Nike is set to reintroduce the iconic Air Flightposite in a striking "Metallic Gold" colorway
Later this year, the iconic Nike Air Flightposite is set to return with its highly anticipated "Metallic Gold" colorway. Originally introduced in 1999 and revisited in 2008, this Eric Avar-designed sneaker, famously worn by NBA stars Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett, is making a triumphant comeback after 16 years.
Drawing inspiration from the human anatomy, the 2024 revival retains its signature black neoprene upper, accented by a gleaming metallic gold Foamposite shell. Featuring a concealed lacing system accessible only through a full-length zipper, the shoe boasts a sleek and minimalist aesthetic. Nike's Swoosh logo adorns the tongues and back heel tabs, while a metallic silver carbon fiber plate crowns the black rubber outsole, completing the design.
Anticipate the arrival of the Nike Air Flightposite "Metallic Gold" at select retailers and online on Nike's website, priced at $240 USD, just in time for the holiday season.
