than koga but i won’t rule it as a possibility. but my units are always really important to me. - 🏹

In all of those, I was pretty much in the same units except for alternate canons as Mao (Knights) and Tsumugi (Eden?). I'll mostly just talk for Rei and Leo since I cover like... all units with those and I don't want to talk about everyone in an ask. In Undead, we all had really close friendships I think. I saw Adonis as another younger sibling and Kaoru was like my best friend. Koga and I got together and were eventually married (in my main TL) but we all were just really close! Not a lot of bad blood in my opinion. Koga butted heads with us but it was never anything extremely serious. As for Leo, LOL. We all fought a lot but at the end of the day we all loved eachother I'm pretty sure! I got along well with everyone and had the most struggles with Sena and Suo... Naru looked after me a lot and fussed about me which got a little much sometimes but not super bad. Rittsu and I never really fought from my memory? We spent a lot of time snuggled and napping together and just relaxing honestly. And while i was loud he never really minded my noise, unlike Sena. Sena and I were together and lived together too later down the line but we clashed a lot in our differing autism and other mental issues. We're always good for eachother and love eachother and nothing can change that though. At the end of the day things are okay. Suo though I just see too much of myself in so we struggle a lot. I don't have the most memories with him because early on I just didn't care all too much but hopefully I'll remember more down the line because he really is a special kid. - 🪽

it wasn’t long until izumi had arrived. were you nervous? you don't know. perhaps it was excitement? that, you're unsure of as well. going out with someone you claimed as nothing but a "hallway crush" was something that you did not expect.

there you were, sitting in his car with him. you could barely even make eye-contact with izumi, which he was the same. a blush displayed all over his face as he muttered to himself. you decided not to question it- well, you were curious but decided to keep to yourself.

"you, uh," he broke the silence, gulping as he kept his eyes on the road. 'fuck' izumi thought, tapping his fingers on the wheel. "you look nice." you froze, and stopped texting your beloved best friend as you stammered upon your words.

"t-thank you..! ah... um, you too..." you laughed awkwardly, a faint shade of red tainting your cheeks. "sena-san, do you mind telling me where exactly are we going?" you ask, trying to break the awkward atmosphere and attempt to make a small conversation. despite obviously disliking it.

'how the hell do you talk to dudes? niki, you owe me two months worth of your cooking and discount for encouraging this.'

izumi deadpans. "mcdonalds." you blinked, an awkward silence taking over once again, before you broke it with a giggle which soon escalated to a loud laugh. "w-what? your friend, niki, told me that you love it there!"

"haha… he's not wrong. i was just surprised, that's all. i'm glad you asked him, that's cute." you grinned, before returning to text niki to tell him about what had happened— until you realized. 'what the hell am i saying?'

the boy, on the other hand, simply tried brushing it off as he was used to compliments. but how was he able to ignore it when you’re the literal light of his life? the LOVE OF HIS LIFE?! izumi played it off with a chuckle, patting your head. "yeah, yeah… i know i'm cute. you are, too."

you had fun, no doubt. izumi made it a little bit less awkward, or so he tried. honestly, to kohaku, your interactions with each other was adorable to the point of puke-worthy. "these two… are disgusting." he groaned, fanning himself due to how hot it was under his disguise.

niki shushed him. "shut up, kohaku! you'll blow our cover." he crossed his arm as he pulled out a magnifying glass, spying on the two. kaname sweat drops, "niki-san, we're in a car."

rinne could only pout, "that should’ve been me! let me out of the car, i’m crashing this date." the younger tojo panicked, trying to hold the red-haired male back. "i will throw you off this car while driving, amagi." himeru threatened.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP! they’re talking about something."

KORKA ! My suggestions for Youkai AU are Hiiro and Rinne being Inugamis (Dog spirits born from a ritual done on dogs) and Niki being a Gashadokuro (Massive skeleton made of victims of starvation) <×< that last one is pure angst that I HAD to suggest

LENA HII i have had kasa rotating in my mind for the past like 2 weeks this is perfect sorry if this is all over the place >__< also im putting a read more thingy so it looks like a wrote a lot and im an intellectual but rlly this all basic info and its like dumbed down i think... i can only do so much</3 

i actually used to not like tsukasa at first like that was the case for izumi and leo as well but with kasa i just ??? didn't care abt him and i was mad that he 'replaced' leo as leader which is so stupid like 2019 niki didnt know wtf she was talking abt BUT ANYWAYS. after i read requiem i realized hes not a bad kid and knights is something very important to him even before he was leader. that scene where he recalls seeing knights practice for the first time and mentions how even though they looked like they were in pieces that made them seem more dear to him and when he says "there was a part of me that wouldnt be satisfied with just being obedient forever, praised every day as if were the most natural thing in the world. it was an ugly and miserable part of me, buried deep within my heart, i wanted to save it. that's probably why i started to move toward them almost instinctively" makes me so ill because everyone always says that tsukasa saved knights after what happened with the war which is true like hes literally their miracle and brought them back together but no one ever talks about how knights saved tsukasa even tho he literally says that their singing resonated with him. also this scene makes me want to bang my head against the wall.

he's a good kid it bothers me when people say that he should have never taken the crown like did you completely miss the part where naru calls him the driving force of knights? i think he has big shoes to fill but he's doing a good job i'm excited for his center song i hope we get to learn more abt him and his family life and what knights is to him. also i still think promise swords is abt him not sure if its already canon but if not then well it is to me i was supposed to finish picking apart the lyrics and explaining them/putting quotes that reminded me of the lyrics but i forgot well maybe some other day i'll finish that . also also i love when in robin hood he calls leo a traitor bcuz he thinks that leo and anzu have a kid together and in requiem where leo says 'well yeah i was always prepping you to be my successor ;P' and kasa's like 'i thought it was a metaphor and you were preparing me mentally' or something like that idk i havent read requiem in forever. hes rlly funny without trying i love talking abt him like how a mexican mother talks abt her kids. and dont get me started on the fact that he and leo are one and the same its so obvious that theyre sort of parallels of each other but thats a post for another day though its made a little obvious in the screenshot i shared. also this is stuff i have already said before srry :P

My guess on the next shuffle

Since the tsukisuta was announced to be on the 28th + the shuffle members will be announced on the 27th, and i've been thinking about this since EVIL NUM+

To start things out, the guest for the upcoming tsukisuta is Yamaguchi Tomohiro (Niki's VA), so he's most likely a 5*, which was expected to some extent.

This early in the rotation, it's not realistic to guess the rest of the lineup, though. It's not straightforward, and 4piece adds a piece of uncertainty to this, but I have to start somewhere.

Obvious considerations

Niki won't be in a shuffle with other Crazy:B members;

Neither will he be paired with members of previous shuffles;

Idols already featured in the current rotation shouldn't be getting another card before the rotation is finished;

Characters who didn't get a 5* in the previous rotation are more likely to get one this time;

If a character got a 5* already, they should be featured as a 4* for this rotation.

Which means the following idols won't be featured in the upcoming shuffle: Hokuto, Chiaki, Mitsuru, Hajime, Hinata, Rinne, Himeru, Kohaku, Kaoru, Natsume or Ritsu.

This is as solid as it goes, honestly. The rest is pure speculation, based on what sounds more or less likely.

Previous shuffle rotation

This is still the second shuffle of the rotation, so there's not much to discuss surrounding it, we only have EVIL NUM+ so far, so it's not like I can just do this based on elimination alone.

So a good place to start out is the previous rotation, to see if it's possible to notice any patterns.

Just in case it needs to be remembered, the shuffles were:

My hopes with this was to hopefully find out that they try not doing two consecutive shuffles featuring idols of the same unit, but this theory didn't stand to the test, since the first two shuffles had Crazy:B and Ra*bits members in their lineups.

Turns out most units feel grouped when you look at them like this. Though you could argue some of them were forgotten for a while.

Still, one thing that didn't happen, though, was featuring idols of the same unit as 5* cards for consecutive shuffles, so maybe (we hope) it's safe to rule out Trickstar & Switch, at least for a 5*.

They can still be in this shuffle, but will be a 4*, if that's the case. I'm just eliminating them because it's not like I can guess the entire lineup anyway.

Now that it came to this, and it's mostly giving clues about what would be more likely for a 5*, it's reasonable to rule out all the idols who got a 5* card, if they weren't yet: Wataru, Tori, Midori, Tatsumi, Aira, Hiyori, Shu, Rei, Tomoya, Kuro, Izumi & Madara.

Events/Scouts

Let's take a look at events, why not. Sure, happy elements doesn't really care if a character is due, but they're not going to give the same character two events with a short gap in between. Again, at least not two 5* cards. Can they do it? Yes. But why would they? When you have 54 characters to choose from, it just doesn't add up.

So, what was the shortest gap? From what I've gathered:

Natsume: 121

Kohaku/Tsukasa: 167

Hinata: 212

Kohaku: 214

Kohaku: 257

The idols who got events in the last four months: Tetora, Hiiro, Adonis & Leo.

Now, for scouts... the shortest gap was under 60 days, I believe. If it wasn't, then it was general. Remembering things is hard, but I'm working with what I got at the moment. This isn't that serious, I don't need to look it up.

But yes... it's not possible to rule out many idols here, since this is such a short period.

Anyway, the idols who got a scout 5* in the last 2 months were: Eichi, Ibara, Yuuta, Souma & Tsukasa.

"How many are left at this point, Linen?", you may ask. Well... 16.

Is there anything else to look at? I'm not sure. Being very honest, here. I know there is someone keeping track of how due a character is considering when they last got a 4* too. Makes sense, but I wouldn't say it's strong evidence to rule out Shinobu and Mika here because they got a 4* somewhat recently. The same applies to 4piece, since they're slowly but surely getting 4* cards as VS takes place.

Sure, the logic I used here has its flaws: Niki's VA being featured in the tsukisuta as a guest makes it very solid that he's the event 5*. So characters featured in events during the last 4 months can actually still get a 5* now, because they would be scout ones. It would be especially painful for AdonisPs, but could it happen? Yes. That's the situation for Tetora, Hiiro, Adonis & Leo. Lower chances of being the other 5* because they're not due, but that could definitely be the outcome.

Past combos

Because shuffles are a great opportunity to experience something new.

What do I mean, though?

So... Niki only got a tour so far. But he was paired with Nazuna, so it would be a bit repetitive if he got another event where the other 5* happened to be Nazuna. No songs for most tours, however... this scenario is yet to repeat itself, so I'm guessing it's safe to assume they're avoiding it.

Can the same be said for things like covers and fusion live? I'd say no, because no one got a 5* for these. And it's questionable if it means something if two units got a song together once or twice.

But okay, let's check this.

The covers were:

If you don't look too closely, you can say no shuffle 5* duo coincides with these. But I'd still take it with a grain of salt. I guess it just makes it more unlikely for Niki to be paired with Koga. Since they theoretically have a song together, despite the fact there were other 6 people there with them.

Again, that is only true for 5* combos. Since, you know... Midori and Leo were in the same shuffle, for example.

Conclusion

There isn't one, actually. But if you need this information summarized, then I'll give you that.

Niki's VA was announced as the guest for the next tsukisuta, and they revealed that the next event will be a shuffle. Adding the two tells you Niki should be the event 5*, and the information I gathered during this post are:

Rinne, Himeru and Kohaku won't be in the lineup because they're also Crazy:B members;

Natsume, Hokuto, Hinata, Hajime and Ritsu aren't going to be in the lineup because they were already featured in EVIL NUM+;

Kaoru, Chiaki and Mitsuru shouldn't be in this shuffle because Niki was in a unit with them in the first rotation;

Izumi, Makoto, Tori, Aira, Midori, Mao, Hiyori, Tatsumi, Rei, Wataru, Kuro, Madara, Tsumugi, Shu, Rinne and Tomoya can be a 4*, but not the other 5* because they already got one in the previous rotation;

Subaru and Sora can't be a 5* for this shuffle because a member of their unit was a 5* in the last shuffle event, but can still be featured as 4* cards;

Other idols from units of the members of EVIL NUM+ may still be part of this lineup, as a 4* or a 5*;

Ibara, Yuuta, Eichi and Tsukasa can't be the other 5* if Niki is indeed event, because they got a scout 5* in under 60 days;

Assuming Niki is actually a scout card, Tetora, Hiiro, Adonis and Leo shouldn't be the event 5* because their last event card was released in under 120 days;

Nazuna is unlikely to be the other 5* because he was paired with Niki in their tour;

Koga and Adonis may not be a priority for 5* this time because Crazy:B and UNDEAD have a cover song together.

I may have forgotten bits and pieces, but this should make things simpler.
